This was pretty fun, definitely a lot easier the the first one, however I didn't find it quite as good as the first one... It gets kinda old having to keep switching between your Angel/Devil forms depending on what enemy you're fighting (& most of the time you'll have to be in the correct form or you'll die pretty quick). The first one also had support characters you could bring along with you to the dungeons, you go solo on this one (I got lonely...). 

 

The soundtrack wasn't as good either, but it does have 2 bad-ass ones to make up for that: the opening (Kakusei, Iteru Tamashii to Unmei no Kyoukaisen), & the true end boss theme (Shito Kanadeshi Hametsu no Tategoto), both by Yousei Teikoku.

This was a pretty fun game I'm pretty terrible at fighting games but this game wasn't to hard to plat the worst thing about this game is the star labs missions I hated doing them mortal kombat's challenge tower was alot funner then this some of the requirements for 3* is pretty difficult the hardest mission was 220 what were they thinking on this? you need to beat 2 enemies while ice is falling down and you need to win and clash and survive a super move with 1 health bar.

Game started out decent but later on it just became a drag. Too much grindy stuff as half of my 60 hours playtime where spend grinding affection and levels. The game has also many other flaws like the fact that all enemies can hover over trapped floor tiles whereas you only have one char that can do it (or you have to equip some specific items) or that each character learns a maximum of 5 different moves (+ one special ability).

Bouight this game while I was on a trip back in 2013 and enjoyed it for the short time I played but never thought I would really focus on gaining the plat as the game has some serious performance problems and the rubberband AI is quite annoying. The server closure gave me the incentive to at least finish the online portion which luckily only consisted of getting some downloads which I was mostly able to self-boost thanks to a second Vita.  The remaining singleplayer-content I had to do was doable after some time but caused a lot of hatred due to the afore mentioned performance problems but I somehow managed to pull it off and I'm glad that I was finally able to delete this game for good. And why does the savegame still take up 130MB although I deleted all downloaded mods? o_O

Oh look, a R&C-game with another bland plat-image (at least it somehow fits the game).

FFA is probably my least favorite R&C-game. Main reason for this is the lack of content. There are 5 different levels from which are 2 more or less the same with the only difference being the weather and 2 other levels are rather short. The tower defense-aspect of this game was decent at first but became boring rather fast. The only thing that kept me away from the plat one year ago was the trophy for beating 3 developer times. Due to a boosting session I tried to retry this game and to warm up I wanted to tackle some levels and realized that even solo the times were quite doable after all and about 1 retry later I managed to beat the dev times for level 2 and 3, earning me the Over the Top-troohy. Only thing left was some small grind to move some given distances but compared to the Hyperdevotion it was a joke. 

 

 

#135: Full Throttle Remastered (PS Vita)

After disliking Grim Fandango and enjoying Day of the Tentacle I hoped that Full Throttle would be more similar to the later than the first. Sadly this game is right between those two games. I really liked the dialogs at first and the music is really great but after some while I found myself just hanging to a guide as I lost my motivation. Somehow the puzzles weren't really fun and the lack of interaction possiblities got me bored. Like I read in some reviews it more feels like a Telltale-game than a point-and-click in many parts. And those bike fights and the destruction derby where also no fun at all.

 

 

Overall it feels like a very mediocre month game-wise but it was quite productive at least. Hope May will be better with the potential plats for Dirt Showdown and AC 3. =)

It took some time getting used to the game looks and mechanics, but I really enjoyed my time with it. Just bought the other region version of it and am gonna play that tonight after work. Games like this one are really good to just enjoy gaming and relax and as an added bonus you get a plat for it too.

Platinum #101 - Persona 5 (PS4)
 

I DID IT!!! Man, this game took forever to platinum, but I had a really good time with it. All of the characters were solid and the gameplay was top notch.

Story wise this game starts out strong and continues to build on top of that initial momentum. There was never a point in this game that made me wish I could skip it. Even if there were there is a speed up function that boosts you through scenes. I used this liberally on my second play through since most everything is the same as the first.

The music is ace and the English dub was very well done as well. I don't see or hear the issues that other people have with the dub, but if you don't like it there is a downloadable Japanese VO DLC that is free on the PSN.

My bae was the teacher Kawakami and that is all I will say. Trying not to spoil anything for anyone looking to jump in.

Platinum #11 - Wolfenstein The New Order (PS4)  Also brought me to Trophy Level 11 ⭐️ Platinum Difficulty Rating 3/10

This game plays very well. Its not often you see dual weilding in a first person shooter anymore. Wolfenstein keeps two seperate save files. One for chapter progress and the other for collectibles, that's very handy! Not to mention your collectibles and perks carry over on all difficulties, also nice! I beat the whole game on Uber without using the exploit. In order to use the exploit, one would have to go offline to earn the "Uber Hero" trophy the easy way. But as you can see, I have all my timestamps ^-^ Looking forward to playing The Old Blood very soon!

I never really knew what this game was about.  Thought it was some Minecraft-in-space game.  So when I actually saw the review and gameplay... First impression, WOW!  Shortly after that, frustration!!! Every 30 seconds some human was dying and I didn't know what keepers were, nor what the actual goals were other than to kill things.  You'll probably want to read a good guide or watch some gameplay explained video so you know what you're actually doing.  Once you do though, this game is SPLENDID!  GENIUS use of controls, PERFECT balance of gameplay and BEAUTIFUL graphics, really fun modes, and just the right difficulty.  As someone else said, the game is like Super Stardust meets Dead Nation on a horizontal scroller (and I think the same people that made those made this, but not sure.

 

Enjoyment : 9.8 / 10 

Difficulty:  6.5 / 10

 

 

Now, off to 100% the game.

Edit: There seems to be some bug with liking user generated ships preventing a trophy from popping on the DLC.

they said the game was a 3/10 difficulty. played it in entirety more like a 2/10. nothing extremely hard. going to up my difficulty challenge some with skylanders trap team (ps3). got some help from the kaos trap for nightmare difficulty. its going to be more useful if i get the game a second time later this month if things go right.

I'm not that great at platformers, so, when I ended up stuck on the boss rush in my NG+ Checkpointless playthrough back in December 2015, I decided to put Shovel Knight off for a while. Now that I'm working on my backlog, I decided that the best way to get through Shovel Knight would be to just finish up the NG+ and do two more NG runs (one for Checkpointless and the no death trophies and one for the speedrun and no relic trophies). I still can't say that platformers are quite my cup of tea, but they are definitely satisfying to finish!
