Popular Post Superbuu3
#167 Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 Platinum Get all trophies This is a really fun game, don't be fooled by the kiddy appearance this is a must play if you got a decent group of friends to play, which I was fortunate to have. Most of the trophies are easily acquired but for the 100% and 1 or 2 trophies in the base game there is a significant amount of difficulty, though decent team mates and learning game mechanics you'll be able to beat it. This is better than the first game in every conceivable way. Having more modes, single player content, considerably more unlockables and community events that just add to the experience. The leap in quality from the first to second game makes me hopeful that the same can happen to Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
Platinum #143 Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour Tons of nostalgia came flooding back to me whilst playing this! ? I experienced about 7 or 8 different crashes whilst playing it although from what I gather, it's nowhere near as buggy as the Megaton edition on PS3 and Vita. Very simple Platinum and you can exploit the in-game cheats to your heart's content, although I was already very familiar with the game. An all time classic! ?

While the game is still pretty enjoyable, this is in my opinion, the worse Vita port of a PS2 HD remaster I've played yet, with a noticeably reduced frame rate making for trickier controls. I was intending to do the whole trilogy of this series again on the Vita. However, after this experience and hearing that the next 2 entries in this trilogy are EVEN worse ports in terms of frame rate and controls, I might hold off. You're better off waiting for the PS4 versions to come out. Unless you want a bunch of rare trophies I would avoid Jak II and III on the Vita.

Popular Post xZoneHunter
#138 AoT I'm going to destroy them! Every last one of them on earth! Time to platinum: 82hrs AoT meets Musou. Worked surprisingly well. The gameplay did get old as expected, but it's definitely unique. You can get every trophy in about 20-25hrs but after that the grind begins. You have to make every type of gear in the game, and for most of the high level stuff you need to play true attack mode, which is really annoying to complete solo. Good thing i had a partner, @MAN3282. And completing the true attack mode with the help of some other randoms wasn't that hard anymore. The grind still took me about 50hrs to complete, so i'm glad i finally finished this. I definitely wouldn't recommend this to those who'd want to platinum it, it's not worth it. Otherwise a fun game if you like the show. @Hertz here you go, best grill ♥♥♥♥♥ Edited May 8, 2017 by xZoneHunter
Popular Post Terra
#72 - Period Cube: Shackles of Amadeus Arcadia Master! Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Time To Platinum: 1 week, 2 days Ummm...where do I begin here. I love my VN's and I am always ready for the typical Otomate cliches but with Period Cube...I had no idea where it was going. The premise is nothing new and it bears resemblance to Sword Art Online but thatch all the similarities I could find. This is the first time in a long while where the main lead is not just a damsel and her (Your) decisions greatly impact what occurs in the story. The characters...good god I could write a whole blog about them but I'll summarize them for the endings (14 possible). Overall opinion? The bad endings are the strengths. Not to say the good endings are bad, they are from it but experiencing the merry bad endings are just a tragedy to view it's....wow. If you love Otomate or are a VN buff @Satoshi Ookami, this will more then please you. I think it reaches the same level of quality as Code Realize, actually better then that, yea, this has earned a spot in my favorite VN's and in my trophy cabinet. If you want to enter the world into Visual Novel's, this is a good starting place because of it's setting. Oh did I mention the soundtrack? That battle finale music is such a haunting and beautiful piece of music. It plays at the end of every bad ending. Now I just need to find a copy of it so I can download it. The only reason this isn't a 10/10 is because of one easily predictable occurrence on one of the routes but I won't reveal that. ENDINGS RANKED FROM WORST TO BEST 14. Libera Bad Ending 13. Demento Good Ending 12. Libera Good Ending 11. Radius Bad Ending 10. Poyopoyo Good Ending 9. Astrum Good Ending 8. Zain Good Ending 7. Demento Bad Ending 6. Astrum Bad Ending 5. Radius Good Ending 4. Yes because the Vita versions are evidently inferior indeed. PS2/PS3(/PS4 ideally) run at 60FPS. Vita (like Sly's and in assumption R&C) versions are capped at 30FPS. For whatever reason, it can't stay at 30 as consistently as the PS3 version does at 60. The V-version terrible fr are noticeable at the start screen, which I, IGN, and others have noticed. People actually say a combination of J2 runs the best and JaD runs the best. I can't confirm right now which is best because I skipped J2 and instead did J3 after JaD.

Appappachai
Plat# 32 Champion of Berseria Enjoyment 9/10 Difficulty 4/10 Velvet's journey was a fun one (not for her) and the combat system was pretty good too. The only thing that makes this game even slightly difficult to plat is a couple trophies are really grindy. A Solid B and Making a Mint were pretty annoying. Also getting certain bosses to use their mystic artes got pretty annoying. If going for the plat, I would recommend 2 playthroughs. Now onto Berserk's Platinum, maybe. Or maybe something less grindy first. Like Telltale's Batman

I played Jak II on the Vita late last year and while it was no where near as good as it was on the PS2/PS3 it was still playable enough. There is also a secrets glitch that will give you invincibility and ammo which makes the game somewhat easier to complete, see the forum on the game for details if your interested. Have not managed to go back and do Jak III myself yet but someday I will.

Popular Post Icebrand1270
118. Peggle 2 5/7/2017 I now have 24 Consecutive Months with a Platinum Trophy!!! Peggle is as colorful a puzzle game as they get. Aim the ball and ricochet off pegs and bricks, earn bonuses and extra balls, get high scores and so on. There are also 5 "Masters" who give you special abilities. The trophies are no picnic, however. There are trials and optional objectives that will test any player. There is also DLC that adds extra stages and trials as well as "Masters". The toughest trophy is hitting all 180 optional objectives, but adding the DLC gives you 60 extra optional objectives to help you out. Shameful for both sides, yes, but I bought the DLC out of love for the game. (And the game is normally 12 dollars with the 2 DLC packs at 2 dollars each, so it all comes in at under 20 dollars. Not bad.) As I said earlier, my "Plat-A-Month Streak" is at 24 Months! My previous high before this point was 11 months. In this streak, I have increased my Plat count from 60 to 118! What an incredible run it has been! I have no illusions of continuing this streak forever, of course. Still, I shall keep this up as long as I can! What's next? No clue! Still, the fun is finding out!

Popular Post Oobedoob S Benubi
All trophies obtained - Obtained all Horizon Zero Dawn trophies. The game got much better as I played more of it. I guess it reminded me a bit too much of the bore that was Far Cry Primal at the start, I started to like the game more once I got out of the 'hunter/gatherers in a forest' setting and entered the western area of the map, and I really started to love the game when I found out more and more about "Project: Zero Dawn". Awesome game in the end, will definitely play upcoming DLC (if it's story related and not just challenges or something) and sequel. Also, euhm, Platinum #35 since apparently that's what we're doing here.

Popular Post madbuk
#193 - Steins;Gate Sky Clad Observer This game was far better than I was expecting. I was expecting some incredibly overhyped niche weeb game, but it was only $2.99 so I figured I'd give it a shot. Definitely the best VN I've played so far, the characters were all good (although the main character's fantasies were rather grating at times) and the overall plot, while it does start slow, was worth the read. Christina was my favourite character, but that's about all I'll say since this is a VN and you can't really discuss it without spoiling stuff. Steins;Gate 0 has made it into my wishlist and I highly recommend this game to anyone who hasn't played it yet and isn't opposed to VN games. There's a lot of reading, but it's worth it.

Amazing story, game just keeps evolving as you progress. Good pacing. Immersive, makes you want to finish the whole game in one sitting. Sidequests are not repetitive and some contain important clues to the lore (and future lore) if you pay attention. One of the best open worlds I have played! Popular Post demonoutcast
#42 - Mafia II Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Had alot of fun returning to this one, Mafia III's DLC left me pretty disappointed so I had the courage to go out and buy this again. I was pretty suprised to find a Directors Cut at gamestop since I'm usually given the base game but in the end it made everything easier; WALTER HOD ROD FTW! The soundtrack for this game is fantastic ranging from Instrumental Ragtime to Classic Rock N Roll, about 90% my playthroughs had the radio bumping because of how catchy the music was. There's nothing more satisfying than racing down the Grand Upper Bridge with Richie Valens - Come on Let's Go playing in the background. Collecting wanted posters was the only downfall to it (There are 159 total); If you have a fast car then it's not a big deal, other than that everything else is pretty easy. Popular Post Pershing24
Got two platinum's this week. #27 Tales From The Borderlands We Had Fun, Didn't We? I knew I was going to beat my milestone for fastest platinum, and Tales From The Borderlands was a perfect candidate, since its a pretty straight forward platinum and of course really easy like most Telltale games. The story started off well, then drag out for a while in the middle, but finally ended with a giant Megazoid combat against the vault guardian with all your comrades was pretty awesome. Can't say though that it feels like an authentic Borderlands games because of the game play, but at least they got its sense of humor right, plus I haven't played a Borderland game since the second one. That said though this is still not my favorite Telltale games, but it was more enjoyable than Batman. #28 Infamous Second Son Enjoy Your Powers This game was way overdue for the platinum, not just it was one of the first game I've got for my PS4 but I was not initially aware of how easy this platinum was. Unlike the previous Infamous games, which were somewhat difficult (especially the first one) Infamous Second Son is pretty straight forward. Beat the campaign with evil karma, complete all side activities, find everything on the map, then I've replay it on expert difficult to get good karma. My only mistake was that during my first play through I mixed my choices around to get a more neutral ending, but there is no such thing as neutral in this game. So iI've just made it this much harder for myself to get good Karma to level 5 at the end. Never the less this is a great game, the characters are all likeable, the game play is really solid and the game has age well for an early Next-gen game like Killzone Shadowfall.
