Popular Post Greenshyguy
#79 - Persona 5 Legendary Phantom Thief Difficulty: 6/10 Score: 9/10 A definite GOTY contender for me ... closely tied with NieR: Automata. Loved the transition scenes into/out of battle, the Japanese culture context and storyline (light hearted humour, chapters which fit into a bigger picture ... and a nice twist near the end). Only issue I have is the grind. Decided on a blind first playthrough and *just* missed the confident trophy (~100hrs). Raced through a second playthrough (~35hrs), but just doesn't have the same impact since you essentially have no control over the linear storyline.
Popular Post Arceus130
#119 - World of Final Fantasy This was, in my opinion, a great anniversary title for the series, especially since I'm a fan of both Final Fantasy and Pokemon (whoever thought to add that in deserves a raise). There were quite a few nostalgic moments (especially for fans of FFX), and the fact that you could choose between ATB or pure turn-based gameplay was a big plus. The game was still a bit too easy (I preferred playing pure turn-based, and any difficulty spikes can be easily dealt with by power leveling), but that didn't detract from the enjoyment for me. The only two things that I didn't like were the lack of any sort of treasure tracker (you need to find all of the treasure chests for a trophy) and one of the minigames that has to be beaten essentially flawlessly in order to get a specific creature (there is a good strategy for it, but it also still has a big luck factor). This doesn't quite satisfy my FF itch (hopefully playing through FF7 will do that for me), but it was a lot of fun to play. Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 (postgame grinding is never that fun)

Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat #85: Destroy All Humans! Another PS2 to PS4 classic to add to my platinum collection. A little bit of a grind at the end of the game but overall a good reminder of part of teenage years. Anyways lucky #13th platinum of this year.

Popular Post PooPooBlast
#69 - Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments A really fun game if you look past its performance issues like chugging framerates. I played it on last gen though and was cheaper by $4 than to get it on ps4 . The cases were well made with lots of thought and pathways put into it. The voice actor for Sherlock was spot on imo and he nailed the accent. I look forward to playing the Devil's Daughter eventually! What was creepy and cool in the last case is that it takes place during Victoria day celebrations which is today in Canada! Lol I even heard fireworks outside of my house as Sherlock mentioned that the shots were fired during the fireworks to conceal the noise O.o My favourite cases had to be the first one along with the 4th one. I love me a good murder story! Edited May 22, 2017 by poopooblast

I started working towards this goal after loving Assassin's Creed II so much back towards the end of 2014, and it has been a very fun journey. There honestly wasn't a single game that I disliked - Chronicles got a bit repetitive, but it was still a good game. It's actually feels kind of sad to be done... I always had an AC game to look forward to, and now there's nothing... I hope that the next AC game is this year instead of next year, because even though I'm somewhat hesitant to be incredibly hyped, since the game appears to be changing the formula a bit too much imo, I can't wait to jump back into this series. This has easily become my favourite videogame franchise. That used to be Tomb Raider, but then the 2013 game happened and now it's just an above average third person shooter, which isn't what the series should be. Assassin's Creed however has always stuck to what it does best, and I hope that never changes. It would be sad to see it lose its way like Tomb Raider has (or be outright killed like other Ubisoft franchises. I miss Prince of Persia.) I honestly can't recommend these games enough, especially the Ezio games. It's a shame they didn't remaster Assassin's Creed III since Revelations ends on a cliffhanger, and newcomers won't get to have closure unless they still own a PS3. I wish I hadn't waited so long to try this franchise out so that I could've experienced yearly releases alongside everyone else, I was only around for Syndicate before that schedule was thrown out I loved Tomb Raider 2013 and Rise of the Tomb Raider, and very much look forward to the third game. Prince of Persia is indeed missed

Popular Post Lars
#99: Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments This could have been very enjoyable, but i'm always afraid to miss stuff and therefore i always use a guide for games like these which completely ruins it. Because you read the guide you know the plot, so there are no surprises. No creative thinking which is exactly what this game wants you to do. Therefore i'm going to try The Devil's Daughter by myself without a guide, because that game is much more forgiving. This one isn't, without a guide this would have been a much rarer platinum because the cases sometimes have some twists that you don't see coming and a lot of missable conclusions that you have to set up But i got a new location on my wishlist of places to visit because of this game, i looked up the Kew Gardens and now i really want to go there, looks absoluty stunning. Popular Post markcavan
#141 - de Blob 2 on PS3 (18th plat of 2017) - 7.54% VERY RARE Overall this game is fun and enjoyable enough with nothing too difficult if you are going for a platinum however the game has some major design flaws IMO. Each level is surprisingly big taking well over an hour to complete, that in itself is not a problem but their in no good in game save option meaning that it auto saves at various points. Add on top of that a large collectible system in each level which if you even miss 1 you need to reply the whole level again from scratch to get. The S rank scores can be a pain as you don't know until you finish and exit a level if you have got a S rank or not and some levels you can drop short by just a few points, meaning a whole level play though again. Be aware and check on-line what the scored needs to be before existing a level. Finally, if playing on normal difficultly, which is needed for a trophy, the clock timer makes the game frustrating as you cannot just explore and enjoy or you'll run out (there is a code to add extra time which makes this more manageable). Anyhow, I'm glad to be done with this game and overall even with the frustrations I'll look back fondly enough on it. Overall 5/10 enjoyment with a 5/10 for difficultly Edited May 22, 2017 by markcavan

Popular Post Rodow_
#20 - Tekken 6 Difficulty : 3,5/10 Fun : 6/10 My 20th platinum ! A fun fact is that it was my first PS3 game... But I didn't do trophies. And when I did, I was sh*t, story mode was so hard for me... But it's easy in fact lol... I finished realy quick. The most difficult was to beat Alisa and Devil Jin. And Nancy of course, but it was easy with Devil Jin ! I'm a huge fan of Tekken, but this one is really not my favorite... I prefer TTT2 in PS3 ! (and Tekken 3 and 5 of course). I did all Tekken games in 100% Need to wait for Tekken 7, can't wait !!!

Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 I definitely agree about the guide ruining one's enjoyment. Though what I did to make it more mysterious was that I played a case till I got all of the clues, and deduced as much as I thought I could and if I've used up all of the clues, I try to formulate my own ideas about who did the crime. THEN, I check a guide before finishing a case to make sure I didn't miss anything and to conclude the case properly. Lol I only got one correct case without using a guide. I suck >.<

Popular Post Razza
# 164 Spec Ops: The Line Legion Of Merit - Unlock All Trophies Do you feel like a hero yet? Yet another game down from my PS3 backlog and brings me to 5 platinums on my challenge I set for myself for before the release of Crash Bandicoot Remake Spec Ops: The Line lets you be in command of Captain Walker on his mission with fellow soldiers Adams and Lupo on there mission which sees them make there way through a storm riddled Dubai on a rescue mission to evacuate survivors and to find what is left of the Damned 33rd unit. Overall the trophies for the game aren't too challenging including the infamous FUBAR difficulty (Best name ever for a difficulty ) and managed to blitz through most of it without too much of a struggle, apart from chapter 13 which took me over an hour to get past on bit I would reccomend that if yo haven't played this game yet then please give it a go as it has some extremely memorable moments and Nolan North's voice acting in this is on point yet again in another game
Popular Post MStalker58
#151 Destroy All Humans! My last plat involved smashing aliens as Duke Nukem so I figured it would only be fair to do some role reversal and have aliens wipe out humanity. Never played the original back on PS2 so I was glad to get the chance to pick this up in the THQ Humble Bundle. The game has some flaws (it crashes a lot) but I liked it more than I expected. Who doesn't enjoy sucking out brains or dropping nukes from a UFO to demolish entire towns into piles of rubble?

Tearaway Unfolded is like a grown-up version of its Vita counterpart, and it's grown up beautifully! The game continues to be highly adorable and the cuteness is sometimes too much to handle however, it also continues to be easy to the point it's not as enjoyable as it could be. Still, it's a beautiful, unique, creative and adorable game and I am glad I went through it
Popular Post gary_danial
#401: MX VS ATV Supercross Encore Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Quite enjoyed this game. Thanks to Humble Bundle, there's a lot of players to boost for the nightmare 'To The Victor' trophy which requires 12 players. Although it's still a nightmare to get everyone together and the server's condition is also not helping with the process. Regardless, we still managed to get through it. Overall, still pretty fun experience.
