Popular Post zeldagate13
#94: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt The journey is over after nearly two months. One of my favourite games of all time, of course. My first playthrough was on Death March (which became very doable after the 10th level), doing everything except the cards and some other missables. I think it took me 120 hours (90+30, something like that) to get the platinum. I can't wait to start the two expansions and I'm really looking forward for the Gwent game later this year.

Popular Post TheFalseDeity
#23 - Watch Dogs 2 Graduation Day Win every trophy Definitely preferred being taken to a screen rather than having to move around buildings for the network hacking segments and the antagonists were a few steps down but outside of that a notable improvement over the first game. Especially with the good characters. Liked them all especially Wrench and i want his mask. Trophies are all easy and the majority of the non story ones can be snagged in about an hour. Slight issue with an MP one as they often redirect your request for Bounty Hunter to something entirely unrelated but you can just keep re requesting until you get whats needed.

whoadreader
#183 - Crawl A pretty fun game, could see it being quite enjoyable in local multiplayer too. The clean up was a bit annoying since you've got to find a bunch of randomly generated pieces of scenery, some of which are quite rare and one of which is really glitchy.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
A few more quick overviews: Platinum # 83: Mr. Massagy (April 27th, 2017) Difficulty: 1/10 Excitement: 3/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 1 Hour From the creators of My Name is Mayo, the easiest platinum in existence, comes Mr. Massagy, a dating game that is slightly more difficult. Still it is piss easy, that you have to wonder why games much more difficult do not have a platinum. The way this game (or dating simulator) works is you play a very macho, sexy, strong, knock out guy. Your smartphone is basically a dating app. You date a girl, go through dialogue choices, win or lose her and receive a score based on how well you did. Certain girls prefer specific settings, so you have to change your settings in your dating app. Date another girl, rinse and repeat. This is the entire game right here. Girls range from your standard Anime female to an alien disguised as a female, to a Mayo jar (the creators couldn't leave that out), to a female image plastered on a pillow. There are things in Mr. Massagy that are just wrong, and that's probably what these guys intended the game to be. If you don't mind trophies being handed to you, play Mr. Massagy. Otherwise don't bother. Platinum # 84: Nubla (May 3rd, 2017) Difficulty: 1/10 Excitement: 5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 1 Hour This was an interesting title. Nubla, before My Name is Mayo came around, was probably the easiest platinum. Few games have such a short length with such easy trophies as Nubla. My Name is Mayo and Mr. Massagy are both easier, but I would argue that they're not necessarily games as they are doing short, simple tasks with no real meaning or purpose, no rhyme or reason. Nubla has a purpose and a reason, and is an actual game that can be enjoyed by many. Nubla is an adventure beginning in the halls of the Thyssen museum. You can play a boy or a girl. At the start there are portraits where paintings should be, but they are all blank. You follow a boy who takes you to various places, and in these places are simple, yet effective puzzles that you must solve in order to progress. If you are an art enthusiast or are somebody who draws and paints in their spare time, I would definitely give Nubla a try. The game features soothing background music and visuals heavily inspired by watercolor paintings. It takes works of art that you've probably seen at a museum or two and puts them to life. Nubla plays and appreciates the art. The platinum image for this game definitely shows what it entails. It was a very brief but enjoyable experience. This game is only the first chapter, and I hope to see the developers take this creative and artistic style and push it forward for the next game. Nubla doesn't offer a whole lot of gameplay, and the price tag is a bit much for most people. Art appreciation is sadly in short supply, and I hope other developers look at this game and see the creative vision of the world of art. Platinum # 85: Jazzpunk (May 6th, 2017) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 3 Hours Jazzpunk is a single player, first person adventure game developed by Necrophone Games. You play as Polybank, a mute protagonist tasked from an espionage agency to infiltrate a Soviet consulate. Eventually he has to find a man called The Editor. The Editor, as it turns out, is the main antagonist of the game. Along the way, Polybank completes missions that are very bizarre and almost outright ridiculous. This is in relation to Adult Swim, known for their late night block on Cartoon Network featuring cartoons very bizarre and poking fun at old references like Scooby Doo. When you first start up the game, Jazzpunk plays out like an old 1960s spy show (RIP Roger Moore), much to the likes of The Man From U.N.C.L.E and the numerous James Bond films. This game is so hilarious and weird at times I don't want to spoil many of the antics and references that take place. To name a few, you can fight a car (yes, an actual car) in Street Fighter II fashion. There is a Space Invaders like mini-game you have to play to get past a certain point. There is Frogger, where you need to hop across a road with passing cars to retrieve an item. Then there is Virtual Boy, that failed 1995 Nintendo console that was meant to take a player in virtual reality. Here you need to play against The Editor in a tennis match, with bright red graphics which were the trademark of the Virtual Boy console. I was pretty surprised with Jazzpunk. The game offers a variety of pop culture references, antics and gags that poke fun at the game. It was a delight to experience some of the old arcade games within the game, all of which I played at some point or another 20+ years ago. Jazzpunk was heavily influenced by older television shows, movies and games, and it shows. The unique, goofy cartoon style of Jazzpunk is accompanied by music with a composed style common in the 1950s and 1960s. It's more than a bland first person adventure game. Jazzpunk blended references, antics and styles into one, and that is probably the main reason why it has achieved mild success. Like with Nubla, I feel the price tag for Jazzpunk is a bit too much. If you have money to spare and are willing to try something different, give Jazzpunk a spin. The trophies are easy and you should have no problem with a guide. Definitely worth your while just to interact with everything the game has to offer. Edited May 24, 2017 by Spaz

Popular Post Masamune
Hong Kong Legend Earn all the Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition trophies to unlock this platinum trophy. This was definitely a fun game, much more so than I was expecting (I actually regret not looking into it in it's PS3 days). This game kicks Grand Theft Auto's ass (although to be fair, I only ever played 3 & Vice City, & that was over a decade ago). I haven't done the DLC stuff yet (I usually don't care much about it since it has nothing to do with the plat), but I will for this one (the Definitive Edition has it pre-installed anyways). I definitely recommend checking this one out if you haven't yet. I started this & Steins;Gate (Vita) about the same time, thinking I'd kinda go back & forth playing them... but I ended up putting most of my time into this (I don't even think I'm past chapter 3 on Steins;Gate yet). Popular Post playdemos1
#96 - Stories: The Path Of Destinies Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficulty: 6/10 (the grinding is by far the most sh*tty thing I have done in a while) Almost 3 months to plat this b*tch, really 24 endings without "checkpoints"? 24 endings that are almost all the same? The gameplay is enjoyable, the best thing the game have but the game itself is boring, got tired of the 5 levels that the game have and the narrator that feels cringe. The trophies are not that bad but since you need to complete the game 25 times plus grind because I think that's impossible to get to level 45 by doing everything ( I think that the devs didn't even played their games otherwise they would knew that this is stupid). ... See ya soon, again... I hope, if Fallout 4 gets the 100% in the f*cking settlement!
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Finally caught up with my most recent: Platinum #86: Heavy Fire: Afghanistan (May 9th, 2017) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement: 4/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 5 Hours Heavy Fire: Afghanistan to me is the equivalent to getting bad seafood from a shady Mexican vendor. It looks alright but further examination shows it was poorly cooked, with no real flavor or taste. If Battlefield 1 was the golden standard for chef quality, then Heavy Fire is your average McDonalds take order meal. Only the french fries are cold and stale, and the bun on your Mcdouble is rock hard from sitting out all day. That is Heavy Fire. Heavy Fire is an on rails arcade shooter developed by Teyon in 2011. It plays out like the old Konami arcade shooters and the House of the Dead series. Your soldier automatically moves from location to location, shooting down Afghans in cheesy 1990s fashion. Ammo crates and health pickups occasionally show up in select locations, you have to "shoot" them to retrieve them. Goofy I know, but it's the way the game works, you can't go over and pick them up like you would in any other military first person shooter. You are a soldier sent to Afghanistan to complete a series of missions. Missions as I expected gradually become more difficult, and once you're done with them after two hours of play you unlock 'Veteran' difficulty, which is exactly the same missions again with enemies that shoot faster and added effects (sun blinding the game screen, a cave too dark to see without a flashlight). Was this really necessary? Instead of adding more missions with more variety, you're just repeating the same missions twice with the exact same layouts. Once I completed the game and got the platinum I forgot almost the entire story. Basically it's a story somebody probably wrote in one day and it clearly shows. The acting is awful, and while I understand this is a cheesy arcade shooter, the least I expected was a bit more emotion with the characters. Your character is dull, boring and speaks in one tone. There is no reason for me to care. The story sucked and quite frankly this game felt like a cash in. As you unlock trophies you get promoted, going from a lowly private all the way to a top general. By the time you get to be a top general you have the platinum, so what was the point of gaining promotions? You're doing the exact same thing as a general as you did when you were a private. Were the promotions to gain scores? I don't really see anybody caring about score comparison, especially when it's a cheap arcade on rails shooter like Heavy Fire: Afghanistan. I personally didn't expect much out of this game, but I would strongly advise waiting for a sale before you pick this up. The Heavy Fire bundle is more bang for your buck, both games are easy platinums and neither offer any replayability. It's pretty medicore at best. Platinum #87: Albedo: Eyes From Outer Space (May 21st, 2017) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement: 4/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 3 Hours Rather medicore first person adventure game. Like Heavy Fire, Albedo is the equivalent of bad seafood. The one positive is it's a good bit easier than Heavy Fire: Afghanistan, but that doesn't excuse Albedo: Eyes From Outer Space from being a crappy game meant for trophy whores. I am most certainly guilty of buying certain games just for the platinum, and Albedo is one of the strongest examples. You play as a watchman knocked unconscious. You find yourself in a basement trapped by an alien. You don't know why there are aliens on Earth, and what their goal is. All you know is you need to fight for your survival. Albedo puts you into rooms that require some puzzle solving to get past. This is standard for old point and click games and even some more recent adventure titles. But perhaps the game's strongest point and weakest point is the ability to outright skip it's more "challenging" puzzles. Can't figure out how to solve the lockpick puzzle? Just outright skip it with the L2 button. This is proof you are playing a game with barely any challenge (except for one part which I'll explain), as long as you're reading a guide Albedo pretty much hands you trophies. Like Heavy Fire, it is a game that appeals to trophy whores. There are references to 1960s Sci-Fi films and movies, and even an old platformer (Commander Keen) as you discover Dopefish ("Dopefish Was Here"). While these were amusing, it didn't help me from seeing Albedo as being rather medicore. Later on there is a section in the game where you fight off aliens using a shotgun. While I wasn't expecting good aiming and shooting as one would find in games like Battlefield 1 and Uncharted 4, I was at least expecting the aiming to be somewhat serviceable. The shooting is awful. I found myself struggling to aim onto the aliens as you often miss due to the poor mechanics. You're simply running around a circular platform as you fight off the aliens until the game decides to end the battle. It felt completely unnecessary in what is otherwise just an adventure game where you go from room to room solving puzzles. The protagonist has a little more emotion than the one in Heavy Fire, so I do give credit to the developers for that. Unfortunately Albedo has several faults, some of which I won't explain because I'm sure most people know what they're getting into when they buy this game. The price tag is far too high for a game like this that is poor and can be fully completed in just a couple hours. I do not recommend buying this at it's current price. Wait for a sale, but even then you might feel a little shameful for buying Albedo. Platinum #88: Full Throttle Remastered (May 22nd, 2017) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement: 9/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 3 Hours Full Throttle Remastered is a single player point and click adventure game developed by LucasArts. You play as Ben, the leader of a biker gang called the Polecats. He is framed for murder and must work on seeking to clear both his name and his gang's names. What follows is classic, enjoyable LucasArts humor and gameplay. First impressions of this game for me were a bit different than the ones I had gotten on the older LucasArts game. I never played Full Throttle as a kid, partly due to the fact that my family did not have a computer with a CD-ROM drive. Full Throttle was the first game to be released only on CD-ROM, and I unfortunately missed out. The game takes on a slightly different approach to point and click. Whereas older Lucasarts games had an inventory and interaction system that took up a third of the screen, Full Throttle features a contextual pie menu, which I found to be a bit more convenient and very necessary for modern players. It is a well designed system that both old school and modern day players can easily use. As someone who grew up on 1990s cartoons, Full Throttle was a delight with the characters. Voice acting veterans Mark Hamill and Kath Soucie both do a great job in playing their characters with a sense of humor and appeal. In my opinion though, Roy Conrad offers the best performance. He does an outstanding job as Ben, playing a character with a grave, sternly voice, yet instantly likeable the moment you first hear him. Roy in my view was someone who really took the time and dedication to admire their work, and unfortunately I think that is in very short supply in today's world. Even worse, he died of lung cancer in 2002. Much like Tony Jay, Roy Conrad was an individual who from my point of view loved to appreciate life. It's a real shame he's gone. The game's animation does well for the game. On-motorcycle action sequences, while they could of been better refined, were a delight as I was knocking rival members of rival gangs out of their bikes. Full Throttle feels more like an actual animated movie playing out, which was a feat at a time when video games were mostly 2-D and blocky with jagged animations. My one major complaint is the game is too short. Full Throttle can be completed in less than a hour, but for nostalgic purposes I decided to play the game at a slower pace to admire the animation, visuals, and the funny humor courtesy of LucasArts games. The soundtrack for Full Throttle is very good. Some of the tunes feel in line with an animated movie of the 1990s, while others are very much like the ones heard in the older LucasArts games. All of the tunes were a delight to hear, including ones from The Gone Jackals. Using externally recorded music was another feat, as nearly all games of that time period relied on in-house recording, and were restricted to the platforms (PC, consoles) they were designed for. All in all, Full Throttle was a real treat to play through. It's not my most nostalgic LucasArts game (that would have to go to Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2), but it is an adventure title every fan should experience. It's easy and amusing, and you might even have a laugh at one or two parts. Highly recommend, if only to try a critically acclaimed point and click adventure that continues to draw an audience to this day. Popular Post Pershing24
#29 Titanfall 2 Mark of the Advocate (Welcome to the 6-4) Its one thing getting a satisfying platinum trophy, but finishing a game that was much better than excepted, that's another bonus. Titanfall 2 was both enjoyable and difficult to beat, especially on master difficulty and getting the Hat Trick trophy at the same time. Also the notorious trophy ....Becomes Master is one that you can't get on the first try, probably took me a few dozens or more tries to get it. Thanks to StrickenBiged video guide, I manage to get my final time of 32.80 seconds on the gauntlet. The campaign of the game is more than just a generic FPS story. It's easy to follow, the game play is fast and solid and decently long. I do like the game's villains as they all have different personally instead of blank AI. Instead we have an Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonator, and Android named Ash and the flying Titan Viper that enjoys his role too much. Viper: Your Journey ends here, Pilot - the skies belong to me. Nowhere to run…. Nowhere to hide. So corny yet also badass. And finally there's BT-7274 and his pilot Cooper who really are a good duo, they have alot of funny moments. This one's my favorite lines. Cooper: BT. I found Anderson. He’s……..uh.. in the ceiling. BT: Objective complete. We have rendezvoused with Major Anderson. Cooper: That’s cold, BT. BT: Correct. Anderson’s current temperature is 17 degrees Celsius, below the threshold of human survival. Great Platinum, great Game. Going to the Cabinet for now, and on to Number 30. I think it will be Battlefield 1. Edited May 29, 2017 by Pershing24

Popular Post Hanzoadam
#188 Ghost Recon WildlandsMaster of the Wildlands Collected all the trophies. Enjoyment: 6-7/10 Difficulty: 3-4/10 (time consuming and tedious mop up) Time: Guessing 40-50 Hours maybe Hated this game when I first started but slowly got into it. The games not a hard platinum just very time consuming as theres a large area but kinda chipped off at it here and there, there were some trophies that had worried about, the online ones for one as I dont usually do online. and there were 2 for get 7 kills with 1 mine and 1 C4, which wasnt easy but luckily stranded across a place to get it done though it took a few tries. I think the biggest problem I had was there is a ton of collectables which didnt bother me too much it was just time consuming, as there are a lot a lot of them, in forms of a ton of documents, weapons and skill points. I think the largest problem I had was the end of getting every skill which required a massive grind/farm to get resources, and sadily when I got to this stage It looks like the expliots were patched ¬_¬ so took ages, But finalyl did it last night. Would recomend the game if you like sandbox open world and dont mind going back a forth for collectables but I enjoyed it.
Popular Post Maxximum
#12 Tomb Raider: Legend Master of Tomb Raider: Legend Earn all the trophies in Tomb Raider: Legend So, this is a REMASTERED version from PS2 and it's a damn great game. I'm sure this is my first plat from a game, whereby the protagonist is a female only. Lara Croft is very active and a good character. She is quite more acrobatic than Uncharted's Nathan Drake . Her dual pistols make her hard to kill. The story was fun and awesome, but short. I hated the fact that you could use cheats to make the game easier. The last boss wasn't hard at all, not sure why some people in the threads were asking for tips . Collecting Rewards was also fun. There were Gold, Silver and Bronze Rewards. The Gold Rewards were hidden very well. I had gone finishing the story without even collecting one . That was until I had to look up on the collectibles guide. My favorite part of this platinum were the Time Trials. Each level had its timer and counted down. I died at some parts, but I dealt with them anyway . My favorite outfit was "Amanda". I loved the the white hair and the clothes she wore. I would love to thank Stella's guides at the tombraiders.net website for helping me with the collectibles and level walkthroughs. Could not have platted this without his guides. Next up is probably Tomb Raider: Underworld.
Popular Post Tanuzomi
#90: The Caligula Effect Total Trophy Acquisition! Acquired all other trophies. Like said before; The game was very unbalanced with it's enemy, XP, difficulty ratio and the story... LMAO... Oh the game was btw. not hard just because I mentioned here difficulty.. it was a joke to be more correct. The story could be done in 1 day or a maximum of 2 days; no joke I was done with 35h while spending a lot of time with all these 512NPC to meet to get the mysteries prepared and such... the rest of the game; You will love the most... You will spent around roughly estimated 65 hours or even more hours of grinding in this game just because of the LV100 trophy... (normally Lv 70 would be the thing u need for certain mobs for the required quest for the mysteries... lel) So I spent my time after I hit 35 ingame hours with level up fun until I got the plat around 105h later... wow... I srsly prefer to pick a game with a story lenght like this rather than a game which get unnecessary long only for a lv up time like this for the plat... So recommending this one? ONLY; if you are so bored for the long lv up fun, if you get it in a sale cheap (The game is not worth the full price...) and if u resist a flat story, with horrible characters and more horrible game OST.. other than this.. it was ok... not great or wonderful just a solid: OK.
