Bartolomeus
-- 35th platinum Assassin's Creed II (PS4) When the Ezio Collection went on sale some time back, I just couldn't hold back. Assassin's Creed II used to be my favourite AC game back in the day, and as I replayed the PS3 version a year back I was nervous to see how well it compared to more recent AC games, only to find that it indeed still is my favourite in the series. After delivering my BA essay I felt like starting a new game, and ACII felt like the right one. Still a fun and enjoyable game! The differences between the PS3 and PS4 versions were not many. A graphical upgrade for sure, but it obviously doesn't compare to new games. The game is still pretty, though, as it was on PS3. I think this is one of the reasons why I love this game so much - all of the places look so great. Sure, Paris was beautiful in Unity, but I just love running on the roofs of Firenze and roaming the streets of Venezia, climbing the towers of San Gimignano etc. Besides, the plot is quite simple and enjoyable, with missions such as the competitions for winning a ticket to a highly esteemed ball hosted by no other than Il Doge. Of course nostalgia plays a part too, but let's not dwell on that. It's a great game, also on PS4.
Popular Post JaM
#176 Knack Ultimate Knack Received all trophies Knack Knack Who's There? Someone who might not get Knack 2. Well, when I started the game, I was actually amazed how it looks, it looks sooo good and was pretty impressed with the graphics knowing that it is one of the first game released on PS4. And then I played it for the next few hours... it felt so repetitive... then boring... then annoying... then frustrating. The gameplay became repetitive to me when I was not even halfway done with the story. Like, the stuffs you learned for the first 2 chapters are all the stuffs you will use 99% of the time. Sure there were these different modes, but then you could, like, only use it on 2 stages. There was not even a way to deflect projectiles Then there's the story and characters And let's not even talk about these RNG based collectibles. Hmmm.. in the end, I think enjoyed playing Knack's Quest more than Knack. *shrug* The only positive things I could say about the game is the graphics is sooo good and it somehow relieves anger that I am somehow feeling inside after clearing a chapter (well, the primary cause were cheap deaths in the game anyway). I have seen the trailer of Knack 2 and even the gameplay looks waaaay much better than the first game, still unsure if I will get it in the future...why can't we just have Puppeteer's sequel instead??? Popular Post Aranea Highwind
Tekken 7 I'll Get Everything Back! Acquired all trophies. Quite enjoyable game and way easier to platinum, compared to Tekken 6. The story mode could have been better considering this was the "final Mishima" saga chapter. The single player experience is not as a huge like on previous titles but there's enough variety to keep you busy for a while.
Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#47 The Order 1886 Difficulty 1/10 Fun 7/10 Recommend?: Yes, for under $10 This game wasn't as fun as I was hoping, but it wasn't a bad game. The shooting was well-polished, the scientific weapons were pretty cool, and I found the story overall enjoyable. The 2 things that really brought this game down was the length (obviously) and the QTEs. People can TRY and argue that there wasn't THAT many QTEs in the game, but for a story that can easily be beaten in under 5 hours. The amount of game to QTE ratio is just way to high. Not to mention that the final boss fight is pretty much just bashing R2, then going straight into a QTE. I really wish they would have focused on fleshing out the story more and explain how the rebels came to be or would have thoroughly explained why they hate each other so much. To me it felt like the rebels could have solved this whole situation with a phone call. And FYI, the first phone was invented in 1876, so yes, it's possible!
Popular Post madbuk
#200 - Furi Platinum Trophy This game was a lot of fun... on Furi. But then you get to Furier and some of the bosses, namely The Line and The Burst, are too bullshit to be fun. The rest of the bosses on Furier were okay, but I still preferred their Furi counterparts because those were a lot fairer. I actually quite enjoyed the speedrun mode, was probably the best part of the experience. It was set to Furi difficulty, and there was no walking in between bosses. Overall, The Edge was my favourite boss (I sucked at him quite badly on my first run before I learned how parrying works) and The Burst was my least favourite. Fuck The Burst. The soundtrack in this is great, and the sound design is even better - there's a very noticeable audio cue that tells you when you should parry something, which is a godsend as relying on the animation/white spark is a tad unreliable. The audio cue though? Never failed me. I also liked parrying in this game because you didn't have to anticipate what direction the attack is coming from like in Metal Gear Rising, you just had to press a button instead. If I actually had to anticipate where the attacks would be coming from this might have been quite a bit more challenging. The story didn't really interest me that much, I stopped paying attention after a few boss fights. A lot of people take issue with the walking in between bosses, and while I did say I liked that that was cut out of speedrun mode, I do appreciate the walking sections in the main game to cool off and steel myself for the next boss. If it was constant back-to-back fighting Furier would've been a bit more stressful lol. Like I've said in other threads, phenomenal game. Tied with The Witcher 3 for best game of this gen. Easily my 2017 GOTY since I know there's not a single game coming out this year that's even coming close to Persona 5. And if there is, I can't wait to play that game lol
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#148 Tekken 6 I finally went back and finished off this platinum before I start playing Tekken 7. It's a great fighting game although I must say that i preferred Tekken Tag Tournament 2 which is my favorite Tekken game of all time as things stand. I gave up chasing this platinum a while back because of that silly Nightmare Train level. I got frustrated and decided that it wasn't worth my time. The imminent release of Tekken 7 made me want to revisit this game and finish off the platinum. That level is still ridiculous though. Even with Rank S and Rank A gear equipped, still found it tough. I'm glad I went back and got it done though ☺️ I'm looking forward to getting started on Tekken 7 now ?

Popular Post Sergen
Red Dead Redemption Platinum #93 (100% DLC Included) Time Taken: 80 Hours Approx Difficulty: 3/10 A nice new ultra rare platinum for me, it's about time I did this one. The online servers for this game have been utterly ruined and have issues connecting to lobbies and in some cases other people appear invisible in the lobby which stops Kingpin (DLC Trophy) from being possible in that lobby. I did the online first for the game and Kingpin which requires 9 players took me around 2-3 hours to earn because of people in the lobby being invisible and I had to keep taking 5 PS3s to the Land Grab spot to get it done, which was annoying. Most of the online can be done with two PS3s, which is good, but another annoying trophy to deal with is Pa-Pa-Pa-Poker Ace which requires you to win a 6 player poker game while the blinds are at maximum, this can be done as two players if everyone else in the lobby leaves the poker table but you need to sit there for around 30 minutes until the blinds get at maximum before you can win. In A Van Down By The River was another poker related trophy that was a little bit annoying because it required luck for me to get it, I just kept going all in with two PS3s until that trophy unlocked, my friend who boosted Poker Ace with me actually managed to get both trophies at the same time because he won his match with the blinds at maximum with the last card that was revealed, lucky bastard. All the co-op related stuff was quite easy for me, but I had the benefit of playing with two people who had done it before, one of them was doing it for the trophies this time around though but I must say a big thanks to Meepy- who joined us for Advanced co-op and Undead Overrun and did most of them with us on the first try. I wasn't as good as the two other people at Advanced co-op because I wasn't used to the aim being the way it was but I think with time I could have gotten used to it but I won't be playing the game again because of how crappy the servers got. Co-op also has its share of messed up glitches, in Undead Overrun there are times where the rounds begin to require you to complete them in 20 seconds, if this happens then the rest of the rounds are going to be like that so eventually there won't be enough time to complete the round that you were on but when the rounds weren't glitched, we did this mode on the first try. Advanced co-op has an issue where enemies don't spawn, but I used this to my advantage once to get the "2 guys, 1 co-op" trophy for my friend, however when you want to do a run for the Gold medal then it's not possible to do a run of a co-op mission without any enemies spawning. The single player is where the game really shines, I really liked the atmosphere of the game, the characters, the missions and so on. This game was a great game for me and I'm looking forward to Red Dead Redemption 2. I played this game back in 2011 as well but only completed the story mode once without going for trophies, but this time I went for the trophies and it's a mostly enjoyable platinum to go for. Some of the challenges might be annoying but none of them are difficult whatsoever. I managed to complete the Tomahawk challenges quite quickly and they were the challenges that I saw the most people complaining about and somehow I managed to complete Rank 3 (Kill a bird with a Tomahawk without Deadeye) done on my first attempt, I luckily got a bird to fly close above me and just threw the Tomahawk in the air and that was that. Nothing about the platinum really annoyed me to be honest, except my first time trying to win Liars Dice without losing a single die, this is a very luck based trophy but eventually the AI becomes predictable but I ended up winning a lot of Liars Dice without losing a single die when I was able to do the side mission that awards $200 for winning the Liars Dice game and you can keep repeating it at this table until you leave. Undead Nightmare was also a great DLC, normally I feel like a game is just getting greedy if they make a zombie spin-off but this DLC was done very well. The DLC does have some annoying challenges in it, such as making Chupacabra spawn and killing it, it's a luck based spawn. Getting all four horses of the Apocalypse was also luck based and I had to ride around a lot to find them. I got lucky eventually with Chupacabra when I moved on and tried to do the Undead Treasure Hunter challenges and it spawned near the mountain that the last set of treasure spawns at. I was a bit worried that getting a Unicorn to spawn was going to be another luck based grind, but I found the Unicorn very soon after taking care of Chupacabra and that felt good. I kind of wish I had more time to ride the Unicorn since it was a very nice animal to tame haha. I recommend this game to anyone who likes open world games, even if you're not fond of westerns I'd still recommend it since it's a great game and I have seen very little criticism for the single player aspect of it. Popular Post jaehyun1009
#98 - Color Guardians Legendary Win all trophies in the game! Difficulty 3/10 Score 8/10 Pretty short but fun little game that required some quick thinking on my part at times. Honestly I put this one on the back burner for a while because I heard beating the last boss without dying was really tough and it looked that way on youtube as well, but there are glitches and tricks that make this one a lot easier. The trophy list could yet have been a lot harder if it required you to 100% the game, but fortunately that's not required for the platinum. Now 2 more for the much coveted 100 platinum mark.
Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#82 We Had Fun, Didn't We? Complete Tales From The Borderlands Platinum on 2nd June 2017 (2 weeks, 6 days, 22 hours) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** My very first Telltale game happen to be one of the Instant Collection Games in May. Yeah that's right last month, I and others hop onto the 'Tales from the Borderlands' trains..... so here we go..... ..... ..... .....again? What have been said is already been said a lot time in "Most Recent Platinum" at PSNProfiles forums. Er...well, let's rotten it some more!! Funny dialogue where I have a good laugh in almost every dialog maybe the voice acting too good. I also feel the moment when friendship and kin is more important than anything else. The soundtrack of this game is very nice and in my opinion the story is pretty good too, if know or ever played the "Borderland" series will got to know the history better. Gameplay wise is a "shock" to me...yea, I know it's a "Point & Click" game but what I didn't expect is I had to make 'tough' choices in each dialog within a time limits luckily it wouldn't really matter much later in the game. So far I didn't encounter any freeze issue on PlayStation 4 cause I heard there is some unplayable issue on one or two Telltale games, only a couple of lips sync problem otherwise it was a pretty good impression on my first Telltale experience. Although it's was "Point & Click" game but the storytelling may suppress some others AAA story and I really enjoyed the hilarious moment in Tales from the Borderlands. Have to thanks Asian Plus for bringing ours very first Telltale game to PlayStation@Store. Tales from the Borderlands Platinum Video
gary_danial
#412 - Duck Dynasty Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Difficulty: 2.5/10 Despite a lot of people saying it's a bad game, I actually quite enjoyed it. However, because of those annoying boat racing trophies, I had to score low on enjoyment rating, if not I can easily give 8/10. The game itself is quite short but it is repetitive, thank goodness there are no grind trophies. The hardest trophy is definitely 'CAN'T TOUCH THIS... BOAT'. The AI is really unbalanced, if you are trailing them, they go quite slow but if you are ahead, the AI suddenly go so fast and they 'purposely' rammed you, you can get really unlucky with this trophy. Other than that, it's an okay game for me.
Popular Post Masamune
Tagmension Master You crushed MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies! "You've played a ton. Thank you so much." Another fun/easy plat (well, except for when I spent like 2 days trying to get the last 3 fragment drops... ). Don't really know how much I cared for the story though, the whole "shooting a movie" thing was a little boring imo. The story mode goes by pretty quick too, I'm sure I got more playtime out of multiplayer (which is ironic considering I played it solo... aww, I'm just like Noire ): Spoiler I probably should've switched my characters around from time to time too, just to change things up. I used Dengekiko quite a lot in Neptunia U, so I just stuck with her most of the game (didn't really feel like leveling up anyone else either). & of course the one Neptunia game where it's actually easy to raise your Lilly Rank doesn't have a trophy in it to max them all (although I guess that's still a good thing ). Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Tekken is my the most played fighting game series and it's still my favorite. I started my gaming "hobby" with Tekken 2 & Crash Bandicoot games on PS1, so obviously I had get my hands on Tekken 7 as soon as possible. I really enjoyed playing Tekken 7, even though I'm absolutely rubbish at it It's been a while since I played any Tekken games at all due to my insanely huge backlog of games, but I still remembered some of the 10-hit combos and moves of my favorite characters ^^ I'm bummed that some of my favorite characters are not in this game (mayb they're going to be part of season pass DLC?) I really wanted try out Online matches more, but atm I keep getting errors and giggles, so I have to try that later... Trophy wise; it's actually really easy list and it encourages you to try out all the modes that Tekken 7 has to offer, so it's not a bad list, but could've been bit more challenging. SPOILER ALERT! Popular Post Abbey97
Platinum #66 The Whole World Went Away Collect all other trophies. I've finally finished Dead Island! It only took me 2 years and 9 months But seriously I'm kind of confused as to why I didn't finish this before but hey ho, I did it eventually! I really enjoy the whole Dead Island series as I like the story, characters and gameplay even though it can be rather glitchy at times. I also love how your practically defenceless at the start of the game and then as you build up your character level and gain better weapons, you start to feel like you can actually survive the zombie apocalypse! It is also a very beautiful game as the island of Banoi has got lovely sandy beaches and vibrant jungles. The multiplayer is also massively fun and I spent a lot more time in multiplayer than in single player! A big shoutout and thank you should go to the team of players I boosted the multiplayer trophies with! Platinum #67 The Whole World Went Away Collect all other trophies. I finally managed to finish this one as well and this also took me 2 years and 9 months to do. In Dead Island Riptide, you find yourself on a new island after the events of the first game and you have to try and find a way to get off the island while finding out about the virus on your travels. I really enjoyed playing this second installment as I'm normally a little sceptical of sequels but this one didn't disappoint me. The story develops on the first game really nicely and it also builds on the characters that we have come to know from the first game. The gameplay is still the same but I suppose that's a case of, if it aint broke, don't fix it! A big shout out and thank you goes again to the boosting partner that helped me with the 'Dream Team' trophy. @Bootdaddy-!
