Popular Post jacks
Platinum #81 Full Throttle Remastered Full Throttle Unlock all trophies Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 1/10 with a guide, and it's a YMMV kind of thing if you go without depending on how used to this genre you are So, another Tim Schafer and Co. game that I have added to my trophy collection, I have a couple of thoughts on it. First, whether you use a guide or not doesn't seem to take away from the overall experience of the game; these games are incredibly frustrating if you aren't used to the old school way of thinking with how they handle fairly abstract solutions to some of the puzzles. I said it before when I posted about the Day of the Tentacle Remaster that I'm amazed I was able to figure some of this out before the days when GameFAQs and other earlier guide sites became readily available with the online boom. Then again, if you have never played this before, and are going in completely blind to maybe even the genre itself, prepare to run by the key you need to advance to the next scene multiple times before you have exhausted every single solution only to randomly stumble upon what you would have never have thought to be the answer you were looking for. This is not a Telltale relaxing experience. Secondly, this is the third remaster from these guys that I have played to platinum completion, and I must give props where props are due: if you ever are one to say "looks like they phoned it in for the trophy list" when looking at a trophy list, it's definitely not something you can hold against Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, or now, Full Throttle. The lists truly inspire you to see just about everything the game has to offer, and even for the long time fans like me, maybe even stumble on things or dialogue trees or certain actions on certain people or items (etc etc) you never knew were in the game, or completely forgot about after all these years. Great stuff, and the trophy tiles are beautiful, as always. Lastly, a random "fun fact" that I did not even plan: my 5000th trophy milestone will now forever be "What a Pain Threshold!" which I think is fairly aptly named for anyone who is even slightly interested in trophy hunting, and also goes nicely with my other unintentional milestone that was my 1337 trophy entitled "Patience..". Couldn't have plotted it better, and worthy of a milestone indeed. Highly recommend this game for everyone to play as a great part of video game history for the legendary LucasArts point and click genre, as well just a fantastic game to play through, no matter if you choose to play simply for trophies or fun. I just urge you not to skip the cutscenes.

Popular Post Radebe78
#101 LIFE IS STRANGE Second time around, this time as a treat from ps+...I forgot pretty much all of the things from the first time I`ve played so it was interesting enough to go for another ride! #102 Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek Solid hidden objects game, nothing too special about it. Good thing it didn`t had those annoying mahjong puzzles, those bore me to oblivion. The person who draws those items for us to look is a real sadistic artist! #103 Sniper Elite III PS4 + 100% Shoot, crush some nuts and skulls, relocate relocate relocate.....To sum it up! Thankfully I had my buddy Whyfire to back me up while we were playing on Authentic difficulty throughout co-op campaign, as well as those challenges. Other than that pretty unimaginable story and solid gameplay
Popular Post FLCLcrim2
#74 LIFE IS STRANGE What if?Unlock all other trophies from Life Is Strange Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I absolutely loved this game. I will say its starts a bit slow in Episode one but by the end I was hooked. I think this game did an amazing job with the story It was telling about this town and the problems you can cause with the choices you make. Some points I had to seriously think the choices over. Very emotional at times, the end of episode 2. Beginning, middle, and end of episode 4. Though I can understand some of the complaints with the ending, I think it comes down to how invested you are in the world and characters. Very excited for Before the storm now.

Doing the 2nd playtrought to get all the collectables was quite fun and did not made me bored suprisingly .

Popular Post snakebit10
#218 Killing Floor 2 I was really happy when this was announced to be PS plus game. For once a game was offered that I actually didn't have and I really wanted to play. Overall it Is a fairly enjoyable experience. Playing whith friends and even playing with randoms. Thanks to @DamagingRob rob for the matches we played and the trophies we earned together. Only thing I really didn't like was the grind to get to level 25 perk. Thankful for the Burning Paris map glitch to help speed things up a little.

People always complain about the challenges, expecially the wing suit ones but i actually loved them and does where the easy ones, so peacefull gliding around does rings! Its not hard at all and its a 0.4% plat on PSN! i really recommend it if you want to sink a couple of dozens hours and you dont mind a collectathon!

I was getting this along with Platinum Artist and Bladder of Steel, and around 3/4 of the way through "Testify," the game bugs out on me and turns all the audio into white noise. Metal Slime King
Modnations Racers: Road Trip I got the online portion finished awhile ago before it became an issue then let the actual game languish before getting around to cleaning it up. I'd say overall the Vita version was harder than the PS3 version just from a control perspective and how the buttons were mapped, like it is trickier on the Vita to boost during a drift, which is essential. Road Trip had a weird lock on the last round of races, having to meet time requirements on the earlier races but the PS3 version had the notorious Hot Lap trophy as a hurdle. The last (non-DLC) level on the PS3 I remember being more difficult than any of the tracks on Road Trip. Overall I liked both games and am glad to have both Plats.
Z-Yux
Platinum #21: King of Liberty City from Grand Theft Auto 3. After running into the infamous "Purple 9's" glitch in my first go-through for the Platinum, I put this game down for awhile. Recently, I decided to finally go back and finish it. Unfortunately, I had to redo some of my least favorite things in this game (vehicular Missions, some story missions that were a pain to me, etc.). Aside from that, I had a good time going through it again. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 4/10
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#67 - Spy Chameleon "All trophies earned" (dat plat trophy image though...) Congratulations! Well, here's a game I never expected I would play! I picked it up on a whim because of 2 reasons: 1) It's free on PS+, 2) A friend jokingly said I should get it. Spy Chameleon did nothing surprising or overly different from other similar top-down puzzler/stealth/time-trial hybrids, but it was definitely a fun and (mostly) polished experience. Levels got progressively more difficult; some being so full of colours and moving cones of vision that my eyes hurt. For the most part though, the level design here was creative and fun, with a variety of mechanics that kept me on my toes and required precise movement. There were some frustrating elements (such as unforgivable cones of vision edging around moving barriers that you move into place with imprecise buttons), but mostly it was very fair. The game itself was very easy to complete (taking about 2 hours for all 75 levels on my first run-through), but going for time-trials and the difficult-to-collect Ladybugs added another ~6 hours on top of that. There were probably only 5 or 6 levels that took me >10 tries to get the fastest possible time (note: the 18-minute trophy requires you to beat the 'time-trial' times by quite a large margin in each level), but others were actually surprisingly easy to rush through. As a general principle, you can run through most of the levels without stopping if you take the correct route. I ended up with 17 minutes and 40 seconds as my 'overall' time (after replaying levels from start to finish) doing the best I could, and didn't need to re-replay any Trophies match up with collectibles and time trials primarily, with a few tricky variations on levels that were actually a lot easier than I was led to believe (even the lvl 50 one only took me maybe 10 tries). At an 8-hour platinum, Spy Chameleon is a charming, cute free game that is most probably worth your time. If you hate this style of game, it won't change your mind. But give it a go, you might be pleasantly surprised! Enjoyment Rating: 8/10 Plat difficulty: 2.5/10

Popular Post dmsleight
I am hanging OCD from Day of the Tentacle on my mantle. It is my 65th ! I got it because it had a lot of hype. It was a good point and click, but I can't say that it lived up to the hype. Pick it up cheap if you get it (not terribly long and no replay value). It was a quick plat even though I have had little time to play recently.
Popular Post Sergen
Crysis 3: Platinum #94 Difficulty: 4/10 Time taken: probably over 30 hours (Thanks to shitty servers ) Rarity: 2.98% At least this secures another ultra rare platinum trophy in my collection. This game was decent, but not a great game and the platinum is quite easy. The most difficult thing about working on this platinum was the online, because the servers were horrific. The lobby had issues allowing everyone to join when the search was ongoing, which made the online take a lot longer than it was supposed to, I was expecting it to be an online that would only take a few hours and would be doable in one-sitting but it ended up taking multiple sessions and a lot of the time was spent making no progress whatsoever. I have to say a big thanks to @Paul & @xDLloyd091x who helped out with the online along the way, Lloyd did all the online trophies on an account that he has since retired but Paul was there to help out without doing any of the game himself so I appreciate his help greatly, he didn't go unrewarded though . The single player is very easy, I'd rate that as 3/10 on its own, the online just increased my opinion on the difficulty of the game because of how annoying it was to try to boost it. The most annoying offline trophy is "Suited-Up" because it requires you to get a lot of collectables then after you get all those collectables you need to grind to get the maximum level of that module, I did a lot of the grinding while trying to clean-up getting the CELL Data during chapter select though. People reported on Suited-Up being glitched if you die and reload a checkpoint because you lose the upgrade and it won't spawn again unless you restart the entire chapter, my solution to this issue was to quit to the XMB on the game if I died after collecting one, it worked and I didn't lose any upgrades. Another annoying offline trophy is Geared-Up which is reported as being a glitched trophy because weapon attachments can randomly not save if you don't pay attention, you need to select that attachment in particular when you have found it to get it to register, once again I did most of the weapon attachments through chapter select while working on getting the CELL Data so it wasn't all too bad. There's no stat tracking for the weapon attachments though, you need to check each individual weapon to even see if you have the attachment unlocked, it gets tedious. Aside from collectables and brief grinding in single player, there are a bunch of simple misc trophies to keep you entertained, all of them can be done near-enough first attempt when you go for them and don't really cause any stress. Throughout supersoldier difficulty (hardest difficulty), I basically cloaked and crouched past as many enemies as I could, I avoided conflict whenever I could because you die quite fast if you're caught, luckily the game is quite easy to stealth through, it just requires patience if you're crouching slowly to each point. If I had to fight, I activated armour and still tried to hide away from enemies, I wouldn't recommend trying to Rambo any of the game on supersoldier because it normally won't end well. Popular Post Ala-Arska
Pier Solar and the Great Architects (PS4) A long hard road Received all trophies I'm never gonna listen to Bon Jovi's 'Slippery When Wet' again. Okay, that wasn't so long or hard. About 80% of the time. The rest 20% is traumatic. Before I go and lose it with that one mini-game, a personal observation or two regarding to the actual game itself. Pier Solar is a pure 16-bit RPG made originally for Sega Genesis (in 2010, believe it or not!). And with that comes the ups and slight downs. Graphics are crisp, pretty and easy on the eyes. With well-crafted cut scenes here and there, it's overall a visually beautiful game Controls don't play an important part (except in, wait for it...), it's just moving around and doing turn based combat. Old school style! Gameplay is what stated above, with a bit higher difficulty than in SNES equivalents (FFVI, Mana, Chrono Trigger etc.). Like Lunar games, I think. Story is kind of heartfelt and melancholic, actually. Some sad, "violent" and tad disturbing actions happen, and there's also a "bad" and "good" ending Trophy wise PSatGA can be unforgiving, unless you follow a guide strictly. Lots of missables, but pay attention and it's smooth sailing. And finally, I'll get to vent my boiled up frustration with the only thing (and two trophies) that will make or break a gamer: ...The Eternal Slip Mini Game! Goddamn this piece of s**t turd motherf**king c**ksucking torture device from the deepest depths of Hell and beyond It's a slippery, lifetime-taking, sweaty, borderline uncontrollable, test of endurance (yeah yeah, I know, like shagging with the missus, har har) It took me roughly 7 hours to beat that Dante's inferno (30-ish hours for the rest of the game, nice balance...). Seven hours I'll never get back. Some might master it faster (nice, rhymes), but for me it just got worse as I nervously fumbled a slide after another. Thank God it's over If you can look past the Unfunniest Tiles Ever, Pier Solar and the Great Architects is an excellent reminder of the awesome 90's RPG's. The choice is yours
