Popular Post Arceus130
#126: Poi I used to play a lot of collectathons when I was younger, so, when I heard this described as a Super Mario 64 clone in that regard, I had to check it out. It was definitely a lot of fun as a way to kill time. The characters are fun enough to control and environments are pretty cool. That being said, don't check this out if generic collectathons aren't your thing, since Poi doesn't really offer anything aside from a nostalgia trip. Also, it is a bit buggy. Personally, I kept encountering a glitch where respawning at checkpoints for any death besides falling would make my character freeze, so I would need to exit the level entirely. It wasn't that bad except for when I was playing the NG+ (which is a challenge mode where you can only get hit once before dying), especially on the final level since there are a lot of environmental hazards. Maybe wait for a patch and/or a price drop. Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 7/10
Popular Post Inuty
#60 Uncharted: Golden Abyss (PS Vita) Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3 Time: 25-35 hours Finally finished all Uncharted games In my opinion the vita game is the weakest game in the series regarding the story. It just didn´t catch me at all. The developers (Bend Studios) tried to make use of all vita features with the front and back touchpad. The bosses are only a cutscene where you Need to use the touchpad correctly to survive and that was for me really frustrating on crushing difficulty. Nevertheless it was a solid game and I had great fun with it. If you like Uncharted than you should give it a try! Regarding the trohpylist it was a bit annoying to finish the game on hard to unlock the crushing difficulty. Nothing Special you don´t know from other Uncharted games.
Popular Post Sunflower
Whoops forgot to post the last three. ? Trying to clear off some of the shorter games in my backlog: #76 - Deponia Really humorous point & click adventure & especially loved Rufus as the anti-hero. Hoping the rest of the series comes to PSN eventually. #77 - Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds One of my favourite otome series and the new routes definitely didn't disappoint. Out of the new boys Iba was my favourite but I really enjoyed Sakamoto's route too. Really happy that Yamazaki & Shinpachi both finally got their own routes and thankfully those didn't disappoint either. Here's hoping that the second half (and better half) of Hakuoki also gets localised to finish up the story. #78 - The Walking Dead: A New Frontier I enjoyed Season 3 much more than Season 2; the characters were way more interesting and Javi and his family were refreshing changes as the protagonists. Still, I'm looking forward to going back to Clementine as the protagonist in Season 4 but I hope that the Garcia family carry on as supporting characters.
Popular Post Lightin_August
#27 Horizon Zero Dawn I finally got around to giving this one a try. As far as open world games go I thought this one was pretty impressive. It wasn't as good as a Red Dead Redemption but was more enjoyable than an Assassin's Creed or Far Cry style of open world game. It at least got me interested enough to be low-key excited for what the upcoming DLC may have in store. Just have to mention the soundtrack, pretty good stuff, but one track in particular called 'A Wanderer's Work' really caught my attention it was so interesting that I went and booted up Spotify just to listen to it in isolation. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#158 - Beyond: Two Souls BEYOND: TWO SOULS™ MASTER Collected all trophies! I find this game kind of gets looked down on in comparison to Heavy Rain, and after finally playing it for myself, I don't understand why. I think Heavy Rain is more entertaining, but that's purely because of how ridiculous the game is with all its plot holes, bad writing, and cringey moments; it's fun to laugh at. Beyond is a David Cage game, so obviously that's to be expected to some degree, but I found it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I think the addition of the chronological order mode helped me enjoy this game a lot more than I otherwise would have; it feels like a much more cohesive order than the jumbled up mess of the original order. Maybe it's kinda cliche or whatever, but I thought the story was pretty good, and there were characters who actually felt like real human beings. So yeah, I really liked this game. It's probably David Cage's best movie-- I mean game so far.

Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #225: GORILLA (Wheels of Aurelia) Nice Car, Sweetie During sales, I often take fliers on smaller games that feel overpriced at regular market, but are deeply discounted. Sometimes, I get really burned (I'm looking at you, Toro). Rarely, I find a gem (Hatoful Boyfriend, thanks for being so stupidly great!). But mostly, I find games like this. Wheels of Aurelia is fun for one or two playthroughs, but loses it charm through the next 14. Thankfully, the game has an EXCELLENT system where you can start late in the game to hunt endings (which are the only interesting thing about the game). Seriously, kudos to the developer for that patch. But the driving mechanics are just so awful, and the fact that the conversations have little to nothing to do with your ending (only 4 of the 16 endings require particular conversations to occur) makes the game less fun than it should be. I would have really enjoyed my choices in conversations to have SOME effect on the friendships I'm supposedly developing (it seems important that I support or oppose abortion when talking to a girl who is contemplating termination of her pregnancy, but apparently, the only thing that matters is whether she gets to the hospital in 4 minutes or 6). For $3, I'm not complaining. For $10? Get out of town. Edited June 30, 2017 by starcrunch061

kusuriuriPT
53 Platinum Trophy Earn all Need for Speed™ Rivals Trophies What a missed opportunity with this game! i really dont see the point of the online component when theres no MP events to play. The only thing you can do in online its to piss off others players by ramming against them when they are doing a race ETC. The ideia/graphics/ control of the game its all fine but after 2 hours you have to do the same things to reach both max lvls on the campaigns. Boring, Boring, Boring, Boring....easy to plat but Boring!
Pyro
Platinum no. 44 Monster Jam: Crush It Not the most exciting game I've played this year, but considering it was on sale for around £5 & at this point I'm kinda dried up on what to play. This is near enough the only time I tend to buy a game just to burn some time and get an easy plat (I must admit) on the way. Game mechanics, graphics, modes, and enjoyment are all below if not just on par as it was a basic game, I know what I was buying so my expectations were "meh". Anyways I would recommend this game if you want an easy platinum and wouldn't if you're seriously thinking about getting something more out of it. Popular Post PooPooBlast
#73 Spy Chameleon A cool little indie game from PS plus. Liked the concept and it played like a good old fashion mobile game. The game was pretty fun for a couple of hours but it sort of got repetitive and boring as well. Luckily the last level, level 5 made up for it because those were well made IMO. The soundtrack was actually pretty good but the only issue was that they were short so they were pretty much on loop which sorta drives a person crazy .

Popular Post ROBOCRIPPLE_
#36: Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Finally got it after 3 years. A JRPG that I really enjoyed, 3 years ago when I started, and now when I went after the platinum. Took me some time, though, as some of the trophies are really grindy. It is a game that I thought about completing once and for all, after I earned the plat from RiME, another game that I enjoyed. Also, just in time for Canada Day! ?? Popular Post Hertz
got my 55th today Platinum # 55 Final Words Thank you for playing. Difficulty: 2/10 (easier than the first one for sure) Enjoyment: ∞/∞ Definitely my other choice for Game of the Year. The story was amazing and Yoko Taro is a great director The feels from the first NieR, if you ever find them in Automata, were really touching and made my kokoro go hngggg! The Credits in Ending E was hilarious and fun. But yeah I did the scrub way and got the annoying Bad Endings and Pod Trophy the "easy" way. Also that music.... HNGGGGGGG PS: A2 > 2B Plat screenie I tried to take a peak but she shoved me away. 13 hours ago, SnowxSakura said: Well now I just have to since you dared me to Ahh damn it you did it..... Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#48 The Killing Floor 2 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment 7.5/10 Recommend: Yes, the more friends, the better! FINALLY! Wow. This one is a grind. I was so bored by the end of it that I decreased my enjoyment by 2. That. That was awful. I'd recommend people to play this game and try different classes and get a good group of friends. Otherwise, you could find yourself frustrated. You can probably earn this platinum quick if you use the glitch, but seriously, don't use it until the end. It'll ruin the game for you I'm positive on that. Glad I was able to get this in before July. That makes 17 plats for me on the year which is just piling up on my PR. Now, onward to 50!!!

Popular Post Kittens Are Awesome
#80 Injustice Gods Among Us Vita Platinum Trophy First and foremost, credit where credit is due. Aexzia, for the tips on leveling up solo. Roronora_zoro666, for help getting the ranked match trophies and the 50 win streak for to get the 10x multiplier for leveling. The online for this game is kinda sparse. There are still enough people playing to get the online trophies except the ranked ones. Ranked mode is absolutely dead. The lag online wasn't too bad considering it's on vita and there's no hardwire option. Still, a lot of fun playing a fighting game online on the vita. The sp portion of the game is where you'll spend most of your time. I got lucky, already knowing a lot of the strategies for battle mode going in. I was able to finish The Max and Impossible pretty fast. After that, it's just kind of a grind to completing all of the Battles and all of the classic Battles. I was a bit disappointed in finding out that some of the DLC STAR Labs missions needed to be completed considering the base game STAR Labs is already a lot. The addition of the touch screen Labs was really annoying. A lot of those missions require you to be fast and accurate, yet the touch screen limits you to how fast you can actually be. Luckily, I read that you were able to 3 star the mission using regular controls, then , all you needed to do was complete it once using only the touch screen. For the DLC missions, you don't even need to 3 star the missions at all. I wasn't aniticpating going for fastest achiever until I was about 1/2 done with everything. Once all the hardest stuff was out of the way, and I realized I could beat the fastest time, I decided to stick with it. Leveling solo at the end was really taxing though. I ended up taking almost a whole day break, otherwise, I'd have surely lost my mind. I ended up edging out the fastest spot by 17 hours. I could have shaved a lot more time off if I had planned it. Oh well. It's only a matter of time before I get knocked off. 5 or 6 days is definitely doable for the plat. It's even more doable if you have 2 vitas to self boost. You get way more xp doing online battles than doing single battle pve. Overall, it's a decent port. The game had it's troubles. It's not a perfect port. Still a lot of fun to have Injustice on the go. I'd recommend it. Injustice vita plat popping Edited July 1, 2017 by Phil
