Popular Post Donkrieg1011
Plat #75: Bloodborne After trying out Dark Souls I wasn't very interested in the Souls series but Bloodborne caught my attention because of the setting and changes in gameplay. Also I wanted to make this my 75th platinum as well. The gameplay was so great that I literally finished it in one sitting, just trying out and killing one boss after another. One thing to note is that I think the map is much more linear and less confusing than Dark Souls so I didn't get lost as much. The lore is so deep and evolves from a simple beast hunt to Lovecraftian horror, which I absolutely adore. Might be a little late to the party but this is one of best games that I have played so far
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS Vita) Mask and Stripes Forever Collect every bronze, silver, and gold trophy No, Le Paradox... I am your father! So this is how a mash-up between Sly, Daredevil and The Empire Strikes Back would look like... Getting a bit side-tracked here, my apologies. I should probably stick with the game itself. Starting...now! Thieves in Time is my favorite of all four Sly titles, and it was as fun on Vita as it was on PS3. And no, no shameful auto-popping trophies I'll get the annoying parts outta my way first, since there were quite a few of them. Then we'll get to the good stuff! A small section of collectibles, treasures that is, overstayed their welcome by a mile. 60 of those were 50 too many. Just, snoooore That magnetic ball mini game with Bentley...motion controls are not what turns me on, luck got me through those (and balls ). Finnish voice acting and dialogue is atrocious at best. I'd rather mute those voices than get ear-raped by them. Even Tidus laughing in FFX is better. And now we'll get to the juicy part of the fruit, the positives! The absolute best thing in SC: TiT is the gameplay. It's got variety, almost every section controls beautifully and semi open worlds are fun to explore. Drawing distances. I usually don't care about the technical stuff, but collecting 150 bottles is much easier when you can actually see them far away Boss fights. Apart from the last villain (Quick Time Event, kinda ruins the epicness), every evil animal required different strategy. And Murray! The ending. Don't worry, won't spoil anything. It has a cliffhanger (there's also Sly in the movie, Cliffhanger!), and leaves me wanting more. More, now! If there's still a chance you haven't played Sly 4 yet, do it now. PS3 or PS Vita, pick your platform and go pick pockets (remember kids, stealing is wrong)
Popular Post Satoshi Ookami
インフィニット・ブラスターズ トロフィーをコンプリートした。 I want to say FINALLY, but I actually didn't play the game that long I actually played for like... 4 days? throughout the month =D In any case, this game is seriously, and I mean seriously (I suck at fighters, so you can take it for granted) easy for a fighter. The combos many people are worried about are really easy to perform with the right way. Not to mention, it definitely felt like the double QCs were somehow easier to perform than futsuuly. If I wasn't stupid and didn't mistake B+C for A+B in Ethica's Lethal Blaze, I would definitely Plat it much earlier and faster, lol In any case, even though I've been saying Tekkens are the easiest fighter Plats (7 may take the title back =D), this is definitely easier. Anyone who wants a fighting game Plat and is not that confident, go for this one Edited July 6, 2017 by Satoshi Ookami
Popular Post TheFinalEmblem
Platinum #81- Star Ocean 3 It was a lot of fun to go back through this game, especially since I never finished it on PS2, despite having it at the ready anytime. Overall, I thought the game to be pretty alright, still vastly preferring SO4 and SO5. The story was alright, and in regards to characters, I really like Cliff, Nel, Peppita, and Mirage, but I didn't really care much for anyone else, and I ESPECIALLY HATED Roger... Trophy wise, the game was a typical SO game, You have your story related ones, some misc. ones (One involving Roger that I also HATED!), BT trophies, and difficulty ones. The Bunny Racing trophy was complete ass, requiring about 50 hours to get, so 1/4th of the total time I spent on the game. Thank god that it only required 80% BTs and didn't go up to 95 or 100%, that would be worse than SO4 at that point. The difficulty trophies, specifically 4D, pissed me off plenty. Because of the stat increases of the enemies, you're basically always at a disadvantage and have to use the no movement glitch, otherwise you're toast, the enemies will stunlock you and kill you with ease... It pissed me off more than DS3. Still, there were points where you could easily take advantage of selling things or item creation to make some really nice weapons. Cliff was my guy through all the playthroughs. This is something I'd definitely recommend to play, but probably not to plat unless you really want to. Popular Post yellowwindow7
Congratulations!! / Onechanbara Z2: Chaos fans of Ninja Gaiden sigma 1 and 2, Ninja Gaiden 3, Byonetta or the Devil May Cry series, or even those who liked Lollipop Chainsaw should give this game a try, this game felt more similar to the games i mentioned before in terms of the fighting controls, it's not the best ps4 game out there that you need to own but at least it's really fun and satisfying to play. it's not perfect too.. 1- the camera had some major problems, especially during fighting giant bosses, the screen will get filled with special effects and lights while hearing the splatter of the bloods and girls screaming and shouting and the best way to keep track of what's going on is to keep your eyes on the boss health bar and your health bar while mashing the or . 2- the levels are way to short, at the beginning you'll gonna be sent to five different parts of the world.. Japan, China, Dubai, Peru and the united state, you gonna think that you can explore a huge part of these countries running around the streets entering buildings etc, but it turns out that you'll only gonna explore an ally... a very small ally! or the entire adventure are gonna be inside a building... makes you wonder why a huge countries like those didn't even try to fight back those zombies and vampires back with their army instead of hiring four super sexy girls armed with nothing but some blades and wearing bikinis and had "super powers"??.... oh wait!....... 3- the entire game in general is very short for a $20 game, your first blind playthrough may gonna took you about 3 hours or even less to beat the game. even the grind requirement you'll gonna attempt them without even notice. the graphics is cool when it comes down to the four main characters modeling but still nothing to wow you off, in fact it's the same graphics of the first part of the game that was released on the ps3 called Onechanbara Z ~ Kagura with Nonono, it just run and preformed better on the ps4 hardware. the platinum is not that hard in any way or shape, you can carry up pretty much everything you had, unlocked and got to the higher difficulties and continue from there, i'm a bit familiar to this series but this is the very first game i played from this underrated gem so i already know whats the point of this game, the story is not the best at all, you only going to enjoy admiring the views of how pretty the scene is if you know what i mean and also to slash your way to the goal. surprisingly without counting the heavy suggestive theme ( the game strong selling point ) the game had, it's actually really fun to play, but due to how short it was i recommended you to wait for a price drop if you really want it, i pick it up last month for around $8 so there's no point in me complaining about it's length. next plat is going to be World of Final Fantasy, need just one trophy to plat the darn thing! I was agreeing with this until the trophies started to mess up. When I did it on Vita I had no issues, but on PS4 I had to replay level 6 on normal 3 times. It then failed to unlock Level 4 hard even after replaying 4 times. I had to restart the game and beat it up to level 4 hard to get the final trophy to unlock. But that's #121. I'm done with it. Popular Post MissShake
#14: The King of Fighters XIV THE KING OF FIGHTERS All trophies acquired. My first Ultra Rare plat. Man, what a grind. I've been working on this trophy set on and off since release and I finally did it today. It's a slightly annoying list, more grindy than anything, but with a LOT of patience it can totally be done. I truly feel like the Queen of Fighters though, the sense of accomplishment is real.

Popular Post Omar
#116 - Crash Bandicoot The N. Trepid Crash Bandicoot! - Collect all the Crash Bandicoot trophies. .Achieved: July 6th, 2017 .PSNP's RS: Very Rare .Difficulty: 6 .Enjoyment: 8 Crash Bandicoot is my childhood, something many gamers can say today. The first game, though, is one that caught me too young and I never owned it myself, but played it from a friend who was older. I certainly didn't remember it was capable of provide such a challenge! I was refreshingly surprised by how NOT EASY this first game is. In a world in which games are more and more accessible, with hand-holding and other shenanigans becoming a staple, the raw, "you're on your own" challenge in this game was more than welcome. My learning curve went from struggling quite a bit to downright pulling something of the likes of what you can see in the video below, proving games don't have to be easy to be immensely entertaining. Platformers gain appeal if they push the player's skill, and Crash Bandicoot has done a very good job at just that, so I can't wait to dive into the other two games! SoapMacTavish222
#255 and #256 Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens for PS4 and The Last of Us for PS4. Lego Star Wars I already blew through for the Vita so I wanted to do a speed run for 100% for all the DLC and the game for the PS4. The Last of Us I had been working on then stopped then came back to it. It is a masterpiece of a game but I hate the multi-player. Towards the end I was just like "Whatever, as long as I complete the 12 week crap, I don't care."
Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
Platinum #71: Life is Strange (PS4) What if? Unlock all other trophies from Life Is Strange™ I absolutely love great storytelling, and after playing BioShock: Infinite, I was really looking forward to playing another one of them. This game delivered on that. From the very beginning of Episode 1, right on to the ending of Episode 5 and the final choice, this was one great rollercoaster that just ended up becoming better and better as it sped on. A cast composed of great characters and a number of twists and turns in the plotline compliment it. The story revolves around Maxine Caulfield, a mostly normal teenage girl who's striving to become a photographer. She enrolls into her dream school, Blackwell Academy. But after a set of events, she discovers that she has the ability to manipulate time. She also has a premonition of a storm that would come to Arcadia Bay in less than a week's time, along with the mystery of a missing girl. Max with her powers, and Chloe, the best friend that she hasn't spoken nor wrote to in five years, go on an adventure to uncover this mystery and expose what's really happening. The amazing and attractive art style and the soundtrack (coming from someone who doesn't like much music at all). Each and every character in this game was interesting. Max (Mad Max, Super-max, Maximum Overdrive,The Amazing Spidermax, how many nicknames did she have by the end of the game?) was an awesome protagonist herself, and it is great seeing how she develops through the episodes. But one of the biggest reasons why the game is so good has to be her relationship with Chloe. The game focuses on the friendship that the two have, and as they uncover more and more on their adventure and see how they develop, you really start to care about what happens to them (especially during the events that they're put through in later episodes). Overall, this was a fantastic and memorable game from beginning to end, full of emotional moments and great characters. This was my first PS4 platinum, and I really don't think I could've chosen a game for the spot much better than this. Popular Post Icebrand1270
126. Zero Escape: The Nonary Games (PS4) 7/4/2017 I rarely earn Platinum Trophies on holidays. 2 were on separate Christmas Eve days and one was on Easter. Ironically, the Easter Plat was Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward back on Easter of 2014 (also my first Vita Plat). Now I have an American Independence Day Plat! GO ME!!! Anyway, this gives us Virtue's Last Reward and the game that came before it, 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors (originally on DS back in 2010) in one gaming package and one trophy list. Intense and emotional storytelling combined with "escape" puzzles that will test your brain and can be difficult to describe even with the best of walkthroughs (print and/or video) are the name of the game. For those of you who don't own a Vita and therefore didn't play, or even have/had a Vita and didn't get around to Virtue's Last Reward, and enjoy a well-written and intense (M-Rated mind you) story, this is the game for you. As for me, I "sped read" through Virtue's Last Reward as I had earned Plat for it on Vita 3 years ago and remembered the story (the important parts anyway). Understandable but still wrong, I suppose, especially given the quality of the story. I saved 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors for later and was definitely happy I did as I enjoyed my time with it (like I knew I would). This also extends my "Plat-A-Month" Streak to 26 Months! Just crazy! I have no illusions of it lasting forever, of course. However, I'll keep it up as long as I can! Some of you may know this, but for Zero Escape fans who don't, Zero Time Dilemma is headed to PS4 this August (August 18th as it stands now). I only mention it because I know a lot of Zero Escape fans, both here and IRL, who didn't know that. Were it not on a GameStop reserve list I saw recently, I would not have known myself. This seriously needs more fanfare behind it! Anyway, that's all for now. Can I squeeze in 1 more Plat before Final fantasy XII Zodiac Age arrives? Highly unlikely... but you never know! Collect all the Crash Bandicoot Trophies. ~ Collect all the Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back trophies. I had lots of fun replaying these. Some of the time trials in a few levels (on both) were pretty difficult but with some trial and error, they can be done. The first game was pretty hard. I haven't played it in so many years. The High Road and Native Fortress from Crash 1 and Piston It Away and Spaced Out on Crash 2 were the hardest for me. Took hours of practice to get those time trials done. Also felt like the hit boxes on both are a little broken; mostly on Crash 2 but I feel more accomplished finishing it now because it posed a challenge. I'm not the best at platformers so those particular trials almost gave me a stroke.? I am now working on my backlog while I take a platforming break.

Finally get the chance to play the series and complete all GOW games in vita platform (Unless more is released on there). Pros: Two great games in the price of one. No difficulty specific playthrough trophies (But there still have hard trophies). Cons: Trophies not popping and developer didn't fix that. You can find these issues on the net. (Happened on me once that I have to restart to get trophies up to Rocking Out, luckily it didn't occur again). Cutscenes unchanged to fit the vita screen. Frame rates not smooth. It maybe just me, but the rear touch screen sometimes over-sensitive that I can't grab objects / turn handles right.

But it's still fun, played a few rounds after hitting level 25 as a new class, nice to finally be something other than a medic. Not sure if I'll delete it or keep playing. I have so much other stuff to play that I'll probably just get rid of it so I'm not distracted away from other things. The game could've used more variety, at least in the bosses. Only 2 is not enough.
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Zero Time Dilemma Zero Escape Collect all trophies Catch you on the flip side, eh? Finally got to play this one, thanks to recent sales. Yup, I'm a cheap bastard alright Needless to say, since Virtue's Last Reward is one of the best games on PS Vita, my hopes were high with Zero Time Dilemma. And I wasn't disappointed. It's still a mind f**k, there's tough choices and gruesome deaths around. Like Saw franchise, but with better story With this kind of plot telling, one can pretty much get away with anything. No one stays permanently dead (or do they?), thanks to changing history. It's borderline "it was all but a dream" screenwriting (which is the easy way out), but manages to keep the twists rich and plentiful. I still prefer VLR over this, but not by much. I guess it's just the slightly different angle this title has, so ultimately it's only a matter of opinion. If you own a precious Vita, care about complex stories and want to scratch your head with a puzzle or two, take Zero Time to solve this Dilemma
