Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD Tony Hawk PS Master Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 9/10 (For Me) This game was super hard for me. Apparently, I'm not good at this type of game. I really got in the mood for an extreme sports game. I used to play Dave Mirra (bmx) a lot on my PS2. Apparently, PS3 on has no love for biking games (at least yet...it seems two are in production now-ish). So I got the next best thing with skateboarding. Never played a skating game before. It was a lot of fun, but really really challenging for me. That isn't my only recent platinum. I did a few real easy ones on the way to this over the last week or so.... Reveal hidden contents # 79. Whitetail Challenge Whitetail Challenge Complete Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficulty: 3/10 I have never played a hunting game before. This isn't the one to do it. This game all around was terrible. I thought I would branch out and try something new. I started this the same day I started Tony Hawk. # 80. Energy Cycle Energy Cycle Platinum Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 I have recently been on the hunt for games me and my kids can play together. My two oldest are of the age that they are getting into games. I heard this was an easy puzzle game. Figured I couldn't go wrong with this. The game was so short and glitched to make it even easier. The game was just weird, and not really any fun. The kids didn't get it. # 81. Mr. Massagy I am the Glorious Mr. Massagy Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 1/10 The next two were games I just kept seeing on here. Somebody said this was funny. They were right. It was a weird little game, but it made me laugh. The game itself was super easy. For the few couple of dollars I spent it was worth it. #82. My Name is Mayo My Name is Mayo! Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficulty: 1/10 This is the infamous game everyone talks about. I had to try it for myself because everybody kept referencing it. For a dollar, I figured I could. It really was made just for trophies, I had no idea how many trophies you would really get. There is a vague reference at a story kind of, really silly, and really just a grab for trophies. But I am not one to judge if this is how people want to get their trophies, and now I guess I am one of those people too. # 83. Coffin Dodgers Retirement Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Super easy game. Fun cart game though that I could play with the kids. They enjoyed it too. # 84. Monster Jam Monster Jam Elite Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficulty: 3/10 This game was another one for the kids. I finished it off, but it really wasn't great. The mechanics were difficult and really the game got pretty boring pretty fast. Thankfully it was a quick game. 2 So if you managed to look through the spoiler you can see I waited until there was actually something worth posting about. I believe Superbike World Championship and Tour de France are biking games.

Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#157: Sword Art Online Lost Song I'm a huge fan of SAO and was looking forward a lot to this game after platting SAO Hollow Fragment. However, this game left me with mixed feelings. The story is meh and feels like it's a filler arc where the main cast just go on some questing, much like the Excalibur arc in season 2 of the anime. And I'm still waiting for an explanation about how Rain can dual-wield, which should be exclusive to Kirito. The combat is simplified compared to Hollow Fragment, which is a shame. I did like the flying mechanics in the game, though the altitude limit was driving me crazy. It felt pointless to be able to fly, only to have an altitude limiter preventing me from reaching story-related places. Having Kuroyukihime from Accel World as a playable character was a nice addition. I wasn't expecting to fight her when starting the event and she defeated me with 2 attacks... The post-game cleanup was just a boring grind: 100 side quests, 100 extra quests, raise a sword skill to lvl 500, raise a magic skill to lvl 500, raise all OSS skills to lvl 100, and unlock all skills for a single character. Luckily, the trophies for the skills could also be unlocked when an A.I. reached the requirements.

darkknightdevil2
#79 Dark Souls 2 (PS3 ) I have mixed feelings about this game. On one hand I enjoyed the weapon variety, the lore is entertaining and the pvp is some of the best in the series. On the other, enemy layouts are designed to be ganky and in some cases don't make sense, half the bosses in the game are a complete joke and all the weapons in Drangleic feel like their made of glass because of weapon durability. All in all the game is easily the weakest in the series by a decent margin Difficulty 6/10 Enjoyment 7/10 Edited July 21, 2017 by darkknightdevil2
Popular Post Shinobi
#217 - Crash Bandicoot Snatched this platinum up last night. I decided to do the DLC as well as I was already "in the zone" when it came to the platforming in this game. I won't be starting the second and third installment until a later time. Popular Post marvelboy10
#79- Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet -Platinum Earned all trophies. Well that's another Marvel platinum added to the collection. Super Hero Squad. The show that made me love Marvel more than ever, and now I get to add it to my platinum collection. But enough discussing about my childhood memories and let's get down to the main topic shall we. Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet is a very very easy game and doesn't prove to be difficult in the slightest. The only real challenges are the hack challenges. You have to be as fast as Quicksilver if you want to beat the times for some of them. But aside from that it's your basic play as a hero, defeat some bad guys, save the world from evil, and repeat. The heroic feats in this game require minimal effort to fulfill the requirements for each one. The game is so easy a 10 year old could platinum it without even trying. You take the role of the Super Hero Squad, a team of superheroes that consists of Iron Man, Falcon, Hulk, Thor, Wolverine, Scarlet Witch, Reptile, Quicksilver, She-Hulk, Invisible Woman, Nova, and the amazing Spider-Man, and your task is to gather all 6 Infinity Stones (power, time, space, rhytm, mind, and soul) before the diabolical menace known as Thanos, wielder of the Infinity Gauntlet, gets his hands on them first. With the absence of the Silver Surfer can the Super Hero Squad get all the stones before Thanos? Find out by playing Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet. Available now. My favorite comic book superhero, Spider-man, is in this game and he is spectacular. He is voiced by Josh Keaton in case you're curious. I absolutely had a blast with this game. It's a pity that they delisted the dlcs from the store but oh well. My over all game completion is 72% and I'm satisfied with that. I love the show so much that I collected all 4 volumes for both season 1 and season 2. I made the platinum my 5000th trophy milestone. I have decided that all the Marvel games I play from this point on will be a trophy milestone. So my next milestone is most likely 100 platinums. So that milestone is going to be a Marvel platinum. Until next time, have a great day and hero up! Edited July 21, 2017 by marvelboy10

Popular Post Nauticus87
I've had a busy 24 hours: #126 - Eventide: Slavic Fable Probably one of my least favourite Artifex Mundi games. The repetition of puzzles from previous games was really bad on this one and the character animations, as always, creeped me out. Dear god those furry monsters whittling away at that table, it'll haunt my dreams. #127 - Nightmares From The Deep 2: The Siren's Call Conversely, I thought this was one of the best Artifex Mundi games I'd played. The first one was already great but this upped it. Most of the puzzles were new or at least varied enough from previous iterations, the animations were crisp and the hidden object puzzles were fun. #128 - Late Shift I was expecting this to be like Wales Interactive's other game, The Bunker (or more fondly from my youth, Phantasmagoria) but was surprised to find it was a full movie with some interactions. It felt professional too with pretty convincing acting and a decent enough story. Media such as this should be encouraged. I'd love it if more interactive movies started being made. #129 - Dying: Reborn (PS4) I don't think this was as bad as the 38% metacritic rating implied. Yes the story was mostly obvious, the scares were pretty much non-existent (I actually laughed when the mannequin came through the window- it wasn't quite the same experience as Resident Evil's mutant dog 21 years ago), the writing was riddled with grammar and spelling errors, the voice acting wasn't worth being in a B-horror movie, the audio was all over the place and...what was I saying again? Oh, yeah, stellar game. Got the ultimate bundle so I'll be doing the vita version at some point.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
I'm just going to skim through these since I already got them a while ago and I don't think anybody cares or is going to bother reading through the giant wall of texts I usually post on this thread. Platinum #90: Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time (June 19th, 2017) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement: 8.5/10 Time to Platinum: 20+ Hours Enjoyable Ratchet and Clank game. My personal favorite alongside the PS4 reboot. Characters were funny and amusing. Plenty of worlds to discover and explore while collecting all the Golden Bolts and Zoni. Just smashing everything for more bolts is rather addicting I must say. The only bullshit trophy is My Blaster Runs Hot. I had to decrease the difficulty on a different save since playing it on Hard was just too much. On Easy I barely surpassed the 10,000 mark before dying. Pretty stressful and I'm glad I never have to play that minigame again. As far as the overall game goes, it's very enjoyable. Platform fans should have no problem with A Crack in Time. Highly recommended if you haven't played the game yet. Platinum #91: Adam's Venture Origins (June 23rd, 2017) Difficulty: 2/10 (8/10 without a guide) Excitement: 3/10 Time to Platinum: 5 - 7 Hours Awful. This game is essentially a poor man's Uncharted, without the exciting set pieces and engaging action scenes. Adam was one of the most annoying characters I've come across. His idea of him being "unstoppable" and above everyone else is a bunch of bullshit. His companion was dry and barely had any emotion throughout the game. All the other characters were simply forgettable. The puzzles, at least for me, were extremely difficult and I was left scratching my head saying "How?" In my opinion the puzzles had no logic, I simply had to guess the solutions until I decided to just watch a Youtube video guide on the damn game. Even then it was a chore, as a result the game felt a lot longer than it actually was. Worst of all, the game is a complete ripoff on the Playstation Store. Whoever thought charging over $30 for this game was a good idea needs to have his hands broken. I rented Adam's Venture Origins off of Gamefly, if I bought it I would of been extremely pissed. Pretty much a pass, unless you want to torture yourself through a relatively easy platinum, so long as you have a guide to help you. Platinum #92: Life is Strange (June 25th, 2017) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement: 9/10 Time to Platinum: 10 - 12 Hours One of the better story driven games I've played in recent years. Some people may criticize Life is Strange for having too many teenage drama, that the characters were rather sensitive and at times annoying. But I thoroughly enjoyed Life is Strange. It definitely warrants at least one playthrough for any competent gamer. The story was told in a much better format than the usual Telltale Games title. Decisions I made as Sam actually affected the outcome of the game later on. In one particularly sad scene you have to stop a girl from committing suicide by jumping off a building. Whether she dies or not is up to the dialogue choices you make. If she lives you could interact with her in later chapters. If not, you don't, and the characters you interact with all express their feelings for this poor teenage girl. There are a few elements that make Life is Strange resemble to be more of an actual game, but the centerpiece is the story. You will feel sad, you will feel relieved, you will feel tension. All of these emotions are the result of a good story, and Life is Strange is certainly that story. Highly recommended. Platinum #93: Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus (June 28th, 2017) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement: 5/10 Time to Platinum: 12 - 15 Hours Rather lackluster and disappointing Ratchet and Clank title. I knew something was off the moment I watched the first cutscene. The graphical style is not as good as A Crack in Time, which makes me think that this was a budget title being rushed out the door rather than a game that took a lot of work to make. For a 2013 release I feel it's not going to age well, simply for the questionable design choices that were made. The villains, unfortunately, weren't as memorable as Dr Nefarious or even Chairman Drek for that matter. The jokes were lame and the script was simply a medicore/average Disney Pixar film made overly redundant. The options were stripped. There are only five planets to explore this time around, and on my Challenge playthrough I basically rushed through the entire story, taking only a few hours since you can skip a large portion of one planet and move on to the last. Getting every weapon to Omega fully maxed out took a bit of grinding. I spent hours getting all weapons to max. The Arena was disappointing, not a whole lot was offered that hadn't already been done in previous games. Overall it's still slightly enjoyable, just not as much as the other Ratchet and Clank games. I may go as far as to say it sucks simply because I feel not a whole lot of effort was made to make this game memorable by any means. It's an easy platinum and by far the shortest Ratchet game I've played. It just wasn't anything great. Edited July 22, 2017 by Spaz
thaelryn
Ratchet and Clank for the PS4...it only took me over a year, lol...although that was partially due to me being slightly saddened in the direction that they took the story...rather than a real remastering with new mechanics and better graphics, we instead get a "reboot" with a lackluster story compared to the original...but its done, and will be done again on my 100% account. ? Popular Post Golden Devil Gamer
#66 - Catherine Cheers To You! Platinum Difficulty: 9/10 Game Rating: 8/10 Finally got the platinum for this. I really underestimated it's difficulty, haha. It took me more than a month to get the platinum, but I took a long break in the middle. Other than that, I probably could've gotten the platinum in 3 or so weeks. But yeah, this platinum was a huge pain in the ass. It's probably my hardest platinum, beating Killzone 2. It's been a while since I've gotten a challenging platinum. The worst part about the game is that required more luck than skill for many of the parts, which is stupid. Getting the gold prizes on Hard wasn't that hard at all except for Stage 9-5. That level took me around 2 hours to complete. The Rapunzel levels weren't too bad for the most part. I was able to do a good chunk of them by myself, but the last couple of levels, I used a video guide. I ended up having 1 credit left, so I didn't want to risk it anymore. Though I should've done the Rapunzel levels after I beat the main story so I'll have infinite credits. Oh well, all the difficulty came for the Babel stages. I ended up finishing Altar on the 18th, Menhir on the 19th, Obelisk on the 20th and Axis Mundi on the 21st (today). So I spent a day to do each stage. I did the first three stages solo, but Axis Mundi with two controllers. That stage is near impossible on solo. Altar was easy, but Menhir was tricky with the limited space. Obelisk was cancer, especially with those mystery blocks, bombs and monster block. I forgot how many times I got screwed over because the mystery block wasn't able to avoid was a bomb.Or even worse, when a monster block is responsible for collapsing half the stage. Axis Mundi was kinda hard too with the limited spacing and cancerous block patterns. I actually made it near the end on my first try, but accidentally pressed the button on the other controller, when Vincent was hanging off the edge. Luckily I kept on trying after that. As for the game itself, it was really good. The writing and the characters were well handled. The humor was it's strongest point, while the more melodramatic moments were the weakest. The voice acting was great and so was the music (as expected from Shoji Meguro). However, the sound editing in the game is terrible. Some voices are too loud, and others are too soft. The music ends up being louder than the voices, and there's no audio sliders in the options. Visually, it actually looks better the Persona 5, especially the character animations/facial expressions. That being said, Catherine is a shorter game with a smaller scale, so Atlus was able to make it look visually better. Persona's more stylish though. Gameplay wise, it's really good. Some of the level designs in story mode was brilliant. Atlus did a really good job, considering how they were only used to making JRPGs prior to making Catherine. Catherine was more fun of a game than I expected it to be, especially since I'm not that into puzzle games. I just tried it out, simply because it's one of the very few 21st century games developed by Atlus that I haven't played. If I were to rank my favorite Atlus games, Catherine would probably be 10th. Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #67 The N. Vincible Crash Bandicoot! Collect all the Crash Bandicoot: Warped trophies. I almost feel dissapointed, tbh. Compared to 1 and 2, this one is a little too easy; some stages can be a issue, but nothing compared to any of the stages from previous games. Seriously, Hurricane Spin wrecks the game; but it is loads of fun to use. And if you're not doing Time Trials, the Fruit Bazooka removes any trouble you might have. But tbh, I did play 1 and 2 before this, so I'm starting to get sick of these games. Will still do Crash 1 DLC
