Popular Post PooPooBlast
#78 Rise of the Tomb Raider Wow, this game was truly amazing. It's definitely a worthy follow up of Tomb Raider 2013. The story started out kind of slow and not making exactly any sense but everything became crystal clear about half-way through and the gameplay was really fun and good even though there was nothing groundbreaking. It was just done right. It's also amazing that PS4 owners get all of the DLC on disc! The game looks breathtaking on the ps4 pro! I personally chose the higher framerate option which mainly hovers between 45-60 fps. It feels so smooth! The facial animation was really good as well and as games are becoming more technical nowadays, it never ceases to impress me on what they can innovate. Anyways, onto 100% Hopefully the Endurance Co-op is not that hard. Edited July 24, 2017 by PooPooBlast
Popular Post killerJAZZ420
The Evil Within (PS4) Personally found the core game to be outstanding. I wasn't in love with everything about the game as playing on Akumu which isnt terrible or anything, some of the flaws really shown through and messed up runs. Either way though. Really Solid game and worth a play by any RE fans. Even more so considering its basically RE4-2.
Popular Post Sylan Vos
#30- Assassin's Creed II Having only played the first Assassin's Creed, I can say it was good but the second is everything the first was and much more. It pretty much improves almost everything and the story is definitely the highlight for me ☺️ Fantastic game!

Popular Post yellowwindow7
The Never-Ending Nightmare / Resident Evil Revelation 2 ( PS4 ) picked the complete edition from the PS store with only $8 off the big in japan last sales. compared to the action type RE games, still think RE 4 and 5 are better, way much better than RE 6 that's for sure, and personally i liked this game more than Revelation 1, and unlike the first revelation game which Jill is the only character in the story mode that you can upgrade her weapons and tools Revelation 2 allow you to upgrade all the playable characters in the story mode. the game is trying so hard to be the last of us, the teenager Moira is trying so hard to be like Ellie from the last of us, she have a dirty mouth, and dear god! they were trying so hard to make Clair, Barry and Moira to tell some really bad meme and lines so the internet will copy and paste it for generations to come... you know like the Jill Sandwich in RE1?, there's even some bricks laying all around the place for Natalia to pick up and throw at enemies... funny how even in the middle of a dark forest where there's no buildings around you'll see some bricks laying there out of nowhere, Barry as much as how i really liked the guy is trying to play the role of Joel from TLOU, Clair actually came out of nowhere, it felt they had to force here in the game just as an excuse to bring her back in the series, and i don't know maybe she is older now but she looks nothing like the Clair that we all knows. the only characters i really liked so much was the old man in the Struggle DLC really felt sorry for him man :'( and my RER2 Waifu Gina the hot chic with the glasses, sad she's the first one to go the graphics is slightly updated upon the PS3 vesion, in fact PS4 version sounded more like a Remaster of the PS3's, run at 1080p and 60FPS yet still have that grain effect which made the visuals looks and feel like if running in SD res, The Evil Within on the ps3 had that too but you still can have the option to remove it to make everything looks so sharp visually, unfortunately you don't have an option to remove it in RER2. the platinum is a bit easy if you knock the countdown and the stupid invisible enemies mode out of the way, i'm a bit surprised that the ps4 version have an ultra rare plat at 3.70%, where the ps3 have a very rare plat at 6.60%.... i guess the people played the hell out of the game on the ps3 since it's slightly cheaper on ps3 and never looked back on it ever again. i really wished if the devs just scrapped the countdown and invisible enemies modes and works more on the raid content, but nope! this is a modern game; it must have some sort of an unfair difficulty mode and some speedrun BS mode because we all love to speedrun our games right? Popular Post Komrade_Konrad
#44 - htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 The game itself was actually a pretty bad experience. It was a classic example of how artificial difficulty can ruin a game. The plot was interesting, the art was good, and the puzzles were fine, but the gameplay made everything a horrible slog and far more frustrating than it had any right to be. I easily would have rated this an 8/10 if the controls weren't terrible or if the actual puzzles didn't require frustrating levels of precision, but having to constantly replay the same sections of the game over and over again with slow movement and imprecise touch controls really ruined it for me. The platinum also has a few very frustrating trophies that require lengthy backtracking between attempts, but actually pulling them off isn't that difficult. Luckily I got this in a bundle with Yomawari and that game has been quite good so far, so it's not a total loss I guess.
Popular Post Maxie_M0us3
#120 - Horizon: Zero Dawn All trophies obtained Obtain all Horizon Zero Dawn trophies. This game is simply a masterpiece! Everything felt so good and satisfying: The graphics and the world are such magnificent, the soundtrack is a wonder to hear, the gameplay just felt such damn satisfying and varied! While the game didn't invent anything, it just made everything just right and executed well! Even the side missions are interesting, having a story in each of them! Even collectibles have now a purpose because you are rewarded in-game and you can trade them, which are rarely done well in gaming! It felt that every task I did in this game was rewarding. All the game's story and the backstory was satisfying (despite a WTF credits ending! (No spoilers!)), I got all my answers to my questions. The facial animation could have been better though (not comparing to the ME Andromeda ridiculously funny ones!). Despite this, this game is easily my GOTY 2017! I can't wait to play it again on NG+ Ultra Hard mode and wait for Frozen Wilds expansion! Edited July 25, 2017 by Maxie Mouse

Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #68 Heroine Achieve all possible trophies. If you're into classic JRPG's, this is a really good time. This game really nails what makes them fun. It is pretty short too, I finished up with 20 hours (And I have a habit of just leaving my games idle for some time), so it won't drain too much of your time like other games of the genre.

Popular Post Meacham
Platinum #210 - Thief (PS3) | Enjoyment: 7/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | 25/7/17 | Recommendable | 5th Fastest Achiever as of 25/7/17 | Rarity: 3.68% UR I don't even know what to say about this game really. I think I enjoyed it a lot more on PS4 for obvious reasons. It was new to me back then and I enjoyed it being a first person stealth game. This time around I didn't like it as much. Enjoyment is a 7 because after you've done your initial playthrough after all the collectibles and what have you comes the Custom Difficulty. Where you can tweak whatever you want to make it harder. That's where the real joy of this game comes in. Making it a challenge to try and get through every mission without being seen and it's quite a challenge. Some missions were just annoying but didn't find it as difficult as when I did on the PS4 because this time around I basically new what was in store for me. With that in mind, I set it up which way worked for me. Trying to remember some of the routes I did and to be honest. Considering I played Thief around 3 years ago, it's funny how you can just remember some routes. The "Hub" map as I would call it where you buy everything and go to missions etc is a big mess in my opinion. It can be quite tricky to navigate which is a pain when going for collectibles. That's one of the biggest complaints I have about this game. Which I shouldn't because you're a Thief there's just too many collectibles. I'm just glad they never had a collect EVERY loot trophy otherwise it'd take forever. The story is a bit weak to be honest. I won't go into it but I only have one thing to say about Erin and that is: ANNOYING. Just everything about her character is annoying. Lucky you don't see her too much but when you do. Since I played this on PS4 I knew what was in store for me so I didn't mess around when going for this game cause the longer it drags on the more annoying it became. I finished this game as the 5th Fastest Achiever and the platinum is an UR which does make sense but really doesn't. The game came out for PS+ what last year or 15'. I'm guessing a lot of players played it and because it's a pain they obviously didn't go for trophies. That's the only reason I can think as to why it's an UR but I'm not complaining. I wouldn't mind a sequel that had a stronger story and a lot more side mission thievery to be had.
Popular Post markcavan
#146 - Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on PS3 (23rd platinum of 2017) - 9.49% RARE I have very mixed feelings on this game. The main story is good, its almost like playing inside a animated movie and during the main story there is some grinding to level up your familiars so they can fight battles etc... and progress the game. All this I liked and would have given the game a higher enjoyment rating if that was it. Even the errands and bounty hunts were fun. But the post story game play is awful when going for platinum, especially the pokemon trophy (find 250 familiars) and the worst of all alchemizing 120 different items. What they hell was the point! No added enjoyment or progression to the game. Its just run around, find familiars, try to catch them and try and steal or get drops of rare items for alchemy. Rinse & repeat for 20-30 hours. Terrible game design. Overall 4/10 enjoyment with a 5/10 for difficultly taking over 91 hours to complete Edited July 25, 2017 by markcavan

Popular Post FarSideOfSaturn
#17 - The Talos Principle - Platinum Strain You have it all! The biggest puzzle from this game is how to write about it without spoiling anything. I suppose I could say simply it's a puzzle game, but The Talos Principle wants to serve a greater purpose than having you roam ancient ruins from some of humanity's greatest eras solving increasingly demanding puzzles. It wants to you question the nature of your existence, of reality, it'll try it's best to make you doubt your beliefs. Surprisingly, and I find this is rare for a game to achieve this...it succeeds. If I were to strip away the philosophy, underneath is a puzzle game not quite up to the standard of Portal until the very late stages of the game, but a fun challenge nonetheless. You're given various equipment, some of which must be unlocked to complete these puzzles. Your biggest asset is of course, your brain. What I found was it was fairly common to complete most puzzles without using all the equipment, or to find another solution other than what the developers intended, so there is some leeway to get creative. The DLC (Road to Gehenna) is where the game seriously ramps up the difficulty. You could argue it's a little unfair as mechanics to solve puzzles are used that don't exist in the main game but with perseverance and brainpower, anything can be overcome (and even you can't overcome it, there's always google...but where's the fun in that?) One part of the game I really enjoyed was a debate where my beliefs regarding consciousness and morality were placed under a barrage of scrutiny. I'd be interested to know with the game pointing out the fallacies and inconsistencies in your logic (and it will, regardless of how much sense you think you're making) how many people defended their beliefs no matter what, and how many people caved in under increasing pressure. That's just one example of how the game challenges the way you think, even if it's for the briefest of moments. One other thing I appreciated, and you'll come across this too if you go for the platinum is the subtle celebration of humanity and our accomplishments hidden away in an audio file in the game. Of course it rightly admits humanity isn't perfect, but it was uplifting to hear someone remember we're not all bad. Some other things. I found the controls a little weird at first, specifically I didn't like having two buttons for jump, and one of those buttons being . I'm more used to being assigned to jump in first person games but it's a very minor gripe. The soundtrack is hit and miss I thought. I don't like the music in the central hub areas and their assigned worlds but the soundtrack in the Messenger islands and central hub in Road to Gehenna is incredibly serene and calming. Combined with the scenery it's some experience, that the last thing I want to say about this game...it looks beautiful sometimes. Come for the puzzles, stay for the philosophy. Difficulty: 6/10 (assuming no guide is used for the puzzles excluding the stars) Enjoyment: 8/10 Game Rating: 8/10
