Popular Post ZiggityLamar64
#4 - Rocket League Virtuoso Unlock All Trophies This was most definitely the funnest Platinum i've worked on yet. Even when I was grinding, I still had a lot of fun with my friends and random folks online. This is one of the most enjoyable online game i've played in a long time. #5 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Just another day at the office Earn all available trophies for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® Remastered. Now we switch to definitely my most difficult platinum yet (for the time being), I decided to clean-up this game after slacking off this game after focusing on other games and I didn't even expect to get the platinum this quickly and i'm super happy about it. MW1's campaign is probably one of my top 3 favorites in the series (I personally found Black Ops 1 and 2 to have more interesting stories).

Popular Post Radebe78
#108 The Walking Dead: New Frontier Nice to be back into this world of zombies....sadly you don` play as Clementine so that was a letdown at first but these new characters were also enjoyable so it was ok to play as them. On a technical point of view - I had one dude die during the game and then, half hour later, causally strolled across the screen...not like a zombie, rather as nothing happened to him at all. Looking forward to the next season and finishing the whole story! #109 Her Majesty's SPIFFING Short and easy, few laughs but honestly I expected more fun from this game. #110 Nubla Easy peasy lemon squeezy! I missed one collectible so I had to replay maybe a third of the game to get it but no big deal. #111 Feist This game is hard to beat. It`s a good game but very unforgiving. As someone already said, it is not for the rage prone people...as I am. I like a decent challenge but this seemed sometimes as brutal as it can get. 10 levels...no health bar, no lives, no save option...just you against the nature. You have some checkpoints but they are not working for you, as you have to either beat speed run time or don`t get killed. If you return to the checkpoint - you have been killed.....and if you get killed 99% you`re not making that speed run time....so, don`t get killed! Everything and everybody is after you. Even the environment...if is`t not falling on your head, then it`s collapsing beneath you - watch out and thread carefully....while trying to beat speedrun times set by two Swiss sadistic bastards who designed the game! i remember that on level 7 I died 41 times before finally overcoming it. Last level 10, was pure hell. Easily 100+ deaths, failed attempts and many growling and screaming addressed towards TV screen. Proud that I beat it, and glad it is over.

Popular Post whoadreader
#195 - Prey Really liked this game, the atmosphere and gameplay were spot on and it made me feel really tense at points. I feel this game be more popular than it currently is as it reminds me of a cross between Bioshock and Deadspace. As for downsides the loading times are very long and the enemy and gun variety is lacking, although the latter two didn't detract from the experience too badly. #196 - Yooka-Laylee I'm a little disappointed with this game, it just wasn't as good as I expected, Although it was a good game it just felt like something was missing from it, I never had the urge to play it and I was never really excited to enter the next world or fight the next boss. Despite that I don't think it was a bad game, it just didn't click with me for some reason. #197 - The Dwarves I'd heard a lot of bad things about this game, and I really don't agree with them. Sure the game freezes occasionally and is very short, but the story and graphics were really impressive to make up for it. I loved how everything was voiced, and the wise variety of characters stopped the dialogue from getting stale too. The combat was a bit lackluster but I enjoyed it for what it was.

I just did that to mess with @Dav9834 ) Reveal hidden contents This game was more or less the exact same as GE Resurrection, the main difference was the lack of multiple Devour Styles (which sucked at first, the skill "Mutual Burst" is a must if you want to keep your burst going throughout the battle), but the addition of Blood Arts, Blood Bullets, & Support more than made up for that. I hear most people say Resurrection is better, but personally I found this one to be a little better (combat is more fun with the blood stuff, & physical combat isn't nearly as useless in this one either). Popular Post Fire
#143 - Killzone Shadow Fall Hero Obtain all Killzone Shadow Fall trophies In terms of a graphic this game was simply amazing. The level of details was very high. But as a big KZ fan i gotta say that unfortunately this was the only good thing in the game. Compared to first 3 games, this one was a let down imo. Story felt dull even tho the beginning was good, characters boring and so on. MP was a real grind fest. I did all abilities with bots, since it was much easier and cuz mp is practically dead. Andddd,,, Nothing beats Killzone 2 MP and its Elite playthrough Now i just need to play KZ Mercenary eventually to complete the whole KZ saga. Popular Post JaM
#190 to 199 Well... it's the day once again for another Plat Rain Day Since it's been a long time since I've played most of these game... will try to recall and comment how I feel about these games... Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL - before the existence of Darwin Watterson... Flapjack is my fave Cartoon Network character that's why I've enjoyed playing this game Tales of Zestiria - Well.. I dunno... Not a huge fan of this one. Maybe cause i can't help but compare it to previous Tales game I've played. So.. yeah.. not sure if I will get the DLC of this one and I am pretty sure that I will not watch it's anime. Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink - Well, easy plat for sure, got this one from a sale and the story and puzzles are quite interesting. Ratchet & Clank - Well... I have watched the movie before playing this one and I find the movie pretty ok so I have not much high expectation about the game. I prefer the Story of the original R&C game but I must say. I enjoyed playing the game from start to end. Final Fantasy VII - Well... This one brings nostalgia. And it is quite fun to replay this game and I must admit, It made me quite excited for the Remake version. Life Is Strange - well.. I have a "strange" feeling about this game. Overall an "ok" game for me. Not really excited about the sequel (or rather, prequel). *shrug* Arcade Game Series: Ms. Pac-Man - I actually haven't played this game before and I didn't knew that there is a game for Ms. Pac-man o.O well... I am not really good at these type of games and I am just glad that this one have Stage Select. Spy Chameleon - Quite frustrating sometimes thanks to hard mode but it was quite fun to play. Thanks PS+ IGC XBlaze Lost: Memories - UGHHHH... I wish I haven't bought this game physically and just waited for the game to be on sale. Not a huge fan of the first game and this one is like a recap of the first game + few addition. I actually hoped that this one will have a gag route as well... *sigh* can't we just have VN of the events of Blazblue games? The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel - First of all... huge thanks to @hasegawa2010 for his/her guides. Really useful. hmmm... lots of people loved it. Probably not me. It is not bad... the gameplay is quite fun.. I just didn't love these characters (except Emma and Fie) and not a huge fan of it's plot. Hopefully I would love more the sequels. And with that.... Popular Post Abbey97
Platinum #71: A True Adventurer Collect All Trophies. Well I must say, I'm actually quite surprised at how brilliant this game is. I went into it thinking 'oh this isn't going to be up to much', and I didn't think it would last me more than 5 minutes but now I'm eating those words as I'm pretty gutted that I left it sitting there on my PS4 for so long. I really enjoyed every minute I played of Lara Croft GO and it even felt like it was a proper Tomb Raider game with all the puzzles, relics, artifacts and outfits. I also love how it looks graphically! I mean wow! I wasn't expecting that much detail for such a simple game! I will definitely be buying Hitman GO now as I can't wait to see what that offers me. If you want an easy platinum and fancy something that's not to challenging or just want to relax, then go buy this game!
Popular Post daftprophet
Wowow. I waited a bit too long to post this major milestone for me, but better late than never so here it is. I haven't posted here in forever anyway. 100th/6,000th trophy - June 4th, 2017 Mirror's Edge Catalyst The Few. The Elite. Unlock all Mirror's Edge™ Catalyst Trophies This was definitely planned as the first Mirror’s Edge was my 50th platinum/3000th trophy milestone. I loved everything about Mirror’s Edge, so Catalyst was definitely on my to-do list. I do kind of regret waiting so long to play the game. There are so many games to play and I wanted to make this one a meaningful milestone. The game play is very familiar, though a bit different. In Catalyst, the game play flows much more fluid than the original, which in my opinion, isn’t necessarily a good thing. I felt like the movement techniques were easier to perform than in the first game, making it practically effortless to run around the city. I felt like every single step in the original game needed to be executed with precision and care. In my opinion, this made the game play in Mirror’s Edge more rewarding and somewhat a challenge against yourself to perfect your skills. The skills need to be unlocked in Catalyst and there are tons of side quests/collectibles all around the city. There is quite a bit of ground to cover, but that’s the fun part! All in all, I thought Catalyst was a great game and addition to the Mirror’s Edge story line. This game is much more approachable than its predecessor for people unfamiliar with Mirror’s Edge and it’s mechanics. Shortly after this was complete, I popped a few others that were in the works leading up to the milestone. #101 - June 4th, 2017 J-STARS Victory VS+ J-Stars Victory+ Collect all trophies I’m not super huge into fighting games, but I like some anime and manga here and there. This game plays a huge fan service to both, while being a fun and quick 3d fighter (kind of like the Dragon Ball games I think, never played them) Not much else to say other than it wasn’t too difficult. I had a lot of fun playing this one. #102 - June 4th, 2017 inFAMOUS 2 inFAMOUS 2 Platinum Trophy Collect all other inFAMOUS 2 Trophies Not really much to say about this one, just been in the backlog for ages. It’s like the first game but a continuation of what happens after the events in the first inFAMOUS. Subtle differences here and there with techniques and abilities, otherwise it’s pretty much identical. Played it more for the story and was not difficult at all. #103 - June 11th, 2017 Uncharted 3 Platinum Platinum how original... I really like the Uncharted series and had been meaning to finally go back and finish the 3rd one up and so here we are. The game itself was pretty fun, standard adventure, platforming, hide-and-shoot encounters that the previous games had. Wasn’t as good as the 2nd one, but definitely a must play (if you’ve not already done so…) I’ll also use this post to include my most recent platinum as well. #104 - July 25th, 2017 Mighty no. 9 Trophy Master Get 'em all. Now this one was interesting. It’s just like Mega Man being a side scrolling action platformer. The game was a Kickstarter funded project coming from the original illustrator/character designer for Capcom (after he left of course) and the Mega Man games. This game is supposed to be the spiritual successor to Mega Man, however, it was met with harsh criticism and viewed as a hardcore flop in many people’s eyes. Personally, I had a hard time liking it at first as well…due to it not being Mega Man. I like that it was different, but it’s hard to create something better than one of your best creations ever. I feel like a lot of people either didn’t give this one a chance, or that the game play mechanics turned people away. It’s not as terrible as people make it out to be, just takes a bit to get used to how the game plays. I thought it was kind of gimmicky at first, but once I became familiar with the controls and mechanics, it turned into a “how can I do this even faster and more efficient!” type of game without feeling like a chore while maintaining fluidity. There are a few sections (PS4 version anyway) that had some lag issues, but overall I didn’t have any other problems with the game glitching or anything like that. I would definitely play this again and I’m very curious to see if any future projects come out of it. It had some challenging feats like beating the game without dying in one go, but you can acquire an energy tank throughout the levels making it less difficult. Honestly the killers were sections with one hit kill attacks or death walls/drops. Can get your nerves going if you are not careful! I would recommend giving it a chance, but realize it is not for everyone.

I had actually planned on going back to the Vita version to get some ultra rares and improve my C rank only to find that it had been discontinued and is now impossible to download. Instead, I found this version and saw it was on sale so I bought it and knocked it out in a couple of hours. Was a nice breather from Fallout 4. Took me right back to my childhood, motion sickness and all. Thank god for parents who didn't worry about game content. 9 year old me had a blast tipping strippers, staring at alien boobs and kicking alien scum so hard they exploded.

All in all, it's not too bad Going in and out of the doors saves your progress, you will want to take advantage of this during your hard run...advance a little, save, advance a little more..save, especially during the 2nd half of the game..the 4th boss took the longest to defeat, even when viewing a YouTube strategy, hard is actually easier for the most part, the 2nd character is immune to attacks if you spam the action buttun, at least in whatever direction you're facing that is, it's a short fun game though, pretty straight forward, I'm going to start my vita stack soon myself
Popular Post Meacham
#219 - Bastion (PS4) You Done Good 11.95% rarity as of 25/8/17 Really, really impressed with this game. You go into these types of games expecting it to get boring after a couple of levels etc and that the story would be cliche and characters wouldn't be all that interesting but this game isn't one of them. To me personally, the story was an interesting one as it evolves. No spoilers from me so this should be a short section. The brief idea is. Something bad happened in the world and you're character is responsible for restoring some sections with crystals which help build a safe haven as it were. There's literally only one person talking throughout the whole game. A narrator. Not your typical narrator though, if you've played you understand what I mean and if you are going to play it, you'll see what I mean. Normal narrators have this tone to them I guess is what I'm trying to say. The soundtrack is good to listen to. There's variety when it comes to weapons and there's alcohol which give you buffs and challenges to complete throughout the world. Each section is bright, it has life, it's colourful. Very well designed. There's a variety of enemies, some are simple and some are a pain to kill. There's shrines which add more of a challenge to the game. Each shrine you select gives you a debuff but give's you 5% increase in EXP so that's pretty neat, When you level up you then in turn get to add more alcohol to your character for more buffs. There's a score attack mode which is the recommended mode to get the majority of the trophies. Don't panic if you read the guide and you see 7/10 difficulty. In my opinion it's not that difficult. It's a challenge to get the bulk of the trophies but it's very doable with a bit of planning. The real challenge in the game is the dream world called Who knows where. You have to complete each one with all Shrines Invoked 10 of them (10 Debuffs and disadvantages) If you get stuck, I can't stress enough to read the guide. I managed to complete each one on my second attempt which is why I personally didn't find it that difficult as I had the right set up and found what worked for me. Definitely give this game a go if you're interested in it. You won't be disappointed. I would of uploaded a platinum image but it's basically a story scene which would ruin it and there's not much going on anyway so not much point. Story mode difficulty: 1/10 Dream world difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment Overall: 8/10 Don't worry about missing anything or the difficulty. The game is pretty straight forward. Remember to have a look at the very well made guide if you ever get stuck and enjoy the game. Supergiant games done a really good with this game, they also done a very good job on Transistor. Looking forward to trying out their new game Pyre.
Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #72 Hero of the Shadow Sector Obtain all Ratchet: Deadlocked™ trophies I got this for free when Full Frontal Assault was made free for a day on the PSN (Buying that one gives you this). I remember playing this when I was a kid on the PS2, so I was looking forward to playing this... But only now I really decided to play it again. And I gotta say... This remaster is pretty shitty. The framerate sinks constantly, making it very unpleasant to play. The cutscenes are pretty messy too, with this even happening right at the beginning of the game: I didn't even do anything, that's exactly how this cutscene plays. The game also isn't very stellar. I mean, it's good mindless fun and it doesn't overstay it's welcome, but it's very subpar compared to it's predecessors. At least Ratchet gets a cool armor in this. Really should play the HD Trilogy on PS3

However it is the exact opposite for me, both on PS3 and PS4, but a majority of them on the former. All that bullshit lagging and game crashing has made me want to throw it in a dumspter and burn the shit. Hell, i am having problems keeping my ass alive for the solo challenge 36. If they had only given us 2 health packs (or whatever they are called) like they do in Boss Rush Mode, then this challenge wouldn't be a problem. When I came into it I just wanted to play a quick RPG with a fantasy element. I never expected a great story with characters that felt so human. The action was quick but was pretty fun especially in the later segments. The boss fights where all pretty cool. Its fun to play a game where every character functions differently so no 2 characters feel the same. The only regret I have is that Odin wasn't playable.

First released way back on late 2011, the game managed at the time to deliver a fresh and new way to play Rayman. A game so charming and crazy that earned back fans and newcomers alike. Rayman Origins is a 2D side-scrolling plafomer game, that takes place inside the Glade of Dreams. One day, Rayman and his friends while loudly chilling by Bubble dream resting grounds, disturbs a old evil granny that resides in the depths of the world. Tired of all this symphony nonsense, she unleashes a army of Darktoons to counter attack all this noise. While doing so, the Electoons and all the living creatures are captured and transformed into hideous monsters. Now a drowsy Rayman and their mates must restore the glades of dreams back to it's glory and stop the evil granny from destroying the Glades. But there are my Platinum Rain Day results. 36 new Plats, and a few new milestones. I chose Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth for the 225th milestone, 'cause not only was I really into Digimon in my younger days, it was a phenomenal game. Great story and great gameplay. I've been saving FFVII for my 250th for quite some time, as it was my first JRPG(not counting Pokemon), and will always be a special game to me. And for my 13,000th trophy, I lined up God of War III. I can't believe I passed on these games, thinking I could do without them. I loved every single one(except for maybe Ascension), and find it to be an incredible series. Most of these were good games. A couple were just alright(Under Night and Truck Racer). And some were... questionable decisions ?. Those were Lifeless Planet, the Cartoon Network game, Manhunt, WRC 5, and I suppose 1000 Top Rated. To be honest, I bought that mainly due to the trailer being funny. And playing it was done to line up FFVII, as I wasn't really sure if I was going to go for more Plats or return to Red Faction: Guerrilla. With Resogun, I didn't even need it, but I didn't know that was coming either. So.. yeah. What's done is done. I am terrible at sliding puzzles, though. :/ PS4 Platinum images: Spoiler Edited August 26, 2017 by DamagingRob
