Jesaya815
#194 Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition Blasting Agent Be a Blasting Agent and unlock everything Pretty decent little game to complete in one sitting. The first playthrough on normal is quite enjoyable, especially when you gain upgrades for your weapon. A few frustrating moments on Hard Mode though, even when playing with the other character, called Sting (no, not the wrestler, but rather a pixelated martial arts expert.), which makes the bosses at least a bit easier. One thing's for sure, all the button-mashing can get painful after a couple of hours.
Zarakai1989
I thoroughly enjoyed this one, especially as it was a brand new take on Batman's universe. I will definitely be playing season 2. Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#73 - Borderlands 2 "Borderland Defender Round Two" Unlocked all BorderlandsTM 2 trophies Well, now this has been an extremely long platinum journey! I must have played through the main story at least 5 times since my first playthrough on the Xbox 360 I re-bought the Handsome Collection to replay this incredibly enjoyable and satisfying adventure with a mate, and I must say, it certainly didn't disappoint. Even though it's been nearly 2 years from first play to the platinum, I've loved (nearly) every minute. I'll keep this one brief; there's a lot to love about B2. The gunplay is tight, humour is up there with the best (imo) in gaming, environments are interesting and varied, music is lovely, characters are loveable... there's really not much to say that's negative about this game. If there was anything, it's that playing solo it can be pretty slow at points. The vehicles, and many of the environments and encounters, are certainly geared to more people. Especially in UVH mode, it just becomes not fun very quickly when you die so quickly and encounters are so long. In summary, if you love solid FPS mechanics like Destiny, solid RPG elements, and loot-collecting like Diablo then Borderlands 2 is a masterful example of the genre. The platinum is a bit of a grind in this one (100% taking even longer), but if you've got a few buddies, you'll have an absolute blast with this game. Enjoyment rating: 9/10 Plat difficulty: 4/10 (more long than hard)
Popular Post Meacham
#220 - Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate The Dark Knight 25.53% rarity as of 28/8/17 I'll be honest, I didn't like this version of the game. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the game itself but in my opinion it isn't the best port around. It was definitely created for the Vita which in my opinion it should be played on and I wish I had that version of it instead but when there's a sale... Very raw Batman in this. Set just after Origins I think. It's a nicely done sidescroller to be honest. The sections can be completed in any order and whatever last boss you faced had a little different ending. The cutscenes are comic made which was a nice touch. The voice actors were the ones from Origins I think so that's a plus that they didn't switch out. There's quite a few collectibles which I ended up getting twice in two playthroughs. One for the sake of the trophies and one for the sake of everything in the final playthrough. 3 playthroughs is required minimum. Reason behind this is after every last boss there's like an extra section where you have to defuse bombs, rescue hostages and destroy circuits and you only get one per playthrough and at the end of each section you get a piece of equipment for a suit. Which is why it takes 3. After the first playthrough. It's pretty much dragged. You have to do it for the plat but it's annoying. I've decided to take a break from platinuming game in order of my backlog so I've randomed it up again and my next game will be Persona 4 Golden. Single player enjoyment: 6/10 PS3 Enjoyment: 2/10. Difficulty: 2/10 I recommend if you want to play this game then play it on the VITA, I wish I did because this version is a port and in my opinion not a very good one. I'm a little surprised it's an uncommon platinum which says to me the people that have played it are mostly trophy hunters. Mainly because it takes a little bit of effort to completely platinum this game. The combat is horribly slow and very basic. Scanning a lot of objectives in the area to complete cases can be a little headache but doable. Edited August 28, 2017 by Meacham

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles A walk in the park 100% completion of all trophies This isn't flying, this is falling with style! A game with no killing, dying or harming anyone. What could possibly go wrong? Well, a few things, actually. Mainly 'cause of glitches, but let's stay sunshiny for a while. As you can gather from the image above, Yonder is a title with very positive attitude towards life. And that's great There's no evil being trying to take over the world. No monsters ready to be butchered. Just smiles...and an umbrella. Your goal (if there is one) is to get rid of the 'murk' (clouds) by help of sprites (fairies) and a cloud catcher. As you do that, you tend farms, adopt cute animals, craft foods and useful items, and go fishing. What a happy camper Everything in Yonder is made to make the player feel good. I know I did...until it was time to pop some trophies. There's a billion things to collect and craft in Y:TCCC, and glitches lurk around every corner... A trophy for finding half of the cats (out of 55), didn't pop until after about 40, which had me worried for some time. Another trophy, for catching every type of fish, didn't unlock until I'd caught another extra one. That was fishy Hiring the first farm help available would lead into the game crashing. Every single time. Lesson learned: hire someone else. Completing a certain "rain" quest would start a never ending rain and storm in the game. Quit and reload, that's what I always tell people. Controls are not perfect, not even close. Mostly it matters not, but when there's some tight platforming ahead, you better just hope for the best. But, despite of all these hiccups (and more!), I still think Yonder is more of a "YES" game than "NO". It's cheerful, harmless and full of optimism. Instead of making war, why not make some potatoes? Popular Post GarciaFever
#172 Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm And with that, I now have all Naruto games platinumed... with the exception of the PS4 legacy version, but that will come naturally within a month or so, depending on how things go. I "liked" the game, but I have a few issues with it: Battle: the substitution jutsus are completely garbage, to the point where it feels like it doesn't exist. Even mashing the block buttons almost never did anything. second, seeing as I am used to the latter entries of the game, I kind of expected it to be somewhat similar, but the fact that I can't even chakra dash in the middle of a combo sucks, and I always have to wait for my first combo to finish, or just stop the combo completely, which gives my opponent plenty of chances to kick my ass. The Ultimate Jutsus were decent, but if you're using Naruto (which most of the time you will), it gets boring watching him and his clones dog-pile the opponent every time as if he were trying to be Agent Smith from The Matrix, telling their opponents sweet-nothings in his ear like "it is inevitable" or "taste the rainbow". There is no way for me to customize my own weapons for battle, so whenever I felt like I was about to die and needed some health items, then i'm shit out of luck. Maybe there is, but as far as I know the game didn't do a good job of explaining how I go about swapping them out. The QTEs were good, but seeing as I went for the hardest missions first before proceeding through the story, there is nowhere near enough reaction time to mash all the buttons in a specific order. For examply, in the battle with Gamabunta, there is a QTE when his health drops down to around 50%, so you know that something is coming, As I get ready for the button prompts, they appear, and the shit is 5-8 buttons long, and just as i'm about to press the first button, the shit is almost over. Thus I have to purposely fail them several times before I finally get to memorize them. Like you have roughly 2-2.5 seconds to input everything before you get destroyed. Also, I love Hinata with all my heart, but I felt disappointed . Maybe because I am used to the Shippuden version and her having to make a 64-hit combo just by herself. Thus I ended up having to use Rock Lee when I didn't have to use Naruto as he was perhaps the fastest person out of all the genin. Also, f you get knocked down, the fucking character stays down as if s/he got his/her ass whooped by a black person (no offense to anyone), and stay there lying for a good 4 seconds before they realize that they have to keep fighting. Like hell I have enough time to go take a shit, come back, and the character will still be lying on the floor. Adventure: where do I begin with this one. First, why in the hell do I have to keep climbing on rooftops to talk to certain fucking people for missions? Are the fixing the water tanks or some shit? Second, I kept on getting pissed off when it came to trying to clear the rings via the "Naruto Cannon". Motherfucker trying to be like Free Willy or some shit. Oh and be careful on where you throw Naruto, otherwise he will most likely hit a wall or an object, and stay down for a good 4 seconds before he gets back up. The camera was complete garbage, and there is no way to adjust how fast you try to turn it. The only solution to this was to continuously use what the game calls "Shuriken Mode", which allows Naruto to throw anywhere from 2-10 shurikens at once. TL;DR Battle Mode is stale as hell, Adventure Mode is mediocre, and characters always stay on the rooftops if you need missions. Popular Post marvelboy10
#84- Ratchet and Clank (PS4) The Hero of Heroes Collect every trophy in Ratchet & Clank This may sound shocking, but I never played a Ratchet and Clank game prior to this one. I always heard positive things about it and how it's unique and very fun. I never got to experience a Ratchet and Clank game first hand. Fortunately during the mid year sale it was on sale for $5 and I knew I couldn't pass up an opportunity to play a Ratchet and Clank game for the first time. So I figured "well it's the reboot game but it should still be just as fun as the other installments" and I went ahead and purchased it. After approximately 17 hours 34 minutes and 18 seconds I can proudly say that Ratchet and Clank is definitely without the shadow of a doubt one of the most thrilling games I've played so far. I had high expectations prior to playing this but I did not anticipate the fast paced action that I experienced. It was fun, captivating, and unprecedented. I'm impressed at the amount of detail they implemented into the game. One of the key aspects of the Ratchet and Clank franchise is the weapons. The person(s) who fabricated those weapons deserves a medal. If that's not creativity then I don't know what is. My favorite weapon in the game was the RYNO. Let's face it, the RYNO is the most over powered weapon in the entire franchise. Once fully leveled up it makes even the toughest of boss fights seem like the easiest. When I faced Dr. Nefarious on Challenge mode I had the RYNO fully upgraded and the boss fight only lasted 2 minutes. Another one of my favorite weapons is the "Groovitron". Any weapon that makes your enemies perform the moon walk is immediately my favorite. There is also the Sheepinator which turns people into Sheep. There are many other cool weapons such as the Pixelizer, a weapon that turns your enemies into 8 bit figures. Now when it comes to the trophies they are very simple. On this planet do this, finish a race in a certain time, unlock all weapons and level them up, etc. Nothing too difficult, well maybe except the trophy for winning the Hoverboard gold cup on Rilgar in less than 1 minute and 35 seconds (I barely made it and I got a time of 1:34) That trophy required some skill but after a few attempts, I managed to obtain it. The trophy for winning the gold cup on Kalebo was very easy. That track has short cuts that you can use to your advantage and you'll never lose. The grinding for the weapons is what really annoyed me but fortunately I found a video on Youtube that shows an easy way to accumulate all the points necessary in order to purchase all the weapons, cards, and accessories. It took me a couple of hours but it was well worth it. Challenge mode was not so challenging in my opinion. Especially when you have the RYNO equipped and fully upgraded. That will just obliterate all the enemies in a blink of an eye. Overall I enjoyed this game very much and I'm glad that I made this my final platinum of my Summer Vacation. I'm currently the 7th fastest achiever. https://psnprofiles.com/100-club/4536-ratchet-clank Until next time, have a great day! hsouzaz
Tearaway Unfolded Perfectionist 8,13% Very Rare Was surprised by the rarity of this plat, since it was quite easy to get and a bit frustrating too, but I played this on Vita years ago so it was no big deal. Still very charming like I remember it, but the replay value kinda makes my stomach hurt, just once is enough, twice made me sick. 3/10 for time consumption and having to replay the whole level if you drop that mole and lose your stamp. Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#54 Gravity Rush Remastered Difficulty 4/10 Fun 9/10 Recommend: A game with gravity powers?!? Sign me up!!!I I always wanted to play this, but never owned a Vita. The main reason why I wanted to play this was because I always thought that a game with gravity powers would be super cool since it has never really been done before. When I heard it was coming to PS4, I knew that would be my chance to final give this game a whirl. And wow, what a RUSH (bum bum tsk!). The game definitely met my expectations. The beginning was a little slow, since your powers were so weak and you could really only tackle an enemy by gravity kick since all the other attacks were weak. However, as I went through the game and started upgrading my stuff, I began using slide kicks, evades, and special moves, and the combat opened up to new possibilities and kept me entertained. The entire game feels like a comic book and that was probably the best part to the storytelling. I would highly recommend anyone who loves superhero games to try this one out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #106: Color Guardians (August 11th, 2017) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement: 7/10 Time to Platinum: 5 - 8 Hours A fun side scrolling endless runner game that is slightly challenging, but is rewarding when you tackle the more difficult sections of the game. You play as three different characters, each of whom has a different color. As an endless runner, your goal is to collect orbs, the more you collect the better. The colors are Red, Yellow and Blue, the three initial colors. Thankfully there are no Green or Purple orbs to collect, although that would of made for a challenging game if we had to keep track of more than three colors. There are five main locations, each with their own set of levels. There are ten normal levels followed by a boss level, who is always the same boss looking to end the colorful bliss. As one can expect, colors play a huge part in this game. Later levels require you to be a lot more quick in your timing as you change lanes. There are three lanes in all. The beginning location starts off simple, but as you move forward into the game more obstacles come into play. What starts off as a simple three lane green environment in the first area turns into a more difficult cave/castle environment, where you have to watch for enemies and avoid falling into water and pits. Both of these areas present a challenge, but you'll definitely feel a sense of accomplishment when you beat them. The game is entirely fair, it never punishes you too badly for your mistakes. Since Color Guardians is skill based, your time to complete this game depends heavily on how skilled you are as a gamer. For some people it's pretty short. For others the game may take a while longer. Chances are you will die a lot, in fact you're required to die a lot to earn one of the trophies. The most difficult challenge is beating the final boss level in one go without dying. Unfortunately you can't just restart from the checkpoint, you have to exit out of the level and start from the beginning. Thankfully I didn't struggle too much, as the boss patterns are very predictable once you study his moves. Overall Color Guardians is a fun, lighthearted style game that little kids can enjoy. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a little challenge. But you may want to stay far away from Color Guardians if you are color blind. Platinum #107: Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink (August 19th, 2017) Difficulty: 1/10 (with guide) Excitement: 6/10 Time to Platinum: 2 - 3 Hours A point and click, find the hidden item style game. Clockwork Tales takes place in the steampunk world of Gottland. Earthquakes have sprung up in the area with no rhyme or reason. Dr Ambrose Ink has investigated these earthquakes to try to learn the cause, and as such has hired special agent Evangeline Glass to help him. What looks to be a well to do, humble village may be more than it seem. This game is essentially, at it's core, a point and click game. It is not the same fashion as the old Lucasarts and Sierra point and clicks from decades past, but it resembles more of a point and click with a lower budget than say, Telltale Games titles. I was pleasantly pleased with the art style of this game. It's definitely one quite unlike many other point and clicks I played. Care was clearly put into the game's scenery and character visuals. The voice acting could of used more work, as some characters sound too stereotypical with their obvious accents. But all in all, the visuals were definitely a plus. As such, there will be a lot of gathering objects in a point and click game. There are a few sections that require you to find hidden objects, often blending in with the background and even overlapping with other objects. This game didn't make it too difficult to find the hidden objects, as they are randomized for every player. Some of the sections may be a bit too difficult for the average person, and thus may require a guide. It's not a challenging game, but Clockwork Tales is treated as a game that only trophy hunters will go after, as point and click games, with a guide, are extremely easy. This is a bit of a shame because there are those who just wish to rush through games like this one just so they can land a spot in the fastest achievers list. The game isn't without it's flaws, as there is a lot of back and forth between various sections, including a couple that I felt dragged on for a bit too long. I definitely enjoyed the visuals and for what the developers made out of a smaller budget. Definitely a game to grab if you want another easy platinum to your list, but if you don't enjoy point and click games then it's probably best to avoid Clockwork Tales and look elsewhere.
