Popular Post Matrim_Drasgen
PLATINUM #18: Glory Hunter 29th Aug 2017 4:21:23 AM 2.6% ULTRA RARE Not a bad game though probably in the bottom three of my 18 platinums for enjoyment for a game as a whole. I only played it because I borrowed it as I didn't have access to any other game as I had no Internet all summer and beat all my other games I had downloaded on PS4 as I screwed up by forgetting FFXV at home. I skipped scenes where I could and took advantage of the game not auto saving in the base to get the accessories trophies. However, when I earned this trophy I thought I had earned 4 trophies in the past 4 months. Then when I looked at my Trophy Log and only showed Platinums, I saw I have earned 8 trophies since January. Now I didn't get one every month but I am 8/8. I am really quite pleased with myself for that one, almost makes up for the fact I started Lords of the Fallen and won't Platinum that game as it is way beyond my skill level and the way the experience gain and potion systems worked wasn't for me. Stalling the game out at the second boss. Really jacks up my unearned trophy count though. However, not bad game and seeing the style of Akira's art was a plus. I am sure for more die-hard players of the game who understood the subtle comments about the players being familiar, getting more details about the World Tree and such, it was probably more enjoyable. Outside this one and Dragon Quest Builders (also in the bottom for enjoyment for games I have gotten the platinum) I only played Dragon Warrior on the NES and never got into the franchise as a whole. Took me years to connect Akira to the Dragon Warrior world as I knew his name from the Dragon Ball / Z / GT series and I was rather surprised/happy with myself because I had never heard of it before but all my friends had known for years. Oh well.

Popular Post madbuk
#218 - Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy This is about the 5th or 6th time that I've 100%ed this game, but it was still just as enjoyable as ever. The game is a little easy, but I love collectathon platformers like this and the level design is great, and there's plenty of variety in the aesthetics too; jungles, beaches, snowy mountains, volcanoes, swamps, etc. It's a shame that II and 3 moved away from this style and gameplay, but I really enjoyed those games as well (although 1 will always be the best), so it's not too bad. I cannot wait for those games to release on PS4 so I can replay them, and I especially cannot wait for Jak X, which I never got around to playing on PS2. I will never not be salty that The Last of Us robbed us of a Jak 4. Jak would've probably been a much better game. Hopefully the fact that they're porting all the games over (apart from Daxter and TLF) means they're picking Jak 4 up again. It's long overdue.

Popular Post markcavan
#150 - Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition on PSVita (27th plat of 2017) - 47.46% UNCOMMON Enjoyment -> 5/10 Difficultly -> 5/10 Time -> 4-5 Hours Spotted this 8 bit side scrolling 2D platform shooter for €3 recently and decided to jump in. The game itself is short with 6 levels needing to be played twice in normal and hard mode to get the platinum. Its fun and challenging in parts but don't be fooled by the platinum % into thinking this is a very easy game to complete. Its not overly difficult with practice but does have some frustrating boss fights, level 4 in normal mode especially, that took me over an hour to clear. Also normal mode is much more difficult than hard mode which is odd but just the way the game is. If this gets to PS+ I would say a large number of average gamers will give up on the level 4 boss fight and this could become a rarer platinum overtime.
Popular Post Satoshi Ookami
Millennium Conqueror Obtained all trophies. And here it is! Another Kirito-kun to my collection =D Though... hard to say it if it's Kirito-kun... since this is pretty much Accel World story in ALO... But... for some reason the story worked pretty well. Now if only it didn't have Lost Song battle system :/ And god damn the grind... It seems they are making newer games more and more grindy o.O Like... 30-40 hours of content and then 70 hours of grinding? Come on, Bamco, I like playing with Kirito, but this is a bit too much =D (Especially considering I played majority of the game with Scarlet loli Rain =D) Overall, though, the game was really nice. If it had Hollow Fragment style battle, it would be even better
Popular Post caiosuperhiperat
# 70: Gravity Rush Remastered Once I got used to the controls and camera, it was a blast to play. The game is so unique! You have to play for yourself. At first I thought Kat was boring, because she had no memories and was trying to help everyone, "so cliche"... But then I started realizing how smart and funny she is, and beautiful, and CUTE ? Well, I ended up in love with the character and became a fan of the franchise. I will get the sequel as soon as possible. Playing Gravity Rush was more fun than collecting trophies. Now it will be boring staying on the ground.

Popular Post FleaSixty
Had a bit of time due to time off work so been on a bit of a roll playing through some new stuff and a bit of my backlog playing a wide variety of games: Completed 20th August: More entertaining than I expected. Some puzzles got me stumped for a bit. 6/10 Completed 21st August: Not to shabby overall, wasn't to overly fond of the controls for the camera though. 5/10 Completed 22nd August: Started the game ages ago, thought it was time to finish it, got bored and used a guide. 3/10 Completed 23rd August: Ironically couldn't be arsed with the PS3 version but had to play the PS2 version on PS4 since I got it free. Still a great game if a little dated. 7/10 Completed 24th August: Quite a good game and not what I expected but really short. 6/10 Completed 25th August: Never played an Uncharted game from start to finish before, this game hooked me in. Loved it even on crushing despite the APC and Helicopter parts being a pain in the ass. 9/10 Completed 26th August: Bought for 99 cents, didn't expect much. Some of the user created content is pretty good and worth playing.Major problems with split-screen modes though. Online seems to be well populated and I can see myself possibly playing more user created content in the future. 6/10 Completed 27th August: Quite enjoyed the story and is probably one of the better Telltale games I have played. 7/10 Completed 28th August: Adam comes across as a person with mental health issues as he keeps saying dumb stuff throughout the game, maybe the writers thought this would be amusing but it just didn't work for me. Played like a piece of cack and was pretty disappointing overall. 3/10 Completed 29th August: Only played through the game getting the trophies out of the way first, will play through the campaign over the next couple of days. #No rating No platinum but.... Completed 29th August: Bought this when was on sale months ago, started it and thought I had made a mistake but as the narrator Nigel Harrington started talking I couldn't help but feel like I needed to finish it. Short game but still enjoyable and a nice change of pace. 7/10 Rented this and was kind of gutted that all episodes hadn't been released. (Should have checked, but hey ho) 1st Episode was good then it just kinda went down hill. Based on the first episodes overall I would give it 5/10 Tomorrow I may finish up.... Although I may struggle to do so as it's not really very entertaining and I have to say the routes I have completed don't really alter much and you just have the same mundane conversation over and over.

Popular Post Maxximum
#14 Tomb Raider: Anniversary Master of Tomb Raider: Anniversary Earn all the trophies in Tomb Raider: Anniversary That's 3/3 of the Trilogy completed. The total number of trophies across the 3 games in the Trilogy - 117 trophies. Let's break this down: 63 + 41 + 10 + 3 = 117 This is a 2007 (if I'm not mistaken) Action-Adventure packed game which is a REMASTERED version of PS2 and is in HD on the PS3. It came along with TR: Legend, which is why, in my opinion, sharing the same trophy icons in the sets. This has fewer chapters (4), compared to others in the Trilogy. However, they are super long to complete. There are so many ledges to climb on and to grind on ropes, lots of swinging to do and disastrously difficult obstacles to overcome in the way. The Time Trials were harder than the ones of TR: Legend. The artifacts & relics were easier to find. The bosses were easier. Now, let me compare the 3 games in order accordingly: In terms of difficulty: 1. Tomb Raider: Underworld - 2/10 2. Tomb Raider: Legend - 3/10 3. Tomb Raider: Anniversary - 6/10 Underworld was the easiest as there were fewer trophies and the chapters were pretty straight forward. It had 179 treasures, but it was a fun journey. Cheats don't disable trophies, so you can benefit from that. You unlock them by finishing the game, completing Time Trials and the Croft Manor. My favorite was the one of "One shot, one kill", "Infinite Health", "Infinite Breath" and "Sunglasses" . These cheats are very helpful in Time Trials. Next up: Possibly FIFA 14. As you all know I only need Challenging for the platinum and it has been 3 years since challenges have been updated, but I came up with an awesome technique and exploit to get this trophy. I hope it really works .

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#168 - The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II The Ashen Chevalier Mastered Trails of Cold Steel II and earned every trophy. It took a little over 100 hours, but I finally got this done. This is a truly excellent game. Overall, I'd say I prefer the first game because of the whole school setting, and the locations were all new back then too. I think they re-used them a little too much in the sequel. Still, it doesn't feel like the first game all over again. The addition of the airship gave you a lot more freedom, and the story was on a much grander scale. I love the characters; it really feels like you're on some epic journey with them, starting with the first game. I'm looking forward to seeing them develop further in the third game.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Headlander Head Master 100% Headlander Dynamite with a laser beam, guaranteed to blow your mind. I bought this game thinking it's a joke, but damn, it's actually friggin' good! Initially I imagined Headlander as a parody of 70's sci-fi movies. Nope, it's much more than a compilation of sketches. And way better than Albedo. First of, it's genre is pure 'metroidvania'. Search every nook and cranny, come back to early locked doors with new upgrades..splendid Secondly, it's got a good story. There's a nice, dark vibe to it all, from beginning to end. There is humour in it, but appropriately sprinkled throughout. Music is awesome. Highlights including the end credits, and one crucial battle done in slow motion. That one was unexpected, and beautiful Visually the 70's science fiction really comes to life. It's colorful in just the right way, and nostalgia practically oozes from every screen you're in. I would've liked more bosses, though. There's only a couple of major fights, and they all are exciting and different from the main game. While being a head on a helmet and having to land on robot torsos to proceed sounds like a shitty idea, in reality it works and never gets campy. I think Headlander is a straight up gem. I enjoyed everything there was to it. Absolutely worth plugging your head into

Popular Post daniezutton
87 via No Man's Sky Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 Platinum Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Game Enjoyment: 8/10 This game obviously released with a shit storm of negativity. Understandable because of what was displayed in the reveal trailer, and the content "promised" prior to No Man's Sky's release. However, No Man's Sky is NOT the first game to release lacking the content "promised" or displayed; Grand Theft Auto V is the perfect example. Granted Rockstar is constantly releasing updates for the current generation of consoles and PC. No Man's Sky also falls under the same/similar sub-genre as Subnautica, Minecraft, and Ark: Survival Evolved. In short, shit happens, and at least updates for No Man's Sky are being released. I'm biased because I become overly excited about anything related to astronomy, but give the damn game a chance... or don't, whatever. oh... 88 via Dig Dug Edited August 30, 2017 by Wayne Moxxi
