Popular Post Jesaya815
#211 Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Don't Ruin The Moment Collect all the Trophies Very good game with amazing graphics. It's outstanding what Naughty Dog created here. The indian landscape was beautiful in every way, whether it be the nature or the architecture. The story of Chloe Frazer was really interesting and her growing relationship with Nadine a central theme. Listening to their jokes or conversations about all kinds of stuff never gets old. Crushing wasn't so bad, just a few complicated parts. The Helicopter Fight was the most challenging one. Such an unfair part of the game with constantly spawning enemies, while trying to get up to the Chopper.
Popular Post jacks
Platinum #87 No Man's Sky Total Perspective Vortex Platinum Enjoyment: N/A Difficulty: 1/10 (unless you want to knock yourself out and do it all in perma-death mode... feel free to add an extra 9 points on that) Oh boy, where to begin? First the borderline objectively postiive -- this is probably, hands down, the best game to play on a 4k HDR TV with wide color gamut. In the new era of PS4 Pro, this is probably up there as the poster child of the new technology, along with the likes of Infamous, Horizon and Ratchet and Clank. Truly beautiful, and I think the first time I approached at an Atlas station with its dark crimson red, jet blacks, and blinding whites, my breath was taken away. With that out of the way, I didn't assign this an enjoyment score, because it's so hard to numerically categorize my overall enjoyment with it, because, in all honesty, I'm still unsure what this game exactly is and how to exactly describe it. My time with it was fairly positive (more so when I came back to it after a year of updates), and I'm not going to list what was lied about the game's development, because hey, it's a year later and it is what it is at this point. I guess you could say my enjoyment of the game wasn't really in a traditional sense, as the game strolls the line between being a walking simulator and a Minecraft clone, while having very few of the deeper qualities that makes those games successful, ultimately ending in being an interactive lava lamp that is good for tuning out after a hard day of work, but... well... not much else. The trophy list was fairly bad, as it certainly highlighted the overall theme of the game -- grinding just for the sake of grinding, because... who doesn't like grinding?! I think how I obtained my last trophy pretty much showcases my experience of the game in a nutshell -- wandering around aimlessly for 45 minutes to get enough distance to unlock the final milestone of onfoot travel. Before that, I was farming materials for my last hyper jump (and farming is exactly what you'll be doing, and even in the new update, you can, quite literally become, well, a farmer at your new base). I'm making it seem a lot worse than it is, but I did start to feel fatigued by the end of it. I'll certainly return for future updates, as well as building my base, but even with all the elements that the game added to give you a sense of progression, so much of it feels pretty half baked still (e.g., I took out an entire Gek fleet leaving me on bad terms with them, but a couple bounty missions later, and we are all of a sudden friends again for some reason... whatever).

Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
Been awhile since my last PlayStation 3 Platinum... #88 Kingpin Unlock all Trophies in Saints Row: The Third. Platinum on 23rd September 2017 (6 months, 3 weeks, 3 days) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** "Saints Row: The Third is an open world action-adventure video game developed by Volition and published by THQ. It is the third title in the Saints Row series. As in the previous games, the player-character leads the Third Streets Saints gang in a turf war against three rival gangs using a variety of weapons and vehicles in single-player and cooperative play." - Wikipedia Before I begin the Saints Row: The Third I didn't know much about theirs background story in Stilwater so when they talk about history in Stilwater I was like..."huh" ..."hmm" ...lucky those are not heavily involved in this game and why should I care when the story is all about "Mayhem" anyway the so call story is also light hearten and unrealistic. Ironic I had a copy of SR2 for PS3 but stop playing after completed the first mission because my brother find it to be boring. This is the first game I didn't really follow the story and I "MAYHEM" throughout the campaign because I do care about the NPC or pedestrian in every open world game but when the moment I saw all those people doing some crazy stuff, I knew I can't take this game seriously and that when I starting wreck everything that getting in my way. Some of the in-game activities is hard like Cyber Blazing Trailing and Heli Assault. I manage to clear level 5 Heli Assault after lot of retry but cyber blazing trailing is really really tough for me because I'm always running out of time and it was not helped by the control mechanism so I had to use the takeover to clear the final activities, then there is also a bunch of challenges to keep me grinding toward 51 hours gameplay including DLC. For my opinion all challenges is pretty easy but some have to keep an one eye as those timid challenges can't be complete or hard to do after finished the story or fully taken over the city. Did I enjoy the my first Saints Row? I'll said "not quite" but I did enjoy the "mayhem" and why I still play? Because Saints Row IV: Re-Elected & Gat out of Hell is free from Asian PS Plus last year and the story seem to be connected to SR3 and I manage to find cheap copy of Pre-owned Saints Row: The Third Full Throttle Edition. By the way if the story is not crazy as SR then I'll try and play the series cause I hate going into the game not knowing what happen in the previous story. Hope SR4 fare a bit better than SR3 and I saw some forums said that Gat out of Hell is worst in the series. Nauticus87
#159 - 36 Fragments Of Midnight It's the same price as a drink and takes just as long to finish. At least it was competent and it looked kind of nice. #160 - Far Cry Primal I found this game to be very hit and miss. The first couple of hours were a slog. Once I had a few upgrades it started getting better. Started having a blast when I had tamed animals and the owl and could pick apart outposts in a variety of ways. Enjoyed the odd collectible hunt, finding places, saving villagers; all great. Then they hit you with an XP cap and suddenly it's pointless to explore. You find all of a certain collectible only to find that they reward you with nothing but XP. No cool new weapon or reason to find them. No reason to save anyone else. You start to realise all the locations are the same and there's nothing to find or reason to explore. No point even doing any orange mission except the skill point ones because everything else gives you zero reward. Ending on a plus point, I really enjoyed the characters, especially Urki and Dah. Was disappointed Urki's missions ended so abruptly but Dah's storyline was great. Edited September 27, 2017 by Nauticus87
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Final Fantasy XV The World Wanderer Collected all trophies Assassin's Chocobo: The Final Creed Fantasy? It's been a long time since I've played an actually great Final Fantasy game. That wait is at last over. Pretty much all the things I expect from a FF title are present here. Let the bromance begin... Characters. Four main dudes, no chicks allowed (except chocobos). Surprisingly emo free guys with great chemistry, now that's rare Open world. It's friggin' huge! There's some linear parts (towards the end), but there's A LOT of roaming to be had. Ten points for that! Soundtrack. Perhaps not THAT awesome, but fitting tunes all around. Plus, a car radio with most of the songs from past FF entries Story. Man oh man...I'm a cynical, cold bastard, but those onion-chopping ninjas got me eventually. "Stand By Me", indeed It's not like the plot is revolutionary or anything (it borrows noticeably from an old entry), but it just hit the emotional spot in me. Damn. And most importantly, Biggs and Wedge! I say this with every Fantasy, but c'mon...they're legends among men I wish the devs would've made the trophy list more challenging, though. Like catch every type of fish, complete every secret dungeon etc... Other than that, there's not much to bitch about. Oh, yes there is...loading times, what a sore for sight eyes they are Fantasies VI and IX are still my dearest video games of all, but this XV is, bluntly said, very very f**king good

Popular Post Burgins
Numba 55 The Darkness II Why was this game so short? It was a lot of fun in both campaigns and both were extremely short and super easy. Wish it was like 10 hours longer, but other than that, so much fun. Just ripping and tearing and shooting. You can feel the influence of games like Painkiller, since this game is absolutely drenched with campy, edgy, bloody goodness. And the main character looks like the protag from Prey if he was a little bit more Not Important (it's like the Hatred guy had the edge slider turned down like 3 notches and became a mob boss). Also platted Toy Story Mania prior to this but didn't feel like making a post for that shit LOL
Popular Post Meacham
#222 - Final Fantasy IX (PS4) 0.15% rarity no doubt will go up, games been released a week by the time of this post 6th Achiever! Overview With a total time of 79 hours (I played through a lot of this game) I have finally platinumed this absolute masterpiece. A game released almost two decades a go still has more replay-ability and enjoyment than most games on the market these days. The first time I played this game was over 15 years ago. I was around 8 or 9 years old. I didn't have access to the internet and I didn't have a guide so I played through blind completely. This time around I had all the options of completing things I never done before and it did not disappoint. The story is one of the best in the series. It starts off pretty quick, plan a "heist" that just unfolds and unfolds and unfolds. It's mayhem. It's classic and almost all of the characters are memorable. Zidane isn't your depressed protag, he's upbeat he's pretty much the opposite to the two protags in the two previous games from 9. I won't go into story. I know the majority will know it already but I bet there is someone out there that missed it. There were many great scenes in the game. The whole Zidane meltdown was brilliant, due to story reasons, the music fit and it was in this scene where in my opinion a great moment happened. It's when Steiner finally accepts Zidane. I think he does previous to the situation but this is when he outright said it. Most characters grew to be honest. Zidane went from cocky playboy to pretty much a mature adult. Vivi and Dagger grew as people a lot. Steiner calmed the hell down and grew to. So did Amarant. The only one's who didn't really were Freya, Eiko and Quina. They pretty much stayed the same. Freya was depressing but after Cleyra she wasn't involved much. Overall it's a brilliant game and one of my favourites, the cheats do make it easy and I did play through the game properly. Only ever using the Speed boost when travelling the world map and when farming the kills for Bloodlust. I collected all Quinas Blue Magic, got every treasure from the Chocobos. Killed the hardest boss. I done a lot that wasn't required for anything due to the fact I hadn't before and it was fun. I did use the cheats for the Excalibur 2 though. I had basically wared myself out playing it by the time I started it so just wanted to get it over and done with and nah, I'm not ashamed. Trophies Majority of the trophies are straight forward. Do this do that. You do have to set up a few early on so you don't have to do loads end game. I think the two pains to everyone will be Hail to the king & Bloodlust. Hail to the king will make prevent some players from the platinum. You have to have a lot of patience for it. The rhythym changes every so often and it can be difficult to keep up. There's a few threads on the FFIX section where you can see a few tips from other users and myself etc. Also, Bloodlust takes a long long long time. If it weren't for Bloodlust. I would of had the platinum yesterday. The maximum amount of enemies you can defeat at a time is 4. I played through the game, defeating a load of enemies, killed a lot more enemies to gain myself to level 99 and then it still took 19+ hours to grind the kills. It's typical though, after I completed it I found a very good spot at the start of the game. (I won't mention where at it's a spoiler) The rest however are pretty simple. If you play the game blind you'll miss the majority so don't stress if you do and you don't have many of the trophies. Have another playthrough and collect whatever you need. Hail to the King: Jump rope 1000 times without tripping and obtain King of Jump Rope. Bloodlust: Defeat 10,000 enemies My platinum image is when I got Excalibur 2. The cheats make it a walk in the park and it would be a lot rarer had the cheats voided the challenge but that's the hand we've been dealt and I'm grateful really. Overall Enjoyment: 10/10 Personal difficulty: 3/10

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #115: Terminator Salvation (September 18th, 2017) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement: 3/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 4 - 5 Hours Movie licensed games are generally not very good, either trying to be too much like the movie or going completely offcourse to make an abomination that has hardly anything to do from the source it borrowed from. There are a few gems that have gone beyond expectations and actually proven to be quite good games on their own. Batman on the NES for example. But unfortunately Terminator Salvation is not one of them. The game takes place in 2016 Los Angeles. John Connor has to go and eliminate terminators with the help of a few companions. That is literally all I remember on the story, because I forgot all about it by the time I was finished with Terminator Salvation. Terminator takes on a cover and movement system similar to most third person shooters. Unlike more established games like Uncharted, Terminator Salvation has awful controls and cover. Connor does not run fast, which often leads to a problem getting to cover without dying from a terminator machine. The controls feel very clunky and sloppy, it literally felt like I had a lot of weight on my shoulders because playing as John Connor was like trying to move a light tank, only he is highly vulnerable. The only enemies in the game are the iconic terminators, and the more common spider machines. With the exception of the flying machines, taking down the other enemies is a real pain. Terminators take a lot of damage before going down, there's no telling how many shotgun shells are really needed before they die. The spider machines have a weakpoint in the back, but getting to that weakpoint is easier said than done as they are usually good about spotting you, forcing you to either wait it out or hope one of your dumb AI companions take them out. I honestly don't know if I was ever able to kill a spider machine from the front, as I used up over a hundred bullets on a couple occasions without them even breaking a sweat. Unlike Demon Souls and other Souls games, killing an enemy in Terminator Salvation is a complete chore, and rather than a great feeling of accomplishment there is a heavy sigh. To make things frustrating, there is poor cover in many enemy encounters. There are literally places where I barely had any good cover from the terminators. Sometimes the terminators just walk up to you and one hit kill you. Very frustrating. That's not to mention that every time you die, you have to sit through loading screens. The loading screens are a bit lengthy and show a close up shot of a terminator's face. Which looks bad ass, but not when I have to see it every time I go through a loading screen. There are plenty of loading screens, generally taking between 10 seconds to sometimes 30 seconds. That is too long for a loading screen. Unfortunately Terminator Salvation suffers from it's share of bugs and glitches. I had my game freeze on me twice which forced me to hard reset my PS3. Not as bad as some others have had it, but very annoying. The end of Chapter 3 in the game is notably bad. Even though I was finished, the game decided not to let me move forward with the story, as one of my AI companions was frozen while a terminator was pumping bullets into her. The only solution to fix this is to restart the entire encounter again. Other times terminators got stuck within walls. Only when I brushed up against them was I given a one hit kill, because one swipe of their arm is all they need to put me down. I'm trying to remember the story, but since this game is literally bad I've basically forgotten. Doesn't really matter though, I'm not too surprised to get a bad story from a movie licensed game. Rail sections involving destroying machines while on a train and protecting a school bus from being blown to pieces are trial and error at best. Both of these sections are heavily luck based, because the controls are bad to the point where it's hard to aim at anything. The controls are so sloppy here it was a real chore to get past these rail sections. Thankfully there weren't too many rail sections, though the bad controls nearly had me yelling at my screen a couple times. I'm probably leaving a few things out that people addressed with they played this game, but I think you guys all get the idea. Terminator Salvation is a shit game, overall not quite as bad as some other movie licensed games I played in the past but it's definitely one you want to put on your shelf once it's over. If you have to play this or want to play this game for any reason, just rent it. Don't waste your money buying this game, because given the awful gameplay, bad acting, bad AI companions and very short length, Terminator Salvation has literally no replay value. Will never play this game again. Thankfully for me it's all done and over with.
Popular Post Redgrave
#113: Master of the Wildlands - Ghost Recon: Wildlands It had been a while since I had played a Tom Clancy game and I heard as far as the recent ones go this one was good. I did enjoy it for the most part but I feel like this game should have been about 15-20 hours which instead got stretched out to about 50+ hours because of the huge areas and the repetitive missions (which is a staple for Ubisoft games all things considered) that would sometimes have some variety but they were only minor. But that also does include the huge collect-a-thon that Ubisoft also likes to do. At least the collectibles were either useful or gave you some background to the setting. One of the other things I can say that was good was, at least for me, that the A.I. teammates were actually competent and they weren't annoying to deal with. Them teleporting to your vehicle was pretty convenient, and they would often border on aimbot level of shooting because they would sometimes shoot enemies that I marked that I know they couldn't see. But overall I appreciate that they weren't frustrating. That said it's a decent enough game, nothing groundbreaking. The only real slog with this game is you have to farm for resources which gets boring and tedious pretty quickly. They patched out an exploit that made it more bearable because nope we can't have that! You're going to do the repetitive convoy ambushes and you're going to like it! It's probably better in co-op though, and that seems to be the recommended way to play the game anyway.
