Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#78 - Destiny 2 "Traveller's Chosen" Obtain all trophies in Destiny 2. I wasn't sure whether - after my 1520 hours in Destiny 1 - I would end up buying the sequel... you know, burnout and such. However, for the most part, I'm glad I did. While I don't think that D2 is the highest point in the series to date (that, for me, was 'The Taken King' expansion in D1), there is a lot of stuff to love here. Good stuff about D2 include: Greatly improved story at both a macro and micro level; story-telling was much more interesting and integrated, and I cared much more for the characters Gunplay still as satisfying and rewarding as ever. Destiny's gunplay remains some of the best in FPS history imo Music and sound effects are incredible, some of the best game music I've heard (up there with Zelda and Dark Souls) Graphics, while not Horizon: Zero Dawn level, were greatly improved over D1, and many environments looked incredible. A particular late-game mission was an extremely cool example of sci-fi done right Humour and character interaction generally was very well done; some falls flat, but some planet-specific characters (Failsafe and Asher Mir in particular) were great There are a lot more 'things to do'; at least while levelling up. 10ish Adventures on each planet, Flashpoints, Lost Sectors, etc. give a lot of things to do beyond the main missions Raid - as is always the case - is a lot of fun and requires great team co-ordination. Pretty much will always be the highlight of Destiny for me personally Simple quality-of-life changes to do with rewards and loot mean that you can feel rewarded for doing pretty much anything Negatives: Lack of lore. This is actually huge for me. They said they were going to 'take the lore out of the Grimoire and bring it into the game'... and while there certainly is more info in the game than in D1, I DESPERATELY miss having hours and hours of interesting stories to read. The history of certain characters, background information on Raids, the stories like the 'Books of Sorrow' from Taken King... all gone. Sure, some armour sets and weapons (Raid, Trials, exotics) have cool and interesting information, it doesn't even come close to the huge selection from D1. A step in the wrong direction in my opinion Greatly reduced RPG elements (levelling up, grinding for rolls, 'grimoire updates', etc.). The reason I loved D1 so much is that it combined elements of FPS and RPG games in such a way that the gameplay kept me engaged from moment-to-moment, while the grind for better gear, etc. gave me a reason to keep playing. It feels like there are so many simplifications in D2 that drastically reduced the significance of the end-game for me. As it currently stands, I honestly feel like I don't really want to play most of the time; I have no reason - beyond fun - to complete the Raid and Trials again. You might say, "but isn't fun the whole point of a game?"... well, yeah, sure, but there are literally dozens of other games I can play that I would also find fun, and if there's no grind to keep me around, there's no reason for me to play 'religiously' like I used to in D1. PVP has much less variety and 4v4 - in my opinion - is not particularly enjoyable. There are literally 2 guns everyone uses (MIDA and Uriel's Gift) which are just so good that there's hardly any point using anything else (besides a few strong sidearms or other 'hidden gems'), which makes even the quickplay playlist a sweat-fest. It doesn't help that nearly every game I play solo pits me against a full fire team who teams-shots me so strongly that it's impossible to do anything. I don't mind having a 4v4 playlist (like 3v3 from D1), but I SEVERELY miss having a fun 6v6 playlist where you can just muck around :'( Relatively small gripe, but an ability to replay missions, or choose a strike, or crucible mode based on what you want to play would be very helpful. You can go a long time without getting your favourite strike or mode, and it feels lazy and frustrating a lot of the time. I've probably missed a few things, but I feel like these points summarise how I feel about the game overall. After 120 hours, I have had an extremely fun ride to this point, with all characters at 305 light, 7 wins in Trials, multiple Raid completions, Platinum achieved, etc. It's truly a great game, and is much better than D1 at launch, but I do feel like the end-game lets this game down, and turns it in to something that I don't think is a great direction for the franchise. Mixed feelings, but I definitely don't regret playing the game. Oh, and the Platinum is pretty straight forward Game rating: 7.5/10 Plat difficulty: 3/10 (some good co-ordination with a group is all that's required)

Popular Post Masamune
World of Final Fantasy True Grymoirian Obtained every trophy. This is one I regret judging by it's (chibi) looks, I got a lot more fun out of this than I was expecting. It's gameplay is basically like Pokemon, except you're battling with a party of 6, you can also "stack" 3 characters together to combine their power (I like the function, I stayed stacked 98% of the time, but it does look kinda stupid depending on your party). Story was fairly decent too, think Kingdom Hearts, just in the FF universe (which I always wanted since I first played KH). My main complaint was the whole day 1 Sephiroth DLC thing, but I'm done beating that dead horse. The plat was easy, the hardest part was the few mini game related one (which was a piece of cake compared to FFX's). Honestly, I'd take this over FFXV any day, imo it beats it in every category except graphics (but I won't lie, I am a bit of a hater when it comes to XV). Anyways, I still highly recommend checking it out if you haven't yet. Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Time Played: 66:45:40 (1 week, 4 days, 16 hours) Screenshot: Spoiler I got a pretty good screenshot too (so glad it wasn't a loading screen, about half of them were), well... if you're a Xenogears fan anyways. Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #119 Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Don't Ruin The Moment Collect all the Trophies Arguably the weakest Uncharted that ND have made. Depending on whether you give them the benefit of the doubt on the fact that U1 was their first attempt at something new, so excuse some of it's faults. Definitely the second weakest at least. Felt very paint by numbers to me. Even reusing some things. Given it was DLC originally, that's probably why. But this felt, to me at least, like what I'd expect a non-Naughty Dog Uncharted to be (when not held back by Vita). So it's kind of disappointing it came from them. The story of this was pretty good, loved getting to know more about Chloe and I think that's what carried it for me. But the way Nadine was handled in this vs U4 made me hate the story/Nadine more in U4 itself. But I won't get into that here. Gameplay was good, though I ran into more glitches than I remember in other ND games. And ffs, Nadine got in my way soooooo much. i wish they'd figure out how to avoid that. And some level design things really bothered me. Let me swing to a tree below this bridge and go all the way around this perilous edge... rather than just throw my rope across the broken bridge and around structures that could support you better than a twig tree. Mmm... ok? And there was one pile of rocks you could've climbed over, but instead they chose to go through a little path between them that required moving some wood. I don't get it. Games plz. Music was forgettable. TOO MANY COLLECTABLES UGH. I'd love them to do away with 'treasures' entirely if they replace them with optional dialog and taking pictures, because then you get new dialog. So there's something worth getting out of it. Rather than just some random object to look at that has nothing to do with anything 99% of the time. Except the odd time when a character will mention you finding a treasure, which is always nice (and there's at least one that does this in this game). A certain character felt forced in, though playing through again it was actually set up subtly. Some of the trophies were quiet annoying, and I hated Chapter 4. Hated it. I don't play Uncharted for open world exploration. I don't think it fits Uncharted at all. But it was fun, as Uncharted always is.
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni Plat #212 Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 8/10 If you played Senran Kagura games then you'll be familiar with this game. The characters are brought to an island due to a virus that over time makes them super powerful and needs to be researched and cured. I wont go too deep into the story here but I will go over the unnecessary grinding. You will do a lot of grinding for everything be it money to grind for clothes in the clothes printer, grind for 5 million XP (you need 2 million to max all characters), and grind for completely destroyed clothes. There are a number of challenges that you need to do but most of them aren't too hard and there is a survival mode as well which also isn't too hard. This is easy but very very grindy. PS The yuri fan service is there and in your face!

Popular Post Ac3NiNjA9
#8 Uncharted 4: A Thief's End One Last Time Collect All The Trophies I think the majority here have probably played this game already so I doubt I need to explain how good this game is. Personally I really enjoyed the story, the puzzles were fairly easy and the combat is super fun (especially MP). Pretty much all of the trophies were easily obtainable, but the collectibles were boring to get since I left them for last. Not sure how it would work but some sort of collectible mode would've been nice.

Popular Post Yoey_666
#184 - Assassins Creed Liberation HD So this was a short one. It is a decent vita port, but I ran into many bugs and had to replay half of the story due to one trophy not popping. Also there was no really background. The game literlally started with the main character saying "The night is for more things than sleep" and you started the game as assassin. Anyway, a decent, short and enjoyable game. On to the next part. Edited October 1, 2017 by Yoey_666

Popular Post DamagingRob
#262- XBlaze Code: Embryo Successor to the Azure Completed XBLAZE Well, things definitely could have gone better.. But a glitch forced me to replay the game on a new save. Going through all the routes with skipping didn't take that long, though. Thankfully, that's all I had to do. Saving and loading for all of those recap things again, would have been fairly annoying. I still enjoyed this one. Music, story, and characters were all good. Kuon has overtaken Es as my favorite. Maybe it was the raunchy shower scene.. Or I just like her personality. But yeah, definitely my fav.
Popular Post Karl-Kai
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments Perfectionist As a fan of Sherlock Holmes, I’m always happy to play a good Holmes game. Since I had previously enjoyed The Testament of Sherlock Holmes on PS3, it was a no-brainer to get this Crimes and Punishments as well. I really liked this game! The first time I played through it I didn’t pay attention to the trophies, so now I popped in again to collect the few missing ones. Instead of a quick clean-up I ended up playing the whole game fully from start to finish, having lots of fun. I do enjoy detective stories and puzzles, after all. I think Crimes and Punishments is a very entertaining game --- and I wasn’t bothered by the fact that sometimes Mr. Holmes decided that it was more reasonable to fly over a gate rather than walk through it and such (technical hiccups of the funny kind happened at times).

Popular Post yellowwindow7
Don't Ruin the Moment / Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as long as it doesn't have any kind of online trophies then it's a super easy platinum, what you need to worry about is the crushing difficulty which it could made you rage quit the game from time to time and speaking of crushing... people who are new to Uncharted 4 and TLL and heard all the praise going toward them, let's just say you wanted to play and rate these games personally "Do Not Play These Games On Crushing on your first playthrough" you'll going to grow hating them with a passion and probably will gonna rate them 4 out of 10 or something, the checkpoint is very messy on crushing, enemies appear out of no where from thin air and kills you in 2 hits when you get spotted, enemies hand grenades had a hilarious wide range of explosions while yours felt like throwing a fire cracker in the middle of a group of people. now, putting that aside, i must say in a very tiny bit that i kinda liked the lost legacy more than Uncharted 4 only in terms of gameplay, story wise uncharted 4 is way much better than TLL. also i think i'm the only person out there who liked the open world in chapter 4? not that i wanted the future games in the series to go open world ( naughty do stated that Jak 3 to be the last open world game they'll ever made ) but i actually really liked the way you drive to different places collecting the tokens and fighting the enemies and exploring. i never liked Nadine in U4, kinda grow hating her when seen the mighty dynamic duo "the Drake's bros" who murder an entire fleet army of fully armed soldiers been slapped left and right by her and they couldn't even land a hit on her, but in this game when i saw her funny side and how she's not expert on anything outside of fighting, this have actually gave her some personality and i ended up really liking her now. the game is very short compared to U4 ( supposed to be a story DLC for U4 ) it may took you around 30 hours to 100% or even less, it's priced around $35 and i must say it worth every penny!
