Popular Post Terra
103 - Corpse Party Blood Drive Finality Obtained all other trophies Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 This game had good promise and a good beginning but I failed to play the games before this so I felt lost throughout the entire game, trying to piece everything together when the game assumes I've played Corpse Party and Book of Shadows. I did like the characters and the dialogue is very realistic so I related to their personalities. As a horror game, Heavenly Host Elementary has a great creepy atmosphere to it but the continued phantom jump scares dilute the scares later in later chapters. My major issue with this game is all technicals. The frame rate and loading times are slow (ten seconds to just load a menu!) and the poor running mechanic should have been removed all together. What's worse? Errors! I crashed three times during the final fight in Chapter 10 and having to re-do the segment again and again to get the remaining endings ticked away my enjoyment. Overall, as the first game in the series for me, it left me more confused then satisfied and the amount of errors and slowness lowered my enjoyment. If I had played the previous games I probably would have enjoyed this more but alas, it was just average.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#271- Killzone 3 Platinum Collect all Killzone 3 trophies It really pains me that this game ends on an unresolved cliffhanger.. So much so, that I have little interest in ever getting Shadow Fall. But this was a really nice game... when it worked. I have played hundreds of games on my Super Slim PS3, and not had anything like what happened with this game happen with any other. As soon as I would start it up, it would freeze. This led to waiting for a rebuilding of my PS3's database, which took about 10 minutes. I lost hours of playtime to these. The only way I could get around the problem was at first, to download the patch via the Multiplayer menu after launching the game. Now, this only worked a couple of times, before I ended up having it freeze again.. New solution, which seemed to work every time: switch to my alternate account, and download the patch with it. Then switch back to my main account, and launch the game. I don't think this ever failed, but my memory isn't all that great. It may have at least once. But 9 out of 10 times, it worked. But I had to delete and redownload the patch almost every time I played the game, so I'm very glad to be done with it. Other than that, I did enjoy the campaign. And as I said, am very disappointed the characters we followed through three games are just dropped in the PS4 installment.. Elite difficulty was rough, though. I may just suck at shooters, but it didn't feel all that easier than Killzone 2. If it even was. Again, shoutout to @Charizard for pulling me back into the series. May have just left them alone, otherwise. Edited October 28, 2017 by Ditto
Popular Post snakebit10
#229 Valley Valley is a interesting little title from the makers of Slender (I haven't played Slender). It has some nice platforming and it looks great. The mechanics are interesting in when you die the Valley looses life. I was really surprised and did like it a lot. Only thing is for a small game there is a ton of collectibles. So check it out if you find it on sale.

Popular Post Meacham
#224 & #225 Double stack on the PS4 and PS3. Borderlands Defender Round Two Overview of my completion. This game is a lot better than I remember it to be. I remember playing it not long after release and thought that I didn't enjoy it that much. I started this on the PS4 and was gutted I got so far into it before I learned that the cross saves worked between the PS4 to the PS3 and not just the PS3 to the PS4. So I pretty much finished my second playthrough on the PS4 before I uploaded my save to the PS3. That in turn lead to an extra playthrough on the PS3. There are some great points to this game. The random guns is a major major good thing for this series. It's unbelievable how many guns there are on the game and the fact that every box with a weapon inside is randomised. That's brilliant in my opinion, so you basically can't run off straight away and open a certain box for a certain badass weapon. The same goes for Shields, Grenade mods and class mods. It's always great to see what loot you get. I did think that halfway through the game you've pretty much seen the same enemies constantly just with different names and abilities. There isn't that much variation to be honest. There are some super annoying enemies in the games and my personal 2 dislikes in terms of enemies were the Rakk (although the majority of the time a one shot kill) they're still flying around annoying everyone in site. My other least favourite has to be the shielded nomads. They're just annoying., You come across them quite a lot. Before I forget I'll add a third. The night stalker enemies that go invisible are actually the worst, cause they attack and then camouflage and then run off. The game overall isn't too hard and the DLCs were pretty much a walk in the park. Characters The characters on this game are actually hilarious. Some people may find them actually more annoying than funny but I don't know what it was. Most of them had me laughing. The three main funny ones are Jack, Claptrap, Scooter and Tina. Scooter probably had some of the best lines to be honest. Like his Poem sidequest which is hilarious. Other than them, everyone else is pretty much serious. Brick had some funny lines in the Tina DLC and Mr. Torgue is absolutely hilarious but he's a DLC character. I won't go into much detail about characters and their stories or whatever as it's best to see for yourself but it's really good. DLC Out of the 4 DLC packs. I only really liked the two. Mr. Torgues arena and Tinas fantasy board game thing. The scarlett one is okay but I spent more time travelling around then actually doing any quests. Scarlett is okay as a character and final boss was okay but too easy. The sub bosses were harder for the side quest trophies but once you got past a certain level were actually pretty simple. The same can be said for the Hammerlock DLC, it's pretty much the same thing as the first one. The torgue DLC was all about the arenas. Basically waves of enemies just coming at you, there is a story but it's pretty short in comparison. The best DLC though had to be tinas. There's a lot of effort spent into that one I thought from the new areas to the new enemies and the new chest that you have to spin to get good loot. I won't go into any of it as it's post game but the DLCs are pretty fun to have. Trophies Trophies are all simple. Getting to Level 50, story trophies, side mission trophies & character specific with some misc. The hardest one has to be to beat terramorphus which I'd suggest leaving until like last. It's pretty tough but if you can get the shotgun conference call it's pretty simple actually as that does some crazy damage. Other than that everything is simple. Even on the DLC it's all pretty much self-explanatory and simple. Overall Enjoyment: 8/10 Overall Difficulty: 3/10 I do have one suggestion when it comes to playing this game. Don't play it alone, the games very doable solo as that's how I did it. You'd have a lot more fun doing it with someone else in your party also. The game is pretty much most appreciated in TVHM basically new game+
Popular Post madbuk
#227 - Psychonauts I never got around to playing this when it first released on PS2, so I'm glad to have finally had the chance (and with trophies too!) I don't think it has aged perfectly, the jumping, and movement in general really, felt kind of floaty and definitely PS2-era. If you can go into the game accepting that it is a PS2 game though, it's great fun. Took me a while to get into it, and I wish there had been more sections like Meat Circus where it's just pure platforming instead of all the running around finding items and solving basic puzzles to progress, but there was enough platforming that it wasn't a huge letdown. The figment collectibles were also rather annoying because they're so transparent that you could be looking right at one and not notice it if you're not looking at it from the correct angle, but they were satisfying to collect anyway (as were all the collectibles.) I'm excited to see what Psychonauts 2 will offer and I'm glad it was successfully funded.

Popular Post JaM
#202 Omega Quintet Platinum Trophy Obtained all trophies.. Have you ever wish that Producing Perfection has different gameplay and more like the usual HDN game? Good news, this game is for you. Well.. that's interesting. There are monster coming out of nowhere and what do people need? Yep... Idols. Have them lift your morale and better, make them fight these monsters and protect you. Stuffs to say I guess... I was really unsure at first since I might be bored immediately since there are only 5 playable characters and all of them are in your party early but surprisingly, I didn't mind - I had fun on spamming Cosmic Fan it's gameplay. The OST is great for me though, pretty sure I survived it's grind thanks to it.That Battle theme alone can make me listen to it over and over again. The characters are "ok" I guess. Unfortunately, I might forget their name most of the time and might probably just say when someone ask me about this game, I would just remember that it has a character that is definitely Noire 2.0. And there's the story... It has some interesting build up and then it ended(?) without really having closure, I guess it makes it open for a sequel but I dunno... I am not really satisfied with how it end. The most fun part - getting the plat. 3 words: Missables - Grindy - Resets. The missable are definitely not fun. The collectibles are not that bad, it only has 2 missable thing.. and there's the quest. It is quite frustrating that my 10 hours of gameplay went to waste when 1 of the subquest expired when I accidentally finished one Main quest. HDN is known for having some unnecessary grindy stuff and it's no surprise that this one will have too. But it is actually not bad, I thought I will spend lots of hours maxing the affections, defeating 10k monsters and 1B approval rating but once you know where to grind them, very doable. And the most frustrating part - Order Break. Ugh... sooo cheap. It came to the point where it comes to luck if you will move first, before the enemies, and defeat them before they even have a turn cause else.... you're screwed, and yep, your level doesn't matter thanks to their cheapness. TL;DR - has a potential in the story but the ending is unsatisfying to me. Great OST. The characters are ok, not really that memorable. Trophy-wise: Grindy, requires you to check a guide first to avoid missing anything and making you do another run and a bit frustrating thanks to it's cheapness. Would recommend if you want to play a game like the other HDN games with different characters and if you have a patience. Popular Post Jesaya815
#217 The Evil Within Learn to Survive Survived the nightmare, and everything in between. As a huge fan of the The Evil Within I might be a little biased, but the sequel was just as great as the first one. The characters were very well written this time. The story was much deeper and got really emotional without being cheesy or anything like that. Although Shinji Mikami wasn't in charge of it anymore, the developers did a great job continuing his work while mixing it with new stuff (like having chapters with an open-world aspect). It's also a bit easier than TEW 1, but still hard nonetheless. Especially Classic Mode can get more frustrating than Akumu in my opinion, because it's not just a certain section you have to repeat, but rather everything you've done since the last save as there are only 7 saves allowed during the 17 chapters.

Popular Post Omar
#121 - Final Fantasy IX Heroes of Gaia - Collect all trophies .Achieved: October 28th, 2017 .PSNP's RS: Ultra Rare .Difficulty: 2 .Enjoyment: 9 Final Fantasy IX was for me what Final Fantasy VII was for most of the fanbase: the entry point into the series. To this day, I firmly believe that not many games have such a glorious portrayal of life values like acceptance, overcoming of loss, finding one's identity and many others. I will not talk about well-known aspects like story, combat or music because we all know they're all excellent. The trophy set itself is a much more overarching ensemble than FFVII's was, by a mile. Most of the list is quite fair, with trophies related to minigames certainly not being as bad as some people claim them to be (26 attempts is all it took to jump 1389 times over that rope lol). However, some planning must be taken into consideration if you want an efficient trophy journey (watch out for ATEs!). The one trophy that stuck out like a sore thumb was one asking for 10.000 kills, which is way more than what any player will get during their time with the game, meaning the kills have to be specifically gathered, and it's a tiny bit tedious. Other than that, the trophy set forces you to do and inspect pretty much everything and you'll have a blast doing so, because game is a total charmer Now, I have decided to follow this up with a game many have spoken about, but one I have never tried. It may be my first time jumping into this game and franchise, but I am by no means holding back wish me luck!

Popular Post Bullstomp
Wheel of Fortune Wheel Fanatic 5.79% Difficulty - Absolutely Luck Dependant, based on my experience 9 of 10(see below) Fun Factor - Also luck dependant, based on my experience 1 of 10 First of all, I love trivia games. I tend to crush them. And people who follow TV trivia games will almost universally say Jeopardy is more difficult than Wheel of Fortune. Yet now after achieving both platinums I believe the Wheel of Fortune video game is ridiculously harder than Jeopardy. Why? Extremely luck based trophies and shitty programming. Allow me to explain. Bankrupt. There is at least two, sometimes three, Bankrupt wedges on the wheel that will cost you all accummulated money for that round AND any prizes as well. DESPITE ONLY REPRESENTING LESS THAN 10% OF THE WHEEL WEDGES, THE WHEEL WILL LAND ON BANKRUPT >40% OF THE TIME ON A FULL STRENGTH SPIN. In fact I had instances where I landed on Bankrupt FIVE times in a single round. Not just one instance. Multiple instances!? As I eluded to above, the solution to this issue is double tapping X at minimum strength. Doing this will save you a lot of frustration as you try to win/unlock trophies. Instant Millionnaire - To unlock this bitch of a trophy you need to land on the million dollar wedge( the smallest wedge on the wheel and coincidentally surrounded by BANKRUPT wedges?) , guess a correct letter to take the wedge, win that round, AVOID BANKRUPT UNTIL THE FINAL ROUND, spin the final wheel (24 WEDGES on the final wheel) and get lucky enough to land on that wheels million dollar envelope. Wait. You still aren't done. You get the letters RSTLNE, then guess 3 additional consonants and 1 vowel and have to successfully guess the puzzle... Based on the vast number of other trophies, the game was fun. However with the crap-ass Bankrupt programming and my extreme lack of luck DOUBLED how long this platinum took me. With all the hurdles required just to get a chance to spin the final wheel with the million dollar wedge I almost quit multiple times. I had to land on the million dollar wedge 43 times, navigate to the final round and then finally, FINALLY, land on the million dollar wedge on the final wheel. So in summary FUCK THIS GAME. I have never enjoyed deleting a game from my hard drive more than this one.

Did I forget something important? This game is part of the Ys action JRPG series developed by Nihon Falcom, and details the journey of the main character Adol Christin in the forest of Celceta as he explores to retrieve his memories. This is my first Ys game and I enjoyed the story, characters, the fast paced action battle system and its classic RPG gameplay. For me this is an enjoyable platinum and nothing too difficult. The main tedious parts are losing some gold due to a status ailment and mapping the whole game. I'm glad to get into this series and another memorable RPG adventure has come to an end. Will be looking forward to playing other games in the series. Until next adventure! Favorite OST: Edited October 29, 2017 by fantrig99
Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Plat # ???...Plat Rain #6 Remember Me Finally got around to playing this for the Plat Rain and I am so torn on this platinum. I REALLY loved the game at the beginning but as I played more of it the little things became big things and I ended up getting more and more down on it. It is still a good game...but it could have been great. The Good The music was fantastic throughout the whole game. Seriously one of my favourite gaming soundtracks in a long time. It really added to the Cyberpunk feel the game had going on and was a joy to listen to. The Atmosphere as well was fantastic. I liked the world that was created and I will actually talk about that more in the bad. The world around you gave off this fantastical vibe that made you want to learn more about the lore and how we got to this way of being. The combo creation was good and added to the gameplay...but...let us move on to the bad. The Bad As I said I enjoyed the combo creation but I think while it added to the gameplay it wasn't developed far enough that it added a substantial amount to the gameplay. I wish instead of just 4 different Pressins you actually could customize your combos and attach gun attacks in there or aerial attacks or anything else. So often my combos would get interrupted because you are being attacked from all sides (including above) and I found relying on my 3 hit combo was the only way to get anything done and that isn't a fun way to get through the game The atmosphere was so good that I wanted to know more about it. I would pass by shops that would have this little floating sign...but you couldn't do anything at it. Why couldn't this game have incorporated some RPG elements that allowed you to shop at stores for upgrades or anything like that. Also this game makes such a big deal about the memories and different class systems but you barely get to see any of that. If the world was expanded on more maybe we could have seen more memory hunters, how the citizens feel about what is happening, the resistance, more with the leapers...anything. We just kept getting thrown into set pieces and were told "things happened off screen" and I just had to believe them. There were all these characters that I got introduced to...only for them to completely disappear. And then the "twist" OK I am not going to spoil the game but MAN that was a weak ass twist. I ruled that twist out because it was so stupid...and then they did it. I mean everything was so easily solved and even after you manipulate memories...people just change their whole perspective. I mean (look in the spoiler tags for the rest of my rant) Spoiler all Nilin had to do was talk to her dad and none of this would have happened? Her mom really went to destroy the world because she got in a car accident and blamed their daughter. Even if both her parents changed their minds...the world is already complete shit. I mean there is no turning back after the decade of destructing that their company put the world through. And is it even the whole world or just New Paris? I mean what a stupid waste of a cool story concept. So in conclusion a good game with some annoying flaws that brings it down in my eyes

Popular Post Eyjabria
Gravity Rush (PS Vita) It's all Relative Collected every trophy. Congratulations! I wouldn't have thought I'd plat this game one day. I last played Gravity Rush in July 2016. I was only missing the 40 000 gems and silver and gold for all the challenges trophies. I was content with not ever being able to get gold or even silver in some of the challenges. This weekend I felt like trying it again, inspired by Gravity Rush 2 which I platted recently. I had already forgotten how rage inducing the challenges are! Not sure if it's Vita's or the game's fault but the sliding challenges were driving me insane. When trying to slide in the timed races, the game regularly interprets two fingers pressing on the screen as a swipe, which causes Kat to make an evading move - even 6 times in row. Technical/control issues aside, Gravity Rush is a really nice game to experience. The story is told in a unique comic book style, the characters are well designed, music is good, environments look great and most importantly the gameplay is interesting. Shifting gravity is fun and really gives you a rush. If you don't have a Vita, I recommend trying the remastered version on PS4.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Fallout 4 Platinum Trophy Collect all other 50 Trophies for this Trophy Quite a feat, to pickpocket a robot that doesn't have pockets. War never changes, but Fallout games do...for the better! I still just absolutely love the post-apocalyptic setting. Every new Wasteland offers new tricks to survive, and it doesn't get old. The sheer size of Commonwealth (F4's "world") is almost too overwhelming. There's exploring for dozens (hundreds?) of hours, at least. Nothing's restricted, either. You can go wherever you want/dare, side with any faction you fancy, decide your own play style Theoretically Fallout 4 never ends. Level cap is in hundreds, building settlements takes dedication...and blowing stuff up with a Fat Man rocks! About this settlement building...I do feel like it's a bit tacked on, since it doesn't serve much purpose in the game. Besides getting a few trophies. I could have lived without getting every settler new beds, food and electricity. It's too Sim City etc. for me, plain boring On a very positive note, guns and armor no longer break with use! I hate that in games, lessens the fun. Goodbye, repair kits What's even more delightful is that no freezes or slowdowns occurred when my save file exceeded over 10 MB (or so). I remember in Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, that when a save file got too big those games became unplayable. PS4 4 life Thank God I still have tons of DLC's to plow through. I still want more of this good stuff, radiating myself with filth and mole rats! Fallout 4 offers a huge open world, addicting looting, billion different weapons and some Bob the Builder stuff. Get it, love it, Nuke it

Now, one year after that, I finally got around to get all gold ships -- which was almost as painful as getting Honour Upheld since some of the challenges are so tough and rage inducing.
