Totally agree, the lack of exploration and combo system limited to short combos due a poor implemented design (tiny combat areas mixed sometimes unfriendly camera, etc) hurt this product a lot. By mini-games did you mean things like Save the Bar or the Remixs...because that was actually kind of fun. I mentioned the tight corridors in one of my status rants. There was one in Episode 6 where you fought 2 gun robots, 2 Elite Enforcers (the ones that hurt you when you hurt them) and one enforcer. Then after you beat those 5 another group runs in. Of course if you die you lose all your focus you had built up from previous areas so it becomes a real gong show to get it done

Popular Post milanbarca82
Platinum #377 Everybody's Golf (PS4) Push it to the Limit! Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 As a long time fan of the Hot Shots Golf series, I'd say i'm kinda underwhelmed with this one but still enjoyed it nonetheless. Also, I am not digging the art style of the characters, it looks like a Mii ripoff. A pretty good game in the series but not the best. Good that you liked it Yeah the only thing I didn't like about the remixs is how precise you had to be with the rewinding. If you were a milisecond off the glitch would disappear. I was constantly rewinding/fast forwarding and then quick PAUSING to get that glitch to show up. Still fun though

Popular Post Alternatewarning
Plat #22: Sky Clad Observer Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I honestly can't say why it took me oh like 7 months to finish this game. This game, this story is so good but it does take a little bit to get into it, and I think that was the issue. I wasn't into it yet so I kept dropping in and out until it really hit its stride and then I didn't want to put it down. This is a great visual novel for anyone who really like the science fiction genera and who wants to try visual novels but isn't really into the idea of an otome-style game. It's all story, and it's all good story. Once you get into it. No spoilers but man. Those endings were so good. So painfully good. Popular Post Superbuu3
#183: Sheltered Hardcore Survivalist Unlock all Trophies I played this game due to the similarity between this and 'This War of Mine: The Little Ones' and another game in the Team17 bundle (I think I have obtained all the platinums in that bundle now). Its another shelter management although this has light RPG elements with basic turn based combat. Another platinum that would've been impossible without a guide thanks to @Pikachu without the advice of choosing the Goldfish and even if I did I don't think I'd have found the connection as to how that would crack the code. If you liked This War of mine you'd likely like this, if you don't like micromanagement stay far away. Popular Post Katt
SAINTS ROW: GAT OUT OF HELL Scorched Savior Collect all other Saints Row: Gat out of Hell trophies Yeah! this is a great example of collectibles and challenges done right! Too short but absolutely fun, I never get tired of Gat being Gat. Still, I don't remember farming kills that much in previous SR games, maybe because the game is so short and you can't replay survivals to farm kills, but killing demons near the Sinterpol HQ did the trick. I didn't rush in get the platinum, I did it in 17 hours. That's 3 hours of AFK playtime, kek. So... which one is the canon ending? Saints Row V when? Maybe Saints Row collection for PS4?

Popular Post ExHaseo
#122 - Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroine's Infinite Duel I bought this game a few months ago, when it was on sale, and kind of forgot about it. Since .hack//GU Last Recode is coming out Nov 3rd, I was trying not to get too into any other game, so I finally grabbed this off the shelf. Overall, it was a pretty good game, I'm kind of surprised. I expected an enjoyable, but overall mediocre experience, and I got a little bit more. The fighting system was surprisingly fun and while there wasn't a whole lot of content, and the trophies weren't too difficult, I thought it was enjoyable the whole way through. Which is pretty rare for a plat, especially a fighting game. Usually there's a lul, or a bit of a grind, but not so much here. Which was great. Not sure what I'm going to do now though. Still another 5 days until .hack, and I'm not sure if I want to snag a couple more short plats like this, or if I just want to take a break from trophy hunting until .hack comes out. I was thinking of making .hack a milestone, but I can't remember if every 25 plats is a milestone, or if it's every 50, after 100 total. x_x

Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Plat 199 - LittleBigPlanet When I bought my PS3 all those years ago I got a couple of games with it. I got inFAMOUS, Bioshock, Ratchet & Clank Tools of Destruction and LittleBigPlanet. I am happy to say I have now platted (or in the case of R&C ToS beaten) all those original games now. Even though I owned a PS1 and PS2 I was a diehard Nintendo fan. I got a PS3 because I got a great deal on one but I was very happy with my Wii. I played through R&C because I love Ratchet and I beat the good version of inFAMOUS as well as played the beginning of Bioshock but not really beyond that. I was really confused by those things that kept popping up while playing those games though so after googling what they were I discovered they were trophies. I didn't really care about them at the time and actually found it kind of annoying that they kept dinging when I did stuff. Now if you notice I played 3/4 of my new games but didn't really touch LBP. I finally decided to throw it in (after 100% Super Mario Galaxy) and found it to be a platformer with really wonky jumping mechanics. I played through the intro level and liked it well enough but it wasn't until you got a few levels in that something in it changed. The part in the video really just stepped the game up for me. All of a sudden that song hits and all the mechanics come to life. You are left with this..."Mario doesn't do this" kind of feel and you want more Well I kept playing the game but I got annoyed at Boom Town and by that time R&C Crack in Time had come out so I moved on to that. I didn't really go back to the game but it was always one of those that stuck in my mind. Flash forward a couple of months and I am working for Sony now. Now I am being given free games all the time and I really start to see what Playstation has to offer. That summer I am at the Sony conference and I am playing all the new games and I get a chance to play LBP2 early. Now LBP2 has one of my favourite trailers ever and I showed it off at every demo I ran and every time I was in stores I would be showing it off. Mario couldn't do what this game was doing and when I finally got a chance to play the game it was a blast. It was one of the few times that a sequel felt like a sequel. Usually sequels change very little from the successful first game and just add a different story campaign and different levels but LBP2 took everything that was great about LBP and added so much more to it. It truly felt like a new game that adds to the old one instead of merely copying it. It then went further adding in Move control and later Cross Play with the vita Fastforward again to my final Playstation conference where I got to play the Vita version and here is where I said "holy shit...this is the definitive version of LBP" It added so much to the game with the touch control and the aforementioned cross-play. Mario never did this...when Nintendo released a sequel it felt like a DLC pack instead of a brand new game...but with every LBP game it felt like a brand new adventure that built on that previous success. It is a shame that LBP3 had that horrible online because the actual game was once again this beautiful collection of levels and powers that made the adventure so much fun to go through. The other thing LBP did better than other platformers is taking all of its assets (levels, characters, humour, and especially the music) and made the games all seem like these epic adventures. MM also never dumbed down on the difficulty and instead encouraged you to learn their levels and get better at them if you wanted that sweet So as I neared #200 I was looking for a game to make #199 and I decided on finally finishing up the LittleBigPlanet series. It was that moment 8 years ago playing Skate to Victory that made me realize what this game was capable of...and I think that is the perfect game to bring me into my 200th platinum. So thank you Media Molecule for not only giving us all these great games but also introducing me to a lot of great music as well. I discovered Passion Pit and Stealing Sheep through their trailers and loads of other songs playing through their games.
Popular Post yellowwindow7
All Trophies / Riptide GP2 not a bad mobile racing game but it could've been better. the game have this "realistic water physics" but outside of that if you bump into an object that is not water it'll felt like if you're inside a pinball machine, also water racing games sucks big time when it comes to sharp turns and this one is no exception. the A.I of the CPU racers is really annoying, it have a bad habit of trying to bump at you each time you boost or when trying to take a sharp turn. for a jet ski game this one lacks some of the basic tricks seen on other games like it, for example you can't dive under water after landing to avoid a huge waves that you don't want to jump them and lose a precious time, diving in this game is actually a part of an in-game glitch somehow as it will slow you down or most of the time it will puts you in a complete stop or will send you driving to the wrong way. the platinum is fairly easy and there's no online related trophies BS here, but if you want this game then i recommend you to wait for a price drop or if you don't care for trophies then just get it on your phone or your tablet since it's free to download there. speaking of jet ski racing games, it would be awesome if someone just remastered Splashdown 2 and bring it to the ps4. 14 minutes ago, Dr_Mayus said: Plat 199 - LittleBigPlanet When I bought my PS3 all those years ago I got a couple of games with it. Popular Post RedRodriguez87
All Trophies Collected! So to prep for Sonic Forces, I decided to go ahead and revisit another game I had on my old account. And like I said in my feed, this game could have been SO much more than what it was. I mean, it does alot right; the idea of old and new Sonic teaming up is neat, the select levels chosen were represented good, the soundtrack is great as always. There are alot of good ideas on display. However, I feel the gameplay could've used more polish, at least for the PS3 version. There was many a times when my button presses never registered, and as for the final boss, well, you can my trophy post for how I feel about that crap. Its the presentation that really squanders the potential though. First off, Classic Sonic, the main draw of this game, just feels so...... uneeded. In terms of gameplay, he plays like a more drawn out slower version of Modern Sonic's 2d segments (seriously, if you are gonna bring back the classic formula, you don't NEED to have remnants of it in the modern one), except, for reasons I just don't buy, they DON'T replicate the old genesis physics, which means we are left with a slower clunkier version of it. For fanservice, there isn't even a whole lot of that. He's completely mute, which was a HUGE missed opportunity to bring back a prior Sonic voice actor ie Jaleel White, Ryan Drummond, Jason Griffith.... and let's not try to explain it away that he was mute in the old games, as Classic Tails and Classic Robotnik have no problems talking. Speaking of which, why just those two? No Classic Amy? Classic Knuckles? Next is the plot, or rather lack therof. Everything is quite literally just thrown in with no thought or care involved against a blank white canvas, lazily following the chronological order of the series. I mean, why not be creative? Do something like have the Chemical Plant be connected to Stardust Speedway since the two look visually similar, or end Sky Sanctuary with the Sonics jumping into the Death Egg ala S3&k, and have CS deal with the Egg bot while maybe Sonic deals with the Egg Dragoon? But then again, it might be hard to do so, since we get don't have alot of diversity level wise, what with 4 city levels and 3 grass levels. You know its a shame that as fun this game CAN be, you could still make the argument that its the best Modern Sonic game in comparison to the others. Not that we should feel too disappointed though, as even though they had a good template to work with here, Sonic Team would feel the need to switch it up YET AGAIN with Lost World and Boom. Ah well. Bring on Sonic Forces. I guess.

Popular Post Masamune
Heroes of Gaia Collect all trophies. Ahh... this game brought back such nice memories. I don't care what people say, this is still one of the best FF game available today (great story, characters, gameplay, music... an ace in all categories really), I would play this 10 more times before I even thought about touching XV again. The first playthrough (no cheats) took a little over 57 hours (16 of that is just kill grinding), I ended up doing the remote play trick for the jump rope trophy (& I don't blame anyone else who does so either). I did just about everything possible in it too (besides collecting all the cards), so I think I made pretty good time. The second playthrough though (with high speed, no encounters, & 9999 damage) was kinda surprising, I managed to get to the final save point & get Excalibur II in just 4 hours... Even with the cheats, I didn't think you could get past the entire game that quick (I probably could've went a little quicker too, although not by much). Difficulty: 3/10 (this changes dramatically if you try to do the 1000 jump rope trophy legitly, if so... it's probably at least an 8/10) Enjoyment: 9.5/10 (a small deduction for the absurd amount of kills needed) Time Played: 61:23:20 (1 week, 5 days, 23 hours) Screenshot: Spoiler ...that damn trophy icon glitch again. This is the second Platinum that this has happened to as well (a lot of normal trophies too), what the hell it causing it?! *sigh* ...fine, to Photoshop once again (Sony really needs to fix this s**t). There, fixed... again. Spoiler

Also my newest fastest platinum with 11 hours and 28 minutes. Storywise the game was fun and you Need to defeat Thanatos himself the death to rescue your brother which was separat from you since Kratos was a child. #77 God of War 2 (PS3) Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5 Time: 15 hours With this platinum I finally finished all God of War games and I´m ready for the new adventure of Kratos. This game was the easiest game to Play through since you don´t Need to finish it on a specific difficulty but the challanges of the Titans were really hard for me and I don´t know why. Storywise God of War 2 is the beginning of the end. Kratos prepare himself to climb the Olympus to defeat every God in Greek.
