Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#220 - Dreamfall Chapters An adventure game that sort of mixes interactive drama (like Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls) and the Telltale choice evaluation. The voice acting is fantastic and dialogues have a lot of provide quite a few funny moments. That's pretty much the best thing about the game though. While the story is interesting for the most part, it feels like something is missing if you didn't play the previous games of the series.. The ending kind of sucks as well. Graphically it's a bit underwhelming, which is bit of a shame. One thing I didn't expect was the amount of swearing in this game as well as the amount of sexual references. Popular Post snakebit10
#230 Far Cry Primal Apex Predator Started out as a cool idea and fun. Thought for a minute it may even be somewhat like Horizon Zero Dawn. It didn't last long. There is a lack of weapons, the story is told through sub titles and it gets very repetitive. The end grind for xp to get all skills was tedious to say the least. I know it sounds like I hate the game. I don't, it is just some things that could be better. I really liked the setting for the game and the graphics are awesome. The game plays great and I didn't encounter any bugs or glitches.

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #123 Cars: Race-O-Rama Trophy Collector! Earn every trophy. Mediocre game, but hey. It's no loss for me, I played it on PS Now. There are some fun parts of this game, but there's also some horrendously "Did they even playtest this?" parts. Kart racing is horrible, you spin out if you breathe wrong and you get stuck so much on stuff. I got stuck on a stupid tire and couldn't move at all for a good 20 seconds. Fun. And the hitboxes and collision are horrible too. Not so bad on regular race tracks, the speedway parts are the funnest in the game since you don't get stuck on tiny rocks, or things you'd think you'd just destroy to drive though... and the AI can easily make you spin out and act as tanks so you can't do the same for them. Fun. Worst part is that if you're even slightly in the air from a tiny bump, you have literally no control at all. And tehre's lots of bumps in most tracks, so you're just flying all over the place and slamming into walls unless you go super slow and then you can't win since for beginner the AI isn't really too forgiving, unless it's a super easy track. But yeah, it looks pretty decent for a movie tie-in. Car models particularly. There's quite a bit of pop-in for the open world hubs, and larger tracks. And the final track has some stuttering that really annoyed me. The 'story' is incomprehensible, but fine for a framing device. Voices talk too damn much, like every 5 seconds someone is talking during the race and it's obnoxious. Luckily there are voice sliders. Was worth the time at least. Even if I wanted to kill myself at a few frustrating points, like getting to the literal final turn my second attempt in a race only to be completely out of control from a tiny hill and slam into a wall and flip around and be passed by literally all the other cars instantly. ._.

Popular Post Jesaya815
#219 Assassin's Creed Origins Earn Them All! Earn every trophy. The Assassin's Creed series made a fantastic comeback with AC Origins. The setting is beautiful, Bayek and Aya are cool characters, and overall it's just amazing to explore Ancient Egypt. I never got bored by the amount of collectibles or side quests to go after - although I can see people complain here, as a lot of players didn't like going from spot to spot just for another treasure in previous games. They even put some more effort in the Modern Day story again (not much, but it's a start), which I always liked and highly missed, since Desmond Miles died. While it is a really good game, I had to get used to some of the changes, because many things that were part of the franchise for so long aren't in this latest title anymore. But it still feels like Assassin's Creed, what is the most important thing. Edited November 13, 2017 by Jesaya815
Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
#112 - 英雄伝説 閃の軌跡III Let me tell you this, since the first teasers and images online, i have been hyped for this game so much. And it did not let me down. ( if only i could understand the 100% of the written dialogue, and 90% of talking, it would have been even better ) This game is long, my first playthrough took me 98hours to complete without following the guide, as for second run, i used this guide. It was pretty easy even on Nightmare. Now i really need to get the other kiseki games :d , maybe before the release of Sen IV. Kurt and Altina were my MVP's this time, and Fie had her moments on the Final dungeon almost single-handedly beating all 4 bosses by dealing 22k with Counter attacks :D. Counter tactic sure is OP in this game thanks to one certain MQ. My total playtime would have been higher if i didn't skip most of the dialogue and stuff ;d Spoiler #113 - Uncharted: The Lost Legacy This was a good Uncharted game, but.................. a little bit too short If they make a new one, i would love to play as Sam and Sullivan. Finished it in one playthrough ( Crushing + all Collectibles ) + Cleanup. Really really easy platinum compared to other Uncharted games. I had problems only in two chapters which are obviously APC and Apache fight, died multiple times on these two. Perfect shot ( umm i timed it like that ) Spoiler

Popular Post Intoner_Zero
Haven't posted since I got the Magus plat back in March(?) of this year. Here's what I achieved since then: #58- Clockwork Tales: Of Glass & Ink My first AM game. Amusing, but short. #59- Code:Realize I'm not the biggest otome game fan, but this was alright. My favs were Saint Germain and that idiot Impey, lel. #60- P4 DAN I totally loved all the tracks and was excited to see all those jpop/electro artists participate in the game. The story was alright, but good god, all that reiteration about BONDS BONDS BONDS KIZUNA = BONDS LOLOL. Regardless, I'm looking forward to P3 and P5 DANs! #61- Wheels of Aurelia The concept was interesting, but all those endings weren't necessary. Would have liked to have more music to drive to also. #62- Hitman 2 Finally got back to it and achieved the 47 kills and all weapons trophies. Playing on Professional can get kind of annoying if you're careless and you die a lot from enemies, but walkthroughs are lifesavers~ #63- Claire This was an ok horror game. Did more playthroughs than needed because I'm dumb and missed a butterfly or two. #64- Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride Liked the fairytale spin, and probably like all their games, amusing but short. #65- The Silver Case Yup, a bunch of WTF, but what did you expect. It's Suda51. I was definitely amused that they put in Kurayami Dance in there, you're breaking timelines 51! I liked this game and can't wait for the 25 Wards. #66- NieR: Automata I knew I would love this game. World design, aesthetics, characters, fluid battle fights, and especially the music! Also liked that they tied the first NieR into this game. Kinda felt there should have been more to A2's story and I would liked to have seen B2 and 9S be more . . . intense, in regards to their relationship. My minor annoyance mostly came from the End of YorHa fight. I'm not that good at shooters and it was apparent I wasn't going to do it by myself the first dozen times, lol. Anyways, so glad this game has done well. Can't wait for the next entry~ #67- Goosebumps Haven't read these books since I was a child, so the nostalgia factor when playing this was pleasant. Game isn't that hard nor that long, but there are quite a few collectables that have to be accounted for. #68- Oxenfree Very interesting story concept, along with some entertaining characters. Dialogue choices are great, but can go away quick if you're thinking about what you want to pick. I also liked playing with the radio waves~ #69- Yesterday Origins Nice point & click game, though I guess I would have appreciated it more if I played the first game. Dunno if there's gonna be more to this series as the ending brought up a big question, but oh well.

What could be better than a game where you have to find the golden cake for your fat princess ? Lot of humour and a good loot system with online and couch coop. Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Plat Rain #9 Batman Have you seen my status updates? I was fully intending on giving this game a perfect review. I was enjoying myself playing as Batman/Bruce Wayne so much that I couldn't see how I could say anything negative. Then the freezing started...and then the hard locking...and then the file corruption. My file was corrupted twice and it seemed to happen anytime I died. Now I only died in this game because during heavy action scenes (which for a telltale game means more than 2 things happening at once) the game would lag out making it hard to move the cursor to the circle to press R2. This game got so frustrating to play that I found myself starting to notice and bitch about things that I might not have normally. Really besides the game breaking bugs the only thing I can complain about is the main villain that I will talk about in the spoiler tags. Spoiler Vicki Vale as the main villain was just so stupid. I mean am I meant to understand that being chained and beaten in a dungeon gives you super martial art skills, access to futuristic technology, the ability to mastermind the take over of a major American city and so much more. I mean maybe some more digging into her backstory would have been good because I don't understand how any of that is possible other than "it is a comic book". I mean Bruce wasn't super awesome as Batman because his parents died. He studied for years and had access to Waynetech. I just really think we should have had some more insight into Vicki's life. I mean like her foster parents weren't just normal child abusers, they had a dungeon which was behind a secret wall and down in a hole...and they just let Vicki leave when she got older and become a reporter? I would think people who keep dungeons in their basements (furnished with chalk and stuffed animals...because I guess Vicki could draw lots while shackled to the wall) wouldn't be so quick to let their captive free to get employment in a career that would be perfectly suited to bring them down. Also usually child services do full checks on people before giving them children. Are you saying no one noticed the huge belt welts on Vicki in all the time she was there and they just willingly gave over another child? Villains like the Joker don't really need a ton of backstory because that adds to the mystique of the Joker...Vicki REALLY REALLY REALLY needed some more details beyond "she wanted revenge".

Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 153 - THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII Date of achievement : November, 13, 2017 Enjoyment : 9,0 Difficult: 9,5 Hardest Trophy: Yes! I'm the Best The King of Fighters XIII is the 2011 entry of this classic fighting series, taking place after the events of King of Fighters XI,the game wraps the story arc of Ash Crimson. In this game a new tournament sponsored by Rose takes place, she is being being controlled by "Those From The Past", the same ominous organization behind the two prior tournaments that has been trying to break Orochi's seal. Apart from the story itself, the game introduces a new mechanic called EX moves, which power up special moves, turning the heat of battle in their favor. New hyper drive mode, which lets unlimited drive cancels while activated and drive cancel which open new possibilities for combos. Lastly the core gameplay was rebalanced and features lots of returning characters and modes, such as story, new super hard trials, various challenge modes and my favorite past time practice mode. The King of Fighters XIII was indeed a excellent entry in the series, one that truly stands out even today as a fun, balanced and hardcore experience.

Popular Post Lars
#125: Skyrim (PS4) My platinum count once started with a game that i didn't knew before a classmate told me about it. He said that you go into villages, get quests and kill dragons, he wanted to sell it to me and i decided to do it. I was addicted to it from the first moment i played it. I have 3 +100 hour saves on the PS3 and i platted it and this was my first ever platinum. When it released on the PS4 i bought i day 1 last year, i played it for a while but it felt a bit old at that time and i decided to put it away or a while. Recently i decided to play it for a while during the time i was playing Dirt 4 which i planned to get as my 125th platinum. But that one dragged a bit so i moved to Skyrim and fell back in love. I played it all day long for the past weeks which ended in the platinum last week. One of the best RPG's ever in my opinion because despite the many glitches it had on launch it didn't have many flaws. You can do so much and have so many different play styles, you can be a pure mage, warrior or archer. Then you can choose many playstyles which fall in between this, i was a warrior mixed with archery and stealth. This game has so much content, many locations with enemies, loot and puzzles to complete. Storylines of the different factions are decent and they are all very different from each other. Locations look quite similar but i don't really care because they are all really fun. What i love about this game is that you really feel the progression in the game, characters comment about things you've done, you actually become stronger despite that the enemies level with you. The game goes on forever, literally because of the radiant quest system which basically means infinite quests. Just one of the best games ever and too much to talk about. This game has everything that you want if you like western rpg's. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 #126: Blackwood Crossing: This is a very easy platinum. This game is a walking simulator and i have to be honest, it is a bit creepy and very weird. The game is set in a train, where you walk around in a dream, you see your family with weird masks on and a rabbit, this is still true. The whole game feels like the writers have been on drugs while writing this. You are a girl and you follow around your little brother and end up in his treehouse and he has his own land which is called Finnland. i can't tell more about the game without spoiling except that there are hardly any puzzles and that it is more of an experience. It takes around 2 hours to complete this and the first 1 hour and 45 minutes are weird and not really enjoyable. The thing i can say though is that the final 15 minutes really struck me and that the ending is really heavy. Once you start understanding the weird things that happened throughout the game, the pieces of the puzzle (which the story is) come together at the end. Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 6,5/10
