Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#221 - Okage: Shadow King Well this game sure was a mess and this is why: turn-based combat seems random (I experienced this while farming the "Q", it would switch who'd start the encounter every few tries, messing up my routine and leading to a fail state during the boss). the aforementioned boss battle (Phantom King) If I didn't use a specific rotation the fight would become unwinnable, as I would never get another turn while the boss + adds keep getting consecutive turns which wouldn't end until everyone was dead. This also happened on a few random encounters. The drop rate of the "Q" is ridiculous. It took 7 hours for it to drop (it can drop from each of the 4 adds of the boss), which made 84 attempts in total with 336 chances of it dropping. Boss fights instead of being memorable, they're annoying. The Vampire one comes down to pure luck. The adds in that fight can cast a spell that confuses your party members. The best you can do is kill one of the 4 adds. If by any chance the remaining 3 cast confuse on all your party members it's almost a guaranteed game over. The target for each party member will be random at that point, which results in them healing party members that are at full health, attacking the boss instead of attacking his minions and so on. It's basically an absolute clusterfuck. Not being able to see enemies health is a terrible design choice. Being attacked every 3 seconds by enemies that can spawn on top of you (enabling a surprise attack) is also infuriating. Especially when they give bugger all XP. The final boss is a joke, he had 9,999 HP and dealt on average 1 damage to my party per turn (Each member had between 250-350 HP). One of the most anticlimactic bosses ever created. Popular Post Katt
YAKUZA 5 Fulfiller of Dreams All trophies collected 100% game completion... damn, that was a lot. I've been playing sporadically, completing some things required for 100%, but then I picked up the game and went full speed, playing for 18 hours per day in some of those days. I'm not an addict, but the Yakuza series it's so damn awesome that I couldn't help to play until I got everything. Now... how do I get Yakuza 3 which is only available on physical? I'm not paying 60 USD for an old game, not in this country (because after a little search, there was only one and that was the price). Now... for Yakuza 6... Spoiler me neither. WHAT DID YOU DO HARUKA FFS!!!

Popular Post Cave Johnson
Nights of Azure 2: Under a Glass Moon Bride of the New Moon Conqueror of The Land Without Night Acquire all trophies. I gave up on waiting for the 1.01 patch, and of course, it came out a few days later... I'm glad it finally got updated though, since it made getting to level 50 a lot less time consuming. The last few games I platinumed were easy/short, so I'm kind of glad this game took more effort. And yes, 30 hours is a short platinum time (to me, anyway). My final time was around 69 hours, but I'm sure it can be done much faster than that. For the most part, Nights of Azure 2 is better than the first game. The combat is much better, except for the way weapon switching is handled... but I'll get to that later. Having (mostly) human characters as support instead of four servans feels like a huge improvement. However, only having two servan slots doesn't work well with the game's weapon system. Most of the servans are "tied" to a certain weapon. In other words, you can't use that weapon unless you bring them along, which takes up a slot. There are also four servans tied to certain actions, which can get you to shortcuts, treasure chests, and are sometimes necessary to unlock more servans. Taking one of them along also takes up a slot, of course. Did I mention that you can't switch them without going back to the hotel? Not only that, but it wastes a whole damn day to go back. Even if you have 10 minutes left on the clock, it all goes to the fucking void as soon as you go back to the hotel. It would have been nice to freely switch between areas until the time ran out. Also, I thought maybe I was remembering it wrong, but I listened to the soundtrack of the first game while grinding to level 50... and wow, the first game's soundtrack destroys the second one. It's not that the music is bad in Nights of Azure 2, it's just that the first one had a far superior soundtrack.

Popular Post Valyrious
#64 - Assassin's Creed Origins By far the best Assassin's Creed game. In fact, this comes UNBELIEVABLY close to GOTY for me. It will be a close and worthy runner up on my list. In a year where I got to experience Persona 5 and Bloodborne, the fact that this game had a similar effect on me as those games did cannot be understated. If you are unsure about this game because you suffer from Assassin's Creed fatigue and are thinking about getting it on sale, shame on you. You're doing yourself a disservice. AC:O felt like a lot more than the typical Assassin's Creed game. It stands out and does things I wish the series was capable of before this. I bet I'll be the only one with this as my Platinum image. It was pretty mentally taxing to finish all the locations before finishing the story...
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #124 Toy Story Mania Perfect Aim Earn all trophies. This is probably one of the most basic licensed games of all time. There's nothing really too bad about it, other than overly animated menus which make navigation a chore [and the voice acting associated with every cursor movement]. It's not great, it's super repetitive, probably one of the most repetitive things ever. Most of the time you're just holding down R*2. Probably less boring if you use PS Move instead of a regular controller, but I doubt it would matter after about 20 minutes and that's generous. But hey, it's a "free" plat from PS Now. And I like Toy Story. The thing I'd like to give this game credit for is that the stage designs are great, and the extra missions in them are really clever and that's clearly where all the effort went. I think it would be better if they had instead did a bit more variety of things, there is 'some' but the vast majority is just shooting galleries. Even a lot of the minigames are still just that or variations of it. Not much else to say. Edited November 14, 2017 by Elvick_
Popular Post TheAkittaja123
#101 - Call of Duty: WWII VE Earn all available trophies for Call of Duty®: WWII 0.38% Ultra Rare Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Campaign was nothing special. I thought the veteran difficulty would be hard without health regeneration but it was pretty easy (excluding couple parts). There was only one trophy that I had some problems with, which was the 'Defender' trophy. Zombies were average. I don't really care about zombies anymore. They've been in the last three COD games so I'm getting bored of them. The 'easter eggs' were not that hard to complete. My group got the easier one done on our first try. The harder one took us two tries because on the first try one of us disconnected. The trophy for getting to round 20 on the Prologue wasn't that hard either. Multiplayer was the thing I was the most excited. It's the best part of the game imo even though there has been some server issues and other stuff but I'm still enjoying it. I'm currently on third prestige and I almost have the diamond camo for assault rifles. If I would rate every mode individually, campaign would be a 6/10, zombies 5/10 and multiplayer 7/10.

Popular Post Sunflower
# 90 - Love Love! School Idol Paradise Vol.3 Lily White I was finally able to track down Vol.3 from this trilogy, especially since Nozomi is my favourite girl. Overall, the game is pretty straight-forward for the most part, only a couple of the missions posed a challenge (looking at you Nico-Nico mission) but the gameplay and songs were pretty good as well. Though to be honest, if I have to hear Start: Dash!! one more time I'm gonna go crazy.

Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#15 - Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham Asylum If you've yet to play any of the Arkham Games, you're missing out on an amazing series on the PlayStation. Batman Arkham Asylum has been touched up for the PlayStation 4 with some good and maybe questionable changes, that overall don't impact the game too much but definitely enhance the experience (or possibly take away, depends on how you'd view the changes!). I would say the only negative part about this 'port' is that the move from Unreal 3 to Unreal 4 seems to have changed lightening in areas that looked otherwise better on the previous version on the last-generation consoles alongside the fact that the game is still only outputting 30 FPS whereas it should be more than capable of delivering the full 60 FPS experience.

Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#169: Dungeon Punks A freebie from PS+ that piqued my interest because the gameplay looks similar to Dragon's Crown. The game has 6 classes to play as. There's the knight and dwarf, but the next 4 are pretty unique: a were-witch (werewolf with witch powers), drakken (bipedal lizard), djinn (also known as a genie), and hierophant (who looks like Anubis from Ancient Egypt's pantheon). I like how it's possible to switch between them at any time, though 3 are unlocked after beating the 4th level. My favourite class was the hierophant. The dwarf, hierophant, and djinn also had useful skills. The story is about the classes making a delivery to the King and Queen, only to find out they're under attack. They rush to save them and one thing leads to another, so they're dragged into it. The story has a lot of humour, that alone is a good enough reason to play this. I liked how each level had a different setting and tried to add something unique, such as the crows in level 4 or the spikes in level 9. Beating the game unlocks NG+, which is a lot more challenging, as enemies are stronger, react faster, inflict status ailments more often, and the shop stops selling equipment after reaching lvl 29. That means new equipment must be farmed by replaying chapters over and over again. That makes NG+ way too grindy, as the dropped equipment is completely random. If NG+ wasn't so grindy, this game would've been a hidden gem. The trophy for unlocking all rank 1 skills is bugged and it didn't pop when meeting the requirements, so I had to start a new save file and do that again.

Popular Post Sagaan
Dungeon punks #101 Rly fun game. Its like dragon crown just better imo, one trophy is buged and its called magician apprentice. In ng + the mobs got more hp,atk faster. But its simple to get through as long u lvl ur team 1-3 lvls as the level requirement on a level is. Difficult i would say is a 4/10 and it took me 22 h around to get the plat .
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#222 - Volume Very short game, that's mostly easy with the exception of maybe 5 out of the 100 levels. Overall it felt very mediocre, with the camera angle not seeming to be the right one for a stealth game. The excessive recharge times on some of the gadgets feel unnecessary, as that leaves you literally doing nothing for the duration. The checkpoint system is messy, with some not appearing even though the enemies weren't alerted and thus would only appear after I'd been caught. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 2 #223 - Vostok Inc This one was pretty fun. A very basic schmup with silly dialogues and some really frustrating mini games. You visit planets, build buildings on them and wat for the revenue to go up. Each world has a boss fight and basically everything you shoot gives you "moolah" to invest in more buildings or ship upgrades. Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 3 #224 - Silent Hill 3 This one is marred with technical issues, which can kill some of the enjoyment. Other than that the game is great, the atmosphere and story are fantastic. The controls need some getting used to and end up not being an issue after a while. Although the camera will be a constant battle. During my first playthrough I had about 4 hardlocks, all at the same spot (Silent Hill West). The fog in that area absolutely kills the framerate and running there is likely to crash the game. I've tested a few things, and just walking through that particular area will usually prevent the game from crashing. What seemed to help the most though, was playing without being signed into PSN. I did 2 full playthroughs that way and it didn't crash once. Another annoying thing are the ending prerequisites. You'll have to manually keep tab of enemy kills, damage taken and so forth (Possessed Ending is a nightmare in that regard). Not as bad, but still tricky is the UFO ending. It didn't unlock the first time I did it, even though I had 35 kills with the required "weapon." (at least 31 iare needed). I ended up loading the last save I had made and killed some more enemies, which ended up doing the trick in the end. The only explanation for that to have happened the way it did, is that killing enemies on that run with a different weapons, will subtract from the kill count of the "intended weapon". As a tip for anyone going for this, use only the Heather/Sexy beam and nothing else on that particular run. Enjoyment: 7 (would have been higher, if it ran smoothly) Difficulty: 4
Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#16 - DOOM I had plenty of fun with this title. I enjoyed the old classic doom games and while DOOM is not completely 'classic', it is as classic as you're gonna get with the latest titles. The SP campaign has a strange story, which was probably the weakest part about the game overall. I just couldn't care for the plot nor either of the characters but the game-play makes up for it in both the SP and MP department. I can't say the MP will keep me coming back to the game but if you're looking for a fast-paced, action-packed single-player experience, you're in for a lot of fun with this. DOOM had a relatively easy platinum, with no difficulty story completion based trophies minus the one for beating the 1st mission of the game on Ultra Nightmare, your only concern will be the shear amount of collectibles (SPOILER: There is a TON of them).
