Popular Post Feiryn-
My 23th Platinum: Resident Evil 6 (PS4). So, about that game... I know that many people and RE fans hated it but to me, it's been one of the greatest action games I've played. I enjoyed it back in 2012 when I bought on 360, I still enjoyed it a lot recently. The platinum was not hard at all, just a little boring on Professional mode but anyway, that was fun ! Now I'm waiting for a sequel with the REAL RE characters.

Popular Post eigen-space
#30 Platinum Master of Zestiria - This is proof that you've obtained all trophies. We're thrilled you like the game so much, and we hope to meet you again in future titles! Difficulty - 6/10 Enjoyment - 9/10 Definitely the most difficult Tales platinum I've done to date (pretty sure the Symphonia titles are going to be more difficult). There are trophies here that rely on beating the final boss on various difficulty levels, and the differences between those levels are definitely noticeable unlike some of the other titles. Some of the item fusion trophies also require a lot of patience and careful planning. Some of the grind trophies can feel tedious, but it actually isn't too terrible. Story trophies and collectible trophies aren't that difficult at all. Zestiria isn't as bad of a game as people make it out to be. The story, at times, feels like it could use a little bit more explanation, though it doesn't ever really feel like there's a lack of explanation or gaps. However, when you pair it with Tales of Berseria (the next game in the series, which is actually a prequel), this game becomes all the more enjoyable. I actually played and beat this game right when it came out (2015), then played Berseria when it came out (2017), re-played Berseria for trophy completion, immediately played Zestiria after getting the Berseria platinum, played Berseria again after beating Zestiria's story again, and then cleaned up the Zestiria trophies. So, yeah, this title (and Berseria) is good enough to play multiple times within a year. I can't say that about a lot of other RPGs.... unless they are other Tales titles.
Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#75 Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots The Legendary Hero A father embraces his son. A brother fights his brother. A snake eats a snake, always. Metal gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, with its almost 8 hours of cutscenes, has to be considered a movie rather than a videogame. In this chapter Hideo Kojima has really surpassed himself. This game has everything: it's tough, romantic, nostalgic, strategic, has funny and sad moments. An authentic masterpiece. Took me 3 hours for Big Boss Emblem. "Old soldiers never die, they just fade away". Popular Post eigen-space
#31 Platinum Master of the Way of Curry - Obtained all the trophies! Yay, you! Difficulty - 3/10 Enjoyment - 2/10 I don't think I've played a game that frustrated me more than this game. The majority of the trophies are an exercise in patience as the most "difficult" ones are based on random item pickups/transformations as well as grinding through equipment upgrades. The majority of the time spent on this game was actually with load screens as the best way to deal with these is resetting and reloading. The story is pretty bad... I really tried to keep with it, but the characters are so annoying that I just ended up skipping most of the dialogue. None of the battles are terribly difficult, and the battle mechanisms are extremely simplistic. The dungeons and monsters are pretty much the same thing over and over again aside from slapping a new skin/background on the scenario. The only thing good about this game is the art. Everything else is just tedious and annoying.
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#170: Ray Gigant Another dungeon-crawling RPG from Experience Inc. This game has its good points and flaws. The game is about giant creatures called Gigants invading Earth. Conventional weapons are useless against them and only people who wield the power of Yorigamis can defeat them by creating a symbiotic bond with them. Yorigamis consume energy from their host and in return give incredible power. The story is divided into 4 arcs where the playable characters also change. It's ok with some moments where things become interesting, but it's also predictable. It also failed to explain a few things, for example: how a certain character from arc 2 ends up in arc 3. Something that also annoyed me where terrible translations from time to time. The opening definitely got my attention, a giant dragon that resembles a red Shenlong from Dragonball Z lays waste to Tokyo. Most of the gameplay consists of going into dungeons to track down a mini-boss, defeat it, and bring back the marker they carry. Afterwards, that marker is placed in a special area to summon a Type-I Gigant, which are the giant bosses. All the bosses in the first 17 chapters are unique, though chapter 18 and 19 recycles them and also the mini-bosses for story reasons. I didn't care much about the characters and Ichiya is very annoying. The Evolve system was something I liked a lot. This is used to level up characters by spending upgrade resources. There's no exp or money and new equipment is also obtained by leveling up the item tree. Resources are obtained after fights and also found as treasures in dungeons. There is a level cap, so it's not possible to overlevel, but this is removed later in the game. Fights are also no longer random, which speeds up dungeon exploration a lot. During combat each party member can do up to 5 moves per turn and these consume AP, which is shared between the entire party. Therefore, it's necessary to consider enemy types and elemental weaknesses. Later in the game Parasitism mode becomes available which depletes health instead of AP. Health is fully restored after a fight (unless a character dies), so this is a good way to end fights quickly, as it removes the need to restore AP. Besides that, there's an ultimate move Slash Beat Mode, which is a rhythm mini-game. This can quickly make short work of bosses, but it takes a while to recharge. I'm really hoping the Evolve system will return in other games from Experience Inc. IMO this game is overall better than Operation Abyss, but not even close to Demon Gaze.
Popular Post Boomshanks
( 41) SSX The SSX Standard Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Man I love this game. The graphics, music, and gameplay are just a perfect mix in my opinion. The mountains look amazing and feel suprisingly varied, with different gimmicks in each location. I really like that they used real-life locations as it made you feel like you were really travelling around the world to these amazing places. The general style was just really well done, even in the simple things such as the menus and the characters. The gameplay basically consists of three types: Race, Trick, and Survival. In the beginning I straight up sucked at the game and was only really good at survival. These type of games take a while for me to learn, but I'm glad I did, as I eventually started to become good at the other events as well. The Deadly Descents were some of my favorite parts of the game. I loved the different obstacles they managed to find for every location. Each deadly descent felt very different and unique and required a special approach. Also, the animation before starting one was just awesome. My personal favorite has to be the Rocks descent on the Alps. The music throughout the entire game is a highlight. There were a lot of different styles, from heavy guitar tracks to dubstep, but somehow it just really worked with the atmosphere they were trying to create. Especially the tracks for the deadly descents, such as Heat and Clear Skys, just added a sense of danger that made the descents so much more awesome. Though the story mode is great, the most fun is definitely had in the explore and online mode. The game is really addictive in trying to get in a higher score bracket. I surprisingly loved going for the gold medals in explore and the online portion was very addictive, though it's a lot less populated now than it was in the beginning. The trophies basically require you to get all of the badges. The only special trophies are going for each deadly descent without using the required equipment. They're fun challenges, thought most can simply be gotten by using the wingsuit. The one from Antarctica is challenging though and requires a near-perfect run. I barely used the wingsuit in the game, so of course I had to grind that out in the end. Other than that, I loved going for the trophies, especially the survival badges. All in all, a great game that I would whole-heartedly recommend to everyone who likes this type of game... though they probably already own it.

Popular Post Masamune
Omniscience For the minder who knows everything. An Ultra rare plat, now that's a way to start the morning (cool trophy image too). Nobody else plat this game, Masa wants it to stay that way! The game was okay, I can see why it gets compared to Persona so much, but sadly it can't really compare to it... The battle system starts to get a bit old after a while, I got to where I just used the auto function a lot of the time (& it got me killed a lot too). The only thing I really have to complain about the story was that cliffhanger ending, it was definitely set-up for a sequel, however I'm not so sure if that's going to happen or not. ? Oddly enough, one thing that was slightly refreshing was the difficulty, I only did 1 playthrough on Expert (which from what I can tell, doesn't make that big a difference), the game is balanced pretty well, really. If you try to rush the game & skip areas/battles, you will get killed during the boss fights, but if you explore everywhere & level-up properly, things are about right. I actually enjoyed that because most of the things I've played lately are a little too easy, this is the first time in a while that I even seen a game over screen. Really, if this game does ever get a sequel, I'd probably get it just for the story, gameplay isn't anything that special & could definitely be improved some. But if you like dungeon crawlers, you'd probably enjoy this to an extent (think Persona + Demon Gaze). Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Time Played: 53:30:02 (1 week, 5 days, 12 hours) Screenshot: Spoiler One great thing about the Vita, I've never had a trophy screenshot screw up since you have to take it manually. Popular Post theSpirae
Doom I just love this series. I remember as a kid playing Doom I&II. When Doom 3 came out, it was my favourite game, I finished it multiple times on Nightmare. The newest Doom was my GOTY when I played it on PC. I had a lot of fun replaying it on PS4. Multiplayer was a bit grindy, but still enjoyable. What pissed me off was one glitched trophy (it's been glitched for over a year but devs don't care, their response is to delete your saves and play the damn game again, which is what I had to do). Popular Post Mesopithecus
#84. Nier Automata Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 This is easily my game of the year, I enjoyed everything from the story, game play, aesthetics, soundtrack. I think I would have missed out on this game on the trailers alone as they didn't really grab me at the time, so I'm glad I got to play the demo to realize how much I'd enjoy the game. I love how there are different elements to the game play and the story is varied enough to make 3 playthroughs really enjoyable as most multi playthrough games end up feeling like a chore.

The story was compelling and it is by far one of the easiest god of wars to platinum. That being said this game has one of the most annoying enemies in any gow game in the form of those wraiths. Every difficult fight I had in this game all involved those women.
Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #76 Legendary Win all trophies in the game! Oh man, I finally got it. All those challenges really drained me. Rayman Origin is one of my favorite platformers of all time, but hearing horror stories about the Final Awesomeness trophy drove me away from playing this, but then I saw it at a really low price at a PSN Sale, so I thought I'd finally try it. While I can say that this game reaches higher highs than it's predecessor, it also reaches the lowest lows too. While some stages are incredibly ingenious and had me completely entranced by them, the other ones are Murphy stages; their gimmick just isn't very exciting, and his stages felt really bland in comparison with the others. I even managed to play them how they were meant to be played on the Switch (There's a demo available on it), and it's not better; maybe it's loads of fun if one player is controlling him and the other controlling the character, but by yourself, it's not fun. My favorite parts of the game were the Invasion stages; instead of having to speedrun stages, you get special stages that you have to complete in 40 seconds to get all the collectibles. They're really exciting, and even when I was playing at my best I'd win them by a second or two. Btw, there are online challenges in the game, which is the biggest problem in getting this platinum; even after getting everything in the game, you'll have to at least play it for around 3 months getting those gold cups (Being the top 20% of that challenge) in every single one. You could probably get it in 2 weeks if you got diamond cups, but those are only for the top 1%, and they're way too good at the game. I personally only managed to get it once.
