Popular Post Nauticus87
#188 - Dragon Quest Heroes What a goo-reat game Okay so the story was terrible and generic and I started skipping lots and the gameplay was repetitive but I don't know, much like Disgaea it just had a certain charm that hooked me. When I beat the game after ~31 hours and saw the trophy guide said 60 hours to platinum I was a bit downtrodden. Thankfully I had it finished after ~43 hours. I quickly figured out that grinding for mini medals was quicker and more efficient than trying to grind for items. By the end of the game I'd beaten around 400 bloody hands and in total they had dropped one sparkly sap (you need around 10+ for accessories + quests), whereas ten minutes got me 30 mini medals and I could just buy the damn things from the shop. The end bosses weren't too bad thanks to that beast Terry. Falcon slash + gale slash = high tension in seconds = invincibility and stunned enemy = free hits to regain tension = win. With double bunny tails +2 I had full freeze resistance to tank Zoma. Two high tensions took care of Nokturnous and Atlus was laughable. Had to beat Bjorn twice because for some reason he didn't register in my monster book the first time. Before that I had gotten intimately acquainted with Bianca because she was to mobs what Terry was to bosses. I heard her say rain of pain so much it started warping into other words and phrases. I think my brain was just trying to cope with the mental torture. After the bosses I got through 50 maps and had one trophy left. That's when it turned sour. The last trophy was luck based and I hate RNG-related trophies. Even though I'd been religiously talking to everyone after every mission I still needed a puff-puff from Maya, Isla, Doric, Psaro and Nera. Pretty soon Doric's laugh was driving me mad each time I went to Patty's. His laugh haunted me. I had to turn off voices but even then his mugging maw silently gaped at me every time he refused to puff. I started feeling sleepy, would find myself opening my eyes to find I was running into a wall, getting hit for 1 damage by enemies or just standing there like a loon. Next time I'd get it. Just one more. And then it happened. The screen faded and Doric wanted me to close my eyes. The platinum had popped and you know what? I closed the game. Screw you Doric.

Popular Post Falken-N7
Need For Speed Payback #12 - The Ultimate Payback Collect all trophies And there we go, the newest NFS was platinum'd in roughly 60 hours, which isn't bad for an arcade racer to be honest. Pretty enjoyable game, sure the progression is bad, but things got better with the last patch...just for an example, it took me about half an hour to get a Porsche Panamera Turbo to 399 from stock, I'll take that since it implies actually racing the car in order to improve it. Story was, meh, kinda nice for what it is, pursuits are finally good once again (even though, sadly, not available in free roam mode, unless triggered by a bait crate), and finally an infinite warehouse so we can buy all the cars we want. In multiple copies, if necessary. I'll give it an 8,5/10. Definetly not gonna drop it despite the Platinum, because I want more cars, and some "racing or ping pong?" action in the Regera simulator...ahem...multiplayer mode.
Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #173: Stories: Path of Destinies (PS4) One of the few Indie games I was mildly interested in. When it came to PS+, happy to finally get to play it. Play this for almost 3 months. Spacing out my playthroughs, went for crunch time the last 2 days. Wanted to get this done before PSNP Fall Backlog finished. Would have liked to start any chapter and fill out remaining sections like Radiant Historia. Instead of repeating already finished sections to get to a new decision point. If they did do that, they could reduce the exp needed to get to LVL 46. Got there a bit after completing all Truths. Popular Post Lordguwa
platinum #224 Xmen: Destiny completed in 1 year and 3 months (shelved previously for reasons) think it was due to the challenge requirement (later found out it was easy). platinum rarity: 19.36% rare best costume combo: Wolverine or Colossus with melee build had to pick this one previously due to a mishap with the shipping of a physical game (was supposed to begin dynasty warriors 7). that's on hold for some time until after #225. next games will be Costume quest 2 (ps4), Machinarium (ps4) and Bully (ps4) its easier to get these out of the way as i only need to rely on one system for this round. going 2 playthrough's with costume so i don't miss anything. Popular Post Aurvandils_ta
Platinum #2 Batman - The Telltale Series I'm Batman Complete Batman This Game is a Double-Edged Sword. I love the Telltale Games with it´s Play Principle. The Walking Dead was a little Masterpiece. If I remember correctly nearly no Bugs. But this one on the PS3 is a Disaster. No Pretense. I like the Story...well it´s Batman, there´s no need to explain. The Problem is the Engine runs jerky and sometimes there are Freezes. I needed a little more than one Day, so yes it is playable. ...but... Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 5/10
Popular Post starcrunch061
PLAT #246: TACO MASTER Lord of the Taco Master [upside down exclamation point, because I don't know how to do that on my computer]Taquerazo as me! Man - did I screw up or what? I had hoped to pick up a fun, easy game that used touch controls. Taco Master is a total piece of crap, though! I had to put it down for a month or so because on the faster levels, my taco orders just disappeared, and I could never slide the ingredient I wanted. Of course, ultimately i wasn't going to let this 5-hour game beat me, but I am truly sorry to have played this. It is devoid of fun, mostly because of unresponsive controls. Also, the ingredients themselves looked really gross. Honestly, the eyeballs and brain goo for the zombie levels was less offensive looking than the fish taco makings. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#227 - Ducati 90th Anniversary This one was kind of a drag. While I generally enjoy racing games, this was merely a boring version of Ride. The main difference being less bikes, due to being limited to one manufacturer, while also making you slog through way too many races that lack in variety. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 3 (the game is fairly easy, with the exception of 1 time trial)
Popular Post Fire
#163 - Star Wars Battlefront Platinum Trophy Collect all other STAR WARS™ Battlefront™ Trophies Even tho i know most of the iconic heroes from SW universe, i'm not really into it, nor i watched any of those movies But, in a game itself i really enjoyed. Its the same as any other FPS, but this one had a lots of different modes and each one of them was interesting and unique. Platinum wasn't too hard, but there are some trophies that caused me quite a challenge (especially Survival Missions). I still need to grind to level 100. which is going to be really boring, but okay. And one thing for sure, i ain't buying Battlefront 2 Enjoyment 8/10 - Difficulty 4/10 Edited December 1, 2017 by Whyfire

Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Plat 200 - Ride To Hell Well it is done. I battled to the depths of Hell and i have come out the other side the victor. The question is though, "Is Ride to Hell as bad as everyone says it is? Is it really the worst game ever made?" The short answer is...of course it isn't. As long as Fairy Tale Fights exist there will be no other "worst game". In fact Ride to Hell doesn't even make it in my bottom 3 worst games I have platted (which for your information would be Fairy Tale Fights, Tony Hawk RIDE and Kung Fu Panda 2). I was thinking while playing Ride to Hell what I was going to say in the Most Recent Plat thread. I mean this is my #200...I have been building it up for a long time...it has this horrible reputation but I found my anger waning. As I got used to the horrible controls, the butt-ugly graphics and broken AI I started to appreciate the game a little. I mean it wasn't a good game but it surely isn't a horrible game. The glitches were very funny (like the time I shot a guy in the head and he flew 30 feet in the air and landed right in front of me a couple of seconds later), the fact that people would just run at you without attacking because you weren't in their hit box yet (meaning you could pick them all off with head shots), the fact that you fuck every girl you see (I counted 18 but I think I missed some), or the boxing matches where if you just kicked the guys in the gut you couldn't get hit (I am just going to kick the air and if you walk into it it is your own fault) As this Stockholm Syndrome kicked in I started thinking "well the game offers variety at least and it is just the right length so it doesn't overstay its welcome". Then something happened today...I booted up my PS4 for the first time and played Ratchet and Clank and the blinders were lifted. The game came at me with these beautiful graphics and tight controls. People were saying things and they were actually funny and not unintentionally funny. I was having Fun and not just creating things to make the experience fun. And that is when I realized the difference Ratchet and Clank was a good game and Ride to Hell was a bad game...mind blowing...I know. I think that is what is important about playing games like Ride to Hell or Kung Fu Panda 2. If you only play good games then you don't really appreciate what makes it good. It would be like always having food...you don't know what it is like to be starving. Sure you might say "I am hungry" but you know there is food in the fridge and that hunger isn't going to last. This is like playing a great game and saying "That part was kind of annoying" but not understanding that that part will be over soon and in a 20 hour game you found 10 minutes of it annoying. So Ride to Hell is over...my quest for 200 platinums is over...I am ready to move away from darkness and into the light

Popular Post Metal Slime King
Platinum #81 - Strider Check out the majesty coming off that trophy right there! Strider is a fun, relatively easy (like it's not My Name is Mayo but there IS a guy called Meio) metroidvania game based off an older, underused Capcom IP. I got the speed run trophy during my hard mode run without really trying for it. The clock is player friendly, it pauses on the map screen and if you die the time resets to what it was at the respawn point. To pique your interest further here's a picture of a robot gorilla from the original game. There's a similar gorilla in this game but the design is much better and it's a decent boss fight!
