Hmm...  "Riptide's" mission is shorter and map is smaller compare to the 1st game...i find that storyline is still not that good from first "Dead Island" to second, but if have a good partner to play with then the enjoyment will be "AWESOME", lucky for me that my brother just love to kill "Walking Dead"...  

 

I wanted to thanks "brendo_killinit" for giving me some "Special Weapon"...me and my brother truly enjoy using the weapon he give us, making our enjoyment of killing zombie 101%...THANK YOU...

Pretty good game, but I found it to be a bit hard. I am not that good at racing games. I was helping Connman88 and BeautifulTorment with their DLC trophies on an alternate account and then figured I might as well get some trophies for it on my account before they delete the game. Connman helped me with all the online trophies. Overall, the game was pretty good. I'm planning to start Hot Pursuit some time soon. (for some reason I feel like the font is different)

Mastered the Jungle

I finally reached this part of my journey. 100 platinum's. Now to the game.

Far Cry 3 is a big improvement over Far Cry 2 imo. Yes it is much easier than 2 but that made it more fun for me. The Single Player was amazing. The story was kind of weird but was good enough to keep you playing. I actually got to play the part of the main character. LOL. His name is Jason and that is my name.

The collectibles did kind of boring. There were 3 types of collectibles in the game and only the letters were interesting to collect. The game features normal fps gameplay and stealth gameplay. It features a xp system so that you can get better skills.

Now onto the co op. Blah blah blah. If it weren't for the co op I would give it a 5/5 but i give it 4/5. I had so many issues staying connected online that I had to wire my ps3 to get a stable enough connection to finish the missions. I got disconnected so many times and had to replay missions more than I wanted to.


Now for the next 100. LOL.

Not a whole lot to say here, other than it's eerily similar to MW2 

No grenade spam on veteran (compared to W@W), combined with the beasts that still play the spec ops online, made this an easier plat than I originally thought it would be.

 

Difficulty: 5/10 (probably would have been 7/10 without a good partner on most spec ops missions)

Fun factor: 6/10 (with a partner to play/joke around with)

Payday 2

Completely OVERKILL

I really love the series and I enjoyed most of the new changes made to the game. However, the introduction of crime.net wasn't thought through and poorly implemented. I shouldn't have to wait thirty minutes to play the heist I want to play at the difficulty that I want to play it at. The xp system is idiotic and if played correctly, it would take well over one hundred hours to earn enough xp to level up to 100 without abusing the day 3 Rats xp glitch. Finally, this game's trophy list just doesn't have the flair that the first one has. It feels dumbed down and requires very little teamwork to achieve any of the trophies. I really hope the dlc, if delivered as promised, redeems Payday 2 somewhat.

I agree with you on the limitations of CrimeNet. It can take forever to get a game together and then for it all to fall over quickly because 2 players are from different continents.

The game also seems less forgiving in that you dont attain xp when you have achieved certain aspects of a mission but fail it overall and there are trophies that only the host can attain, no matter how much effort is put into making it all happen by the remainder of the squad.

I was so stoked up for this game, but the problems of getting to play the game I want, (not to mention the lack of time I have available at the minute) has meant that I don't feel that this game is giving me the enjoyment that the original title had in spades.

Really slowpaced game and gets quite boring coz theres very little to do after getting more towns under control. But this kind of strategy and simulation games aint common in PS3 so im happy with this and liked most of it. Have to find some info about the dlcs, if those are any good.

My proudest/rarest/hardest/most time consuming platinum!  After so many obstacles in my way, being reset on my rank 3 times, having to deal with the worst servers ever known to mankind, I finally got it!  This game is no joke, it is one of the grindiest games out there.  At one point I almost gave up, but I decided to keep at it.  I love professional wrestling, it's a huge passion of mine.  The games have been really bad over the last couple of years, but now that THQ is out of business(thank god!!)and it's moving over to 2K games, I'm really looking forward to the future of WWE games.  .085% Ultra rare!!!!!

What to say about this one... I have to give a big shout out to killerJAZZ420, kb420mcl, QuantumMercury, and maliksen. (Huge kudos to jazz and malik for just throwing it on their trophy list). Those guys are the only reason I was able to get this plat. This whole saga began when I played the game before I liked trophies. I did not enjoy the single player, or the multi player when I rented it. Fast forward 4 years, I re-bought the game to platinum it. I rushed through another single player (which was actually enjoyable this time around, somewhat scary and pretty interesting), did the DLC (also not bad).

 

I think everyone knows by now that the boost for this game is brutal. It is, but those guys made it enjoyable with our Skype chats (and gmc....fo sho). A lot of good times were had, despite the boring task of running forwards and backwards we were all doing.

NFS Hot Pursuit..... What a challenge on some stages especially some of the time trials. How some folks managed the time in 1st on the speedwall is bloody impressive! Online was pretty dead so it made leveling up a bit of a grind but PSXtreme helped me along with most of the online stuff and made it fun so big thanks to him. Not having much luck DLC wise so moved on to NFS The Run. May go back and try the DLC again though at some point.

Finally!!!!!!!!

 

This wasn't just me trying to get a platinum trophy, this was a JOURNEY, a journey for me, my ps3, and the people that had to put up with my complaints. NetherRealm Studios did an amazing job on this game. It was fun, SUPER CHALLENGING, and the most time consuming plat/game/trophy ever! It is not my most proudest platinum, but it is indeed the plat that I have put the most effort in.

Thanks to all the people that helped/motivated me on this 'journey'.

 

Unless you are fully committed do not attempt to get this plat.
