Popular Post eigen-space
#33 - XBlaze Lost: Memories (Vita) Omnipotent Obtained all of the trophies in the game. Difficulty - 1/10 Enjoyment - 4/10 Played this game immediately after finishing XBLAZE Code: Embryo and was disappointed. At least half of this game-- if not more-- is directly taken from its predecessor; most of the stuff that isn't take from the prior game is simply the same scenarios from the perspective of the other characters in the original game. I did enjoy seeing some of the character motivations, but it just wasn't enough. The last couple chapters of the game are original, but it doesn't feel fleshed out enough-- I would have liked to know more about the character "Kiri" that was introduced during the new story. I would have also liked to know more about "Me" and her world. Not sure if they intended this game to feel cheap, but between reusing content from the old game as well as the art of the "dungeons", it felt like a waste of money (I bought this about a year ago-- didn't get it as a free game in PS+). Also-- the trophies kept on confusing me with their descriptions. I thought my game might have glitched because the trophies didn't pop when then conditions mentioned in the descriptions were met... but they all pop eventually. All of the ones that I thought I missed were gained through the story and not missable (there are a couple missable trophies that are based on collectibles, but they're super easy to get).
Major_Kiba
#149: Forma.8 Difficultly: 2/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 A pretty quick and easy platinum. None of the bosses were even remotely challenging and can be beaten on the first or second attempt. I ended up finding like 40/50 artifacts before I got the compass and after getting the compass finding the rest was easy.

Popular Post Kittens Are Awesome
#88 Demon's Souls (jp) Toughest Soul Trophy I said it well in my video description on YouTube, so, I think I'll just copy and paste that and maybe elaborate a little more. I helped somebody on the North American version get all the gear for platinum, in return, he gave me his Japanese account that just had Demon's Souls on it. It was very fun running through the game and getting all the gear for plat again. It's been so many years since I first ran through the game. It was very nice of the person who gave me this copy. I never ask for anything in return for help, so it's a really nice surprise when it happens. Now, my Japanese region character isn't set up as nice as my NA character is, but I still don't mind helping people when I can. Also, would be nice to get that EU version now...hint hint. I'll at least help up until they close the servers in a couple months. Here's to hoping for a new Demon's game, or at the very least a Demon's remaster.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
#124: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (November 27th, 2017) Don't Ruin the Moment Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement: 7.5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 13 - 15 Hours Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is the latest and probably last Uncharted game from the much celebrated series by Naughty Dog. The game focuses on Chloe, a fortune hunter aiming to retrieve the Tusk of Ganesh, a highly prized antique treasure guarded by Hindu gods of several generations. Nadine Ross joins her in an uneasy, fragile alliance as they fight to retrieve the Tusk. An insurgent group, led by a man named Asav, will do anything to get to the Tusk, no matter the cost. For the first time, Nathan Drake is not in the spotlight. Right off the bat the game bears the same style as it's predecessor Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. The main menu followed by the style are identical, so while standalone, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is definitely a sequel. Controls work the same way as they do in Uncharted 4. Lost Legacy has very fluid controls and I commend Naughty Dog for having controls that feel natural and easy to work with. Aim sensitivity, invert y x axis and the such help to adjust to your play style. Climbing in the game is very natural, and by this point I expect no more and no less from Naughty Dog. They definitely know how to make good controls without hindering the player. I must say that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy boasts some of the absolute best graphics I have ever seen in a video game. In my opinion this is the closest we have seen to an actual Hollywood movie. In many ways it pretty much is a Hollywood movie, complete with action, suspense, drama and humor. Facial animations never looked so good, in comparison LA Noire's facial animations feel vastly inferior. Video games have come a long way in making video game characters look like real people, and the hard work and dedication definitely shows in revealing a world that looks surreal and spectacular. Hill tops, mountainsides, buildings and even the grass look amazing. Sony should feel lucky to have such a talented developer. Naughty Dog took what happened in Uncharted 4 and brought more of the graphical bliss in Lost Legacy. Absolutely breathtaking, and I can only imagine how much better it tooks on a PS4 Pro. Sadly that is where the positive side of things end for me. When I play through a modern AAA game, I expect not only good graphics and gameplay, but also good writing, story, direction and a memorable cast of characters that I can remember fondly in months/years to come. Perhaps my standards are a bit too high, but that is my personal stance on many multi million dollar productions. I felt the writing was rather average, and by midway through the game it became rather predictable. If you guys seen your share of 1980s and 1990s action films you definitely know where I'm going with this. Two protagonists and an antagonist race to find a long lost artifact. Sounds a bit Indiana Jones right? I never expected Chloe or Nadine to say the same lines and act in the same style of humor that Nathan Drake did in past games. But here the humor just wasn't there. Neither Chloe nor Nadine seem to make a good share of jokes, I honestly felt both females were monotone in nature. The writers definitely could of made the characters a bit more lively, the Uncharted trilogy on the PS3 had a lot more humor and charm to the cast. Turns out the writers were different people, and while the writing itself wasn't terrible, it definitely could of used more humor and liveliness. The soundtrack is barely noticeable most of the time. The game offers a few tunes here and there but for much of the adventure we hear no music. Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 all offered a good soundtrack with a good variety of tunes to keep the player occupied and interested in the games. Good music helps lift the mood and incorporates a sense of style and atmosphere. Assassins Creed II and Brotherhood did a superb job at this. But here in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy I feel the soundtrack missed it's mark, because it just wasn't there most of the time. I had to turn up the volume just to hear most of the music, which is very disappointing considering it was loud and present in past Uncharted games. Overall Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is definitely worth your money. Some people may argue that it's not fair to compare a $39.99 game to a $59.99 game due to production values, the budget, the design and the overall structure. Lost Legacy is one of the shortest games in the series next to Uncharted 1, so it makes total sense to only charge $39.99 at launch rather than $59.99 like most AAA games get from giant publishers. I enjoyed my time with it, but without a good soundtrack and without Nathan Drake it just wasn't the same. It's an easy platinum, but I would definitely recommend playing the entire series just to get a feel of what you can expect out of this game. Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 160 - PSYCHONAUTS Date of achievement : December, 12, 2017 Enjoyment : 9,0 Difficult: 5,0 Hardest Trophy: I LOVE PUNCHING!/Math is Hard Psychonauts was originally a PS2 generation platformer game developed by Double FIne Productions. The game follows the story of Raz, a young boy gifted with psychic abilities in pursuit of becoming a Psychonaut, masters of mind control and phychic abilities. Dauntless as ever, Raz tries to sneak into a summer camp in which young psychic cadets are being trained, while spying he is discovered by one of the teachers, who psycho controls him to show himself. Overwhelmed and wonderstruck by their powers, Raz begs to be chosen as one of the cadets, who informs him that they can't allow him to undertake the classes without parents approval. After being able to persuade one of the teachers, Raz is allowed to try the basic training in which he easily passes. Impressed by his skills, one of the teachers invites him to take part on experiment to determine the extent of his powers. While training, Raz comes across a vision where a crazy doctor extracts one of the cadets brains, still confused he eventually realizes that vision was true and rushes to share the news with the teachers, who refuses to believe him. Dauntless and certain that something is amiss, he embarks on journey of self learning and Psycho maturity. Upon release Psychonauts quickly became one of those sad examples of good games that few players tried. Throughout the years however, the game gained a cult following and more exposure with some heavy digital distribution, allowing the game to break even and the announcement of a sequel. Lastly, I really wanna thank my instructor and mentor @zajac9999 for the recommendation. I'm sure this brainiac plat will be a good act of redemption after skipping the original release.

Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#19 - Batman: Arkham Knight I was going to start off this guide with the 'hardest' trophy image but unfortunately, majority of my trophy pops didn't even contain the image for the trophy. The issue seems to be a bit common according to what others have posted about it, so it kinda annoyed me so slightly that one of my favorite games would happen to have issues with the trophies. Trophies in B:AK aren't too difficult, though; Riddler, as fun and entertaining as he is, his collect-a-ton of 'Riddles' can be quite tedious dependent on how fast you're able to get them done and if you're able to deal with finding all 243. Arkham City had 400 Riddles, so you'd assume it was harder than Arkham Knight but for some reason, it didn't feel as tedious back then compared to now. STILL! I still really enjoyed my time with this game. A lot of people like to poop on it because of the forced used of the car but that's fine, because it was a bit too much when the Riddles started to require using it. Stay for the Story, but be vary of the platinum; it could be too much for you if you're not patient.

rodolpho_pereira
#47 - Adam's Venture: Origins First game i've ever played where the plat was the main motivation to pick it up on the latest sale. I think it was the first time i let that little shiny icon win the battle against my reason, and i feel really bad about it. Playing this on a PS4PRO and a 4k TV that you've worked so hard for, is the definition of a waste. Worthless platinum, and by far the worst game i've ever played on this gen, and possibly among the worst ever since my Atari days. I'm actually glad i fell for it (a couple of bucks for a quick plat) and had a bad time. I can get back to playing for the 'right reasons' now. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#230 - Cosmic Star Heroine Neat little RPG that was more enjoyable than I thought it would be. It has a lot of variety when it comes to the setup of your party and the abilities you want to use, which is cool. The dialogues are also pretty good, just a shame that nothing is voiced. Even though it's fairly linear a map of some areas wouldn't have been a bad idea. Anyway, it's a fun RPG overall. Popular Post DamagingRob
#280- Infinite Blasterz You earned all other trophies. Pretty fun fighting game, with a couple of fairly challenging trophies (unless you're really good, and don't have to make dozens of attempts..). Still fairly easy, though, when compared to fighting games I've failed to complete. Was fairly disappointed the Senran Kagura character was locked. Only character I actually knew. Saw her in the opening cinematic, too. Who puts a DLC character you have to pay for in the opening? That's messed up. But whatever. Still enjoyed it. Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #16 - Borderlands Difficulty Rating 4/10 Enjoyment Rating 7/10 Rare - 19.01% After plenty of looting and shooting, I get to talk about Borderlands. A first-person shooter RPG hybrid with a heavy emphasis on co-op. Set on the planet Pandora, four treasure hunters will venture across the wastelands in order to crack the mystery of what is locked inside the Vault. While co-op is not required to enjoy the game, some trophies will require a second person but I believe they can be done via splitscreen as well. Instead of taking on the game alone, you'll find that playing it with a friend will break the monotony at times. The base game itself is rather easy and takes little time to complete. The only trophy you need to worry about is Fully Loaded where you need to find a repair kit for each of the set number of Claptraps. They give you Backpack SDUs in exchange for your help. You don't want to sell these or you may have to start a new character cause the trophy comes from upgrading your backpack space, not from rescuing the Claptraps themselves. Also, the Gearbox viral trophy And They Will Tell Two Friends will require that you meet with another player who has it. Now the DLC, that's a completely different story. Being the completionist I am, I took it all on and got myself the 100%. All the DLC takes far longer than the base game and there is no fast travel to help you along the way. Let's start with the Zombie Island of Doctor Ned, specifically the trophy Night of the Living Ned For some reason if you're doing this co-op, whoever gets the last shot on Ned's first form earns the trophy and nobody else. This is most unusual cause this is the only trophy that chooses to not pop for the entire party. Also, there is no way to fight Ned again unless you select Playthrough 2. Here is what I recommend. If you are playing with others, you should all fight Ned on your own in Single Player so everyone in the end gets their trophy. Once the final boss of this DLC is completed, you may all return to your co-op session. Now for the Secret Armory of General Knoxx. Long winded with enormous enviroments. This one will probably take you the longest with all it's missions, and the fact you'll need $8,000,000 for the Sucker born every minute trophy. Beating the super secret boss in this DLC isn't too tough once you reach level 61... and stand in the right spot where Crawmerax can't detect you ?. Claptrap's New Robot Revolution is a short and sweet side story, the only real drag comes from picking up a certain number or various items that the Claptrap enemies drop. These items (panties, fish, oil cans, pizza, bobbleheads and 3D glasses) are not tracked by any mission or challenge, they are merely trophy fodder so it's up to you to keep track of how many you have. However, you can cheese this entirely by going to the final boss of this DLC who continuously spawns Claptrap enemies which self destruct themselves after a short while. By taking out the turrets that the boss fires, you may then hide in a spot where the boss and Claptraps can't detect you. Leave your PS3 on for as long as you need to and come back after several hours to find that these items will be scattered amongst the area. Lastly, we have Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot. Which is an arena survival horde mode where you take on waves of enemies. Probably my least favorite of the four DLC packs, because it goes on longer than it has to. You can cheese it by using a second controller that is synced up with a lower level character so that the waves of enemies are a much lower level than you are, making it a cakewalk. However, I didn't use this method. Instead I chose to tough it out with @bloodraizen Good times, buddy That about wraps up Borderlands! Base game, easy. DLC, long winded and tasking. Should I choose to play Borderlands 2 someday, I hope it is more merciful in certain departments. Ooh, there is a few more things I should mention. Avoid this game on PS Now, I hear it's very glitchy. If you're like me and desire a physical copy with all the DLC, I need to bring this to your attention. There are two different discs of the GOTY Edition. One let's you install the DLC from it, the other has no DLC at all. Thankfully there is an easy way of telling the two apart. The one you want is the disc that says "Game and add-on content disc" with all the DLC names coated all over it. Avoid the one that plainly says "Borderlands GOTY." This is in case you plan on buying it pre-owned. It was a long journey, here is hoping I can make it a lot less exhausting for the rest of you ^o^ Edited December 14, 2017 by ShonenCat
