Popular Post DamagingRob
#287 & 288- 36 Fragments of Midnight Platinum Midnight Become a master collector Did both versions back to back, 'cause why not? I actually found it pretty fun, too. Reminds me of Sound Shapes with its randomly generated areas, and the time limit you have to complete it in for a trophy. A bit more of a challenge than I expected given the rarity, so don't let that fool you into thinking this will be a cakewalk (I'm sure Super Meat Boy players will scoff at that ). Too bad there wasn't a bit more to it, though. Spoiler

Popular Post Satoshi Ookami
Trophy Complete You have obtained all trophies Merry Christmas =D Hm... I'm actually mildly disappointed (not as much as from the abomination called season 2, though). Like yea, it was Psycho Pass... but at the same time, it wasn't. Start was promising, but as you go deeper to the game, it becomes really apparent that it's totally not about Psycho Pass cast but completely about the new characters and PP original characters only play second fiddle. That is obviously unacceptable. No Akane-chan means no HanaKana. No HanaKana means BAD! This brings me to VN part in itself. I think it wasn't really a good way to present it. The game had too many endings for its own good. Especially considering the endings were in a way all the same. pretty much derived from 3-4 base ones. But okay, let's say that was intended. But why do you have to go through the SAME dialogue all over? If it's a different path, it's supposed to have different occurrences... Going through the same dialogue just to get to one different scene is not a good way to branch... Not to mention once you reach the ending, you pretty much know how it unfolds. This all added to the draggy feeling I had from the game. Considering overall amount of information, the game would prosper from being cut to 60-70%. And probably if it didn't try so hard to make me hate Nobu (even though it worked pretty well... sometimes I was saying to myself 'If I hear Nobu saying kuchi wo tsutsushime!' once more, I'll snap). All in all... I'm not sure what to say... It's probably not really good for Psycho Pass fans (even though it's meant to be for them) since it's only PP setting with new characters and due to being pretty heavily branched with unnecessary amount of endings, hard to recommend it to casual VN reader... Oh and 2048 can go screw itself. Whose brilliant idea was it to farm 600k points in that game? :/ Seriously, wtf.
Popular Post Asvinia
#25 Cat Quest Le Platinum Trophy MEOW! Copying over from my backlog challenge post; Finished my Christmas game [Cat Quest] and although it was fun it was really disappointing as far as story went. Really: there wasn't one. Or more like, there was a hint of a story but that's all. Far too much self-insert by the devs and it even had NPCs telling you to give them comments on Facebook, side quests telling you to download their phone app games and a tiny hint about there being a rival kingdom of dogs that will only appear 'if Cat Quest gets popular enough!'. The end felt rushed, like they'd got bored of working on it and just wanted to ship it, there's no tying up loose ends, or explanation of what's happened or anything that would constitute a real ending. It's like they wanted to leave it open for a sequel but didn't really know how, so they just cut it at the midway point. Not even a cliffhanger. It's a good game for little kids as an introduction to games, and it's good for an easy plat, but I wouldn't recommend buying it unless it's on sale.

And my wallet's still empty Just to be absolutely clear, this is the PS3 version of Nathan's Series of Fortunate Events. Oldies, but goldies. I gotta admit, it still looks (at most times) pretty darn neat. Story is straight from a popcorn movie. Drake's the modern age Indiana Jones, only with less whip (but just as much ladies) PS3 may be a granddad in console years, but it's still worth the visit, thanks to titles like Uncharted 2. Absolutely worth playing You’re making me feel old over here. Funny people are now calling the PS3 a granddad. I remember the very day the console came out in late 2006. Had a very poor and slow start though, Xbox 360 was selling like hot cakes and already had achievements. Trophies wouldn’t come around until July 2008. Popular Post LightningVII-
#10 - Final Fantasy IX In my opinion easily one of the best games ever created. It's been a long time since I played this game and loved every minute of playing it again. Everything about it is just great. soundtrack, characters, settings, story everything. I've played through this game many of times so I knew for the most part what to expect. The idea for 10,000kills is ridiculous but luckily for me I didn't have to manually sit through the hours. I spent a night at the evil forest at the start. Then another night at the castle. Just racking up the kills. Everything else was simple enough. Even the skip rope. It took a while to get used to but in the end I figured out the rhythm. If you've yet to play this game and are fans of the series or JRPGS in general then you will not be disappointed. Hopefully one day this goes with the remaster trend Square seem to be doing at the minute. 6th fastest achiever as of 27/12/17 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10

Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
A couple of hours too late for Christmas... #78: Sly 2: Band of Thieves HD Unlikely Bandit Unlock all Sly Cooper and the Band of Thieves Trophies Took some time, but this was a really fun Sly Cooper game to play, improving much upon what had already made the first Sly so enjoyable. There were a couple of major differences from that game to this, all of which I liked, but the most prominent one was the addition of Bentley and Murray as characters. Each of the character's unique jobs, dialogue between the gang, compelling story and characters, distinct open-world levels, music in those levels, and even-better platforming made the game an entertaining sequel to play. Not to mention the awesome heists at the end of each level were easily some of the best jobs in the game. Now, there's only one more (or two more, with the Minigames) Sly left to complete.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#289- Wheels of Aurelia GORILLA Nice car, sweetie. Really not much more to say. The amount of times you have to play through it makes it a gigantic slog. Add to that, forcing you to drive slow and carefully for some of the endings, and it gets old fast. #290- Mecho Tales (PS4) Mecho Historian Accomplish everything. Decided to knock out the other version. Think it's easier on the PS4, but man, is it an absolute eyesore there.. Haven't played too many games that have given me headaches afterwards (and can't even name another), but this one did. :/ Spoiler Only one trophy screenshot was of the actual game, and not this ending screen. :/
Popular Post Ala-Arska
The LEGO Ninjago Movie: Videogame Grand Master of Trophies Unlock All Trophies That's right: when a ninja cuts the cheese, you'd better f**king run! I'm still not sure how to spell this game's name correctly, but "The" can be wherever it wants from now on This might be one of the weakest LEGO titles I've played, sadly so. It's very short for a PS4 game, everything about it yells "PS Vita!", where it should have landed. Controls are sometimes unresponsive, which ain't a deal breaker (since it's "only" a LEGO game), but it still pisses me off By far the most rage inducing aspect is the camera. It's the return of the drunken camera man, who changes angles mid jump etc... Getting Gold Blocks and Characters can be extremely frustrating thanks to your vision constantly blurred by rocks, plants, walls and such There's less of collectibles, levels, playable figures, everything...well, at least that's less Platforming from Hell, too. I did manage to get the no. 5 spot on the Fastest Achievers list (for now). It's very manageable to do in less than a day...with patience I'd say TLNM: Videogame is suitable for mostly those who want a (near) perfect LEGO Platinum collection. Others, beware!

Popular Post Kuro-Okami
#48 Horizon Zero Dawn Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I have to admit that i am not the biggest fan of open world games. Often there is just a huge world with pretty much no content. This game in itself isn't that huge. It doesn't take too long to travel around every place in the world. But it feels so well filled. You can walk a few steps in any direction and you will come across some enemies, stuff to collect or something else. It made sense to take some few steps back and hunt animals, pick up plants, collect resources by defeating mashines. Simpy cause everaything had it's uses in the actual game. And it never feld tedious. I just tried to keep an open eye for oportunities and in the end i could easily collect everything. The best aspect about this game is the actual combat though. Damn was it enyjoyable to switch between all those weapons during a fight and bring them to use in a great combat. Every weapon felt useful and because of that i often switched to test new combinations. The mashines were so enjoyable to fight against. Especially the big ones. The minus on the other hand is the quest design. The combat is great and so it was ok for me... but most missions are just about fighting. There wasn't the variability from a Witcher 3. The actual story was great though. For a 2nd HZD i wish for more and a better variety of quests though.
