Popular Post Ac3NiNjA9
#19 Rise of the Tomb Raider One of my favorites; 3rd time I've played through the story. It actually looks and runs really well on PS4; I honestly thought there'd be some performance issues (played on PC first so I knew how demanding it can be) but thankfully, it's well optimized. There's a handful of content available to play after the main story, even a co-op survival/exploration which I played a good amount of on PC. The plat was fairly easy (currently very rare, 8.14%) but apparently some trophies are buggy so make sure to check a guide if you're going for this one. All popped without a problem for me though. If you haven't played this one yet, seriously consider getting it.

Popular Post Deluziion90
Platinum #67 Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy Fun: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 All 39 Trophies January 18th 2018 • Completed in 2 days, 5 hours Top of the Heap You have mastered the game and collected all there is to collect! I've never owned a PS2. As I've grown up with a PS1 including Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon I've never played this game. It really felt like a trip back to that era. Fun game but the further I got in the game the worse the levels got which was a shame. Enjoyed it most thanks to the nostalgic of old platforming games ^^
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum #220 Atelier Ayesha The Alchemist of Dusk Fun: 7/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Ayesha is quite a simple game to get the platinum trophy in with some effort. While there is a lot of missable events that will lock you out of endings you can make the ending hunt easier if you do a normal playthrough first and do whatever and when you complete the main story and get into the post game by beating the final boss, make the ultimate equipment using a guide on youtube to equip on all of your characters so they can wreak the game on a NG+ run. Don't worry about dying because that's just a slap on the wrist. The only real difficulty is your first playthruogh where some areas you're suppose to go to has very strong enemies that can wreak you by looking at you funny. Popular Post Cave Johnson
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin The Dark Soul Acquire all trophies After some annoying grinds (killing the mad warrior 30 times, getting 30 sunlight medals, etc.) I've finally got all the damn magic. I seriously had five pages worth of checklists for all of the magic... I even set the font size to 10, and it still took up five pages. The majority of them can simply be purchased, but the ones that can't often require quite a bit of effort to obtain. A few of them are missable as well. I screwed up getting the ones from Navlaan on my first playthrough. Of course I'm going to pull a lever if there's a message next to it telling me not to. That just makes me want to do it more... Anyway, I don't like to use magic of any kind, so doing all this feels like I'm just collecting a bunch of worthless scrolls for a trophy. Complaining aside, I had a lot of fun with this game. It's the first souls game I played entirely without using a shield. I got my ass kicked in the beginning, but I slowly adjusted. After finishing Dark Souls II, I've come to the conclusion that running around like a maniac dual-wielding is more fun than using a shield.

Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 165 - SPEC OPS: THE LINE Date of achievement : January, 19, 2018 Enjoyment : 8,5 Difficult: 7,0 Hardest Trophy: MFWIC Spec Ops: The Line is a third person shooter game developed by Yager Development and published by 2K in 2012. We take control of Captain Martin Walker, who is sent into a post-catastrophe Dubai with an elite Delta Force team on a recon mission. As the game progresses, we witness Walker's mental health deteriorates, as he begins to experience hallucinations and slowly realizes the horror of war. By the end of the game we will experience the full transformation of the so pride soldier into a broken illusion of what once was. Spec Ops: The Line plays exactly like most third person shooters in the market, throughout the game we will encounter numerous enemies, tons of weapons and a few collectibles in form of Intel. As Walker we will also command a squad of two soldiers, by using a command over some enemies we can trigger our squad to focus on a specific target avoiding some heavy firing that may possible come at your way. The game also has 4 difficult settings, with FUBAR being the reason I gave a 7, at times you will few just as hopeless as the fallen Dubai, it's just so chaotic and very problematic at times. By the end of my experience with the game, I can definitely recommend to any third person shooter fan, or those that enjoy chaotic action games. Spec Ops: The Line has a very good story mode and good visuals that will hook you up from start to finish.

And now as I am finished I don‘t have much words to say because the story never really got me. Maybe because of the missing butterfly effect stuff etc, but no.. that was just not my game. Popular Post DamagingRob
#295- Yakuza 4 Platinum Trophy Acquire all trophies in the game. Well, this was a great introduction to the series for me. Didn't really feel like I was missing anything after watching the recaps for the previous games, and highly enjoyed the story. The meat of the game is an open-world brawler. You pretty much run everywhere, with taxis that can transport you to other sides of the city. Too bad you can't summon them, though.. Have to go to where they are parked. :/ Fighting is a lot of fun, and you can pick up all kinds of weapons to wreck enemies. Bikes, swords, safety cones, and more. Random encounters can get a bit old in the postgame, though. Like, seriously, I don't need more XP, fuck off and let me get to where I'm going! At least you get an item that gives you infinite Heat. Heat lets you do special attacks, and usually requires giving and avoiding damage to charge. Of course, you have to complete the Ultimate Skill missions to get it. Some of them are a real pain.. But somehow, I passed the last one on my first try. But you should have seen the sliver of health I completed it with. Lol. But there's more than just fighting in this game. You can waste time doing all sorts of random stuff. Practice hitting home runs in the batting cage, go bowling, play some golf or table tennis, try for the high score in a weird shooting arcade game, try to win a prize from the crane game, try to win big money in a variety of games at the casino, play majong or shogi, go sing karaoke for your rhythm game fix, and so much more. Most activities were enjoyable. Hostess Maker was probably the worst of them, though.. You're forced to walk around a room, reading text blurbs that pop up, and then try to cater your hostess to the customers' wants. It's super slow, super boring, and takes quite a few hours to complete it. So yeah, pretty darn good game with a few flaws. According to my playtime, it took about 65 hours to Plat. But I don't think the Ultimate Skill missions were factored in, and I spent almost an entire day on those. But I also idled quite a bit. So it's anyone's guess to how much time I spent on it. Lol. But completed it faster than I expected, which is always nice. Extra Hard mode wasn't much more difficult than Hard, either. May have had to use a few more healing items, but pretty much just did the same things I did on my Hard playthrough to win.
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#189 & #190 Dying: Reborn PS4 & Vita My expectations were low for this one due to some poor reviews but it interested me nonetheless because I enjoy the Horror genre in general and the whole premise of this game reminded me of the Saw movies (crazy but genius villain sets up tests and trials for the protagonist to complete). Honestly I didn't think the game was as bad as a lot of people say it is. It's certainly no masterpiece and it's definitely lacking in any meaningful scares but there was enjoyment to be had from the madness of the bonkers plot and the amusingly atrocious voice acting. The voice acting on show here ranks amongst the worst I've ever heard. I genuinely would not be shocked to find out that the developers voiced the characters themselves instead of paying actors to do it. They're that bad ? As far as the trophies go, it's very straightforward stuff. A couple of trophies for grabbing memos/notes and the rest are unmissable story related ones. The platinum can easily be achieved in less than 2 hours. Highly appropriate really since the game plays like a trashy but enjoyable horror movie ?
Popular Post Valyrious
#69 - Persona 4 Golden The first platinum of the year! My New Year's Resolution that I assigned to myself wasn't some ridiculous trophy goal, or to set out and play as many games as humanly possible. Instead it was simply to fix the egregious 5% completion that I had on P4G. So in 19 days, I put in over 120 hours into it, and beat it in full twice. Feels better than getting 50 easy platinums. This was only made possible thanks to the Playstation TV. The ability to play this game on my TV with a Dualshock 4 controller... lightyears better than the horrendous Vita. Anyway, Persona 5 is still better, by a lot. But P4 took me by surprise. Lots of great Personas and characters. There's a whole lot to like about the game. And I hope to god it gets remastered on PS4. You bet your ass I'd go through it all over again. I dedicate this precious 69th platinum to the true best girl of the game. The heroine that embodies perfection. The individual I will always have dreams of going forward. Kanji kouhai. With this platinum, I can truly say with confidence that Persona has taken over the derelict lifeless vessel that was Mass Effect as my favourite franchise. Can't wait for the Dancing games to come out.
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#239 - Broken Age (Digital Version) Hated this game from start to finish. The mechanics were awful, the random puzzle element was terrible and I didn't care for any of character nor the story. I've played a lot of point-and-click games and only Dying Reborn was worse than this. Enjoyment: 3 Difficulty: 4

A trip down the memory lane reel: a quick but fun trip. If you know the ropes reel and take pleasure in figuring out the best and fastest - and that usually means: the most unorthodox - path to reel yourself across each stage, I think that this will strike you as a well done entry in the series. The 3D is implemented nicely this time around and the game runs much faster on vita than on the 3DS. The JP release is available physically. Farewell, Umihara Kawase-san. I'll miss your gummi rope, rucksack and what you have me call the (legged) 'osakana-san'. Fish. With legs. Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#64 Borderlands: The Pre Sequel Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 6.5/10 Recommend?: Yes, but find some friends! I love the borderlands series and actually enjoyed the story in this one more than I did in 2, but for some reason, this one just seemed to get boring. Maybe it's the repetitive missions or having played it fully with my brother on splitscreen. I don't know, but it took me a long time to come back to this and to finally finish it. Getting to level 50 was a real pain and got boring playing through the game twice by myself since the servers were practically dead. Though, I was able to find a few high-leveled stragglers here and there to help me out with the final bosses. I really hope the next borderlands gives you the option to earn trophies while on splitscreen, because I would have already had this silly thing years ago if it wasn't for that. I told myself that this year I would not worry about earning platinums and here I am, 20 days into 2018 and I already have 2 of them on the year. This pace will most definitely die down once I start up my studies. Guess I'll enjoy it while it lasts?
Popular Post SirDave1988
# 79 - Sly 3 : Honor Among Thieves (PS3) Master Thief Unlock all trophies for Sly Cooper's final outing. . . final? Really? I get the feeling that this is most people's least favourite of the original Sly trilogy from PS2. While the 1st is a classic, I actually enjoyed it more than the 2nd one and not just because I didn't get frustrated this time just trying to find missions on the map, never mind do them. There was a lot of good gameplay variety in this one, which always kept things interesting, the graphics were good considering it was originally a PS2 title, frustration levels were much lower this time but it still had it's moments haha. Yeah, really enjoyed it. Good to get the first plat of 2018 done, onto upping my completion rate this year!

Popular Post mecharobot
29th, Resonance of Fate Simply titled "Platinum Trophy", which is a bit lazy, but I do like the image and it has something to do with the story. It's also an antique, a platinum trophy from early 2010, which is pretty nice if I say so myself. Could even be one of the first JRPG platinums. Overall a great game, a bit more of a classic JRPG-type with towns, world map, NPCs etc. The platinum was not so great, mainly due to "Stardust Hunters" trophy, which requires 500 arena wins and you can't leader assault arena battles. NG+ trophy was cake, if not a bit unnecessary.

(This game has way too many of them ) Not much I can say about this game that hasn't been said before. If you enjoy sandbox games and awesome super powers, you will have a lot of fun with this title. The only thing I didn't like is that due to its short length grinding cash and kills becomes boring in the late stage of the game.
