#289 Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots and #290 Lego Marvel Avengers for PS4. Metal Gear Solid is a masterpiece of a game, but that being said, the platinum requirements were a little ridiculous which is why it took me so long to do it. Aside from the big boss emblem being a son of a bitch to get (mostly because of the motorcycle ride in act 3) you are required to beat the game a minimum of 8 times. You have to collect all of the emblems to unlock the final song and a few of the emblems work against each other. Even though it is not the most rare platinum I have, it was definitely the one that took the most work and was the most frustrating at times. As for the Lego Marvel Avengers, just like every other Lego game, fun to play but it gets boring getting all the collectibles.

I can't say much about this game, it was alright i guess.

Story wise it was interesting in some parts, but in the others was just meh

So i may or may not have skipped some parts

Personally mini game wasn't really that bad but i felt it was really pointless.

I'm using chrome but what I do is find the image I want to use (say the platinum trophy image or game image) and then right click on it and select 'copy image address'.  This will copy the location of the image you are going to link to in your post.  Then in your post just paste it were you want the image to display.  Simple as that.

Final Words

 

This game has been sitting in my cupboard since I got my PS4 in August. Not sure why it took me so long to play, but I'm glad I eventually played, it's such a good game! And I'm glad it became a milestone for me, I like that it'll always be on my profile!

 

The story was amazing, although it's almost impossible to avoid spoilers if you search for anything online, so I already knew about a lot of key moments before playing, which took away a bit from the story.  But it was still amazing (and quite emotional at a lot of moments - like the bit near the end with Pascal, I was heartbroken) nontheless.  Combat system was fun, and the gameplay as 9S was really different and unique.  Sidequests were great.  Soundtrack was kind of weird but also good for the most part.

 

The one thing I didn't like (which trophy hunters probably should like) was the ability to just buy all the trophies to get the plat.  It probably shouldn't bother me, but I earned them all legit and I feel like it should be a rarer plat than it is, because everyone could just buy it instead of earning them through the gamplay.  But eh, it is what it is.  I'm not particularly bothered about my average rarity anyway, so it's not a big deal, I guess.

Tomb Raider (2013)

Enjoyment: 6/10 (multiplayer trophies bring it way down)

 

Really fun game that has some really lame online trophies because when I think of Tomb Raider, I think of multiplayer. That aside, I did have to do a second playthrough to get all the conversations and I upgraded my dodge counter too early first playthrough. It was years ago so I never thought I'd come back and get the plat, but I'm glad I did.

Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time is a 2003 reboot of the series released for the PS2 generation. The game follows a unnamed Prince and his father's army on their way to visit the Sultan of Azad in the outskirts of India. The Vizier of o local Maharaja, wanting to revert his imminent death, discovers that is possible to prevent those predicaments using a substance know as "The Sands of Time". While the Prince and his army approaches, the Vizier manages to entice then into attacking the Maharaja Place, which stores the Sands of Time. During the assault, the Prince manages to find a artifact know as the "Dagger of Time"which allows the user to rewind time and change course of history, while the Princess is taken as a gift to the Sultan of Azad. While in Azad, the Vizier tricks the Prince into releasing the Sands of Time, which unleashes a devastating curse upon the land, turning everyone apart from the Prince, Vizier and Princess into sand creatures, those were spared because of the power of the dagger, staff and amulet. Now, with the curse on the land spreading, the Prince and Farah, the princess decides to join forces in hopes of reverting the curse, even trough both are doubting their motives and loyalty to each other.

 

 

Even trough the game was made with the intent of being a reboot to the series, all the original aspects of the franchise was intact. Sands of Time is a platformer filled with traps, precise jumps and puzzle solving, just like all the games before it. During exploration, the Prince will jump gaps, collect sands which rewards the player with a extra power and hidden fountains which rewards extra health, all of this while fighting hordes of sand creatures and avoiding traps. 

The PS3 version of the game is a HD port of the classic PS2 game, giving the game a crispier and more refined look, despite all the enhancements in the visual department, the game also suffers from some glitches here and there and some freezing problems, specially if you have a background download going at the moment, so for those that enjoy their gaming time stress free, avoid those while playing. In the end, Prince of Persia HD still delivers a excellent experience worth playing, specially for me, since I prefer this kind of gameplay and set over their "spiritual" successor know as Assassin's Creed.

At first I wanted this game due to Akira Toriyama was drawing the characters, this game being a mix of Warriors and Dragon Quest was fun. But Zoma was a pain in the ass, while Altas was easy. with Terry and I was not Level 99.

Despite of what I saw on the foruns, I didn't have any problems to get this platinum. Loading time absolutely SUCKS on the ps3, but I got it without any bugs at least...

Btw now I have almost all the LBP platinums

I had alot of fun playing this game. I played it online coop and by the hours people just keep joining in witch helped really to get alot off bolts and was super easy to knock the story much quiker as well. I'm suprised the online still isn't dead in the game there are not many people though.

 

Probably do Nexus and Crack In Time, Dead Locked and the HD PS3/Vita soon. The only reason really that i did this game is because there are 2 online trophies in it. And with all these games that are shutting down i wanted to knock this one off. The 2 online trophies are just go to the MP lobby and play a online game (Online pass required!). Also starting a MP game by your own doesn't pop the trophy, there most be someone with you though.

# 95 and 100% Gravity Rush Remastered

 

 

This game defines simplicity! It's so weird in that its simplicity and art style makes for an awesome game! The mission structures were super simple yet somehow fun to experience. The music especially hit home. Here are some great music pieces that resonated well with the game.

Looking forward to Gravity Rush 2 and I hope that they improved the gravity and combat controls just because it can be a little disorienting at times.

The first game from my nostalgic trip.  I remember how awesome I thought this game was the first time I played it. 

Upon trying it again on the PS4, it was sort of awful.  The combat, the camera controls, instant destruction to cars...

Still worth a play though in my opinion.

The second game from my nostalgic trip.  This is my favorite GTA of all time.  A lot of things came first in this game.

Heists, property purchases, motorcycles, chainsaws, katanas... The story was epic (hello Scarface), the time period was epic.

But the best part of the game was the song list. 80's music is awesome.

 

Enjoyment 10 / 10

Difficulty : 3.5 / 10

I really never played San Andreas on the PS2, other than for about 30 minutes. 

This game definitely has some major technical improvements, most notably the camera controls. 

I felt some additions were a bit TOO much, such as having to go eat and workout a bunch.

The story is a bit over the place too, but still entertaining. Overall, its a good solid game.

Using a hammer to damage two vehicles. Chasing a guy around while you wield a chainsaw. Bringing a hillbilly military guy over to a doctor while he’s bleeding out and the game screen is distorted. Some of my favorite moments from Vice City. 

 

The music was awesome. Not just Vice City but also San Andreas. It seemed like people back then could recognize real talent from these musicians and then give them a record contract. Not anymore. We don’t have real genuine talent. The only talent left is deep underground and in the indie scene. 

 

Mainstream music today is a complete disgrace. I can easily pick one or two songs from Vice City that are better than 95 - 99 percent of the shit I hear today. The New Jack Swing songs Rockstar picked out for San Andreas sound a whole hell of a lot better than the autotune bullshit lot of today’s artists are subjected to. 

 

Get Down It’s Saturday Night is my favorite funk song and probably my favorite in all of Vice City. Shame that talent is long gone.

Mixed feelings about this one.It felt unnatural,not hearing Kevin Conroy.Also i didn't like what they did with the Waynes.I tried to make my choices the way Batman would choose (in my mind), even if this was an early version of Batman.I was very surprised with other people's choices, especially in the episodes 1 and 2.My choices are below (SPOILERS)

1) Shut Harvey out of the private meeting with Falcone. 32,9%

2) Refused Vicki's request for a quote. 14,6% (didn't expect it would be so low)

3) Broke shooter's arm. 48,7%

4) Gave data to Gordon. 72,4% (i thought this would be 99,9%)

5) Handed Falcone over to the police safe and sound 82%

 

Episode 2

1) Made Falcone suffer. 29,6% (again surprised,Batman doesn't kill but bringing pain is another thing especially when he tries to get info from a criminal)

2) Didn't try to kiss Selina. 21,5% (way to early to do something like that)

3) Visited Mayor Hill as Batman 42,7%

4) Continued to fund Harvey 91,2%

5) Saved Selina. 62,1% (i was certain they wouldn't kill Selina but i wanted to force the appearance of Two-Face.If i didn't know that Harvey=Two-Face, maybe i would choose the other way around)

 

Episode 3

1) Helped Montoya. 60,8%

2) Didn't punch Oswald. 68%

3) Asked Lucious to remain at Wayne Enterprises. 65,4%

4) Romanced Selina. 90,4% (it felt the right time)

5) Didn't beat Harvey. 84,7%

 

Episode 4

1) Denied Joker a favor. 50,5%

2) Stopped the fight. 31,2% (again surprised,too low)

3) Rammed barricade. 48,8%

4) Talked to Harvey as Bruce. 43,9%
