Popular Post Icebrand1270
(As OohYeah127) 8. Wheels of Aurelia 1/27/2018 BIRTHDAY PLATINUM!!! 38 Years of Age and still gaming strong! Bury me with a console when my time is through... see if I care about the... mockery! Anyway, I'm glad I got this on sale for 2 dollars instead of the 10 it was normally (thank you holiday sale). These guys should pay us 10 to play this garbage, to be honest! An isometric racer set in 1978 Italy an a highway known as the Via Aurelia, it focuses on a woman named Lella looking to go to France to confront her past. Depending on choices in her driving and dialogue, her path will lead to one of 16 endings (and different unlocked cars) based on the events of 1970s Italy. The game is mechanically awful but the one redeeming quality is the music, which is done in the style of 1970s Italian popular music. I may not understand Italian language, but I found the beat to be fitting with the the game for some unexplained reason. Well, not much more to say about this one, so on with my "comeback tour"! Popular Post Mesopithecus
#102. Infamous Second Son Enjoyment 7/10 Difficulty 3/10 Graphically, the game is gorgeous (especially in 4K) but I just felt as though the story was a bit lacking in comparison to the PS3 Infamous games. The pacing was very slow to build and then felt very rushed at the end. I like the variance of the powers although tended to stick to Neon a lot once I unlocked that, I hardly ever used video powers unless it was a forced scenario. The boss battles were also pretty cool, especially the design of the final boss. I didn't really like Delsin Rowe as the protagonist.

Popular Post Izularia
#206 The Sims 4 Ultimate Sim Guru Earn all trophies. First platinum of 2018 Sims 4 isn't very difficult, but it takes a lot of time. I was unlucky and tried to get triplets for over 4 days... Platinum can be a lot faster with a bit of luck. The rest of the trophies is straight-forward, mainly maxing out all skills and reaching highest level in every job career. There's also other stuff like playing a sim from birth to natural death or playing a household for 26 generations (easier than it sounds, luckily). Fun plat if you enjoy the Sims in general... at least until you try to get triplets. Took me 120 hours, but it can be done a lot faster. Popular Post SirPigFace
#103 - TEARAWAY UNFOLDED Perfectionist Collect all the other trophies One of the games I picked up for free from PS Plus and it was a pretty fun game. Its your typical platform adventure game with lots of collectables. It has a lot of character customisation and throughout the game you pretty much have to use every part of your PS4 controller. My advice to anyone starting this game is to just playthrough the full story and then replay each chapter for the collectables once you finish because you require certain skills for some collectables that you only unlock further on in the game. The only few problems with this game in my opinion were how bad the camera angles are at times, some of the collectables are annoying if you dont use a guide and last but not least the Misplaced Gopher parts (expect a lot of raging if you mess up thats all I'm saying ?).
Popular Post fantrig99
#95 Master of HeartsProof of a perfect completion of Tales of Hearts R. Thanks for playing! Your love and dedication are hugely appreciated! Tales of Hearts R is part of the Tales of JRPG series and it is my first Tales of game on the Vita. The story sets the journey of Kor Meteor as he goes on to cure a girl of her Spiria while meeting many newfound comrades along the way. In the story Spiria is like a heart that's a part of every person and is the embodiment of their feelings and emotions. The RPG journey eventually leads to a crisis that involves the game world and the story evolved to an interesting level. As usual I really enjoyed some of the Tales skits that involves bantering and further understanding and conversations between the game characters. Traversing the world map was fun as part of the game with some extra postgame story location available for exploration. The Soma grid leveling up system reminds me of Final Fantasy XIII's Crystarium grid by distributing points to increase stats, learning new artes and skills along the way. Combined this with this Tales of game battle system and it made the game very enjoyable to play. The music is also a highlight and brings the game to a deeper emotional level. My personal favorite characters are Gall, Kunzite and Kor. The platinum itself is not too difficult and involves the completion of the overall storyline, beat the final boss on different difficulty settings, getting to max level, raise the character bonds to get their mystic artes, search for miscellaneous items on the world map, complete a postgame dungeon with some optional bosses though the most challenging part is the balloon mini game in the Lion Park arena in my opinion. In order to get this it required a total score of 12,000 or over from all characters and took many tries and luck to get a good run with the balloon locations. After playing the average Tales of Zestiria previously I had some doubts on the Tales of series. However this new Tales of experience renew my hope for the series and once again captured my heart with its overall memorable story and likeable characters. My first platinum for this year and a game to remember as an emotional tale full of heart. Definitely one of the best RPGs on the Vita and highly recommended. Favorite soundtrack: Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Time Taken: Around 95 hours Edited January 29, 2018 by fantrig99

Popular Post starcrunch061
PLAT #261 - FORMA.8 formed Adventurer Unlock all other trophies Fun little game. It's nice when the second titles in a PS+ month are so solid. Fun bosses, interesting world, good trophies. I was sad to have to use a guide for two of the relics (I would have never guessed that I needed to sail into lava to get a relic), but all in all, a solid title. Popular Post mecharobot
30th - Dynasty Warriors 7 True Warrior of the 3 Kingdoms Not the best milestone, but I also have a Samurai Warriors plat at #20 so it's not too bad. Many musou plats have this title picture platinum image, which is not the best thing ever, but imo still better than cups (please no more cups). I've wanted a main 3 Kingdoms series Musou plat for a while, however it's a bit wasteful to get Dynasty Warriors 8 XL+ Alpha Wei Turbo, when I have almost the same thing with easy trophies left sitting on the shelf. So I finished DW 7 and can now look forwards to DW9 without any lingering feelings. Took me two evenings to grind out bonds, quiz game and voices, the rest came naturally with it. I do heavily recommend grinding with co-op mode even when alone. The player is usually safe in most stages if they don't move and have some defence and health seals equipped for good measure.
Popular Post Z-Yux
Platinum #32: Legendary Phantom Thief from Persona 5. As a first-time Persona player, I was very pleased with how this game turned out. Pretty much every aspect of the game I enjoyed from start to finish whether it was the character development, plot, or the battle/time system. As for the platinum, it was a heck of a grind and mentally taxing on maxing out confidants and making sure to complete all Mementos tasks. With that said, it was a blast to play. Popular Post monkeydluffy512
#247 King of Medici Just Cause 3 I came, I saw, I blew stuff up. I blew up sooooooo much stuff it was ridiculous, thankfully most of those explosions were intentional, but all of it was fun. This game is just so much fun. I loved all of it until it was time to clean up trophies for the Platinum and knock out the challenges. Those challenges are like a giant helping of your favorite food. The first few bites are very tasty, towards the middle you are realize just how big it is. 3/4 the way through you are thinking "no more, never again, I hate this", but at the end there is the wondrous feeling of accomplishment that leaves you satisfied.

Popular Post yellowwindow7
Perfectionist / Tearaway: Unfolded i'm really glad that i got this game, seen how it didn't sold well made me thought that it was kinda a disappointing game or something, though got it from the last big sales happen at the EU PS Store and i'm really enjoyed it. it's really fun, i never played Super Mario Odyssey, and yet to play a Hat in Time but this game kinda reminded me how 3D platformer used to be so much fun before everyone decided to kill this type of game with fire in favor of these daily generic "Shoot Bad Guys in the Face and make their Head Explode!" i really loved the humor this game throws at you, so much 4th wall breaking, i laughed so much at one part where there was this psychological doctor who were talking with one of her patent about the being that keep peeking at them from the sky, her patent said the weird entity in the sky was actually nice, i think she replied to him that she's angry at this creature they called the ( YOU ) as he or she is interfering with their lives blowing air and throw stuff down to them ? there's nothing sad in this game at all but i don't know why i felt so sad when i finished the game and then my messenger who have breaks from his silence and start talking to me that he got attached to me after i stayed with him this whole journey and all, and that i have saw his world but he was wondering and didn't get the chance to see how my world looks like.... also i got surprised about his voice as it sound like a 6 year old or something, i always thought that he's a mature with a high pitched voice lol! the platinum is not really that easy, you do need a guide at some points as some of the prize boxes are well hidden, not to mention those evil misplaced gopher ( the worst part in the game ) will really gonna taste your metal... also the game involve motion controls as a core of it's gameplay so maybe that probably is the reason for the poor sales? but i swear that this game have used the dualshock4 features to the fullest better than any game i played on the ps4 so far, and maybe it's just me as i got 100% used to motion controls since the day i bought the move controller back then but you gonna get so surprised how easy to master the motion controls in this game and unlike the other games out there that uses motion sensitive controls it's less annoying in this game too. Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#193 The Wolf Among Us There's nothing I can say about this game that hasn't already been said. Some people say that it's their favorite Telltale game. It's my second favorite just behind The Walking Dead: Season 1 although it's extremely close. TWD:S1 narrowly edges it for me. A joy to play through from start to finish and I eagerly await Season 2 ? Spoiler I felt really bad about Colin, Toad, and TJ being sent to the farm ? I also wish I'd put The Crooked Man in jail instead of ripping his head off.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum # 130: Resistance: Burning Skies (January 5th, 2018) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement: 4/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 5 - 6 Hours First platinum of 2018. And it's a pretty lackluster one. Resistance: Burning Skies is one of the select few first person shooters made exclusively for the Vita. You play as Tom Riley, a firefighter who has to save the lives of many and prevent the future from being overrun by Chimera, aliens from another dimension that have somehow made their way to Earth. Somehow, the developers thought relying on a firefighter would be a good idea for this game. Unfortunately I have forgotten almost all of the story. It's laughable and stupid. The cutscenes were a nice touch and the voice actor for these cutscenes did a good job portraying a person who was living in the 1950s. Resistance: Burning Skies takes place in an alternate 1950s timeline, but there is barely anything authentic or notable in regards to timeline accuracy. The controls are basic. Running in this game was poorly implemented as you do an awkward sequence with your fingers before your character can run. Touch controls are responsive but there is nothing great about them. The gameplay is the worst aspect. Resistance: Burning Skies manages to make most of the weapons useful in one or two aspects, so I'll give the game credit for that. Most of the enemies are a joke. There are no more than a few Chimera that show up at any one time and by the time you are midway through the game they basically pose no challenge at all. Even the bigger Chimera are easy to take down, but there is little satisfaction in killing them. I earned the platinum in just over seven hours and this was taking a break after I earned the online trophy. Resistance: Burning Skies isn't entirely single player unfortunately as you have to boost the multiplayer trophy. A big thanks to @Xylobe for boosting it with me. The multiplayer is a complete joke, and even if it still had a few players it would be awful as there is nothing remotely good about it. It's simply your standard multiplayer maps and modes that were done in the 1990s. Once you earned the multiplayer trophy there is no point in ever going back to it again. The game requires a little grinding towards the end. I had to replay the last level about two or three times for the Lethal trophy, which requires you to kill 1000 Chimera in the single player campaign. You can play this game on the easiest difficulty setting but you will likely be missing a couple of trophies when you're done with the story. Still, there is virtually no challenge in getting these trophies as you will be grinding out kills for that platinum. Overall this was a disappointment. Resistance: Burning Skies is probably the easiest first person shooter you can find on the Vita. However if you want a more satisfactory and engaging experience, I would recommend Killzone Mercenary instead.
