Popular Post Yoey_666
#210 – Guitar Hero Live Well, this one took some time. It is a solid and fun game, but it crashes kinda often. This game also is not very hard, only very very time consuming, especially the 1 million strums. I still like the old Guitar Hero games more, cause the old style to play (5 buttons) fits me more and makes more fun imo. Right now I am just glad it is finally over. Popular Post Pinguim_Ocupado
#30 - Dead Space Concodrance OfficerCollect all Trophies Loved the game. The design of the creatures, the plot, the way that the game designers inserted UI elements on the game on a really different way, and it was a really tense game. It was fun to play only with the Plasma Cutter on impossible, it was a good challenge! I hope Dead Space 2 is even more frightening and tense than this. Popular Post Desmuria
#44 - The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk Platinum: Contributor to the Encyclopaedia Asposia Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I have to be honest, I didn't enjoy the plot of the sequel as much as I did the first game. It's an enjoyable point-and-click adventure game, very cute graphics and voice acting. A guide is essential for the low difficulty rating to be accurate! #45 - Demetrios: The Big Cynical Adventure Platinum: Cynical Master Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I would've rated this higher enjoyment rating if it had been voice acted. Clicking through text and skim-reading purely out of boredom took away from the experience. A guide is absolutely essential as there are "death counts" and cookies that you need to collect and finding them all without help is a lot of effort. If you enjoy point-and-click adventures and toilet humour, this game is definitely for you! Edited February 1, 2018 by Desmuria
Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#28 - The Wolf Among Us (PS4) One of the few enjoyable series produced by Telltale. The story/characters were all very good compared to anything they've put out lately in terms of getting other IPs under their formula. The sequel (long awaited) has been confirmed for sometime this year which is sure to please those that have been waiting FOREVER to play another story in the same world, consider myself one of those newly acquired fans that will definitely be interested in Season 2.

Popular Post parkerdip
Platinum #53 - Destroy All Humans! Got this game originally on the PS2 when it first came out and was one of my favourite PS2 games so had to get it on PS4 with trophies and relive one of my childhood games. Actually got this one back in May 2017 got a trophy but then ended up playing something else putting this game on my backlog and finally went back to play it properly the past week which is why my completion time is 8 months and 3 weeks. If I had played this games from start to finish at the beginning it would only be a few days because the trophy list is really easy and quick. I also bought Destroy All Humans 2 in a sale so will have to play that as I never played that one on PS2. Popular Post Omar
#124 - Crash Bandicoot: Warped The N.Vincible Crash Bandicoot - Collect all the Crash Badicoot: Warped trophies. .Achieved: January 31st, 2018 .PSNP's RS: Rare .Difficulty: 2 .Enjoyment: 7 After a January in which the Nintendo Switch has kept me as busy as it gets, I managed to nab my first platinum trophy of the year before the month was over (BARELY ). Crash 3 is by far the easiest game in the original trilogy, so going through it was by no means a struggle, but even without the challenge I find this game forever enjoyable, as it is one of those games that really made an impact on me as a child, and I know it like the back of my hand! With it, I have now fully aced the N'Sane Trilogy and I can move onto the rest of my backlog, which seems to be growing larger as my free time grows shorter ?

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #133: The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (February 1st, 2018) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement: 6 - 7/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 21 - 25 Hours Overall amusing but flawed point and click adventure that I feel overstays it's welcome. You play with four characters. Ivo the Elf, Wilbur the Gnome Mage, Nate the Human Drunkard, and Critter the Sidekick. A stir has reached across the land, as a powerful archmage feels will turn the entire world into chaos and evil. Using their wits, their knowledge and their use of cracking jokes and one liners, it's up to these four unlikely heros to save the land from destruction and delay the inevitable just a while longer. The controls are simple and shouldn't pose a problem. Moving the characters and interacting with the environment is pretty self explanatory, as should be expected from a point and click adventure. The graphics at times are stunning, especially in Elfburrow and later on in the game. The background details were very well done and help bring this fantasy world to life. The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 definitely has good visuals, clearly a lot of work and thought was put into them. Unfortunately I can't bring myself to really love this game. Whether it was the British humor or that the game tends to drag on a bit too long in various sections, I found myself rushing through a couple places just to move on to the next area. I almost never rush through point and click games, even with a walkthrough I interact with most of the environment and any characters I can talk to in any given location. This was probably the first time I decided to push the X button to get certain dialogue over with. In a couple occasions I found myself spending 15 - 20 minutes just talking to one NPC when I only wanted a simple task to be complete. The game also gives some characters a lot more screentime in contrast to others. Without spoiling anything in the story, one character is given more screentime than two others. In the second part of the game and towards the end and at the end, this character is given plenty of screentime. Two of the characters have only one section given to them where you'll have to spend a bit of time on before you move on. But after this they are never seen again. One character at various times interacts with the others, but towards the end she is mostly just there for the other playable characters to interact with, without having anything significant to do herself. Playing through the game took me around 21 - 25 hours. Even with a guide in hand this was by far the most lengthy point and click game I've played. While I would rather have point and click games be long than criminally short, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 really drags on a bit at times. Without rushing you can easily spend a few hours in a given section, since there is so much dialogue. There is literally at least a thousand lines of dialogue, which while they help give out more detail about the world you're playing in, much of it is unnecessary. Overall I enjoyed The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 here and there. The game pays tribute to old point and click adventures, as a certain part involving time travel ended up being a very nice touch to see. There are numerous references to pop culture and each of the four characters does their part to be funny. Which for the most part, they did their job, but the game ends up dragging a bit too long with lots of filler inbetween. If you love point and click games then The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is for you. But it isn't for everybody, and if you don't enjoy point and clicks, you may want to steer well away from this game as it's a rather lengthy one. Popular Post Darling Baphomet
Platinum #32: Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments Not a hard platinum at all, maybe a 2/10, but IMO a very good game. Definitely a much better game than its sequel, The Devil's Daughter. The cases are more complicated (not to mention more numerous), Sherlock actually looks and acts similarly to Sherlock from the books, and in general the cases are a lot more believable and enjoyable. Even having had two cases spoiled by reading the books years back, I loved every moment. While I really enjoyed The Devil's Daughter, it's sad to know that the devs decided to butcher Sherlock to make way for a 'wider audience'. Crimes and Punishments is everything you could expect from a Sherlock game, and it's a shame there'll probably be no more like it.

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes has Sherlock a lot like how he is this game. It's dated and the puzzles aren't great but should check it out if you've not played it.

Popular Post starcrunch061
PLAT #262: UNTIL DAWN A Symphony of Horror Trophies You collected all Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies in Until Dawn This is one of those games that is just better with a guide. Initially, when it was free on PS+ some time ago, I started it blind, hoping that the "butterfly effect" would enhance possibilities of completely new playthroughs. But it doesn't. If your character(s) dies(die), the game plays out almost identically to a game in which your character(s) lives(live). This is a disappointment, which is a shame, because the game itself is pretty good B-rate movie fun. I had no idea what twists would occur as I played. The acting is awful, but it makes the game far more fun. The graphics are creepy (sometimes for the wrong reasons, granted), and Peter Stormare is always awesome. The gameplay is pedestrian, although the moments where I didn't move did manage to create some tension (particularly at the end of the game). All in all, I'm glad I played it with a guide. My initial playthrough had everyone live, and my final playthrough had everyone die. The differences in those two playthroughs should have been stark, but rather, they were completely minimal. If you are going back to clear out the PS+ backlog with an intention for a plat, DEFINITELY USE A GUIDE FROM THE START. Popular Post Pershing24
#37 The Ghost with the Most God of War: Ghost of Sparta (PS3) Another port from a PlayStation Portable game, but unlike Chains of Olympus, I have played the original version of this game for my early PSP, so I was very familiar with the gameplay and the level design. This was a pretty easy platinum for me as a God of War fan so it didn't take me long, but that said there are a few trophies to keep an eye out. You definitely want to get all Gorgons eyes, Phoenix feathers and Minotaur horns in one playthrough as there are more than enough chest in the whole game, but there's only about 7 extras chest, so you might as well get them all first. Same can be said with the godly possessions, as 5 of then you can find in the campaign, but to get the gravedigger shovel, you'll need to unlock all content in the temple of Zeus, and that requires 1 million red orbs. Fortunately one of the godly possessions (the ring) can give you 10X more red orbs than usual, so you definitely want that one active in the arena and the challenges of the gods. Speaking of grinding, another trophy that might take a while is Burning Sensation which required 500 incineration kills, but the arena will also help you. And of course it helps to have several saved files, as it helps you with some of the grinding, and it help me for some of the miss able trophies like Make Her Scream and The Midas Trick. PowerPyx Productions has some good videos on the best ways of beating all challenges of the Gods in the trophy guide. Also Robotos is the best skin for Kratos!

Popular Post StilRh
#100 Lost sphear A lovely gem of a game. Tokyo RPG factory learned a lot from I am Setsuna as there are so many little touches (QoL features such as fast skipping and saving anywhere) and improvements on previous mechanics such as the spritznite momentum, which is much more straight forward and proc's frequently this time around. The setting and story is more interesting as there are a variety of different locations, the characters are a little more tropey but that is a strength in this case as you watch them develop and start to value them. The writing is better I feel. Still a few pacing issues but totally forgivable. I really liked the combat, positioning is really important and skills are on a cooldown in addition to requiring mana/VP resources. Each character is unique in the range of skills and role available to them, but there a lot of freedom when building parties. The artefact system was great, getting Nep/Fairy Fencer vibes as you can toggle changes that may affect friend and foe alike. These really helped make the game more interesting and a few took a great deal of pain out of any grind that would be needed for trophies. I would give this game a 7.5/10, really charming and doesn't out stay its welcome though a few sections dragged on a bit. Trophies are attainable, nothing seems to be missable. Took me 30 hours with taking my time in places.

Popular Post SpellbladeKnight
PLATINUM #32: MURAMASA REBIRTH -Master of the Oboro Style- Difficulty: 7 Enjoyment: 8 In all, I really enjoyed this game. It was nice to play a game that was fun throughout; challenging but not irritatingly unfair. I was never stuck anywhere in the game for more than a few hours, and that was usually against 3 paricular Fury Mode bosses. Fury mode really tested me though. Taking zero damage and avoiding your sword breaking was heart pounding against some bosses. Speaking of bosses, the Raijin fight was awesome on so many levels. It's not frequent that you have to beat a boss by smacking her ass. I got a few chuckles off that battle. Overall, the game was pretty satisfying. Good gameplay and story. And it's another ultra rare Plat for me. I only have 7 Ultra plats and I want at least 3 more. Me: "Oh magic conch shell, will I ever play and platinum Super Meat Boy?" Magic Conch: "Maybe some day."
Popular Post markcavan
#189 - √Letter on PSVita - (#13 of 2018) Fun story & game for the most part but some of the ends are tedious. Also, the 'Found SHIMANEKKO!' trophy was a pain in the ar$e for me as I didn't really have a save I could use and needed another playthrough to chapter 9 to get this annoying trophy. I also hated the fact I needed to completely replay chapter 8 over and over. After completing once I should have been able to skip like every other chapter before it after changing my letter replies. Why they designed this to a non skippable chapter is just poor game design IMO. Overall 4/10 enjoyment with a 2/10 for difficultly
Popular Post TenebraZero
#7 Adventures of Mana The Hero of Mana Obtain all trophies. Game 7 Platinum 2 Time to plat 15 hrs Secret of Mana was the first Jrpg from squaresoft i have played back on '93 and i love it. This one is far less pretentious but for a remake of an old gameboy game is quite fun to play. The remake graphic is not enjoyable due to the cellphone nature of the porting. Sounds effects are very old style and some of the ost are enjoyable. The platinum is very straightforward with a few missable, some collectible and small grind by the end of the game, nothing more nothing less. Now let's wait for the remake of Secret of Mana hoping for a better conversion.
