Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#65 Tekken 7 I'll get everything back! Difficulty: 2/10 Fun: 9.5/10 Recommend?: Tekken fans may be disappointed a little but casuals will like it. I've seen people be very divisive about whether or not you like or hate the game. It seems like for every one person who loved it, another person hated it. I've seen Tekken fans tweet angrily and complain on forums, but I personally, love this game and is the best fighting game I've played in a long time. I've always played Tekken since Tekken tag tournament for the PS2 and Tekken 4 for the PS2. I agree with the fans that the story is not very good, but I would argue that it's never been that good. The game focuses on the Mishimas and excludes a lot of some of the favorites from the main story which is a shame. It's also a shame they left out old fan favorites like Lei Wulong among others, but I did like some of the new additions they added in as well. Lucky Chloe is now my main for online instead of Kazuya, Asuka, and Jin and thought that Kazumi was a fun character to use and for some reason reminded me of Uknown from Tekken Tag Tournament (not sure why, maybe having a beast as a friend?). I hope they expand the roster in the next game, but other than that, I really don't have any complaints (a little more customization would have been cool, but it wasn't 'bad' per se). I never really was a fan of the bound system, and I enjoy the addition of rage arts as it makes the game more suspenseful towards the end of the round and makes it easier for casuals to join in. Overall, very pleased with the game and may plug it in to fight every now in again.
Popular Post ResidentScrub
#84 I regret not playing this sooner....got a bit obsessed with it over the holidays. #85 I had fun playing this but felt it could've been better. Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#194 Nightmares From The Deep 3: Davy Jones So this is the concluding part of the Nightmares From The Deep trilogy. I have to say I thought it was the best one and it ranks as my favorite Artifex Mundi game so far. I really enjoyed the story and the graphics are bright and colourful as always. The gameplay is standard for one of their games and just a single full playthrough is needed for the Platinum unlike the previous two entries in the series. You need to do a partial 2nd playthrough to get the trophy for completing 3 games of Mahjong which isn't a big deal as it only takes about 15 minutes to do this. As discussed in another topic, Artifex Mundi have bumped the prices up for these games starting with this one and have also done it for the ones they've already released. Increasing the prices of games that have already been released is shady to say the least. I'm just glad that I already played all of their previous ones. The legendary masterpiece series is coming back to life, I did not expected such a surprise as an old fan of AC Series I was expecting another disappointment but yet UBISOFTs one year break from this series benefited them. Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #131 Mass Effect: Andromeda Andromeda's Finest Collect all trophies. It wasn't that bad honestly. The writing has a lot of problems, but the overall plot was enjoyable. And I did enjoy learning about the universe, and will try to play the series again now as a result. Tried back on 360 but it didn't grab me, but I have more patience for endless dialog now I guess. The Apex Missions were a pain to do since they require real time to finish, even with the app it's still a pain. But yeah, some of the writing is bad, a lot of the acting is bad. Some of it was actually good too. It's this weird mismash of bad elements and immense potential, if that makes sense. Reyes' romance is well written, I thought. While Suvi's is hilariously terrible, and the acting of Sara Ryder in it is exceptionally bad. Horrible direction and acting. Jaal's male romance is actually really cute, he's less romantic sounding when he deals with Sara and is more "matter of fact" so it's not as good to me. The actor did better on the lines for the male romance. I thought whoever played Jaal did a good job though. Environments look very, very good. In the open worlds however, you often run into loading pauses. It's quite jarring. Elements of the animation are actually impressive, the actual movement animations I mean. But they can also be extremely goofy if you make quick adjustments back and forth. But vaulting over something, falling a distance, and the landing animation are all done well. Too bad running looks odd, the thing you do most. The dash should have, ended with you in a sprint to make base movement more fluid. That's probably the only main criticism of the gameplay design from me. The facial animations are atrocious to 'meh'. Lots of animation glitches, like cross eyes, and no cups in hands (even in drinking animations). The framerate got worse the more hours I put into the game, even on the first world you go to. The audio would often get interrupted with additional audio cutting it off, even non-essential audio, which was annoying when you were listening to something like quest dialog or one of the rover conversations. The 'choices' are almost, if not always, terrible. There so black and white, and the options are always things that you would never choose. Because there's multiple better options you could go with if the writers had common sense. But they forced you to make "hard" decisions by making both of them stupid as hell. A particular choice Spoiler saving Raeka over the Krogans is basically like punishment. Even Raeka herself will say how she regrets contacting you at all, forcing you to make the hard choice in the first place. Meanwhile the "thanks" you get from everybody else is nill. Nobody is that excited if you save her. Despite her being a likeable character. If you save the Krogans, Drack gets pissy at you [which doesn't last - a standing problem with the 'choices' in the game] and even his niece what's her face gets kinda pissy about it. But if you save them, nobody really cares that you let Raeka die. They're just like "eh, you had to do what you had to do". What? At least make somebody upset about it, even her second in command didn't give a shit. I don't know. I could go on and on about the game, I think it's a shame it released in the state it is. There's a lot of potential there for something great, I could feel it and see it while playing. And we'll likely never see a sequel, so all the unanswered questions will remain forever. The game doesn't deserve the hate it gets. Does it deserve a lot of the criticism it received? Yes. But calling it completely shit? Not so much.

Popular Post Mesopithecus
#104. Valley Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This had been on my radar for some time before I finally picked it up in the Holiday Sales, and I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint. Exploring the environment of the Valley, leaping and bounding with the LEAF suit was a lot of fun, especially with some of the upgrades you can get - it transforms what started off like a walking simulator into something with more depth. The concept of manipulating the life and death of living things was interesting, and obviously my play through had me ensuring everything lived (especially as the only missable trophy was for finishing the game without killing the Valley entirely) The story in particular was intriguing and explored military experiments with the LEAF suits and the Life Seed. I'd say the game itself wasn't too challenging, even the "enemies" in the game can be dispatched pretty quickly and the main major battle can be over and done with in less than 2 minutes. Some of the collectibles can be a little annoying to find, but if you explore everything then you won't have too much of a problem.
Popular Post Carol
#121 Steins;Gate Sky Clad Observer Unlocked all trophies. I was always very interested in stories about time-traveling and the butterfly effect, so I knew that, sooner or later, I had to play "Steins;Gate". This is, definitely, the best visual novel that I've ever played and, quickly and inevitably, I became a Fan. What a journey this was! The story is amazingly good, the character development is brilliant and the soundtrack is great! I admit that I usually find visual novels a bit painful to go through, but "Steins;Gate" is an exception, because the story and the characters always managed to keep me interested. The true ending is perfect, but I even liked most of the other endings, because the story always ended with the hope that time will ensure that everything will go well for the protagonist, even if the scenario isn't optimal. I still don't know if I can exactly consider visual novels games, but if they are games, then "Steins;Gate" quickly became one of the best games that I've ever played. I'll never forget these characters and their story. Everything about the experience that this visual novel offers is almost too good to be true.
Popular Post Kent10201
Arcade Game Series: Pac-Man Retro Gamer Rarity: 30.88% ; Difficulty: 3/10 ; Enjoyment: 6/10 I decided to play this on a whim yesterday because I wanted something quick and easy. Turns out I'm not great at Pac-Man but it was still pretty fun . It's amazing to see how far games have come from arcade games like Pac-Man to cinematic masterpieces like The Last of Us. I'll go for the Galaga and Dig Dug plats eventually but for now I think that's enough retro gaming for me.
Popular Post Zach
#53 Zero Time Dilemma Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 10hrs This game was okay. Nothing too exciting, but definitely not boring. Difficulty would be a 1 if you followed a guide. No trophies were missable, so I decided to do the game legit. I text skipped about half, but sometimes I found myself watching the cutscenes. Pretty interesting story and dialogue.Story can be done in any order, which I found cool. Easy platinum, so give it a shot!

Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#29 - Grand Theft Auto V (PS4) Grand Theft Auto V is an enjoyable experience that gives you the player, plentiful of freedom to explore the vast open world of Los Santos. I had plenty of fun playing through the story, not so much the collectibles (swear, they are the bane of trophy hunting for me!) but as per usual, it is not the collectibles, but rather the tedious amount of them to collect. The most annoying trophy for the SP side of the game would definitely have to be 'A New Perspective', which requires you to play in the newly introduced camera option for GTA, First Person. First Person is an interesting though flawed experience for this kind of game, you're more than likely gonna have to idle the hours (15 hours in total required, must be done on either SP or MP). Online? Well... getting to level 100 is a grind if you don't have the patience to grind missions/playlists over and over again. Other than that, you can boost most of the other trophies with little ease if you find the right people. I will most likely take some-time away from heavy open world games to cool down my sanity after spending close to about 150 hours in total for this platinum (100+ hours for online, close to 50 for SP).

Popular Post Venocide
#130: Final Fantasy XIII Ultimate Hero Acquired all trophies. People are too harsh on FFXIII but I personally think it's a great game. I wonder that if it wasn't called "Final Fantasy", maybe it would get more praise. The majority of the game is linear, but it has a fun battle system, great cast of characters, story wasn't too bad, I overall enjoyed it. However, one trophy in this game nearly made me quit trophy hunting permanently, the Treasure Hunter trophy is a real bitch, you absolutely need to use a checklist so you know what weapons/accessories you have, I did this and I still messed up... I returned to the game 2 days after I'd given up to see if I could figure out what I was missing, I found out it was one of Sazh's Tier 2 weapons "Betelgeuse Customs", for some reason I ticked it off the checklist, no idea how I ended up doing that. Popular Post Undead Wolf
I've been really into Monster Hunter: World lately, so I kind of forgot to post this plat when I got it. #186 - No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise Welcome to the Garden of Madness Obtained all Trophies To me, this game is somewhat of a flawed gem. There are parts of it loved, and others I hated and/or found really frustrating, namely the combat. The ranged enemies are infuriating to fight, especially if there are more than one. You either block their attacks (which means you can't move) or you let the shot hit you (which again, means you can't move). You can very easily get chain-stunned. It wouldn't be so bad if the lock-on system in this game wasn't complete ass, but you can be looking directly at an enemy and for whatever reason the camera will do a 180 and lock on to someone completely different. Thankfully, it feels a lot better when you're fighting the bosses since most of those are one-on-one encounters. I just wish some of them didn't have one-hit kill moves... Now that my mini rant is over, though, I'll explain what i liked about the game. I thought the characters were great, and the bosses all have their own unique personality. A lot of the cutscenes with them were really enjoyable; they remind me a lot of the psychopaths from Dead Rising. Travis Touchdown is pretty great as well. He's basically an otaku assassin who tries really hard to act cool. This is one of my favourite Travis moments: Spoiler The trophy list isn't anything special. You've got to get a gold medal on all the side missions, which is pretty tedious considering you can't replay them without driving all the way back to activate it again, but they aren't hard. Overall, I enjoyed the game quite a lot, but my frustrations with the game definitely hampered the experience for me. Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#66 Job Simulator Platinum Proprietor Difficulty 0/10 (no difficulty at all) Fun 10/10 Recommended: A must for all PS VR owners!! Ok, this thing MAY have a platinum rate of 40%, but I didn't play it for that reason; I played it because the demo was hilarious and had to give it all a try. All the jobs are great, but my personal favorite was definitely the Gourmet Chef. I was just cooking the nastiest shit and serving it up to the robots. The game constantly jobs you with jokes of AI being stupid or robots taking over the world which keeps the game light. This is now my fastest platinum and was a great platinum to earn on a Saturday night with a couple of friends. Definitely a great game for both VR owners and platinum hunters alike.:

Popular Post Sora9427
Platinum Trophy N.114 - Crash Bandicoot (Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy) The N. Trepid Crash Bandicoot! Collect all the Crash Bandicoot Trophies. Personal Vote: 9/10 It's been a lot since my last review about a Plat trophy and a game i played, i missed 10 Plats to revies and i'll get back to those one later but for now, here is my most recent one, Crash Bandicoot from the N.Sane Trilogy, the First Chapter of this wonderful Series! This First game is the one i like the less out of the trilogy honestly, the levels are great but not so amazing and in some points are waaay too annoying especially with the Hitboxes not being that great in some parts (It seems to literally slip on some edges at times) but still it's a great game and for sure the most challenging one out of the trilogy! The base game it's not so hard, some levels could give some trouble but with Checkpoints and patience it's not that hard to make them, and the story of course it's pretty linear as always, just defeat Cortex's Lackeys and Cortex Istelf in the end to save well, i guess just Crash and Tawna this time actually not the world itself :p The gameplay is the classic great Platforming Crash is known for and it's so great and fun to play, such a pity nowadays this genre it's so rare to see in new games... Vicarious Vision did an excelent Job with this Title, it's a wonderful Remake of the original Crash Trilogy in a modern and better graphic but without touching in any kind of way what were levels, Story, gameplay and even shortcuts in some points! It's literally like playing the original game with a Modern Graphic style which is simply wonderful! Trophy wise is where this first game of the trilogy really gets annoying. Most trophies are kinda easy honestly but the times trials, just Awful! The Level "High Road" took a ton of attempts and 2 hours of times alone to be completed before i finally made it and thanks all to a great Video i followed or probably i would have been there even now:p After that i would say 4-5 more level are really annoying and pretty hard but not as much, while after the others are mostly doable in few Minutes despite being even 2-3 minutes long. Same goes for the Gems, 2-3 of the Colored one are pretty hard and need focus and patience to not make mistakes (Above all i would say The Red Gem in Slippery Climb) but at least the Bonus Level could be repeated as many times as you like too and not count as death making this not that bad. So in The end, what can i say, it was a really fun adventure and a great pleasure to play this game back on Ps4 and with trophies after almost 20 years, i was just a kid when i played it on Ps1, grew with it and so Crash will always be a series in my heart! I actually never did the 100% on Ps1 for Crash 1 and so this was the first time i got every gem, saw some amazing secondary paths while getting them and saw the Secret Ending which well, nothing amazing but it' nice and curious To conclude i'm really proud of myself for finally getting this Platinum Trophy, my first one in 2018, and with this i end one amazing Trilogy that i could be proud to have completed in the best way possible.
