Popular Post DamagingRob
#15,000 and #297- Rise of the Tomb Raider Platinum You unlocked every trophy in the game I have been a huge fan of this series since the PS1 days, but kind of lost track of it last gen. Saw Underworld for $15 at my local Walmart, and decided to pick it up. This led to me buying Legend and Anniversary shortly thereafter, as it was an awesome game and I wanted more! Then came the reboot. And oh. My. God. I Platinumed that shit twice, and loved every minute of it. I didn't even mind the multiplayer grind everyone complains about. Just streamed a season of OitNB while doing it, and at the end, was like "what grind?" Regrettably, I did not make either one a milestone.. But I saw my chance for redemption with the sequel, and here we are. RotTR is an epic sequel, and so worth getting if you enjoyed the previous game. Or you could be like that one guy, who didn't care for the reboot, but likes this one. Bukkingmad or something like that. Looks and plays great, and adds a lot more puzzle solving. But while the main game is fantastic, some of the DLC wasn't that great to me. The one integrated into the main game, Baba Yaga, was my favorite. It was just like playing the main game. Endurance was really dumb, though. You can only earn 5 trophies in a run, and have to select them as challenges to do so. Usually completing the others so quickly, you're left standing around waiting for the days to pass. I'd just hole up by a fire barrel and stand idle, until Lara needed to eat or I got attacked. At one point, there were 3 dead bears around me. Then there was Cold Darkness, which was kind of annoying. Running around the map, collecting all sorts of things, while you'd get swarmed by zombies every so often. Easily killed with a shotgun, but slowed down progress. Croft Manor was good, as well. Just exploring Lara's mansion, with no enemies to be seen. And then it tacked on a zombie thing.. Thankfully, this one was really short, and you didn't have to collect anything while dealing with them. Overall, it was a positive experience, and a relatively easy trophy list. I didn't care for Score Attack, though. Restarting levels numerous times, when you fail to keep the combo going, is no fun.. But most of the levels weren't like that, thankfully. Spoiler I decided to get the revolver trophy in Lara's Nightmare, because I thought it would be easier against slow moving zombies. But I died 3 times by those suicidal ones, so maybe I should have just tried it against normal enemies. I managed it, eventually. Popular Post SirDave1988
# 80 - Ratchet & Clank (PS Vita) Gadget Master Obtain All Ratchet & Clank™ Trophies 80 Plats? Damn, never thought I would get to this level one day, mad. Good game to hit this milestone with too. This is one of those titles that, if I were to do a top 10 games of all time list, this game would definitely have to be at least an honourable mention on there. It's just one of those that, no matter how many times I've played it across 3 different consoles now, it's still just as fun each time, which is a sign of a top title. Loved it on PS2 15 years (!) ago and still is just as good now. It ran pretty well on the Vita as well bar a few audio glitches here and there, but the controls, with the L2 and R2 buttons on the back touchpad, made certain aspects such as the hoverboarding much more difficult to control. This makes the PS3 HD version the definitive one of the original if you decide to pick this up, which I definitely recommend if you haven't already. Popular Post GoldenShaka
Platinum #85 Gravity Rush #2 Kat is back and with some new friends and powers. Even when I understand why many people feel betrayed being a PS4 exclusive, for what it is, the game very enjoyable. I preferred just one fighting style, the white one was an unsolved puzzle for me, luckily just a few segments required that style. Nice story, decent amount of content, improvement here and there, no complaints from me. In a few days I'll be back to get the DLC trophies.

Popular Post itachi-destroyer
MIRROR'S EDGE Over the Edge Unlock all other trophies Difficulty : 7/10 (Platinum) - 8.5/10 (100%) Enjoyment : 6/10 I wanted to play a different kind of game this time so I looked at my backlog and saw Mirror's Edge. I remembered it as a fun parkour game so I decided to give it a go, additionally, adding a difficult 100% to my trophy list was a nice bonus. Now that I'm done with this game and that I did almost everything that was possible to do, I have to say I didn't enjoyed it as much as I thought I would. Firstly, the controls don't always respond correctly which is pretty terrible considering this game focuses on speedruns and time trials; for example, I kept dying at certain parts because Faith would jump off of the building instead of doing a wallrun. Secondly, the loading times are terrible and having to wait between 30 to 45 seconds each and every time you want to restart your speedruns is annoying as hell, fortunately we don't have to wait for the time trials. Finally, this game made my PS3 crashed 17 times in three days (only during the time trials which is weird) and it even crashed near the end of a good run during a time trial which would have made me broke my controller and tear my hairs apart when I was younger. The story is really bad and I can't see anyone buying this game for this so this isn't that much of a problem, however the fact that the speedruns are not totally based on skill is just stupid. You could have the best run possible and then an ennemy decides to shoot you and kill you in like 2 seconds whereas he could also not shoot you at all during the same section. The only reason I gave this game a 6/10 enjoyment rate is because the time trials are really fun, they are really short levels with no ennemies at all and are almost all based only on skill. The greatest thing about this game is when you are able to 3 stars the time trials because you have the feeling that you did something hard which is really cool. All in all, this was a decent first person platformer but I'll never touch a Mirror's Edge game again Edited February 5, 2018 by itachi-destroyer

Popular Post madbuk
#240 - Batman This was a good game. I liked that it takes place early into Batman's career, so we get to see his first interactions with certain characters and the origins behind some of the villains. I'm not well versed in comic book lore, but I recognized the name of one of the characters so I knew he was fated to become a villain (I wasn't aware which, though), so that plot twist wasn't really a twist. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be. It definitely got me interested in the second season, but only when the price is right (or it comes to PS+). I was a little disappointed with how little they used the crime scene puzzle mechanics though, where you find evidence and have to piece the clues together. And the few times that the mechanic was used, it was way too easy. Hope the sequel has more of that and it's harder.
Omelette Paradise
#195 FIFA 13 (Vita) Finally finished off the offline trophies after boosting all of the online trophies before the servers closed back in July. Been playing the game in short bursts since then. It's a real shame EA stopped releasing FIFA games on the Vita after FIFA 15, even if they were just reskins of the first game. Seeing FIFA 18 being released on the Switch with it's handheld portability makes me rather jealous I must admit. Having said that, the Vita versions of FIFA do a decent job of delivering a console quality football game on a handheld device. In terms of difficulty, the trophy list here is a lot simpler than the ones you find in the console editions of FIFA. Skill based trophies are mostly absent apart from scoring 50 touchscreen goals and winning a match with manual controls. There are also a couple of trophies for completing passes with the touchscreen and completing accomplishments with your Virtual Pro. Fun fact - I actually popped this trophy during the 2nd quarter of the Super Bowl. Well done Philadelphia Eagles Moving onto FIFA 14 next which I also boosted the online trophies for before the servers closed Edited February 6, 2018 by Dreamcatcher4891

Popular Post JavaNext
Got a few new Plats since I last posted... #56 - Need for Speed: Payback Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 6/10 I want to start off by saying that I don't usually play racing games so I don't know how this holds up to other in the genre, but with that said, I had a lot of FUN playing through this. I've been wanting to play a racing game for a while but because I am horrible at Simulators, I had to wait for either a new Burnout or a Need for Speed game and here it is. I enjoy the way the cars feel, I like the different types of races and LOVE the visual costumization (except unlocking it) and the community made decals are amazing. There was a bit of an uproar when it launched do to the performance upgrades where you either had to grind or pay to progress, but thanks to that uproar they fixed by the time I started and I think they found a good balance. #57 - Assassin's Creed: Origins Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Best Assassin's Creed game ever (haven't played IV). This is exactly what this series needed, great new characters, amazing time period, an actual combat system and beautiful graphics and the atention to detail is very impressive. It feels like completly fresh, which I admit may turn some people because it doesn't feel like an AC game sometimes (hoping the DLC fixe some of that). The story is its weakest link, just a typical revenge story and the current time arc just flew right over my head... But all in all, I still loved it. #58 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 10/10 Not much to say about this, it's Call of Duty you either like or you don't. Screw Mile High Club and Best of the Best. #59 - Middle-earth: Shadow of War Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 6/10 I was quite disappointed by this to be honest, I feel like they just relied on the Nemesis System to carry the whole game and it just wasn't enough. The gameplay is pretty much the same as SoM with the only big addition being Conquests which grew to be very boring about halfway through the game. The story is okay even if it breaks some canon stuff, I enjoyed the twist and the true ending but it was chore to get there.

Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 169 - MASS EFFECT 2 Date of achievement : February, 5, 2018 Enjoyment : Difficulty: 6,0 Hardest Trophy: Insanity Mass Effect 2 is the second installment of the series and a direct sequel of the original Mass Effect. The game takes place inside our Milky Way system around 22nd century, where humanity is threatened by a alien race know as the collectors. After being ambushed and nearly killed, Shepard is brought to the illusive Man, a mysterious figure that informs him that humanity is slowly being erased by forceful and relentless alien race and to stop then, he must assemble a trustful squad and strike a precise blow into the core off the enemy colony. Mass Effect 2 had a complete overhaul when compared to the original game, specially regarding the gameplay. Mass Effect 2 is a third person shoulder view RPG game with tons of depth. As a RPG we have the freedom to customize, build and create from the ground up almost everything, from Shepard to how each member must behave and act in the presence of danger. Unlike the original game, the gameplay focus in nonstop action, the weapons won't overheat and will use actual clips which must be replenish upon depletion. During conversations, we are prompted with the usual Paragon/Renegade options, so beware of the consequences and play as you would in real life, everything counts. Despite all the wrongs EA did with the series,Mass Effect 2 is and will always be the ultimate galaxy adventure, one that truly marked the PS3 generation as one of the best games available.
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #21 - GoldenEye 007: Reloaded Difficulty Rating 6/10 Enjoyment Rating 9/10 Ultra Rare - 1.06% Fastest Achiever - #1 Names like James Bond, Agent 007 and GoldenEye should need no introduction, but I'm here to help anyway It may come as a surprise to most, but I'm quite a huge Bond fan! GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is a reimaging based off the Wii remake which is based off another game on Nintendo 64 which is based off the 1995 film of the same name. Bond's mission is to stop his ex-MI6 partner and friend Alec Trevelyan from firing the GoldenEye satellite on London and thus causing a global financial meltdown. Instead of Pierce Brosnan taking the lead role, it is now his successor Daniel Craig. Many people will put down this game mainly because it is not the same as Rareware's masterpiece GoldenEye 64. I believe this reimaging stands fine on it's own, you can't compare the original with the new because they are both completely different animals. Because I used to play the Wii version of this religiously, the Platinum was kind of a cinch for me The only reason I can see people never going for this Platinum in general is because of the multiplayer. Online is a graveyard and different game modes require certain amounts of people to start a match and keep it going. The multiplayer trophies are also very asinine and specific. These are the first trophies I handled first and then I went and blazed through the campaign on 007 Classic difficulty. The game rewards you with little to no trophies if you play on the easiest difficulty. MI6 Ops is also a pain but there is a brillant in-game cheat that lets you pop those trophies quite easily, nobody wants to go through that noise. Everyone uses this in-game cheat for MI6 Ops and I'm no exception. I am now the fastest achiever ever for this game with a glorious time of 11 hours and 52 minutes! For the first time in my life, the name GoldenEye and I are eternally tied. It's an amazing feeling! Of course, I had many practice runs beforehand on other platforms and decided to level up my character in order to pop multiplayer trophies first. Campaign can be a tricky sort on the hardest difficulty because you don't regenerate health and need to complete many objectives instead of just shooting your way to the end of the level. Should you miss any objectives, you'll have to restart that said level and there are plenty of points of no return within those levels, it can get infuriating if it's your first time playing. New to this version are hidden Janus Emblems that need to be found and shot. There are 3-4 of them in each level, I had to memorize every location ^-^ Also, get one kill with every weapon and make sure you checkpoint or it won't count. One of the more complicated tasks for campaign are 4 time trial trophies, but the trick is that the clock doesn't continue ticking when you die like the Wii version. Your checkpoint will remember what your time was and set you back so thank heavens for that! Multiplayer requires a lot of gameplay, you'll need to be level 31 to unlock the Klobb and get 64 melee kills with it. Classic Conflict has a large number of trophies specific to that mode in which you'll need to be level 35 to enter. You could also just have someone who is level 35 invite you to Classic Conflict and you'll get in instantly no matter what your level is. As for the Klobb, have the level 35 player drop it, pick it up and start hitting people with it. Of course nobody is going to play legitimately, everyone will boost these multiplayer trophies. I had tons of fun doing this game and now I finally have complete closure from my days and nights playing this on Wii. It is my rarest Platinum to date and a great way to start off my new year cycle! I still rather love this game and I will always be up for some serious deathmatches should the servers still be running so don't be afraid to hit me up! Was it for England? No, it was for me! Yes, I am invincible!! ^o^
blu3st4rdust305
Just earned the platinum for Strider (PS3). #83 Much tougher than guides made it seem. The Hard difficulty playthru was very challenging, but that made it rewarding. A couple boss fights really frustrated me, Juroung and Grandmaster Meio in particular. Speed run on Normal difficulty was a cakewalk afterwards. It was nice to throw in a good Metroidvania style game into the mix. Recommend it for sure, although if you didn't grow up with 2D action platformers or regularly delve into the genre now, the game is tougher and longer than the guides suggest, but worth it.

A lot of people told me about glitches that could screw up your platinum, but i fortunately didn't get any. I loved exploring Hogwarts and discovering all the secrets, collectibles and characters on the game. I had a lot of fun in this one. Compared to other LEGO games, the characters here are not so diverse, and the way we choose magic is not so dynamic. Using Glacius on the others, if you had a lot of red magics is so boring. But, it's a good game, and that's all that matters!
