Popular Post madbuk
#242 - Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing I finally got around to buying this after enjoying Transformed enough to do it twice, and this definitely didn't disappoint. Transformed has some neat additions, like the game telling you what level your boost is more clearly and the sticker collection, but this one has so much more variety in mission types which I appreciated a lot. It was disappointingly short though, got the platinum done in under 10 in-game hours, I was hoping it'd be a lot longer - especially since the game ended up being so enjoyable. The grind for miles was rather tedious though, but nothing too bad. The music in this was rather nostalgic too, there are multiple tracks from games like Sonic Heroes and Sonic Rush which I played quite a lot. This and Transformed are great racing games and I can't wait to see what Sumo do next, since there is heavy evidence that they're currently developing another Sonic racer, and Sonic's future gets announced next month, so maybe Sonic & All-Stars 3 will be announced in less than a month

Popular Post Justin__Harris
Platinum #39: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (VITA) Game Score: 7.5/10 Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Celebrating my first Platinum for my PS Vita with this lovely gem of a game. Like most people, I love Super Smash Bros. and a PlayStation equivalent was certainly fun, especially on my new handheld. It's a solid game that provides a lot of fun, but I will say that even at the hardest setting, I found the computer AI to be a bit too easy. Even so, this is a really enjoyable experience and I loved trying out every character and seeing what each of them have to offer. My favorite is PaRappa the Rapper, as his triple kill special is awesome. To achieve the Platinum for this game isn't so much difficult, as it is an incredible grind since you have to beat the story mode with nearly every single character. On top of that, if you got the game second-hand like I did, you're going to need to buy the Online Pass for $10 to achieve all the trophies. And if you want 100%, you're going to have to fork over another $2 for a Heavenly Sword map to get one extra trophy with. The online trophies can be a pain just because there didn't seem to be many online matches happening to achieve it outside of highly skilled and ranked players. I did a boost session and I have to give a big shoutout to zachzapper and Larkales. Especially Larkales, since he joined my boosting session and already had the trophies. Cool guys. Negative marks go to Sewpar for joining the group and bailing 10 minutes before the start time. Come on, man, show some etiquette. Not cool. Fortunately zachzapper had an alt-account to still get us through the multiplayer session. Overall, I really dug this game and wished that they'd make a follow-up to it. I guess I'll just have to get a Switch and Smash Bros. eventually, as obviously PS All-Stars is an inferior clone.
Popular Post Desmuria
#50 - Horizon Zero Dawn I wanted to have a special game for my milestone. Especially after Albedo was my 40th Platinum milestone... All trophies obtained Obtained all Horizon Zero Dawn trophies. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 WOW! I was recommended this game by a friend and I'm so glad I decided to buy it. I got the Complete Edition, including The Frozen Wilds DLC (which I'm still working my way through). This game is incredible. I fell in love with Aloy. Her endearing relationship with Rost. Her struggles to unravel the secrets of the world around her. Ashly Burch's voice acting is amazing, giving depth and very funny sarcasm to Aloy. The soundtrack is beautiful. The machines are badass. The story is gripping and mindblowingly awesome. If you do not own this game for your Playstation 4 - I implore you. Get it. You won't regret it. I simply cannot wait to see where the developers take this. Eagerly awaiting Horizon Zero Dawn 2.

Popular Post ONUOsFan
#CantKillProgress Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Platinum number 178, and my 10,000th trophy - seemed like a fitting trophy name for that accomplishment. Loved just about everything about the main game, hated breach mode, but what else would you expect from a mode specifically designed with microtransactions in mind? Since it was a milestone game for me and there wasn't one on the site already, it also seemed fitting to write a guide for it. Special thanks to @simula67 and @NeilBefore_ZOD for their help! Popular Post madbuk
#243 - Rime This was a great game. None of the puzzles were very complex or challenging but that's fine, it was satisfying to solve them and progress anyway. I also really enjoyed the platforming aspect as well, it's like the Uncharted climbing but actually good. The story didn't really hit me as hard as it supposedly did for other people, but that may be because I ended up confused about certain aspects, but I'll avoid going into that because spoilers. Considering this is on PS+ this month, I can definitely recommend it. It's also a very pretty game with various unique environments, and it never felt like it was dragging on or getting too repetitive. This game has interested me since release, but never enough to actually buy it, and I'm very glad PS+ finally gave me the opportunity to play it. It was worth the wait. Also, as a side-note, Knack is also free this month and is also an excellent game that I can recommend playing.

Popular Post Sergen
Mortal Kombat X: Platinum Trophy #101 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: Over 40 hours Rarity: 2.22% Yet another fighting game to add to my collection of platinums. This was also my 10th Ultra Rare platinum in a row. What I have to say about this game is that it is a very enjoyable and violent fighting game, the most violent fighting game I've ever played. I have not played Mortal Kombat prior to trying this game out so I can't really compare it to the other games in the series. But the platinum is very easy to get, it just takes some luck and grinding. The only things that may be difficult for some people are 1000 hits on the Invasion Boss and getting a 10-hit combo with every character, the Invasion boss is a random AI opponent that spawns for 1 day of any given week and is impossible to beat but you are given 30 seconds to do as much damage as you can against it. The reason I have done this game is simply circumstantial, I was waiting for the game to have a secret fight in the living towers and an invasion available on the same day and when I saw that they were available, I dove right in and went for it. I did practice the invasion boss hits on an alt account prior to trying it on my main account to get a feel for the boss, the boss I had to get 1000 hits on was Bo' Rai Cho and I'm not sure if his spawn affected the main game, considering he is a DLC character. I played this game using Mortal Kombat XL, so I had all DLC available to me from the start, the PSNProfiles trophy guide and other guides say that you need to complete Story Mode to unlock Shinnok, but by having the DLC you unlock an extra costume for Shinnok and that causes him to be playable from the beginning and that is why I was able to get the trophy for completing Story Mode last, rather than doing trophies for character specific events. Some of the trophies for this game were negatively glitched for me e.g. Well Rounded, which somehow only unlocked after I replayed the game as Mileena, although the rarer trophy for winning as every character did unlock, I have screenshots if anyone is worried about me, considering I did the trophies in the same King of the Hill lobby and didn't lose my streak. I also had to back up my saves and delete the saves in order to unlock the trophy for encountering a Krypt beast, because it didn't unlock otherwise. I am the fastest achiever of the platinum for this game, but that wasn't planned until I realised I could turbo all of the grinding on the game. I did Kustom Kombat matches with 2 turbo controllers and was able to win every match with 1 hit by using one of the modifiers that reduces health down to 1 pixel, I also set my backgrounds and other things to award me more XP for winning matches as Sub Zero, so that helped and I was able to get 800 XP in 1 hit matches while not being on the game actively. The most annoying trophy and the reason why I didn't achieve a faster time for this game was the trophy for getting 50 Kustom Kombat modifiers. Around 15 of the modifiers can be collected in the Krypt, either by finding them on the map or gambling for them in a slot machine, the rest need to be done in the hourly living tower, this means that if an hourly tower spawns and you have already completed it, you need to wait another hour for a different tower to spawn that hopefully has the modifier you need, but luckily there are over 100 modifiers on the game, so more often than not a tower will spawn that has a modifier you don't have. I also found a way to turbo tower completions while I was away, by holding the left stick back and mapping the back punch button to and that allowed me to play as Scorpion and win most matches and while I was asleep some of the modifiers came to me. I will say that this platinum would have been significantly harder if the 10 ranked wins in a row had to be done legit, but backing up your save after a win and restoring it if you lose allows you to get the streak back. When I played ranked matches, I spammed people because I'm a big scrub at this game and simply shot them up with Jacqui Briggs and her Full Auto variation. I will be working on doing the online trophies for Killzone 3 next, but after I'm done with that I will then work on Mortal Kombat 9 and probably work on trophies for other games while waiting for the 24 hours with every character for that game. I look forward to my next Mortal Kombat trophy endeavour. Last but not least I'd like to thank @Suppression who helped me accumulate respect points for King of the Hill matches, it made the grind a lot less stressful. Popular Post DrBloodmoney
#314 Loved this game - when I started it I thought it was fine, but didn’t seem to live up to the high bar set by The Stick of Truth, but after 5 or so hours, it became clear that this one is superior in almost every way. The story is longer, sillier and less reliant on pure shock value (which I’m not opposed to, but it takes more effort to craft a good story with less of that. Most of my favorite South Park episodes are ones that are more surreal and less shock-value.) Exploring the town is more fun, and the combat is far more complex and ultimately more reaarding as a result. Having the story start with the end of the previous game is clever and unexpected, and the variety of side content is greatly increased.) The only downside, for me, was a lack of Canada, but I suppose you can’t have everything! Edited February 19, 2018 by DrBloodmoney
Popular Post GeraltTheDuck
Platinum #5 (+100% DLC) Mass Effect 3 N7 Elite Acquire all trophies. Rarity 8.51% - Very Rare This is end of trilogy of Shepard. And i feel like third installment is bit mixed bag compared to first two games. Gameplay maybe is best in this game. Skill tree felt bit better than Mass Effect 2, having bit more diversity how you can build skills. Weapons had huge improvement, having more guns and gun upgrade system. Still i would like there to be item drop system. All skills are still tied to one cool time, which i do not care for. Shooting and dodging felt good. But the writing on the story felt bit worse compared to two first game. I do not really know where this comes but something feels just off in some sections of story. Returning characters are still great but new characters i did not care really at all. They felt bit meh for me. Trophy list is easiest of all three of these games. Insanity felt very easy. The kill 5000 enemies trophy was bit high so i needed grind for that. DLC for this game is bit overpriced but good. I loved The Citadel DLC, it was great seeing Normandy crew in more relaxed plot. The party you throw was high point for me and good farewell for crew of Normandy.

Popular Post DiegoMolinams
#43, Rime I love the art style of this game, the music is absolutely beautiful also. Some visual elements of the game reminded me of Bioshock, one of my favorite games ever. The design of the trophies is charming also. I have to say thanks to Youtube user Fuzzy Baerbarian for his amazing guide on this game, he managed to make a very clear guide without commentary, so I recommend that you check his guide if you want to go for this platinum.
