Popular Post Ghost
Spy Chameleon Personal difficulty rating - 5/10 Enjoyment 7/10 Went back to complete this. I enjoyed Spy Chameleon for the most part until after I reached level 60 and onward. Some levels were a PITA to complete so I'm glad it's over. I also came across a cross save problem from Vita to PS4. I had 18m.90s left on Vita but 20.8 on PS4, and I wanted to get the platinum on PS4 so it would get added to my recent activities, but I didn't know which other levels I could bring down in time. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Personal difficulty rating - 4/10 Enjoyment - 8/10 With all the amazing looking games we have on PS4, I'm glad I can go back to these old games that are were added to Playstation Plus and not care about graphics etc . I enjoyed it and it wasn't too hard. A few platforming annoyances and the invincible trophy took a few tries. Batman: Telltale Series Enjoyment - 9/10 It was fun to make decisions for the Caped Crusader and it was cool to meet up with the Joker at AA. I'll definitely get Enemy Within when there's a price drop. Edited February 23, 2018 by Outsider Impressions added
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #132 Everybody's Gone to the Rapture This Pattern is Mine You got them all. You got them all. As some may know, I'm not a fan. It's a terrible GAME. I wouldn't even count any of the things you do in this game as proper interaction. Push x to open a door, look at books, look at maps, look at numbers, push x to not open a door. Push x to play audio recordings from phones and stuff. STAND STILL HERE, STAND STILL THERE. This is not a game at all. The trophy design proves this by showing how there's nothing to do here. It's just a way to tell a narrative.... The narrative is interesting, the music is incredible. But this is the worst possible way to tell a story ever. I saw someone defend the game in an old post saying this game sucks in a laughable way. They compared you walking from point a to b with movies, and how movies will have landscape shots with no dialog to transition things along at times... but they don't do that after every scene. And the story flows together so you can properly consume it. This is drips and drabs, a lot of redundant information, since Yevon only knows what you activate first if you do it "right" at all. The developers should be embarrassed, they didn't even have it in them to program a proper map. This world is needlessly large, and the map system they have is horrible. Why can't whoever we play as be carrying around a map so we can always know where we are? And god the movement speed. GOD THE MOVEMENT SPEED. And R2 seemingly doesn't even do anything half the time, and ffs they slow you even further down when you try to get completitionist in those black glowy areas, and in buildings. Am I an old lady? Got into an argument here with someone that denies this was to artificially inflate the runtime of the otherwise lacking game in content. I still laugh at the very idea. Of course it was. There's nothing. Graphics are "good", but so basic that it's not very pleasing. It's technically impressive, though some technical problems. The rain however looks incredible. The ripples on the ground/surfaces when water hits it looks amazing. If only I could always walk around in the rain. Otherwise it's lacking in anything interesting to look at for me. A more stylized game would've been more interesting. Maybe this design would have worked for VR, then I wouldn't mind standing around to consume a story told through wisps. Maybe instead of needing to stand near a stupid phone, they should have let us keep listening as we left the phone. Same thing with radios. They needed to take off the "artsy" glasses and put back on the "developer" glasses, because this could have been something far better than it was. But it wasn't, because they didn't seem to care if their GAME was terrible. Glad I didn't buy it, and the only reason I even got the plat was the sunk cost fallacy. At least I got something out of that wasted time now. They should have just did an animation or something. I'm glad to delete this and be done with it forever.
Popular Post Charizarzar
^ I actually enjoyed that game for the most part but I can understand those points. I was pretty let down by the ending and the walking speed. And that stupid book trophy where you couldn't even check to make sure you collected it. I get what you mean about wishing it had been something better than it was. The premise was totally there for me at least, but again for me there were more just minor annoyances that I had with it. Anyways. Platinum #46 The Amazing Spider-Man Does everything a spider can! I finally got around to finishing this after getting fed up with my mediocre completion rate, plus even though this game isn't great it's tided me over until the new Spidey game.
Popular Post Mesopithecus
#107. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 This has easily become one of my top favorite games Everything from the story, the characters, the music was just perfect. I admit that I'm normally a text skipper but this game had me really engrossed from beginning to end. School mode also wasn't as bad as what it was made out to be and I actually enjoyed it. Looking forward to playing the second one now.

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #136: Captain America: Super Soldier (February 15th, 2018) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 10 Hours I generally think movie licensed games in general outright suck. Whether it's Batman, Superman, Spiderman, or any other famous superhero, they don't save the game from being crap. Thankfully Captain America actually manages to be a somewhat fun game, but overall gets dull from how easy it is. The story is simply Captain America fighting off a group of Nazi-inspired enemies who actually aren't Nazis. Since it takes place in World War II, obviously the biggest culprit of that time period was the German Nazis. This may of been a good thing since if the enemies were indeed Nazis, Germany would have to censor them like they did with Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. But the game plays too much like an average Hollywood action flick. A bad guy is building up an army of super soldiers to take over the world, and it's up to Captain America to put an end to the madness. The gameplay feels like a combination of Assassins Creed, Batman: Arkham Asylum and God of War. But unlike those three franchises, the fighting mechanics are much easier to handle. You can earn all the trophies in the story on Easy difficulty, and this makes the enemies an absolute joke. There is no real strategy because you can easily win fights by mashing the Square button. Some enemies required to be grabbed and the more 'robotic' enemies require a bit of evading and maneuvering. But if you played Assassins Creed, Batman or God of War then you should have no problems with the combat because it's an absolute joke in providing any sort of challenge or satisfaction. Even the bosses in the game can easily be taken down with evading and using a couple of Captain America's special moves to inflict a lot of damage. His signature shield is a helpful tool in blocking enemy attacks and targeting multiple enemies at a time to all be killed. There are collectibles to be had, but unless you really suck at collecting them, you shouldn't have a problem thanks to one of Captain America's abilities. Pressing up on the D-pad on your controller sends out a wave effect that detects any nearby collectibles, which are then highlighted as yellow. Eggs, schematics, film reels and the such are scattered throughout the game. There are plenty of them. None are missable however, since you are able to Free Roam once you beat the story. I was happy to see this, because for once I did not need a Youtube guide to find all the collectibles. Captain America offers challenges, but like the combat, are a joke difficulty wise. God of War's Challenge of the Gods provided a tough but satisfactory experience, and Batman Arkham's challenges were even more difficult. But here you can earn gold in most of the challenges without really trying. Only a couple challenges required more than a couple tries for me to earn a Gold. You have to beat the story to unlock all of the challenges. If you played through God of War and the like then you'll have no problem tackling the challenges in Captain America. Overall the game is very easy. But Captain America: Super Soldier does a good job in making itself presentable and at least somewhat enjoyable. It's a fun short game to play through once, but the lack of any real challenge ultimately made this boring and rather tedious especially with all the enemies the game throws at you. At least it's much better than Terminator Salvation, and Captain America is one of the safest bets in playing a movie licensed game that isn't full of bugs/glitches and doesn't screw you over with bad controls and high difficulty. Popular Post PooPooBlast
#96 Agents of Mayhem Been a while since I got a plat! Managed to get this one in 3 weeks and 2 days and so it was about time! Now the game is very loosely and I would say not really tied to the SR series besides some small references. Think watchdogs and assassin's Creed. They're both in the same universe but that's it. Another thing to mention is that the game can be repetitive but only if you stick to one character. I highly suggest switching between characters until you settle into a good one or a good team. I always chose Oni just because he looked badass! Think Japanese Hitman. He has some really cool silenced pistols that do a lot of damage! In terms of recommendation, I'd say grab it when it's a sale for like $15-20 and then by all means it's worth it. Well onto the next game! Edited February 23, 2018 by PooPDeePie

Popular Post Inuty
#86 Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PS3) Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2 Time: 71 hours I finally was able to Play this game. Since the second game will be released very soon I wanted to Play this game first. Also because of the great Reviews I was curious what all the fuss was about. I Need to say it was a really lovely JRPG. One of the best I played so far. The animations are really great and the Boss design are ahead of some bosses I see in other games released 2017. Storywise it was really solid and there are some twists in it even if you can Imagine how it Ends after some dialogs. The pokemon like gameplay with a lot of different familiars to catch really took my interest. But as always not everything is completly great in the mechanics of the game. For me it was really frustrating that you only can catch familiar if they are allowing it with hearts above their heads. You really can´t Trigger it for yourself and this means a lot of farming. Also that only Esther is able to tame the familiars is Kind of weird in my opinion because if she is dead you Need to revive her to catch it. All in all the post game has a lot to offer but you will grind a lot to tame 250 familiar and create 120 alchemy recipes. If you are a friend of JRPGs I can really recommend this game to you
Popular Post Caju_94
#15 - Bastion (PS4) Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 5/10 A game that got my interest since it came out years ago on Steam, even though I didn't have a PC that could support even a game like this one. So, as soon as I got a PS4, I got this game. The first playtrough was nice to get a hang of the mechanics and get to know every weapon and skills. My second playtrough was way more challenging. Leveling up to the max level (10) was a little grindy, but still enjoyable. Getting all quests done was a very natural process. Now, the biggest challenge for anyone is obviously beating all 4 Dreams with all idols activated. Idols are like effects that make your battle even more difficult but reward you with more EXP and Money (stronger enemies, no healing drops, invincible from time to time...). Doing this while defeating hordes of enemies was a big challenge. But after trying some weapon and skills and finding the right one for me, plus a little practice, things went smoothly. The Kid's Dream was really easy. The Singer's Dream became way easier after I started getting the hang of the Pike and Mortar Weapon. I managed to finish the Stranger's and the Survivor's Dream with both these weapons and the Turret Skill. My biggest nemesis were the Ura guys, mainly the ones that used melee weapons. They were fast attackers and I had difficulties when trying to counter their attacks. Still, with the right set of items and practice, the challenges become more doable and you get to know all of your enemies. A really nice indie game that I recommend. Very unique. The soundtrack is really intriguing and interesting and the narrative... Oh the narrative... Made me remember of Morgan Freeman telling a story, haha! ? Popular Post DrBloodmoney
#315 HIDDEN AGENDA This game is interesting. First playthrough was with three other people, none of whom had played before, and it was a blast - super fun, cool idea, and the ‘trick your friends’ ideas are smart and fun. No one needs to use a duel-shock (its all on phones/ tablets), so non-gamers can play just as easily as seasoned gamers. I will say though, the finale of our story seemed to come out of nowhere, as the particular choices we ended up with made for a rather disjointed narrative. Later playthroughs were solo - fist few were pretty good, but it did get a bit samey by the fourth play. This is a strange game - a single playthrough is short (1-2 hours), but I feel like this is acually the answer to all the people who complain that Telltale games don’t give any real choice, and that the stories in those games is just the story regardless of what you do. This is much more dynamic (which is easier to do when the game is short) but that genuine choice can be a blessing and a curse - Yes, the game can go quite differently based on choices, but it also means there is a good chance that the narrative you actually get is not great sometimes. It mean that you tend to be seeing new stuff even after 3 or 4 playthroughs, which is good - but they do a very, very silly thing at the end: no matter how your game goes, there is a post-credits section that gives away the major twist. As a result, all subsequent plays are not so much a ‘who-done-it’ as a ‘how-do-I-tailor-the-story-to-fit-who-did-it.’ I’d recommend this game wholeheartedly if you have a group of people to play with - but if you are going to solo the whole thing I don’t really think it offers enough. The game is not designed for solo-only play, and feels like a bit of an ‘also-ran’ next to something like Until Dawn

Popular Post JaM
#223 The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia Savior of Britannia All trophies acquired. Congratulations! I love Nanatsu No Taizai. I am somehow updated in Manga (I think I am 4 chapters behind, too busy/lazy atm) and is currently watching the anime so when the game was announced, I was so excited. + it has the 7th Deadly Sin. ESCANOR HYPE!!! and well... the game is quite... underwhelming, and somehow disappointing. The graphics looks good. The addition of voices is also a good thing for me. The OST is well... *shrug*. Let's talk about the Plot/Story. One thing's for sure, this is definitely not a first step for newcomers for the series. It is like those recaps that you watch less the plot. You will probably don't follow what is happening if you haven't watch the anime or read the manga beforehand.... which is quite sad since I thought this game will somehow make other people get interested in the anime/manga. Then there's the gameplay. Well... let's just say I expected something different from what I've seen in trailers. It's like J-stars VS+ but at the same time it's not. I know it is quite confusing but I really can't explain it's mechanic tbh. And that Elizabeth's errands... oh boy. And lastly, the rant... I mean road to plat. Will put in spoiler since I noticed that it is a long rant... errr.. I mean stuffs. well, that's a bumpy ride to the point it is quite frustrating... The game itself is pretty short (well, thanks to abridged plot) but the road to plot is different story. And it's thanks to RNG and S-rank. RNG in this game is really bizarre, you will not really know when the side-side-quests appears, worse part is the game don't have an option to check your progress and which area has which side quests, unless you have a very god memory or write down stuffs (which I didn't ofc). And surprisingly, that is not the worst part...cause, say hello to S-ranking all missions. Getting them is torture itself(more details later) but as mentioned, the game not telling you which have you done and which is needed to be done is definitely not fun. I spent hours trying to figure out which area and which quest(s) I haven't S-rank yet and the RNG of quest appearing became it more frustrating. Now let's talk about getting S-rank itself, I really didn't have much trouble getting Town's sidequests or even quests(I think I only had trouble with 2, and ofc that is the one-vs-one with Diane and Ban) since I could somehow customize the characters, for Trials though, definitely a trip to hell and reminded me that I am a masochist. You don't have a control of customizing the characters in trial and you don't even have a choice of character to use, of course game, I would love to use this slow moving character that I really didn't care cause he only appeared in episode 1. TL;DR - get this game only if you love the anime/manga. If you want to play it, better watch at least the season 1 of the anime. In the end of the day, I will still read the manga and watch the anime.... and well, at least I have the characters in trophy icons that I could put in my cabinet. Popular Post RavenScythe
#152 - DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT Champion of Champions Obtained all trophies. Honestly, I found the A++ trophies not that hard, it was a bit easy to do on the low tier ranks, or I probably just fought a bunch of noobs, there were also times where there were bots + real players so that kinda helped a bit. Though I hated being on the side which has a disadvantage like 1v2 or 2v3. On the low tier ranks, there were also annoying HP Attack spammers then pair it up with lags ughh. Now I'm on Diamond and I have to say, online experience is now much better and most of the time lagless. There's a lot of really good JP/KR guys to fight and learn from and obviously, not HP attack spammers. Then the boring part. Damn.. that 300 Treasure trophy was a reaaaaaaally looooong booooring grind. Well now that I got the plat, I can get back to Online Mode to play and enjoy the game with friends. I missed a lot of custom matches lol. Side note, I really love this platinum image. Spoiler Edited February 23, 2018 by RavenScythe

It´s all about hard slog, repeated failures and repeating the same tracks/ challenges over and over and over. I like having a challenge, but at times it doesn´t seem fair when you are drafting, boosting, doing tricks as much as you can, making a perfect lap, and the AI still manage to keep up/pass you. It´s almost seems like you need to win a race with luck/RNG instead of just skill. The cops chasers certainly don´t help things as they always seems to be after you only. Popular Post Ala-Arska
The Sexy Brutale Totale Brutale You have unlocked every trick, secret and note that the mansion has to offer Now that room is a fire hazard if I ever saw one. The Sexy Brutale is sexy, brutal and I f**king love it! In all seriousness, I never thought I'd enjoy this game as much as I did. A surprising gem, to say the least TSB is an isometric whodunnit, giving the player abilities such as winding back time, super hearing, safe cracking and such. And it's in a mansion. I want to bring up the mansion part more, since it's always been one of my favorite settings in games and movies alike. Even the idea of it oozes mystery Usually there's a strong horror element involved, like in Resident Evil or films like House on Haunted Hill. Not so scary here, but disturbing instead. Initially I imagined Brutale as a comical quickie with little value, but it turned out to be grim, detailed and very well written. The plot and it's conclusion is finely crafted, from the very first moments to ending credits. There's clever hints everywhere, if you just pay attention I found the map here to be cool, too. A bit like Marauder's Map from Harry Potter, where you can see people moving around (or having sex, Google it!). Even though different beasts, I was so much reminded of the board game/movie Clue (or Cluedo!) that I watched said Tim Curry masterpiece afterwards. Awesome! I rarely give any numerical points to the games I play, but this one just screams 9/10 at me. It's a bloody good title and well worth experiencing Edited February 23, 2018 by Ala-Arska

I knew I was going to enjoy it though, the first one was actually my first Vita game (I'll probably end-up getting the remaster for the PS4 eventually), but I was a little disappointed this was a PS4 exclusive. ?
