Popular Post Nauticus87
#216 - Little Adventure On The Prairie (PS4) So quick, cheap and easy I did it again. Even at just under 12 minutes I'm only 16th fastest. #217 - South Park: The Fractured But Whole I love South Park. I grew up with it and even though recent seasons are of a worse quality it's still watchable and I still go back to old seasons on a regular basis. This, like Stick Of Truth, was just pure fun. The battle system was interesting, boss fights were imaginative and at times unexpected, the story kept up a good pace and the numerous little references had me laughing pretty much throughout it. Definitely recommended to any fan. #218 - Wheels Of Aurelia This was a pretty strange game. On the one hand it was oddly relaxing to simply drive through a few endings seeing as how it took all of 15-20 minutes, on the other it didn't have enough substance to withstand twenty playthroughs for the sixteen endings and unique cars and got very dull very fast. Even the conversations seemed tacked together with dialogue that didn't connect with what had just been said and repeated choices even after you'd already picked it. #219 - Crypt Of The Serpent King I think the only thread that's on this game-page talking about it being a new low for trophy lists is a bit harsh. This is certainly better than Mayo, Babysitter Sim, Little Prairie and the Energy games. I won't deny the trophy list is basic but the game itself is completely competent: it doesn't stutter, animations are basic but fluid, the whole game runs. It's just that it's aggressively mundane and average. With a few tweaks this could have been a decent game for the price: Weapons having actual variation rather than just damage, combining different enemies on each floor, more variety in floor structure/objectives and a few more things to find in the chests.
Popular Post starcrunch061
PLAT #267: THE LITTLE ACRE The Little Acre Unlock all the Trophies in The Little Acre Pretty, but disappointing, game. I was slow-playing this, paying attention only to the missable trophies (which are all kind of stupid), so I was paying pretty good attention to the story. And...it never went anywhere. It's like I was given a single scene in the life of some crazy scientists, with neither explanation nor lore to guide me in regards to their purpose, their character, their family, etc. In fact, until the girl called the guy "Dad" at the end of the game, I thought they were brother and sister (it was actually pretty jarring when Lily talked about "granddad".) Merr's motivation was summed up in one line: "Our world sustains his kind better than his world ever could." Apparently, he was left behind by other people, and wanted to see them, or something. After a while, I just gave up on it. No excuse for such poor storytelling in a damn point-and-click. the cutscenes were beyond useless. If there was one bright spot, it was the fact that the puzzles weren't the typical esoteric nonsense that passes for clever among the P&C crowd (as opposed to those stupid hexapads in Broken Age, etc. etc.). It was cheap, but I didn't really like it. Oh well. Edited March 2, 2018 by starcrunch061
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#249 - Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier The story was predictable and several technical issues make it seem as the development process was rushed. An OK game, that tried the "Telltale" approach, but didn't quite make it right. Enjoyment: 5 Difficulty: 2
Popular Post Fire
#172 - Far Cry Classic Paradise Memoirs Unlock All Trophies in FarCry Classic. With this game whole FC series is now completed/platted, well until FC5 Unlike later titles, Classic is unfortunately full of glitches and occasional freezing. The PS3 port is awful, and even tho i was looking forward playing it, it was a real chore to finish. The story is kinda boring and the ending was disappointing imo. Okay, enough about that lol On a side note, platinum is easy, so that's the only reason you should play this game, otherwise you can just skip it and play other FC games. Enjoyment 5/10 - Difficulty 3/10 Edited March 2, 2018 by Whyfire
Popular Post TheFalseDeity
#36 - The Sims 4 Ultimate Sim Guru Earn all trophies. Shouldve had this in like a week but instead it took me over a month as crashing and bugs killed my motivation to play at all :l But when it works as it should its decent enough. Definitely preferred 3 Pets but eh. Will not buy 5 early on when/if it comes in hopes of less issues though. Just another Sims game so not much to really say. Bar 1 annoying RNG related one the trophies are pretty simple. Get all careers and stats maxed and voila youve got like half of them not including ones youd pick up on the way to that. Triple play is tedious waiting on your luck to kick in but still technically very easy also so certainly not a hard plat.
Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #116 - L.A. Noire (PS3) Oooooo boy, this one was six years in the works. Took me a while to build up the will to go back and five star everything, but once I finished with that the collectibles were cake. While running through the cases again I realized the main reason I struggled with this game was that I just didn't like the main character all that much. Luckily his partners spiced things up enough to make me stick around.Game Rating: 7/10Platinum Difficulty: 4/10

Popular Post REDSHIRT64
Platinum #123 - Secret of Mana (PS4) It has been a looooooong time since I have posted in this thread... At least 30-40 plats . Anyway this game was on the MUST HAVE list the day it was announced as it is my fave RPG from the Super Nintendo days. I am not much of an RPG guy anymore (unless its Fallout) but I have to admit this remake was a good one! The game still keeps all the appeal from the original while enhancing grahics, adding cutscenes (which are kind of pointless), a new soundtrack (played the game with the original soundtrack, available in the options), changed a few enemy names, adding a collection guide and of course TROPHIES! The trophies are as straightforward as the linear plot line. Only two trophies are "really" missable as they require "rare item" drops from a specific enemy, once the location the enemy resides in is completed, the enemy disappears. The only downside to the game, same as the original, is the grinding required to complete the armor and weapon orb trophies. Expect to put anywhere from 5-10 hours into grinding, all dependent upon how much the RNG cooperates Plat Difficulty: 3 (Mainly for the grinding) Fun Factor: 9/10 (This may be seen as a homer vote lol)
Popular Post Melty
# 20: JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: EYES OF HEAVEN JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Earn all trophies. This game was cool. I'm finally going to start the manga/anime because this game was fun. It also has a pretty cool soundtrack too. Another fucked up screenshot for the plat.
Popular Post fantrig99
#96 Master of the Way of Curry Obtained all the trophies! Yay, you! Sorcery Saga The Curse of the Curry God is an RPG developed by Compile Heart for the Vita that tells a quite fun story of a girl who goes on an adventure to acquire special ingredients and save her favorite curry shop from closing down. She meets other characters along the way and I quite enjoyed the overall story journey. This is a roguelike rpg where everything is randomly generated and always starts off from level 1 at the beginning of the dungeon. Due to the random nature and the unpredictability of the dungeon layout the game does get quite tedious and difficult. I played the game on the digital version and had the game crashed twice but then realized to turn the wifi off the Vita sometime later and it helped. The early parts of the game is quite straightforward though as more dungeons open up there are more floors available to explore. The way to save a game in a dungeon is to make a temporary save before quitting to the menu. Reloading later on from the temporary save and the save file automatically deletes itself. Some enemies in the dungeons are very threatening due to their ways of able to permanently take away the inventory items and sometimes getting surrounded and not kinda prepared for the situation means getting defeated and starting again. I learn to backup the saves when traversing the long dungeons in the later parts and with the digital version I need to backup the whole game each time. However this does lessen the burden a little in case an unforeseen critical situation occurs. As for the trophies it has some very straightforward story trophies along the way. With the arrival of postgame I think the tedious part and long random dungeon crawling begins. Getting all the items and upgrading the weapons is very RNG based and sometimes a long 200+ floor dungeon journey some very rare items in my game just doesn't want to drop and I'm in for a long haul. In my game It took around 4 postgame dungeon trips to get around 90% of the items and the last 10% are using magic compacts and divine scrolls to change items while constantly resetting to finally get the required item and fill in all the required entries of the encyclopedia notebook. Upgrading all the magic is also very tedious as some books are rare though some powerful magic are great for boss battles but with very limited uses and requires random portals to replenish their uses. Getting a weapon or a shield to +99 and -99 required many plus and minus weapons and the minus ones are quite rare. Overall I quite enjoyed this unique rogulike rpg and it is my first experience with these types of dungeon crawling games. It is not difficult in my opinion though I think the tedious nature of the RNG factor test my patience of going through floor after floor of the dungeon and hoping to acquire those items while frequently back up every 20-30 floors or so. I recommend this game to anyone looking to check out roguelike rpgs as from what I read a good introduction to these types of games. All in all a good game and curry is great! Popular Post Silently
Kane and Lynch 2 Platinum # 31 Difficulty 5/6-10 Overall 4/10 Not bad, just a few issues on weapons accuracy, online dlc must have at least 4-6 people to play. Guest
Platinum Trophy #28: Tearaway (PS Vita) Perfectionist Collect all of the other trophies This is one of those games that has little to no replay value after you have finished the game. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#250 - Final Fantasy XV Enjoyed the game a lot overall, but there were a bunch of minor annoyances as well. The party AI is terrible as most of the time they do just stand around and do nothing. I didn't like the magic system at all, so I didn't bother using it. The Costlemark Tower "puzzle" and leveling fishing and survival can go get fucked. Popular Post Brawler
Platinum Trophy #77: Conqueror of the New World (Monster Hunter World) This is hands down one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had while completing a game in some time. This is in part due to both the quality of the game as well as the company (Namely @zajac9999 and @xZoneHunter with minor shoutouts going to @Wdjat Prinny Doods (The leecher formally known as Wayne) and big stinky Mudman Dan. While they aren't quite A-Team caliber, Dan and Wayne did have their moments respectively. Dan helped me with a handful of quests and Prinny was there for comedic relief. Zone and Zajac (Also known as "A-Team") provided the other 98% of the assistance. A special shoutout to the mysterious player who often joined our game and mounted the monsters in order to speed up the slaying process, we know him simply as "Jongeman". In all seriousness, having a good group cut down on the time required to plat immensely and made the process must more enjoyable. If it weren't for the company chances are I would've taken my time with completing this game as it is quite the grind to obtain all of the crowns given the sheer random nature of the game. This has nothing to do with the quality of the game but more with the task of obtaining all of the crowns as it's fairly random and it helps to have more eyes searching for possible targets. There are more random elements to the game such as Investigations and drops however they're fairly lenient thus making it easy to grind the materials needed for whatever items/equipment you'd like to obtain. I can't recommend this game enough to people looking for a solid co-op experience. Even when playing solo, the combat is rather fun and the game adjusts to singleplayer thus making it reasonable to play solo rather than making it so you rely on co-op to get through the game. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 (Some monsters can be a challenge, but there's nothing particularly brutal) Time of completion: 195 Hrs 12 Mins 56 sec
Popular Post Z-Yux
Platinum #34: Platinum Trophy from BioShock (Remastered). When the collection came out, I originally played it on Xbox One, but I eventually wanted to play it on PS4. I Really enjoyed it back then and still enjoyed it now. Great story-telling and gameplay to go along with that. Makes me wish that I played this game around the time it originally released back in 2007. The only thing that I can say is difficult is simply finding all the audio logs. There are a ton of them in the game and they can easily be overlooked if not careful. What's worse is that there are 5 missable audio logs throughout the game, causing people (myself included) to have to replay a good majority of the game again. Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Estimated Time To Platinum: ~12 hours Enjoyment: 8/10
Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
Guacamelee - PS3 (#89) Straight forward Metroidvania title. Given it's title, I would have figured the combat would have been harder than the platforming... but I was wrong. Trying to clear Tree Tops while streaming thru PSNOW was very challenging. Also completed all of the DLC, which was challenging, but not crazy. Made the mistake of playing Normal first, could have just completed a single playthru on Hard. Took me longer than expected, but still pretty fun. Edited March 4, 2018 by blu3st4rdust305 Incomplete
