Popular Post Darling Baphomet
Plat #38 - God of War 2 (vita) I'm going to be honest - I didn't like God of War 1 that much. When I finished it, I was really dreading working for God of War 2's platinum. But damn, was I blown away by what I got. The level design is awesome, the story is great, and the gameplay as a whole is far, far better than it was in 1. The game was a blast to play through, and the Challenge of Olympus was a hell of a lot more tolerable. It was difficult, sure, but unlike 1, it didn't rely on gimmicky insta-deaths (for instance, archers shooting you out of the air, or satyrs with their unblockable tossing attacks). Overall an awesome game. Definitely going to try to platinum the prequel trilogy when I get a ps3.

Popular Post Fire
#173 - Eventide: Slavic Fable Platinum Unlock every Trophy. Very easy hidden object game like any other Artifex Mundi game. It was much shorter then other titles since it required only one playthrough. Enjoyment 7/10 - Difficulty 2/10 #174 - Demetrios Cynical master Unlock all trophies in Demetrios. Demetrios is a simple, yet very interesting point-and-click game with a lot of "toilet" humor Characters are weird and the story is quite interesting. I really enjoyed in this game, so i can recommend it. And it's only couple of hours long platinum. Popular Post Sir-Syzygy
My Platinum Trophy Collection - #20 Crash Bandicoot 1 (N-Sane Remake) Seriously, not that hard. It's just like an easy maths topic; only one formula to master, such as Pythagoras, thus simple (the "formula" in the case of this game, is just managing how hard you press down the button since that will determine how long Crash's jumps will be). I have just come to terms with the fact I that my reasoning for why I think Crash Bandicoot isn't hyper-difficult, involved a MATHS EXAMPLE!... My geekiness (pop culture information) and nerdiness (academic information) aspects have now merged, the ultimate lifeform. EDIT: Yes, I felt the need to explain the difference between 'nerd' and 'geek'. Because so many people get it wrong I've developed a habit and explaining how they differ. *sigh* Edited March 9, 2018 by Crispy78923
Popular Post Jiano_Vera
Platinum #75 - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt At first glance I thought this was like any other open world game but after putting 104 hours into this game, this game is definitely a masterpiece. The attention to detail CDProject Red put into this is astounding. I highly recommend this game for any one that loves open world RPG’s.

Popular Post AustinMichael1
My 70th platinum, DragonBall Fighterz. TROPHY TRIUMPHANT Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 7/10 (Highly skill dependant) Time: 150hrs (depending on many factors( This was a tough platinum to go for simply for its online trophy that requires you to get 530k BP. With you losing points if you lose, this is the hardest one to get. I didn't boost this and did it legit and finished with a record of 197 wins and 37 losses. The worst part ended up being the grind for 20 million zeni which if you have the right set up, will take you at least 100 hours (and almost 3000 battles). It was the most boring thing I've ever done in a game, but after a lot of hard work, I made it to the top 30 platinum achievers on the game and currently have the 13th fastest platinum time. It was a fun game but the online trophy and the 20 million zeni trophy were the worst ones that killed the fun for me. Popular Post Cave Johnson
Dark Souls III The Dark Soul Acquire all trophies. I recently noticed that I was close to 4,000 trophies, so I waited a few days before getting the platinum. I didn't have anything else planned, so Dark Souls III was the obvious choice. Well, that and I've really come to love this series over the past few months. Farming for the covenant items was the absolute worst part of the platinum. It took somewhere between 10 and 15 hours (rough estimate) to get them all. The drop rates for the proof of a concord kept and the vertebra shackle are bullshit. Other than that, I had a lot of fun going for the platinum. Even hunting down all the magic I'm never going use is fun, in a way. Attempting to speedrun the game in NG+ and NG++ is something I've liked doing since the first Dark Souls. It feels great to destroy all the bosses that kicked my ass the first time around. As for the game, I'm not sure how I'd rank it. The first Dark Souls is still my favorite, but Dark Souls II and III aren't far off. The bosses in III were some of the hardest in the series (for me, anyway). Keep in mind that I don't use any magic, shields, or NPC summons. These dumb self-imposed challenges probably make it harder than it needs to be, but I just feel I have to do them. A certain two assholes at the top of the castle made me quit the game for nearly three weeks. When I finally went back to it, I realized I was approaching it wrong, and I beat them after a few tries. I still hate that fight, though. I also hate Aldrich (magic spamming motherfucker) and Pontiff Sulyvahn. It kind of saddens me that there's now only one game in this series (technically not the same series, but whatever) that I haven't played. Though I guess there is always stacking Demon's Souls, the original version of Dark Souls II, and Dark Souls Remastered.

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #135 Monsters vs Aliens Monsters vs Aliens Champion Unlock all 45 trophies to earn this. Took me nearly 9 years to do it, but I did it. Finally got a cheap enough copy to finish this. Rented it back in 2009. Had to replay through it just in case for the 10 deaths one, but it was alright. It's a mediocre, repetitive, licensed game. Not much to say other than that.
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
Re: CoM PS4 Chain of Memories Master At last I'm done with this dull grind. Ah, Chain of Memories. A game thats found itself either overlooked or unappreciated by the masses, and for good reason unfortunately. The story is... not too bad, actually. It feels like SE's most competent attempt to introduce new characters and plot elements; we don't get alot in terms of character development (with the exception of ONE character, who gets boatloads), but we do get a nice little set-up and a sense of mystery for coming events. Problem is, you have to contend with a cumbersome battle system to do so. Fighting in this game is just not any fun. The reason for this is that outside of jumping and a pretty useless dodge roll, you are completely at the mercy of the cards. Cards that can and will run out, leaving you with little to no means of attacking/defending yourself unless you stop dead in your tracks and act like a sitting duck so you can "reload" them. Battles grind to a stressful standstill trying to gain your bearings and match the enemies deck, a deck you better hope you were managing constantly to avoid being locked in an endless loop of break-attack-break-attack. The last thing you want is to put all your hopes in a low level item card that the enemy can and WILL easily break destroying it for the rest of the battle because you didn't have enough CP for a higher number card because you gave yourself an HP boost because the game was slaughtering you because your low level cards sucked and DSKUFGDSKFUGDSFOIUGDSFIUGDS. Ok, so I'm venting a bit. Truth is, this game is manageable, and if you stick with it, you'll have access to a number of game breaking moves to compensate for the basic combat, but make no mistake, you are compensating. Not enhancing, not exploring, compensating. It's not fun. And of course, what can be better than having a mediocre entry with have a cumbersome battle system? Having 90% of the trophies associated with long dull grinding, of course! We're talking beating the game on hard, beating the game without dying, without running from a battle, numbered objectives up in the hundreds here. So yeah, players who never touched this game who don't care at all about trophies will probably like it. Everyone else, go ahead and avoid. The level of badness will vary from person to person, but the underlying notion is correct; this game just isn't worth it.

Popular Post lynx_1985
Dead Space 2 The Final Frontier Finally got around to getting the platinum for Dead Space 2 and as I had not played it for like 5 years or so I killed the boss at the end and was happy as my last save was like chapter 11 but I completely forgot about the zero-G section at the end. I hate those zero-G sections especially the one at the end of chapter 7, so finicky. Dead Space 2 is by far my favourite, the first was decent and the third one (I am yet to complete) feels a tad arcadey to me. The second game is definitely my favourite it's a shame EA (EA being EA - greedy money grabbers) shut down Visceral Games as I would have liked to have seen them have one more shot at a Dead Space game, loved the series. Yet to even touch Extraction which I got that free with Dead Space 2.

Story is very bad with searching those sister sof fate all the time. And length is streched for too long. Difficulty is not ballanced at all even on normal. GW1 was better, not by much but better. Now I'm playing 3 and its much better than any previous game in the series.
Popular Post Juzota
#97 - Batman: Arkham City (PS3) Platinum Congratulations! Not only did I get the Platinum but I also got every DLC-trophy and oh brother it was a ride. I haven't been really into trophy hunting this year (it's my 2nd Platinum), but for some reason I felt that I needed to finish this game. I'm not even sure why because when I first played this back in the 2014 I didn't really enjoy this that much. Now that I got back into it, I did really appreciate it much more. This is actually a really good game, but I'm pretty sure that it's not a big secret or anything. Story in this game was pretty good, but I did enjoy Arkham Asylum more because of its atmosphere. In City there was much more side-missions and some of them was good, but some not so much. To get the Plat I had to fly around the city to find those damn random acts of violences. Didn't take me more than 20 minutes extra playtime, but anyway it wasn't that much fun. Also, there was waaaaaaay too many Riddler-trophies. 400 for Batman and 40 for Catwoman. Thankfully you don't have to collect them second time in New Game+ for 100% completion. Collecting Riddler-trophies is the most boring part of the game in every Arkham game. I already has the Plat for Arkham Asylum and compared to that, I think City was a bit easier game to achieve the Platinum-trophy. Maybe it's because I've learned how to play these games but that's how I felt after Platinum popped. I didn't really had any problems with Combat and Predator Challenges (as Batman) like I did with Asylum. On the other hand those challenges with some other characters (Catwoman & Nightwing especially) were pretty difficult from time to time. But with some patience and youtube guides everything is possible. Great game. I'm glad I gave it a second chance. Popular Post Justin__Harris
Platinum #43: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS4) Game Score: 8.5/10 Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 Continuing with my first time playthrough of the Uncharted series, I had a really great time with the second entry from the Nathan Drake Collection. I enjoyed the first game a lot, but this one really took it up a notch. I thought the story was much better and more exciting than the first game. The narrative and exposition was very well-written. I do have complaints with some of the controls and glitches that were in this remastered port that I definitely found to be agitating. But despite my minor gripes with the game, this is easily one of the best games I've played. Definitely looking forward to the third entry which I'll take on in a couple of weeks. The Platinum isn't really difficult to accomplish, outside of the tedious grind of treasures and beating the game on Crushing Difficulty, I found it to be manageable. I'm going to wait to go for 100% on this and the first one, as I feel like taking on Brutal Difficulty for the trilogy without the Golden weapons will be a tedious and annoying task that I'd rather come back to later. Awesome game. I had a great time. Edited March 11, 2018 by Justin__Harris
