Popular Post Cave Johnson
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F Trophy Master All trophies unlocked! Yeah, I stacked it. My sister owns the PS3 version of F, so I knew I'd end up stacking it eventually. I didn't expect to do it so soon, but a few things led to this happening. After playing F 2nd on PS3, it was hard to go back to playing the first one on Vita. 60+ hours of using the PS4 controller later, the Vita buttons felt really small in comparison. Well, that and I'd rather not wear down the buttons on my Vita; replacing a controller is a lot easier. Anyway, I made it more interesting this time by trying to get the platinum as fast as possible. I could've done it faster, but it took forever to get the last picture for the art collection trophy. I got 5th place on the fastest achievers list with my time of 3 hours, 48 minutes.
Popular Post Izularia
#212 IA/VT Colorful Gosh, that beautiful platinum tile! I think I enjoyed it a little more than the Project Diva games, but I'm still a big fan of these games too. I had imported the game when it came out and only recently decided to go back to it and clean up the remaining trophies. I also need to go back and complete Project Diva X and Project Diva Future Tone at a later point. I think IA/VT got an easier gameplay than the Project Diva games and the only difficult part is Step Up Play Hard, but that is definitely doable with a bit of practice. Worst part was playing all songs on easy cause that's very tiresome.
Popular Post Fire
#176 - Handball 16 Uncontested master All trophies have been unlocked. This is by far the worst sports game i have ever played Starting from gameplay, controls, AI to camera angles everything is just awful. Only reason why i've played this game is because it was free on PSPlus and platinum is UR (even tho it's really easy). I don't recommend this game at all. Instead just go play something else Enjoyment 2/10 - Difficulty 3/10
Popular Post starcrunch061
Decided to get two plats yesterday: PLAT #274: CRIMINAL GIRLS: INVITE ONLY Trophy Complete Obtain all trophies Remarkably solid title. I had feared that the fan service would be used to take the place of gameplay, but Criminal Girls battles were fun. Even the grinding (of which the game requires a lot) was always welcome, since great rewards (and more fan service) were just around the corner. I hope that the sequel goes on sale someday - I'll pick it up. PLAT #275: VIRGINIA Virginia I never made decisions. Things always came up and made them for me. A stain on gaming. Virginia's premise is enticing - follow the events of an FBI case, without using long dialogue to forward the plot. I had hoped to see some clever use of graphics to convey emotions, or tension, etc. Instead, Virginia is the PS4 equivalent of the awful Monkee's movie "Head". There is nothing like a plot in the game (which inevitably led to critics comparing this to "Twin Peaks", apparently the standard fallback for literary-challenged apes). The gameplay itself is a chore - walking isn't smooth, and the jittery nature of the camera gave me motion sickness. Further, the fact that I had to play the game twice for the plat, despite the fact that there is absolutely no change between playthroughs (other than slight aesthetic differences assuming you pick up hidden collectibles), and this game might be the worst game I've played (among games that actually work). Popular Post yellowwindow7
Past, Present, and Future / Dark Cloud 2 or Dark Chronicle OMG! i Finally plated dark cloud 2 ? one of the games that i only played through it once on the ps2 ages ago and personally never actually likes it as much as the first game, but when i tried to replay it for the fun my ps2 said HOLD IT COWBOY!.... I'm Dying i never played this game ever again until now on the ps4. the game is a really good JRPG and the gameplay mechanics is very deep and fixes most of the repeatedness the first game is well known for and i gotta say this game gameplay is actually even slightly better than Rouge Galaxy, the game that was considered to actually being Dark Cloud 3... i think. but.. and oh Lord! the BUT....... trophies wise it's easily the no.1 worst playstation 4 game i ever sit through and plat it so far, i'm actually aware of how tedious the platinum is on dark cloud 2, but i still got the game from a special sales so cheap just to enjoy it again, i was never actually planned to plat the game at all but i told myself that i would if only i managed to get all the medals from the challenges.... speaking of the challenges this is where this platinum sucks so hard, first it's the spheda minigame, imagine playing a golf game where you have a limit on how many time you can hit the ball and ball itself have the worst and most clunky ball physics you can ever imagine, and if you fail then you have to get out of the floor of the said dungeon then return, kill all the enemies again just to try again and god only knows if you'll gonna do it right this time around... it's almost a luck based due to that random generated system and put insult to injury there's like 40 or something place that required you to beat this stupid minigame on. then you have the "Kill all Enemies using only Items" you have to save money to buy bombs and anything that can be thrown at enemies to might kill them in one shot, this is stupidly kinda broken as sometimes enemies like the ones that looks like a pirate ship cannon can accidentally hit a fellow enemies with their own cannon ball and this stupid trophy will considered that you have used a weapon to hit an enemy with resulting in failing the challenge and well, you know what to do just to restart the challenge. the fishing minigames is manageable as long as you have baits and constantly upgrading your fishing rod but still a luck based. but the monster transformation challenges is the one that won the cheeseburger here, you have to kill all the monsters in the floor you're on with Monica's monster transformation, it sound easy at first until you learn that the monster leveling up WAY TOO DARN SLOW! and you need to level up so you can kill the bigger ones later on, not to mention that there's a trophy about reaching the final form of at least one monster which is level 76, even when follwing a guide that recommend doing it on the final chapter of the game but i swear i falls asleep a couple of times during my grinding sitting and only wakes up every time i been hit by an enemy when the controller vibrate, i'm just glad that this torture have ended. the platinum is not hard, it's just frustrating and very grindy beyond the limit. big shout out to ShadowGandalf for the awesome trophy guide . The singleplayer was spot on and the storyline was just beautiful. A very long adventure with a lot of action going on. The multiplayer of this game is probably one of my all-time favorite MP games ever that i spent over 300 hours into it and from this day i'm still playing the MP just because it's awesome. Grounded mode was a bitch but thanks to an awesome glitch it made it very easier although some parts were annoying as hell like killing David and the Lakeside chapter in general. Popular Post DuckSwimmer
#53: The American Dream Lived The American Dream Thanks for playing! Love, Samurai Punk Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 After cleaning up the last couple of trophies I will admit I am blind. The game overall is really fun. One of the best VR experiences that's out imo. The world does feel pretty in depth..ignoring the fact that people and some objects are just planks of wood. The humor in this game is amazing though. From the name of the trophies, to what actually happens in the game.. it's fantastic. This is definitely one of the VR titles I would recommend to anyone who has or is planning to get a VR. Although trophy wise this game can get pretty annoying. One level I had issues trying to aim and shoot bottles down, another level I struggled to hit people with one shot or else bullets would ricochet off the walls. NOT TO MENTION THE DIALOGUE... There is so much dialogue in this game that you cannot skip it which is another huge downside for those who are playing again to get all of the trophies.. but other than that I did find the game extremely fun. Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #118 - Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom (PS4) Well, this game stole a ton of my time over the past week but I really had a good time with it. The game as a whole is beautifully done and each of the main locations were fun to explore. The combat in this game feels really good, but it is SUPER easy. I fought the end game boss while I was still 20 or so levels below him as well as one of the super bosses. The fights never really made me sweat unless I was 30~40 levels under whatever I was fighting. The story is pretty decent but it has a lot of reading. There are a ton of side quests and little things to do that keep your attention throughout the game and post-game content.Music is amazing as expected and the VO work is decently done.Game Rating: 9.5/10Platinum Difficulty: 2.5/10

Popular Post madbuk
#248 - Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom This game was worthy of being my second pre-order ever. I loved every minute of this 85 hour platinum, and am rather sad it's finally over. The changes to combat from Ni no Kuni 1 are great, I wasn't really a fun of the ATB system or the Pokemon taming system, because RNG is annoying and the familiar taming relied solely on RNG. This game does have an issue with difficulty - it's ridiculously easy for most of the game, the only exception being the tainted monsters, and so you rarely use any of the many mechanics introduced in this game, but that's okay. It was fun anyway to enter a fight and beat everything up with little resistance. The kingdom building mode was a lot of fun, I was worried it was going to be like Port Royale 3 which I never managed to understand and thus put myself in endless debt, but the kingdom building mode isn't nearly as complicated and you can't 'lose' by entering debt, it's just constant growth. It's neat to see your kingdom evolve as you progress through the game and recruit new citizens. The kingdom was also great for farming resources and resulted in almost no issue with crafting stuff in the game. The "craft 50 x" trophies were a cakewalk and the side quest items that needed crafting weren't too complicated - I much prefer this to the infuriatingly low drop rates of some of the alchemy items in the first game, because again RNG is annoying. I will admit that the characters (outside of Roland and Evan) weren't very deep or interesting, and had very little development, but the story of the game made up for the lack of interesting characters and kept me engaged from start to end, although I do have a few questions, especially in regards to late-game, that were never answered. The skirmishes are probably the weakest part of the experience, they're very repetitive and bland, but once you get the right set-up you breeze through them so you don't have to be playing them for long. Overall I'd say that this game is without a doubt better than the first game, and it's sad to see it getting so much hate in certain communities. I'd love to see a Ni no Kuni III at some stage, preferably without another 5-7 year wait between them. I can't wait to see what DLC they have in store for this, they've said 2 story expansions, but we have no information about them yet.
Popular Post Mori
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Legend I am so glad, that it is finally over .. really, really disliked the game for its' trophies. Main game was ok, but jesus christ the optional stuff was just a tedious grind. Good, that I did not pay a single dime for that game. WipeOut Omega Collection Transcendence Had a blast playing this game. I usually do not play racing games because I dislike them, but WipeOut delivered good. 2048 and Fury were really great, while WipeOut HD was sometimes a nightmare on elite difficulty. On some events it did not matter how perfect I drove, because the AI did not make any mistakes and the set up of weapons did not allow me to get near 1st place or even 2nd place, which resulted in endless retries. The Soundtrack fits the game very well and pumped me, while driving with high speed and Airbraking in curves. NieR: Automata Final Words (Buy this game!) NieR: Automata is a pure gem. One of the games, that made me switch to Playstation again. My words can not do justice to how great this game is. It has been a very, very long time, since I needed to take a break after finishing a game. And the soundtrack ... by the love of god .. it is amazing. I am listening to the OST almost all day. I dont even know what to play next, because my thoughts are still with this game all the time .. Thank you, Yoko Taro
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#84 - Monster Hunter: World "Conquerer of the New World" Unlock all trophies for Monster Hunter: World I don't even know here to start when talking about this masterpiece of a game. I'd never played a MH game before, but had always suspected I might enjoy the gameplay loop. Needless to say, I was absolutely not disappointed! And now here I am, 530 hours later, with the platinum trophy; one of my proudest gaming achievements. Note that you could easily halve that platinum time if you spent all your time crown hunting, but I was having so much fun that I didn't even care. I had 43 loadouts (all of which were optimised to different situations) by the end of the game, and they were each as fun as each other to play. And that's not even the beginning! Let me break down some of the things I loved about my time with MH:W... Amazing combat system - There was such a huge variety of mechanical depth with each weapon type, I was still discovering new moves 400 hours in. Though I had a few favourites (Charge Blade, Great Sword and Insect Glaive in particular), I loved all of them in different ways and for different circumstances. Elements, gems, slots, armour skills... the ways you can augment and change your play style goes on and on. Truly masterful stuff! Crafting system and huge variety of builds - By the end of the game, I'd created at least 4 builds for each weapon type; testament to the depth of weapons you can make. Fire, Dragon, Paralysis, poison... I absolutely loved this. Addictive gameplay loop - Carrying on from the last point, the gameplay loop (deciding on gear you want, killing required monster, upgrading said gear, then finding another monster, etc, etc.) is so addictive. Every time I finished a mission, I had something else I wanted to chase for. I can't think of another recent game that has been pulled me in like this. Masterful Awesome monster designs - I loved the variety of terrifying (and cute!) monsters in this game. There was no monster that I hated fighting; and that's a big deal when the whole game is built around killing the same 20 monsters again and again By the end, I'd killed >50 of each monster too, and I was still having fun trying new weapon combinations. Beautiful and creative world design - Again, even 300 hours in I was still discovering new areas and mechanics in the 5 expansive maps. The first few hundred hours in particular consisted of discovery after discovery as I found out just how deep the mechanics were. I especially liked the huge variety of ways you could use the slinger. Very pretty - Not 4K and crazy pretty like many other games, but still very nice to look at in parts. No complaints here! Multiplayer - Hunting monsters with friends was always going to be fun, but this was some of the most fun Co-op gaming I've had since Destiny 1 (which, for reference, I consider one of my favourite MP games of all time, despite all its shortcomings). Monsters were balanced well - in my opinion - around extra people too, and the variety of ways you can support your team (perks, items, abilities, etc.). Secret, hidden things to chase - This here is a huge one for me. I've always been a sucker for hidden secrets to find in games like this, and the 'grind' here was just as good as any of them In particular, I loved the chase for the hidden guild card background for catching all unique wildlife. It took an obscene amount of time to find the great gunpowder fish though Weekly event quests - While the idea of this is standard fare for many games these days, there were some super creative and wacky missions here. For example, this week had you fighting a giant chicken for a hat that... looked like a chicken haha. Great mix of challenge and Japanese humour. There were only a few minor things I didn't enjoy, including the somewhat convoluted MP joining systems, the 'meh' story, and under-developed cooking and tempered monster systems. Also, it was ridiculously difficult to get some of the gems. Seriously, after 500 hours I only had 2 - that's right, 2 - attack jewels. To be fair, I had a bunch of all the other ones, and attack jewels aren't even always the best, so it wasn't too much of an issue. The trophies in this game are all quite straight forward too. The only real 'hard' trophies are the crown hunting trophies; and even then, it's literally just a timesink (i.e. you need to invest a LOT of time into it). Because I'm such a nice guy, here's a few main tips: Biggest tip: do the weekly 'crown event quests' when they come up. So far, there's been 1 for each of the areas except Elder's Recess; and there's no reason to believe they won't do the same for that map too. I believe they'll be bringing all of these events back on the 6th of April for the Spring Blossom Festival too, so a great chance there Check out these really helpful crown guides: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLXS4Ai4A-s&t=203s. I used this bloke's videos to find my last few crowns; they're super helpful in 'real life' size comparisons. Basically, he shows fool-proof methods of checking whether a monster is big / small before you even fight it. For example, there is a marking on Lavasioth's left leg that gives a very clear indicator of size; it takes out so much of the frustration in farming! And a few more quick ones: Store up as many investigations with gold rewards as you can If you start up a mission and there are other monsters - not your targets - who are roaming, feel free to check them out for sizes too! I found a lot of mine this way; even though I was supposedly hunting a Dodogama, I found a gold crown Azure Rathalos for example. If you don't find what you're looking for, abandon quest to camp. You'll be able to start your next investigation much quicker this way If you do find what you're looking for, return from quest!!! If you abandon, you'll lose whatever crown it might have been. That said, if you're in a multi-monster hunt but you only need to kill one for the crown, this still works. Namely, if you killed / captured a crown monster and return from quest without 'completing' it, the crown will still count. Well, I think that's enough from me. Basically, this is a cracker of a game. If you love grinding for the best loot in a super fun world with your friends, you'll have an absolute blast here. Just don't expect much in the way of story to keep you engaged. That said, this game was near perfect in my eyes. Check out a few sick picks of my final character if you want... Enjoyment rating: 9.5/10 Plat difficulty: 3/10 Estimated time to plat: 250 hours (heavily RNG dependent) Happy hunting Edited March 31, 2018 by FluffyAssassin64 Fixed a link & some formatting
