Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #119 - Hidden Agenda (PS4) Got this game a few weeks back because it was $5 and I had played it a few times before with my sister and her husband. The game is okay, but there a lot of things wrong with it.The game itself is a butterfly effect type deal that Supermassive has dabbled with in Until Dawn. The biggest problem is that compared to their past game this had a very linear path that more or less ended up in the same place. Sure, there are like eight different endings, but a lot of them feel like they shouldn't have occurred based on the decisions I made throughout the game. There was one ending I got that should have resulted in the death of two certain people. Actually, I saw their demise with my own eyes and one of the characters showed up in the ending credits as alive. Examples like this really pulled me out of the experience. This game also does not have chapter select. If you want to see other endings you need to play through the whole game. It isn't a long one, but it is annoying since most of the early chapter choices make very little difference.Polish is something this game sorely lacks. It is sad seeing how badly executed this game is compared to Supermassive's other games. On the positive side there were truly creepy moments and the music plays just as big of a part as it did in Until Dawn. All in all not a bad experience, but not a great one either.Game Rating: 5.5Platinum Difficulty: 2/10
Popular Post GravityQueeen
Hi there, trophy hunters! This time I bring some really good stuff. # 18 - Metal Slug Anthology I have a lot of good memories from playing this series on arcade, ps1 and ps2. Metal Slug is known for beeing a fun solo or coop one hour experience, for its huge mechanical bosses, for the tanks, and for its difficulty. The ps4 version of Metal Slug Anthology is a ps2 port, it performs no different than the original. I don't think the lag is awful as some people say; the first game has a noticeble lag, though, but it's not that bad and it didn't affected my enjoyment, especially when you get used to it. Wanna add this platinum to your collection? Well, prepare yourself for this bullet hell of a collection! Man, you will have to beat the 7 games using no more than 5 continues in each one. But you can take Metal Slug 6 of the list: it's a piece of cake playing as Ralf, on easy. I love Metal Slug, it was revolutionary, it's still one of the best within it's genre. I reccomend you to challenge yourself and have fun with this war parody; the platinum is hard but doable for everyone willing to perfect this classic SNK franchise. Allen O'Neil and his big machine gun are waiting for you (I love that dude!, he is a normal guy trying do to do his job, you know? He has a family and even so you kill him everytime... You and the orca!). # 19 - Axiom Verge Kinda cult, isn't it? Well, my expectation with this one-man-project was very high, but I have mixed feelings about this one. Personally, I think Axiom Verge is overestimated a bit; it is a decent experience, about average or slightly above. Maybe a Metroid clone with less soul or personality; don't take me wrong, though, the game was made with passion and is certainly a love letter to Samus Aran. The thing is, I didn't like, for example, the weapons: there are many weapons, with only a few beeing memorable or fun to use. The soundtrack became annoying to me when backtracking that much. Combat gets boring easily. The game should have featured more bosses. It's an easy platinum, by the way. The speedrun shake things a bit and it gets interesting. If I would review the game, I would give a 7/10, because in the end Axiom Verge is classic and has its moments, especially when it comes to the world lore and art style. It is good, but it is not that fun. It's cult, I guess! # 20 - Bound The trophy guide in this website says it is a "highly coveted" platinum. Fancy, uh? I'm so glad I managed to complete it! I saved it for my 20th platinum milestone because I was intending to challenge myself with this beautiful indie game, and because it features a female protagonist (I'm on a campaign of "female protagonist milestones" thing; maybe because I based my ID in Gravity Rush, Kat... I don't know! I'm a boy and I'm not feminist or anything like that, I just like female characters ^^). Bound is one my favorite games now; honestly I don't understand why it got medium to bad scores. Bound has everything I enjoy in a game: pretty, artistic graphics; perfect gameplay, platforming; great level design, with unconceivable shortcuts; amazing soundtrack; a story with blanks that the player can fill; and a speedrun mode! Its uniqueness is really impressive. I call it a feat in modern gaming and I thank Plastic Studios and Santa Monica for that. How many games with a ballet dancer protagonist have you played? And she dances to extinguish her fears. She is trying to overcome her past, her childhood, but only you can decide what she will do next. It's a psychological narrative and it's all about gravity (always wanted to say that! because... You know, Gravity Queen reference? Joke?). I praise Bound for what it is, and perhaps it is not for everyone. I must say, though, that the difficulty is somewhat overestimated. A very good player may call it a 7 in terms of difficulty, I give it a fair 8. Anyway, it is not the 9 or even the 10 you might have heard out there. Part of me want you to never try this game out, because I don't want my rarest trophy becoming more common... The other part of me, well, the other part is very proud for playing Bound ❤️. Popular Post SmilexBomb
Downwell Done Well Completed All Other Trophies Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 7/10 Time: 15 hours This game was great. Really simple controls and gameplay in theory, but dear lord it can get pretty challenging. Normal took maybe 5 hours over a few nights, and slowly chipped away at Hard mode for maybe 30 minutes every night for a little while. There was a massive jump in difficulty between Normal and Hard, and going back to Normal for some clean up trophies felt like an absolute cake-walk afterwards. Highly recommend if you enjoy shmups. Currently im also going for the plat, really a great game, i like it very much. Do you have any tips for me? Im currently doing all the speedruns, then i thought about collecting all memory shards and going for the 100% run, and then lastly the complete speedrun and the cautios trophy. You think thats a good strategy?

You think thats a good strategy? The best tool you already have, which is enjoying the game. I think it is essential When it comes to approach, I would suggest leaving the 3 hard trophies for last: 3 - "Speedrunner" is the easier one, do it first and use the shortcuts you are confortable with. If you struggle with certain shortcut, simply don't do it. There is plenty of room for errors, believe me. 2 - "100% Run" is no joke! Sometimes it is wise to slow down and make sure you collect all fragments. In my first attempt I lost one single fragment and it was very frustrating. My advice is completting the run even if you miss a fragment, next time pay more attention where you missed it. 3 - "Cautious" has one secret: on those tiny stairs don't jump, simply run and the dancer will cross it. Maybe selecting what is the worst level for you right of the back is a good strategy. Complete a run even if you die. Practice is the only way to go. I'm cherring for you! Youre gonna get it for sure. Edited April 4, 2018 by GravityQueeen

For the 100% run, did you took notes or had you already memorized all the locations?
Popular Post NaRayquaza
Final Fantasy XIII-2. It took me around 13 hours (no jokes here) to collect the remaining data of the enemies and I've done it with audio totally turned off, the only thing I could hear was my PS3's fan. Still better than hearing english voices. Now I can finally play it on PC.

Popular Post Cellcrash1991
Had a break from gaming. I have those moments from time to time, lol. Maybe it's because I have way to many to still play. But anyway, today I earned my next platinum trophy. #45: Batman: The Enemy Within I Am the Night Completed Batman: The Enemy Within I liked this season more than Season 1. Probably because of the whole Joker thing, a character I missed in the first season. It's one's again your average Telltale game, wich means 1/10 difficulty. But that doesn't make it a bad game in my opinion. :-) I'm curious how the ending is going to affect season 3. (if there will be a 3rd season anyway) Edited April 4, 2018 by Cellcrash1991

Popular Post Z-Yux
Platinum #37: Rory Mcilroy PGA Tour. This platinum was a huge pushover for me. I ran into multiple problems with Special Delivery. This trophy is very buggy and it caused me to, essentially, play through parts of the career mode three different times. In terms of difficulty, this platinum sure wasn't easy to begin with. Going through the Nightclub Challenges is a grind in itself and a good challenge. While I was doing these challenges, I faced many game crashes and freezes, which was very frustrating. All in all, it was a fairly enjoyable game, but the random amount of crashes and the final buggy trophy needed hindered the enjoyment for me a little bit. Popular Post Angel
Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana This is my first time playing a Ys so I wasn't sure how it will go and... Wowzers, I absolutely love it! Beautiful scenery, characters with lots of charm, amazing gameplay, and of course an engaging story. I loved every moment playing this game and had so much fun exploring the island. Platinum wise from my personal experience,a straightforward and easy platinum if you decide to go for two playthroughs due to Nightmare difficulty. Although there are trophies like collect all weapons, items, fish, etc. Nothing ever felt like a chore ( Raids toward the end were a bit longer then they should have but still enjoyable ), they all unlocked naturally just by exploring the island and talking to the other castaways. I highly recommend this game as I had fun and an quite enjoyable Platinum to add. Thank you for your time and wishing you the best on your new Platinum.
Popular Post Justin__Harris
Platinum #46: RiME (PS4) Game Score: 6.5/10 Platinum Difficulty: 2/10 Finished this a few days ago. Still chipping away at my PS+ backlog and this was a game I was very interested in playing. It's artistically beautiful, with wonderful sound design which gives you a pleasant experience similar to that of Ico or Journey. The game itself is okay, but a bit lackluster since it's more of the same and doesn't really do anything innovative that makes it stand out. What really got me was the story itself, which without spoiling anything is a wonderful tale of experiencing the five stages of grief. It's a beautiful story, but I was expecting a bit more from the game. And also, with this art style, after playing games like Breath of the Wild (which isn't at all the same type of game), I built myself up for wanting more to do and happen. It's an enjoyable experience. Easy platinum. I would say to follow a guide for the collectibles if you don't want to go over the chapters again, but it does have chapter select which makes things easier.

Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #195: Metropolis Lux Obscura (PSV) Raunchy Bejewled game with great art and good voice acting (Feel the raw emotions and portrays the main character not giving a shit about his world.). Pulls off Noire setting really well. Just a bit on the short side. 4 hours to platinum. You can perma level up a select perk from a choice of 4 (Total 12+ varities of Perks) after each battle. Some of which can change the tide of the match 3 battle. Personally liked upgrading the Insult one...where you have a chance for the opponent to skip a turn. It saved my ass a lot, some enemies his too hard. Max Stack 3: PSV, PS4 and 2 regions (EU, NA) Difficulty: 2 Enjoyment: 8 Rating: 7.5 Platinum #196: Reverie (PSV) Within the first ten minutes it easily bring nostalgia to some Super Nintendo games. Visually similar to Earthbound/Mother series and gameplay wise it similar to Legend of Zelda Link to the Past. There are 5 dungeons to complete the story. A post game dungeon when you are done with the story. Each dungeon scales up in puzzle difficulty and layout. Complexity increasing with each tool or weapon you gain from the dungeon. Requiting precise timing and planning. There are small side quests, two mini games, Secret locations to uncover, and collecting feathers. For trophy hunters, this is an easy platinum. Nothing is miss able. Platinum can be earned with a time frame of 6-8 hours. With a max possible stack of 4 platinum across incoming PS4 Port, Vita in 3 PSN regions (ASIA, EU, NA). Personally, I enjoyed every single of minute of it. Exploring the over world, engaging entertaining boss battles and brain provoking puzzles. Though, The first two dungeons were easy to breeze through. None of the music grated my ears. Each area and dungeon had it’s own track. My few issues with a game were the lack of aggression from most of the enemies as they stick to their own pattern of movement without following you. There are 2-3 enemies that do follow you across the room. There is a specific tool that makes combat super easy by stunning them. Give you enough breathing to attack. You never feel in danger till you get to the boss. You will be visiting the menu to switch one of your 3 weapon slots a lot. Mostly to disarm enemies that can’t be hurt by your cricket bat initially. Also to deal with section of a puzzle. That could get tedious. There is enough to content to justify it’s 12.99 price tag. If you are Earthbound or Zelda fan. Absolute recommend to that fanbase. If you are itching for a Vita game to play. Enjoyed this enough, to try out Adventure Time 1 dollar game. Looking forward to the eventual PS4 stack (Crossbuy) PSTV Compatible as well. Difficulty: 4 (Puzzles, Enemies are Meh bar the Bosses) Enjoyment: 9 Rating: 8
