Popular Post DrBloodmoney
#320 - A Way Out This game is a cool concept, that never really gets off the ground. Played the whole thing in couch co-op, and that certainly helped it to be fun in places (I can’t imagine it being at all fun online with strangers), and it is occasionally awesome, but the game is primarly story-based, and unfortunately the quality of the writing and the voice acting is nowhere near good enough to support that. The game would have benefitted hugely from someone whose native language is English doing a pass of the script, and from hiring some real actors. The two main actors are clearly trying hard, but the lines they need to deliver are often so akward that Daniel Day Lewis and Meryl Streep couldn’t make them work, let alone these two. The less said about the line readings of the small parts the better! My wife and I lost count of how many times we referenced Tommy Wiseau when referring to the line reads. (Anyone who has played it remember the cop talking to the nurse in the hospital? It sounded like the rehearsal of a high-school play...) The plot is okay, if outrageously nonsensical, and the ending is predictably silly and fun, and makes for some good shouting and cursing if you are playing with a friend. (Or a wife!) Recommended if you have a couch buddy to play with, and like watching movies like ‘The Room’ and ‘Birdemic’. Popular Post Extratenzy
#27 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Need for Speed Elite Time spent: 40 hours Rarity: 8.42% VR (PSNP) 0.9% (PSN) Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 This game is so fucking beautiful. loved how it made me feel like i'm really chasing some racers or getting away with it. I've played this game on mobile platforms so i had a good idea of it but the console version is wayyy better. I loved the Porsche cars in this game a lot and the soundtrack of the game was spot on, MP was bad imo. i'll also never forget the DLC Super sports cop event: Duty Calls - Rapid Response as this one made me rage a lot for the 100%. overall this game is a beast and no wonder why that this game has the most game owners of all NFS games according to PSNP. and the visuals for a 2010 game are stunning for the PS3. wish if EA would've remastered this instead of Burnout.
Popular Post grimydawg___
121 Burnout Paradise Remastered First platinum in months. Still have to finish up DLC and stuff. Very nice to play this game on the current generation. Had to use Spotify, though because I was going to go nuts hearing Guns n' Roses and that atrocious voice LOL
Popular Post Ala-Arska
The Awakened Fate Ultimatum Fully Awakened Obtain all other trophies Take me on your mighty wings, take me on your mighty wings tonight! Backlog reduced by one...only a "few" dozen left! Alrighty then, The Awakened Fate Ultimatum. It's a roguelike dungeon crawler, so let's get like, rogue First off, story is pretty interesting and even above average, I might say (and I will!). It's not all cute and cuddly, but with some dark themes. Basically you're a mortal made God, battling against evil (and good) and making story-changing decisions. Like in Telltale Games' titles. And much like in them, those decisions matter little, except the very final ones. Real cut scenes would've been nice, too (instead of cardboard ones) And since you have to pick all decisions, both Angel and Devil ones, two playthroughs are required to catch 'em all. Luckily items and such carry over. So, like said before, TAFU (sounds edible, right?) is a top down dungeon crawler with randomly generated levels. Plus if you die, you lose all stuff. I haven't dabbled in this genre a lot, but this is one of the easiest and forgiving roguelikes I've encountered. It still whooped my ass a few times, though With difficulty down to 'manageable' and later 'overpowered', the main time sink went to gathering every item in the game. And of course it wasn't simple. There's a heavy RNG element when opening chests and praying to get that one last ring. RNG gods hated me here The idea of changing between Angel and Devil forms added some small tactical aspect, and I found it refreshing. At least it kept things interesting a while. I also managed to nab the 14th Fastest Achiever position somehow. A nice surprise, since I was sluggish from time to time. Like a snail with thumbs! The Awakened Fate Ultimatum offers a good story (twice!) and ain't overly complicated. Small grind aside, it's a nice addition to veterans and newbs alike Edited April 6, 2018 by Ala-Arska

Popular Post NaRayquaza
I'm getting too many Platinums in these days... Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix No, I'm still watching credits, so technically I haven't earned it. Anyway, I've done the first run on Proud just to have a reason (no, an excuse) to replay it in Critical, but honestly it was way harder than I remembered. I've played this game so many times when I was kid that I "had enough" in the first run to replay it so soon, but at the same time I didn't want to wait too much to get Platinum (like I always do), so I ended up rushing things (8 hours speedrun) without farming or opening chest so I missed good stats or equip, but it's not safe to do it in Critical unless you are very experienced. It felt like a Lv 1 run, everything could oneshot me, and I mean EVERYTHING. The next time I will play the game will be on emulator with mods (undub version of course).

Popular Post Harvaturri
"The Dark Soul" from "Dark Souls 2: The Scholar of the First Sin" Time from the save game: 143 hours (took me 3 months and 2 weeks) Enjoyment: a lot Difficulty: not too difficult (Played only offline) I had actually completed the game before on Steam but bought this on PS4 from summer sale of 2017. I have completed all other versions from the Dark Souls series too and I really can't say which one is the best version. Maybe I know after I have tried the Dark Souls: Remastered later this year. This version is not as grindy with the trophies as the third (covenant items) but the first Dark Souls doesn't have any of that grinding so maybe that platinum is the most fun of the three. This being the fifth time so far for me playing a Dark Souls game I decided to try playing with a character using ultra greatswords. But in the end I noticed myself using mostly longswords like always before... Shortly after I finished this I started Witcher 3 and realized how soothing and simple it was to play a game like Dark Souls with no quest markers, maps, floating icons, babbling NPCs or anything like that common in most RPGs
Popular Post Nauticus87
#231 - Slyde #99pPlat #1minPlat #Trophywhoringforlife #unironichashtags #notevenontwitteristhishowyouusetags #232 - Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Okay so this was pretty great. Even though you know how it ends, I couldn't help getting sucked in and treating it like a self-contained story. My only complaint would be that the third chapter felt rushed. The second chapter had my heart in a vice, truly beautiful. #233 - Amnesia Collection Very apt platinum name: Insanity. Collecting 151 tiny boxes and dozens of notes over three games that are darker than a shadow's asshole is insane. Hated walking around in blur-o-vision trying to find things. I'm blind enough thanks. Surprised the Justine trophies are so rare though when that game can be beaten in 10-15 minutes. Still, 12th rarest platinum in the bag and another ultra rare.

Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#198 The Inner World This was a decent point & click adventure although I have to say that my experience was hampered somewhat by an extremely clunky control system. It takes a little while to get used to and even towards the end of the game, it doesn't feel particularly comfortable. Other than that though I enjoyed it and I will be making it's sequel The Last Wind Monk my next platinum in preparation for popping The Last of Us Remastered for my #200 milestone.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#259 - Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey A fun game that looks fairly good, but could use some fine-tuning. The story was alright, the characters were a bit of a mixed bag, the combat and crafting were pretty good though- My main gripe was the overly complex alchemy system and the lack of direction regarding some of the quests. The game basically begs you to have a bunch of guides out with info on event triggers and material locations, and that's not a good thing in my book. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#195 - Bully Valedictorian Unlock every trophy. I originally played Bully (or Canis Canem Edit as I knew it) back in 2008 on the Wii and it felt good revisiting it. I always found the game kind of weird since it's basically GTA for kids/young teens, but enjoyable nevertheless. After playing GTA3 recently, it's plainly obvious how easy this game is. I was (mostly) a good boy in school, so it feels good to play as someone who "bullies the bullies". One of my favourite parts about the game is actually the music and I'm sure anyone who's played the game can relate to that. I don't usually mention things like frame rate, but it's noticeably bad in this game. I don't know if it's a problem with the emulation or if it was like this back on PS2, but when entering areas like the Carnival, it becomes almost unplayable. It actually hurt my eyes just looking at the screen. I just found this weird considering how GTA3 and Vice City ran flawlessly and those games are a lot more impressive in my opinion. Still, it's a rather minor complaint in the grand scheme of things. It may not be one of my favourite Rockstar games, but I still like it a lot.
