Popular Post Karl-Kai
The Caligula Effect Total Trophy Acquisition! This was a great game! Following the story, exploring locations and fighting in the dungeons offered plenty of fun. Many of the characters were nice, and learning more about them through diving deeper into their hearts was interesting. Reading the WIRE messages of the main cast expanded their personalities even further (and were really funny on occasion), so I think one should remember to check them out while progressing in the game. The huge amount of schoolgoers you can befriend and then absolve their traumas is incredible; I have put almost 138 hours into the game and I have not been able to finish them all. When that is combined with the optional areas and the World Reward places, there is lots to do in the game besides the story and the trophy list. However, because many of the trauma quests are more or less repeats of each other, I don't think I will complete them hundred percent. While playing, I didn't have frame rate problems, but twice the game crashed; once while loading a new location and once when I skipped a cutscene while grinding the last boss fights over and over again for the LV100 trophy. Luckily, my save files never got harmed in any way. I don't know why the reviews of this game have been so mediocre, because I think this is an excellent piece of work, and I would recommend it to RPG fans. On a side note, the anime of Caligula is starting to air; I think I have to check it out; that's how much I liked the game.

Popular Post BlueC3029
Platinum #26: Far Cry 5 Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Time to Platinum: 25 Hours I want to start off by saying this is my first ever Far Cry game, as well as noting I am normally not the biggest fan of Ubisoft games. But I truely had a lot of fun with Far Cry 5. It felt like there were more different things to do than other Ubisoft games and the world wasn't that empty. I really had a blast with it and would recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately even though the single player was fantastic, it only has a mediocre multiplayer, but other than that, it was a great game.
Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
Platinum #36 - Hotline Miami (PS Vita) A fantastic gem for the PlayStation Consoles. I played it previously on an old account on PS4, which was amazing but this time round, decided to play it through on the Vita and I was not dissapointed. The experience is just as great on a Vita and with the ability to carry this gem around on the go is amazing to me. I won't spoil Hotline Miami for anyone yet to play it but just be aware that you're definitely gonna die... a lot.

Popular Post Bumperklever
#64 Ratchet & Clank (PS4) The Hero of Heroes Date Achieved: 8 April 2018Rarity: Uncommon (26-27%)Enjoyment: 7/10 It was a fun game, but is definitely lacking the quirkiness and charm in comparison with the older ratchet & clank games. First of all, who thought 30 FPS with blur in a ratchet and clank game was a good idea, I really hated that and made the game less enjoyable for me. The game also give us things like robotized characters, which just makes the game lack the charm and quirkiness of older entries. Atleast the graphics of this game looks great and the gameplay is solid. Solid, but nothing more.
Popular Post locutus442
Platinum #35: Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness STAR OCEAN 5 Warden of the Stars 全てのトロフィーを獲得した Obtain all trophies. I have always been a big Star Ocean fan (I have all of the ones released in the U.S.) and this was a quite enjoyable game. Biggest issue I had with the game was the camera. In some places it moved around a bit too much for my liking (as in, if I was susceptible to motion sickness I would be barfing). On to my next game (probably either I Am Setsuna or Star Ocean Till the End of Time).

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #139: Unravel (March 23rd, 2018) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement: 8/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 7 - 8 Hours Copied from status update... I decided to give this game a second chance after I left it a month ago due to frustration. Thankfully I did, because Unravel in all honesty is enjoyable to play. You play as Yarnie, a unique character made entirely of yarn. You start off in a house, which serves as the Hub. You enter levels by viewing select pictures found in a few rooms. You can't progress to another picture until you have beaten a level at least once. Controls are basic, but are very necessary to beat the levels, especially without dying. R2 serves as a lasso, as Yarnie throws a part of himself in the form of a lasso to reach grapple points. Square ties a knot, which is used for swinging from a knot or to make a trampoline to reach higher vantage points. L2 lets you climb your way up as long as you made a knot on a grapple point, and you can swing from one grapple point to another safely without risking death. You can swing with R2 like with L2, but you risk dying or after to go back to where you were since R2 is mainly used as a lasso. Unravel is very straightforward, but some puzzles require a little bit of thinking. This game is a puzzler and platformer, it's not entirely platforming and it's not entirely just puzzles. A Youtube walkthrough makes things easier obviously, but there is still risk involved as hazards like water and electricity can guarantee a swift death. There are five collectibles in all but one level. There are 12 levels in the entire game, so in total there are 55 collectibles. Most are fairly easy to spot and obtain as Yarnie only has to go off the beaten path a few times. A couple collectibles were a bit tough to get, one notably being the collectible at the beginning of level 7 as you have to use both the L2 and R2 buttons to grapple your way to it without dying to acid. For the most part they aren't hard to obtain, and thankfully the generous checkpoints that are placed where Yarnie has to get more yarn on himself saves the collectibles. It took me a good while to get adjusted to this game. The first time around I mostly found it to be a bit boring because I felt the developers were more focused on the graphics than the actual gameplay. Graphically speaking, Unravel is beautiful. The graphics are crisp and clear, as leaves, snow and rain are shown in very good detail. Snow was particularly well done in this game as it looks just like what you would see in person. There were nice little details I found very amusing. Yarnie, while he's entirely mute, shows a bit of expression on his face as you progress through the game. When rain is present Yarnie shows a sad expression as he trudges through the wet muck until he is under shelter. The second to last level where Yarnie has to pull a lantern up a hill, you can clearly see a character who is struggling to survive in the blizzard storm as he is blown away by the wind and howling. Such details show that Coldwood, the developers of Unravel, truly cared and respected the character they created. The game from start to finish is graphically beautiful to look at and is a nice delightful journey to experience. It's just too bad that EA is part of it. Unravel isn't a difficult game, but has some annoying parts to it that can frustrate some people. The no death runs will likely require two or more attempts as you have to memorize all the hazards and platforming sections to be successful. I found the mid levels to be the most difficult, as the game tapers off a bit towards the end. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys platformers, and even if you don't like platformers it's still worth playing. Yarnie should of been one of the most beloved characters to come out of an indie video game. Edited April 8, 2018 by Spaz
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#101 Modern Warfare Remastered Had one heck of a good time playing this. Really well done and that credit song at the end was hilarious . Veteran difficulty was certainly frustrating at times but manageable except for the One Shot One Kill mission. That mission gave me loads and loads and loads of trouble. It was just absurd the amount of enemies spawning and shooting at you! I dont know what the devs were smoking . I f you dont believe me, here's what death looks like Overall really enjoyed this game but I still think that MW2 was the best entry! Perhaps I would have had a different opinion had I played this first though Edited April 8, 2018 by PooPooBlast

Popular Post Zach
#72 God of War Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Time: 11hrs First playthrough: 7hrs, challenges 1hr (fuck challenge 10), and speed playthrough 3hrs. Total amount of gameplay time: 11hrs Are you prepared to become a god? Can't beat the classic God of War, am I right? It's no wonder that this kicked off the series with a bang. Great story and amazing battles! I mean, you start the game by fighting the Hydra! All the trophies are easy (including the speed run) except the challenges. The challenges are the hardest in the series! Also, to make matters worse, you must complete all 10 challenges in one sitting. And challenge 10 is the hardest. Chronological mission: Ascension: Finished Chains of Olympus: Finished God of War 1: Finished Ghost of Sparta: Next (Also my favorite in the series. The new God of War coming out may change that though. ) Edited April 12, 2018 by Zach

blu3st4rdust305
Ginger: Beyond the Crystal - PS4 (#95) One can tell the developers spent a great deal of time with the Banjo-Kazooie and the earlier 3-D Super Mario games. Many of the atmospheres hardened back directly to those games. The second hub recalled the haunted masion level of BK and the third hub was very similar to the beach resort level in Super Mario Sunshine. Unfortunately, what could have been a nostalgic throwback or neat homage turned out derivative and uninspired. Maybe tighter controls or more attuned camera could have made the game at least stand on its own, but adding the lack of personality and depth simply left me feeling as if I were playing a cheap re-skin of a decade (or two) old game. To it's merit, the game is not broken or glitchy, outside of the one "Consumer" trophy. Nor is it maddeningly difficult or frustrating. It's a simple 3-D platformer with short levels and straightforward objectives, with a painless platinum.

Popular Post TNekke
Bloodborne Plat #192 Really enjoyed playing this masterpiece. In the beginning i was reaching a point of giving up this game, because damn this game has no compassion with you until you defeat Father Gascoigne. The moment i could defeat him, i enjoyed it more and kept playing because i had made progress and i knew i could defeat this game. Have to admit it, i have ask some help from other hunters with my little bell, but sometimes they weren't much of a help Next one on the list isn't as difficult as Bloodborne, going to sit back in my chair and finish marvel's telltale guardian's of the galaxy And 100% Lords of the fallen.
