Popular Post Stardroid
Omnipotent - Outlast 2 There was something extremely satisfying about clearing Outlast 1 in permadeath mode. So when I looked up the trophy list for this game, I was very pleased there was another permadeath mode completion trophy, game lasted twice as long and no battery swap allowed. I had two good runs fall apart. One due to a glitch, which put me back at the starting menu, and one due to the game not registering an edge in time, making me slide off and falling to death. Yesterday two hours after my last run where I died, I could still feel myself shaking. My arms felt heavy due to the pure adrenaline rushing through me. Even though I was incredibly upset that my runs ended through no fault of my own, as soon as I knew I had 4 battery bars left with one chase and a Marta scene, I knew I was in for the clear and did it feel good. Hoping Outlast 3 brings a simular challenge, albeit without the glitches. Here is my run: Edited April 9, 2018 by Starlove-

Popular Post Caldor2K2
#106 - Railway Empire This was actually a pretty fun game for the most part. The game itself was pretty straight forward, but it does have a steep learning curve and may take quite some time to figure out all the tricks of the trade. The setting of the game is within the US in various regions and decades (1830-1910 with 20 year intervals), and your goal is to use steam locomotives and the railroads to change the country. My only beef with the game comes from the updates. Now for the good. The latest (1.02) made the UI a little easier to read, allowing you to see exactly what the maximum number of goods a factory can produce and when your warehouse hits the maximum of a specific type of commodity. And for the bad, it was mostly re-balancing (or nerf as I should call it) of both passengers in your cities and what kind of bonus % certain technological innovations provided. The technology bonus was annoying as it knocks your profits off delivered goods from 10% to say 7 or 8%. The passenger reduction was far more annoying. You used to be able to have an 8 car passenger and/or mail train leaving the station, now you'll be lucky to have a 4 car train, even out of the largest of cities. These types of trains weren't usually too profitable to begin with and now its really bad. While its not exactly a simulation game, and not exactly a building game, I'd have to say give it a shot if you're a fan of like SimCity or any other kind of tycoon or business type games.
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#199 The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk I finished the first game the other day and did the sequel today. Actually preferred it to the original. The controls are just as clunky as they were in the first game but they felt a lot more bearable this time. I enjoyed the story a little bit more in this one as well. Trophy wise it's more or less identical to the first game with a trophy for clearing the game without using any hints. The main difference this time is that there are no silver trophies. A very decent point and click adventure that has it's moments. I enjoyed it

Popular Post DamagingRob
Platinum #300- Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness Warden of the Stars Obtain all trophies Non-stacking difficulties and some time-consuming completionist trophies make this a fairly long one (I guess it took me 140-150 hours, but I can't say for certain). But it was every bit the underrated gem I had hoped it'd be. Always been a big fan of Star Ocean, so I'd been waiting to play this one since I bought it... back in 2016? Lol. In hopes I could make it a milestone. If you'd like more in depth reviews, I played this during the last KYC event. Will contain some story spoilers, as I like to give a summary of the first day's events, so people can decide if that part of the game interests them. Here are the links: Day 1, Final Review, Post game dungeon. All in all, I really enjoyed playing through it. A second time was okay, but 3 times? That was a bit much. :/ Really would have been nice if the difficulty trophies stacked.. And then a couple of the battle trophies felt really unnecessary. Having my PS4 idle for 25-30 hours for the 2 most grindy ones is nuts. Could have really done without them. Popular Post RedRodriguez87
Dead Echo And so, I manage to platinum a version of one my absolute favorite shooters. It's been said that this is the best Duke Nukem game that wasn't Duke Nukem, and thanks to the DLC that swaps the main protag for Duke, we can definitely see that. The odd alien planet that strikes a balance between colorful and bloody, the violent over-the-top goofball enemies, the cleverly vulgar names for the point-earning skillshots, the overall bleak narrative injected with toilet humor all screams Duke Nukem. Thing is, the story wasn't designed for a protag like Duke, and it shows in the DLC. Someone on youtube described it like this: After a night of drinking and getting blacked out drunk, Duke wakes up in another game, replacing Gray, at first, Duke doesn't really care, thinking he can just blow right through it, just like his past adventures, but when things get worse and worse, Duke realizes that things have changed, he can't just treat everything with disregard anymore, for the first time in his life, Duke has to learn to take things seriously. I think it could actually work in this direction for a multitude of reasons; the thing is, the game across this way not because of intent, but because of laziness, and it shows in the results. See, the thing is, even though he's fully skinned and fully voiced, he's still operating from the same script as Grayson Hunt, so much so that the other characters keep referring to him as Gray. While sometimes that leads to some clever fourth wall jokes (like Duke getting annoyed at not being called by his name), they only really come full force at the beginning and end. All the rest of the time he follows the same lines and the same emotional beats, leading to alot of missed opportunities. Regardless, it is a fun piece of DLC though one I'd recommend you try and find unused in a game box instead of paying for it. I find it sad how back then and even now this game gets overlooked. Maybe it's the fact that the game doesn't reward you for playing vanilla-ey, maybe its because its sole online mode ONLY rewards teamwork instead of death-matches and who can score the most kills, but whatever the reason, this dame just doesn't hold the same appeal the way dark dirty army shovelware crap does among the fps community. At least, the one's who actually buy their own games.

XLordXNightmareX
De Blob 2 (PS3) My review for this game was pretty fun but sometimes difficult because not only you have to find all the collectibles in certain areas but you also have to complete the game on normal difficulty without any upgrades whatsoever. Luckily, cheat codes were available to extend the time, life, and armor as well to make that playthrough easier. It was also kinda time consuming as well because of getting the S ranks, collectibles and story stuff out of the way.

Popular Post XIRCHRAD-
#11 ~ Far Cry 5 (PS4) We Always Had Faith In You ~ Very Rare 9.51% I have no doubt the rarity will fly up soon. After struggling to decide what to make my 500th trophy, I decided to rack up some trophies on Saints Row 3 to make the number so that I could make the platinum my 500th trophy milestone. I came into this thinking it's just going to be another open world shooter where not much is going on but boy oh boy was I completely wrong. It's the opposite, you can't even run down the street without something happen which makes it fun constantly through out. It took me a while to platinum the game as I literally wanted to run everywhere, I barely drove or use the air vehicles. I just wanted to run around and take in the scenery and it was stunning. Loved every minute of the game. One of the key elements of this game is the personality of the characters, some characters could literally have their own games and it would be one of the funniest games on the planet, Hurk, Sarkey, Tweek.. I could do missions for them constantly as they are funny. Especially the first mission you do with Hurk, he's actually hilarious in that mission getting his dads truck back. Then you have the brutal characters like Jacob, John and the father.. they are just next level. I won't say much more than that. All characters are unique and you can learn quite a bit about them and their pasts so you can see where they are coming from. One thing in my opinion that did not need adding was Arcade, it felt like them old school PC games everyone used to (or still does) play. It wasn't too bad to get the trophies but that's only the real appeal to it. I'm sure if there were not trophy ties, it wouldn't be played that much. The idea is cool but not really needed. Other than that the game is fantastic. Oh and that ending, just wow. Edited April 10, 2018 by XIRCHRAD-
Popular Post TaiTchi-_-OwNz
Platinum #41 - Far Cry 5 Enjoyment 9/10 - Overall I have to say I adored this game, it was brilliant, and in my opinion is the best far cry game as of yet. The only reason i'm knocking off 1 point is that I wanted to see more of the father as he was a great, he made me almost want to join the cult lol. I loved how the map was split up into 3 regions, made the game much more interesting. I highly recommend this game to anyone, even if you've never played a Far cry game before. Difficulty 1/10 - Typically like any other Far cry game this is easy to complete, as long as you utilise all four weapon slots with a variety of weapons you'll find this game a breeze to complete. Time Taken - Roughly 25 hours 9.51% Very Rare - Won't stay like this for long though! Edited April 10, 2018 by TaiTchi-_-OwNz
Popular Post DamagingRob
Platinum #301- Titan Souls Ascension Collect all Trophies This was another game I played during KYC, and pretty much have already posted my full thoughts on there. All I did to pop it, was beat the final boss on Hard (after numerous attempts :/). Links to those reviews, if you're interested: Day 1, Final Review. Platinum #302- Rime The end is a new beginning Obtain all trophies. Rime was a pretty decent game, that is similar in nature to something like Ico. Play through till the end, if you can. The ending is really something. Platinum 303- Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness Trophy Complete You have obtained all trophies This was really disappointing, and I'm glad I got it through Plus. Easily the worst visual novel I've played. Maybe if I'd seen the anime, it would have been better. But I was hoping this would get me to watch the series. Now, I'll likely scratch that idea. The story was really uninteresting to me, and I fell asleep a couple of times trying to read it. After finishing one route, and a couple of endings, I couldn't be arsed any longer. And that fricking tile minigame... That was just awful and pointless to grind out. Even my Vita hated it! The game crashed at one point, and I was forced to enter Safe Mode, as it wasn't working right afterwards. Platinum 304- NBA Live 18 Beyond LIVE Unlock All Trophies for NBA LIVE 18 New rarest Plat! This game was pretty fun. And not all that difficult to Plat. Considering the rarity, you'd think it'd be almost impossible. But it's really not. You can screw yourself, though, as not all player types are capable of completing the challenges. I mean, they may be, but it would be extremely difficult. Leading a game in blocks and rebounds with a small point guard? Yeah... Recommend doing what the guide on here says, and picking a Wing Defender. But you have League and Street modes. The League is your standard NBA season mode, where you'll make your created player a superstar. Get ready to play it a lot, as you'll need ~100 completed games to reach Level 50. Fun for awhile, but gets old. The Street mode is where it truly shines. It's not quite as arcadey as NBA Street, but it does have more of an arcade feel. No refs and fouls, so there's non-stop action. And you can play with other people in daily challenges to unlock rewards, which can be fun. Unless you continuously lose... then not so much. Lol. The AI players in these are extremely good. Completing Street mode will be your only real challenge for the Plat. Everything else is simply a leisurely grind. Besides the challenges I already mentioned, the AI can be quite hard to even beat in some games. Some took quite a few tries to finally win. But if I can do it, I think the vast majority can. I'm nowhere near as good as some of these online players, at least. There's also Ultimate Team mode. This was pretty neat, but is unfortunately marred by technical issues.. You earn points for playing games with your team, and are able to buy and sell player cards. The cards you equip are who you play with. And there are not just current players, but past NBA greats as well. But after every single game, you're forced to wait 3-4 minutes for it to connect to the servers. It's really annoying, and none of the other modes are like this. Really brings down the experience, and I was glad when I didn't have to touch it again. Some other notable bugs. The Clutch trophy seems very finicky. I tried and tried one night, and it just wouldn't pop. With a lead, with a tie, didn't matter. Then the next night, it popped on my first attempt, and the bar wasn't even green.. I also had players turn invisible a few times. Which was funny as hell, seeing a ball bounce on its own. But made it so I couldn't see where defenders were, and run into them. :/ But overall, I was quite pleased with this purchase. Picked it up during a sale for less than $5, and it's easily worth that. Popular Post Lucas
#56 Far Cry 5 April 10th 2018 I was pretty excited for Far Cry 5 as a fan of the series so I was very happy when I finally got to play the game two weeks ago. The campaign in Far Cry 5 was very intruiging and the story kept me interesting. While the endings weren't all that great, they were certainly satisfying enough and fit the tone of the game really well. The music is great and catchy and the open-world and its environment are beautiful. Unfortunately, it's not all amazing and graceful (see what I did there ?). The A.I. can be very annoying and often does not do what you want. The 'guns for hire' that are supposed to help you sometimes simply won´t revive you, even if there are no more enemies left and they are less than 2 meters away from you. Other A.I. can be just as ´worthless´. For example, when you have to follow a NPC in a story or side mission, they sometimes keep standing still without walking to the objective just because you didn't exactly follow their path yet. More of these annoyances with the A.I. and other kinds of bugs and glitches, can make some moments in Far Cry 5 very frustrating. However, by far the most disappointing part of Far Cry 5 is the arcade mode. The level editor has very clunky controls, the solo arcade maps have extremely long loading times, even after downloading them and the multiplayer weapons are extremely unbalanced. Running around with an assault rifle will not get you any kills unless you have a very steady aim and only go for headshot but instead, using a shotgun and aiming for the head will aways get you multiple kills. If that's not your cup of tea, you can always spawn-trap enemies with your entire team to make sure the enemy doesn't get a chance to kill you. Overall, very enjoyable singleplayer that's unfortunately plagued with bugs and annoying A.I. If you can ignore those complaints, however, you're going to have a very enjoyable experience with the singleplayer. Just don't try out the arcade mode/multiplayer more than you have to, it's not worth it. Hopefully the new God of War tops this game for me!). I just really liked the story for some reason. The battles aren't especially epic. I just thought they did a really good job with the story on this one. The "challenge of the gods" were definitely a lot easier in this one. However, I could use the break after the challenges in God of War 1. 4 God of War games down, 2 to go.
