Popular Post Carol
#127 Midnight Deluxe Platinum Midnight Unlock all the trophies. A 90 minutes platinum, but a fun, interesting and charming little game, just like Fragments. #128 Ratchet and Clank The Hero of Heroes Collect every trophy in Ratchet & Clank This is a very good game. It's very fun and entertaining and the type of game that I like to have as part of the PS Plus subscription. It's probably more aimed at children, but I didn't mind it, since it reminded me of more classic games that I played when I was younger, so it brought me some nostalgia. The platinum is easy and the trophies are fun to get. "Faster than a Speeding Amoeboid" is the only trophy that is a bit tough and annoying. This is my first "Ratchet and Clank" platinum and, since I found the game so enjoyable, maybe I'll play some more games from this famous series, in the future.

I loved this game back in the day, but Garden Ops mode is the most annoying thing known to man. I picked this game back up because I knew I was a few trophies off the plat. Got the remaining multiplayer trophies no problem, but just that damn crazy mode in garden ops killed me.. and thank god I did it though because I'm burnt out af. I would like to tremendously thank @MIKEY-L-666 for his advice for Crazy mode. If it honestly wasn't for his wise words of wisdom I would have had such a hard time getting this. Thank you so much again. now time to work on the second one, yay.. Edited April 19, 2018 by DuckSwimmer
Popular Post GTA_Darren
Don't post in this thread for more than a year. Tonight I accidentally got 2 platinum trophies (originally plan to get one only) Therefore, decide to post again. #159 - Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds - PS Vita Working on this one for few weeks. I try to read the story, and I want to say as a VN, I don't really like its story that much. Kind boring and somewhat hard to understand. #160 - Rime - PS4 Bought this game while ago, and play a little bit, but I don't like it. Therefore, I stop playing. Couple days ago I decided to go back clean my backlog, this is one game I want to finish it. Play first play through without guide. Then, following the guide to get all the missable and collecting trophies. I want to say overall I don't find the game is that great. However, the ending does surprise me a little bit. Glad I am done with this game now.
Popular Post BlueC3029
Platinum #27: God of War III Remastered Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Time to Platinum: 12 Hours First off, let me be completely honest, I did struggle here and there with this game. Something that might take somebody 5 tries took me 15 tries. There was also one challenge in particular that took me quite some few tries. That being said, I absolutely loved the game and couldn't believe I didn't play it sooner. (And just in time for the new one to release).
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #140: Assassins Creed Syndicate (March 31st, 2018) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 30+ Hours (40+ with DLC) It took me nearly two and a half years to finish Assassins Creed Syndicate. In October 2015 I bought the Gold Edition of this game which included the Season Pass. I forked over $80 for this game and looking back, was only barely worth it. In this edition of the Assassins Creed saga, you play as Jacob and Evie Frye. Assassins by heart, they work together to ensure a future for London, as Templars have taken over the entire city. The goal is simple. Take over the city borough by borough, and cut down the Templar forces. Sound familiar? Well it is, because it sounds very much like what I experienced from Mafia III. Syndicate marked the first mainline Assassins Creed game in over five years that was entirely single player. Liberation HD and Rogue both came before, but as far as mainstream goes Syndicate is the first notable game without multiplayer. Unfortunately I can't help but feel that Syndicate was, for the most part, very repetitive. Not quite as repetitive as Mafia III, but still mind numbingly boring at times. Both games have you taking over the city gradually, until the leader, Crawford Starrick in this case, is left mostly by himself. You do main missions, you complete their optional tasks, you run around London for hours doing the various sidequests. Thankfully the trophies don't require you to do a whole lot as far as side content goes. Still, it was nothing special. I left this game several times because Syndicate never struck to me as being really good. The early sequences in the game show a bit of comic relief in Evie and Jacob Frye. The two twins play off each other much like a rival brother and sister. Evie is smart, patient and looks to research and find a Piece of Eden. In stealth situations she is the best. Jacob Frye on the other hand is the brawler, has better combat skills and is reckless. He is the twin who founded The Rooks, a gang in support of the Assassins whereas the Blighters, the gang who controls all of London at the start, are obviously backed by the Templars. Some of the main missions were silly but amusing. Syndicate never seemed to take itself all too seriously, but I was still unconvinced that this would be a really good game. Compared to the disaster that was Assassins Creed Unity, Syndicate did improve a lot in the gameplay. Whistling is back, and fighting enemies becomes much less of a chore, among other things Ubisoft worked on between titles. As with most Assassins Creed games, Syndicate was not difficult for me to finish, with maybe only one or two optional objectives giving me a little trouble. The lack of challenge was definitely noticeable, and by the end of this game I just wanted it to be over. Syndicate did a lot of things right, but none of it was really all that special. It's what Unity should of been, and unfortunately Syndicate didn't do all too well in sales. For me personally it was just a boring game. If you played II, Brotherhood and the other mainline Assassins Creed games you should know what to expect from Syndicate. The controls work well, the setting and historical timeline are appropriate, and the scenery at times is nice to look at. It was a joy being able to grapple Batman style up to Big Ben, and to see Buckingham Palace and other such famous landmarks in London. The World War I simulation was a nice change of pace, though it's really just an Assassin fighting off guys with guns, which felt out of place in 1910s London. Maybe one day Ubisoft will make an actual game set in World War I. I ran into several technical problems with Syndicate. I had my game crash at weird times during the main game. They were rare, but they were definitely annoying when I encountered them. The DLC (Jack the Ripper), while being somewhat interesting and being centered on an infamous legend, was completely awful. My game crashed to the XMB several times, and I ran into a bug which forced me to delete and reinstall the entire game. Even after I reinstalled I still ran into frame rate issues and my game cutting out to the XMB. Ubisoft definitely didn't optimize the DLC well at all. This game isn't bad by any means. I would go to say it's good, but it just isn't really outstanding. A lot of people enjoyed this game because it played and ran a lot better than Unity did. But after two years I just think Syndicate was rather dull. It became a bit of a chore as I checked off what I needed to do left for the trophies. Many of the gang members (both Rooks and Blighters) all look the exact same, I know there can't be an infinite amount of NPCs that look wildly different but cmon, they're literally the same faces and people over and over. It was nice to look at Ubisoft's 1800s era London, but I will definitely not be coming back to this game anytime soon. Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
#129 (PS4) Platinum Trophy Unlock all trophies Phew. For the second time i platinum this great game! But seriously Mundus is HARD! First phase lasts a long time ( at least for me ) not to mention the second part, if you have not stocked up on Yellow Orbs, which i did! Had like 16 of them and in the end was left with 4. First i tried to damage him at least till 50-60% of health, and then try to use my Untouchables/Devil Stars + Holy Water helped a lot in this, cause of those stupid smaller balls, i took most of the damage from them. Kinda glad that i did not suffer as much as on ps3 version trying to do Mundus without any Items, and somehow managed to win ;D Surprisingly i beat the last Nightmare on the first try, but had to use one Untouchable while in the last phase and just spam Inferno. N. Angelo fights were tough, especially the 3rd encounter, had to retry that like 20+ times, overall DMD playthrough went on smoothly without any problems.

Popular Post Jiano_Vera
Platinum #76 Finally finished the Dead Space series! This one wasn’t nearly as good as Dead Space 2. However, I still enjoyed the game. The gameplay was polished from its predecessor and customizing weapons was a fun pastime within the game. From a narrative standpoint this game is LAME. The love triangle between Isaac, Ellie, and Norton is nauseating and down right shit you would see in middle school. Also, the writing is horribly bad and all the side characters are forgettable and expendable. “Oh you’re useless to the story now? Your turn to the die” Co-op was alright but it takes away a lot of Dead Space’s identity. It became an action game with jump scares and not really a horror game. The platinum wasn’t too difficult as I used the exploits; after playing Standard and Classic I just wanted to get the plat and breezed through Pure Survival and Hardcore with ?. It’s good for a play through but you’ll get burnt out beating it 3 more times if you’re going for the plat. Popular Post XIRCHRAD-
#14 ~ Saint's Row: Gat Out of Hell (PS4) Scorched Savior ~ Rare 11.65% I've had my fill of Saint's Row these past couple of weeks, I can finally say it's been a hell of a ride. (pun intended) I can finally put the series to bed for now I guess, unless you know I fancy a PS3 stack as well of both this one and 4. See what the future holds. Yeah, the boss has been kidnapped from the spaceship and dragged into hell to marry Satans daughter. Let's just say it doesn't go down well with a couple of characters. Nothing special plot wise, I mean the games are funny. They're meant to be. Nothing different about gameplay though, still keep some powers similar to 4, new guns which were actually cool and angel wings, which by the way work really really well and it was a great welcome addition compared to glide from 4. Collectibles are insane again as there is nearly 1000 of them. Do a few loyalty quests though and you get a map so it's not bad, still takes a while to get them though. Challenges are easy but exaggerated. Some are unnecessary like drive a vehicle for so long. I mean c'mon, dude, I have wings why would I drive. I wonder where the future of the series will go now, wherever it goes I have no doubt will be a laugh and a good game. Popular Post PooPooBlast
#103 Saint's Row Gat Outta Hell Loved this game that I bought it again for PS4! It has a nice and comedic charm to it that is very rare in games. While grindy a bit, the weapons and powers were fun to use so it did not get overly boring. As a tip for those playing it in the future, save 1-2 survival locations and 1-2 altars to farm kills easily! I ended up idling for 6 hrs for the final trophy because of that . Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #141: Demon's Souls (April 12th, 2018) Difficulty: 5/10 Excitement: 9/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 25 - 30 Hours I feel ashamed it has taken me nearly three years to complete Demon's Souls. I feel even more ashamed that I did not get into this game much sooner. Coming from Bloodborne, Demon's Souls didn't take as much adjusting to. Whereas Bloodborne relies heavily on dodging and parrying with guns, Demon's Souls is slower paced, relying on shields. In past attempts I used tank builds but I quickly found that I downright suck at parrying and using counter attacks. This time around I decided to shave off a lot of armor because you are better able to dodge and move. Using heavy armor prevents your character from dodging properly, and I generally disposed any armor I found to Stockpile Thomas. Higher stats in Dexterity and Endurance meant I could wear light armor and still be able to dodge, but most armor in the game I didn't bother using. In Bloodborne I mostly played on my own, only looking up guides on where to find all weapons and how to beat some of the bosses. In Demon's Souls I relied almost entirely on a Youtube guide, because of World/Character Tendency. Figuring out how the system works isn't as bad as it seems but making one mistake can literally ruin your entire playthrough. For instance, hitting Stockpile Thomas, Blacksmith Ed or any of the other vital NPCs could very well mean you screwed yourself out of a playthrough. Killing a certain NPC before you fulfilled all her quests is enough to force you to start an entirely new game. This game has New Game Plus, as all other Souls games do. However the enemies and bosses are much tougher and deal a lot more damage. The most difficult bosses for me were False King and Old King Doran, both in Bolertarian Palace. You can guarantee they are more difficult to take down in New Game Plus. For much of this game I played while in Soul Form. Soul Form is a form where you're not necessarily alive, but your soul is trapped in the Nexus. The Nexus serves as the hub in Demon's Souls, where Stockpile Thomas and other vital NPCs live. Later on there are NPCs you can meet and rescue in the five worlds, after which they will be sent in the Nexus after their death in that world. Killing a boss in any given world will return your character back to human form, in other words being alive. Dying means you will return to Soul Form, which halves your total HP. Playing in Soul Form means enemies will have an easier time killing you, but dying in Soul Form does not affect World Tendency. Being killed while being alive does affect World Tendency. This becomes very important as certain weapons and NPCs will only show up while in Pure White/Pure Black World Tendency. Pure White is good and makes enemies weaker, but you get less souls from them. Pure Black is bad, a stronger form of enemy called a Black Phantom appears, who is much more difficult and deals more damage. As a plus you will get more souls from enemies. In order to go from Pure White to Pure Black you to die seven times while in human form. Going from Pure Black to Pure White is much more difficult, as you have to kill certain black phantoms and kill the bosses of that world. Therefore what I did was go to Pure White, then to Pure Black. Every time I returned to human form after killing a boss I went to the Nexus to commit suicide. Dying in human form in the Nexus does not affect World Tendency. While Soul Form sounds like it makes the game tougher, there are thankfully many items you can use that will help you. Character Tendency is more tied to killing NPCs. Bringing your Character Tendency to White involves killing Black Phantoms, and is vital to obtaining a certain ring. Bringing your Character Tendency to Black involves killing friendly NPCs, and is also vital to obtaining a certain ring. Like with World Tendency I went to Pure White, then to Pure Black. Being concerned about all the items and weapons I needed to get and what tendency I needed to be in for certain items kept me on my toes. One attack from your Halberd to a friendly NPC on accident is enough to screw you of an entire playthrough. To save time I used the Duping glitch, which involves getting more than one of an item by using Stockpile Thomas and inputting a certain sequence of buttons. I spent much of my 25 - 30 hours on Demon's Souls in the Nexus duping, since it is vital to earn the platinum in one playthrough. You can, of course, play legit, but the game is much more difficult and you will have to do a lot more farming. Three playthroughs are required to obtain all the items you need for the trophies. Even while using the duping glitch, Demon's Souls still presented itself a challenge, and I'm very grateful I finally got round to playing through it. Demon's Souls in conclusion is excellent. The atmosphere is top notch and the ambient sounds really put yourself in the mood. Any enemy in the game can kill you if you're not careful. Playing through Demon's Souls requires patience and dedication. Overall I must say that this game is a must play for anyone who played the other Souls games. Demon's Souls holds up very well for it's age and it is definitely a game that started an entire string of 'tough' action RPGs. Some games in the years since were inspired by Demon's Souls, such as Lords of the Fallen and Salt & Sanctuary (although that may of actually been Dark Souls). My only gripe with Demon's Souls is the World/Character Tendency system, having to Dupe items for hours, and farming Crystal Lizards to obtain some items. But this is a game that should not be overlooked. It's a shame the servers are down, as playing some co-op and fighting players posing as black phantoms would of been fun. Even without those Demon's Souls is still a blast to play. From Software made a huge splash with this game, and it becomes clear why the Souls games maintains a huge following. Popular Post VioletB0503
#27 - A Way Out All The Ways Out Collect all trophies Enjoyment: 10/10 Oh boy where to start with A Way Out. I do have one small complaint with the very beginning of the game. It felt a bit stretched out at first but with that said it did not take long before the game got better and better with every second. I really had such a phenomenal journey with Vincent and Leo that I felt a part of their little group. The best part of the game must definitely be the slow motion scenes, the company did it just perfect! It felt as if they knew where and when to put action scenes. This is a must play game for anyone, it is highly recommended to play the game to the very end. Just truly AMAZING! Next Up: God Of War

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
Trophy Triumphant WHEW! I'm never doing that again! There's not much to say about this game that hasn't been said from reviews and fans; it looks great, easy to pick up and play, plenty of depth, tons of fan service. There's a lot to love in this game. That being said, buy this game for the love, be it for fighting games or DBZ. Don't do it for the trophies, or make sure your love is going to pull you through, because you got one helluva grind set out for you. I do like this game, but I'll be happy to never touch it for anything trophy related for a good while. My trophy screencap was lame, so here's this. Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #24 - Tekken 7 Difficulty Rating 2/10 Enjoyment Rating 7/10 Uncommon - 33.38% Most of the time, tournament fighter platinums are a royal pain. The seventh installment in the mainline Tekken series is a major exception. It's so easy, even for those who don't play fighters! Play story mode, treasure battle, a few specific online matches and pop the rest in practice mode. It's that simple! My treasure battle win streak is 76! I favor Yoshimitsu in most situations, must be all that Soul Calibur I played My trophy cabinet only consists of tournament fighter platinums so it feels good to add another one. Special thanks to @Sigma999 for helping me pop the online trophies ^^ I like this game a lot, it plays very well! In time, I'll go back and try to unlock the whole gallery. Hoping the DLC characters go on sale soon so I may complete the roster! Not much else to say, it's a super easy game. Go for it (:
