Popular Post ApriIis
#42 - Bloodbourne jj Finally got round to playing bloodbourne.Having only played demon souls I was nervous I would suck at the much faster paced fighting style but actually it was a lot easier than expected.Bosses couldn't be cheesed like in demon souls but they were okay for the majority ,my only frustration came in the dungeons. In my opinion the hardest chalice was actually the last one.Defiled wasn't so bad I think..The hardest boss for me was the Bloodletting beast be or Pthumerian Descendant.Overall great game and I am Looking forward to playing the dark soul's series. ( sorry for bold font,I can't turn it off)

Popular Post Brawler
#80: True Warrior Of The 3 Kingdoms (Dynasty Warriors 9) Despite all of the flak this game seems to be getting fro the fans I quite enjoyed myself with this one. The open world helps make the battlefield feel much larger. There isn't a ton to explore for, however, I quite enjoyed seeing the different areas while going for my 75% exploration trophy. The changes to the combat were alright, keeping enough of the old formula while adding something new. I had a bit of a hard time with the Bond with 20 officers trophy as I kept running in to a bug where the same officer would show up repeatedly, but other than that I quite enjoyed the 60+ hours I put in to the game. If you want to speed through the plat you certainly could with some optimization but it also gives you enough extra stuff in the scenes/interactions that you could get a ton out of the game by playing the other stories. Popular Post continuum67
#33: The Bunker Definitely not as much fun for me as Late Night was, but I still enjoyed parts of it. The main character really started to wear on me as the story went on, but thankfully the game was pretty short and his stupidity didn't put me off too much. I liked the premise of the game, but definitely thought they could have weaved a better story out of what was available. Got it on a sale for ~$5 and got a couple of hours of fun out of it so I can't complain. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10

Popular Post Nauticus87
#239 - Treasures Of Montezuma 4 (PS4) I finished the Vita version in April 2017, saw this was in my games list (didn't realise it was cross buy and 2 trophy lists) so played it again. As far as match-3 games go it's one of the better ones. #240 - Dumpster Bear Second person to platinum this on PSNP. First person did it on 7th April. Is everyone avoiding it based on the bad graphics or something? It's actually a good game. Surprisingly long too - took me 13 hours.

Popular Post fantrig99
#98 Warden of the Stars Obtain all trophies Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness is an action JRPG developed by Tri-ace and is the 5th installment in the Star Ocean series. The story follows our protagonist Fidel Camuze as he goes on a journey that eventually escalates to an epic scale. Graphically wise this game looks beautiful in my opinion with large open areas like the sunset beach, desert, snow area, green plains and some other areas available as the setting for exploration. Accompanying these exploration are nice scenery music and catchy battle theme. The battle system is very action packed and enemies are visible on the field which allows seamless transition to the battle screen. Characters can equip their style of weapons, armor, different accessories and the most enjoyable is being able to assign certain roles to further improve their different stats. Later in the game the addition of equipment customization of abilities in different slots using augmentation and item synthesis opens up more choices to improve character stats and abilities. There are also events called 'Private Actions' that involves conversations between characters and gives them more story. It reminds me of Tales of series skits and they are very interesting in my opinion. The platinum is quite long for this game. It involves completing the based story three times on different difficulties as the trophies are not stacked. Each character have their own endings that requires and involves adjusting their affinities to the main character. The post game have many optional bosses that provides challenges though the most tedious one is getting the right item to drop after battles as well as some items that requires synthesis. Constant reloads are very common in my opinion as they are quite RNG based. All of these ultimately leads to complete all entries of enemies and items. The other grinding part is completing the battle trophies and getting one million hits took the longest for me. My first Star Ocean game was Til the End of Time back in the PS2 days and it has been awhile. I highly enjoyed this new installment of Star Ocean and without a doubt one of my best RPG gaming experience. A big thank you to some players that provided tips on how to tackle the higher difficulties in the forums and the great trophy guide that assisted in getting through this game. Beautiful graphics, cool characters and story, addictive battle system and nice music (love the vocal theme) created this enjoyable RPG in my opinion. I'm looking forward to playing other Star Ocean games later on and continue the experience of the series. Recommended if you are into RPGs. Nice vocal theme: Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Time Taken: 150+ hours Edited April 25, 2018 by fantrig99

Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#200 The Last of Us Remastered **Milestone Platinum** So I've finally hit my 200th milestone and I wanted an extra special platinum to mark this occasion and I could think of no better game than the remaster of my favorite PS3 game of all time. It's actually not just my favorite PS3 game of all time, it's also in my Top 5 of all time on any console. Joel and Ellie's story covers a wide range of emotions. It's bleak, it's grim, it's heartbreaking, it's touching, it even pulls at your heartstrings. Everything that Naughty Dog touches turns to gold when it comes to stories like this and crafting games like these. I'd say that they're probably second to none at the moment. There are many memorable scenes but without giving anything away, there is a scene in the Bus Depot that brought actual tears to my eyes. A rarity for me in a video game. Spoiler In case you're wondering, it's the scene where Ellie and Joel meet a herd of Giraffes and they share a very touching moment where they take in the view. It's beautifully made and the music complements it perfectly. Also I thought the scene at the Firefly Lab where Joel carries an unconscious Ellie towards the exit was a clever throwback to the prologue chapter where he was carrying his stricken daughter Sarah when the outbreak first hit. That one is also very emotional. Playing through the story again was just as enjoyable as it was the first time around although I ran into glitches with two of the trophies this time. Master of Unlocking and I Want To Talk About It were stubborn ones and I had to do a third playthrough to get those trophies. A partial third playthrough is required to upgrade all of the weapons anyway so I didn't really mind. Oddly enough I didn't have any problems with the trophies when I played the PS3 version. I had a blast playing the Factions multiplayer as well. It's one of the few multiplayer components in a game that I actually feel like I'm any good at. Rather than being a "run & gun" type game, it's more of a stealthy and measured experience which levels things up a bit for less experienced players. There are of course some very good players playing it. My only criticism of it is the wonky matchmaking. Some maps such as Capitol and University popped up constantly whereas some of the more interesting maps such as The Dam and Bus Depot rarely appeared for me on the voting screen. Needless to say, I'm extremely hyped for the second part of Joel & Ellie's story and they are one of the best double acts I've ever seen in any type of medium, whether it's a video game, a TV show, or even a movie. The Last of Us in my opinion is a modern masterpiece of video games and Part II is something that excites me greatly. I have very high hopes that it will end up being PS4's defining game.
Popular Post TheFalseDeity
#40 - Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online 4 Goddesses Online Master Proof you finished playing 4 Goddesses Online. Thank you for playing this far! Eh. First Neptunia game and it was okay i guess. A bit button mashy but gameplay is alright and music was decent. I absolutely loathe Neptune's voice though and it seems From Software isnt the only one that has an issue with having a pause feature and i dont understand that but whatever. Easy plat and also only like 20-25 hours and even less if you rush it. No consequence for dying other than enemies in that dungeon respawning, items to revive you even if you die, and then nothing all that hard anyways. View mostly in your face events, beat the game, and do all quests and voila plat. Nothing complicated. MidnightDragon
#22 Puyo Puyo Tetris I enjoyed this game for the most part. Like most people, I was good at Tetris, but sucked at Puyo Puyo. You'll probably get most of the Tetris trophies without even trying, but the Puyo Puyo trophies were an annoying grind. Adventure Mode started out easy enough, but it slowly got tougher. However, it wasn't quite as tough as I was expecting it to be. I was at 88.5% completion once I had finished adventure mode. Since I suck at Puyo Puyo (though I did improve somewhat as I played), I was thankful that the bonus levels counted for 100%. I can't tell you about the story since I skipped it. Besides, don't play a puzzle game for a good story. There are three online trophies, but they can easily be boosted in about 10-15 minutes. It was still a very enjoyable game, even though pretty much what it says on the cover is what you get. Edited April 26, 2018 by Spyro

Popular Post Major_Kiba
#163: Ratchet and Clank A fun game and a good remake of the original. None of the trophies were that challenging but doing those races took a couple of attempts. #164: The Deadly Tower of Monsters A quick and easy platinum. The game was mildly fun and as someone who enjoys watching old sci-fi movies I really enjoyed the aesthetic of this game. Popular Post Dav9834
-Planned #30 Plat Milestone!- Final Fantasy IX Heroes of Gaia This was so great to play again, I love that I can play the golden age of FF(VI - IX) with trophies! I have no idea how many times I've played IX, more than the fingers and toes that I have that's for sure! Though less than VII or VIII, but it's a classic that I always loved. There's also a short back story about this game and my imprinted live in house ducky. When he was just a wee duckling, he was born weeks after the others so he couldn't be put in with them as they attacked him. So I seperated him from the others, he got a diaper harness, and he imprinted on me(he thinks he's human). I'd hang out with him everyday and he would rest on my chest, in my arm, or peck at the phone screen with his tiny beak, as I played FFIX on an emulator every day for hours. So I decided that he should be there for replaying it(and platinuming) after 7 years! And together after almost a month from starting we did everything possible in the game. It really brought back memories for me, and hopefully him a little too. So thank you Square-Enix, you gave me even more memories that I'll never forget. Now get to work on a FFVIII platinum!
