Popular Post SmilexBomb
Minit LEGEND UNLOCK ALL OTHER TROPHIES Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 3 hours Needed something short and sweet to play in between some of the longer games that I'm playing through at the moment and this scratched the itch pretty good. It kind of felt similar to the other games like Half Minute Hero but very simplified. If it's on sale I'd definitely recommend to pick it up for a few bucks.

Frosty
Believe in Steven! #22. Steven Universe: Save the Light Difficulty: 4/10 Fun Factor: 7.5/10 This game is a really fun experience for fans of the show, the only things weighing this game Down is the fact it is not very optimized, there are glitches everywhere it seems, kinda takes you out of it, and the game doesn’t have too much of a story, but other than that, it’s a really fun, and engaging game.
Popular Post madbuk
#250 - God of War Disappointing. Mainly in regards to the story, but I won't go into that to avoid spoilers, even though the story isn't very good anyway. The gameplay was extremely repetitive, and the "wide linear" style of it, similar to Tomb Raider, just wasn't very fun. In Tomb Raider, exploring is fairly meaningless, but it's fun, thanks to the (heavily flawed) traversal mechanics and puzzle design. This game doesn't have that. The grounded nature of it, thanks to there being no jump, and the incredibly slow and tedious climbing sections that have no challenge whatsoever, and the copy/paste puzzles throughout the whole game just make it extremely tedious to get from a to b and gather collectibles. I wasn't enjoying the combat until late-game, when they introduce a new mechanic that makes it a lot better. Even then, I still missed the old God of War style. Not really a fan of the weighty Dark Souls style combat that this game decided to go with, it just feels clunky and awkward. There were some great customization options though, and you could tailor your playstyle however you wanted. I favoured strength and cooldown, but there's no right or wrong build, it all comes down to personal preference, and I liked that at least. However, in regards to gear, it did get very tedious having to stop every time you get a new rune to sit and watch a 5 second video to see what a rune actually does. Then you have to go back to other runes and watch their 5 second videos, then watch the 5 second video of the other rune to compare, and switch back and forth until you decide which one is better. The videos could've definitely been shorter, those seconds may not seem like a big deal, but they quickly add up. I liked that Atreus added to the gameplay on top of being your companion for the journey, instead of him just being a useless companion like Ellie (Sure, she throws you ammo very rarely, but that's hardly a game-changer.) While there are definitely parts of this game to like, in no way does it deserve a 10/10 in my eyes, and if given the choice, I would choose to go back to the old style GoW games in a heartbeat. Maybe making the sequel to this more linear would help, everything outside the story was just meaningless bloat anyway.
Popular Post Meachamp-
#1 Time to platinum: 16-20 hours | Difficulty: 3/10 | Enjoyment: 10/10 My first ever platinum to get and I think it's started with a good one. I've never attempted a platinum before and can now finally see why a lot of gamers actually enjoy going out of their way for them. It's fun, you see games in a whole new light rather than just to complete the story and then move on. You actually get your moneys worth. Now mentioning in my introductions page that I have access to a massive library of games. I literally had no idea where I wanted to start as it was all a little overwhelming so I thought I'd play the first few games in alphabetical order of what is available and this popped up. Spoiler Overview Skeptical at first I played the DLC which is just a port of the original game from the PC that was released back in 2000 or so I believe so I thought, I'd play that and get it out of the way for story purposes so I knew what I was heading into and I have to say. The DLC is nothing spectacular but the game itself is rather really well done. It's a whole new take on Alice and Wonderland premise. It's pretty weird anyway but take what you know, flip it on it's head a million times and fill it psychological trauma and you get the first game. A basic overview would be Alice is in a mental asylum trying to cope with a certain event that happened in her life and she in the first game is in a way trying to get to grips with her emotions and how she deals with them. The sequel which is this game explores that even further. Now out of the Asylum she's trying to deal with herself by finding out the answers. Blaming herself for what happened and asking others what they thought happened and everyone trying to diagnose her. It's quite well done actually. You start in London and it transitions into Wonderland really well every time at the start of each chapter. The game is plagued with collectibles but they are not there for the sake of being there. You find out about things doctors say to her. What her parents and sister used to say to her etc so they give some good background to the game. The deeper you get into the game the more Alice remembers and tries to make sense of things and can deal with her past. I'm very satisfied with the ending and what happens. I think there's room for a sequel but I heard American Mcgee is pushing for a prequel where Alice is in the asylum. Character & Level Design Level and enemy design were very satisfying, they were all different for every chapter in both aspects. Enemies were different each chapter and the design of the levels were quite complex looking but in a linear game so it wasn't too bad going forward. There is a great variety of enemies where you can kill basic enemies with certain weapons but the deeper you get the harder some enemies become and you have to find different ways of beating them so it's fun. It's not just attack attack attack and deal with everyone like that. Character designs were different than you'd imagine if you've seen the original Disney movie or film adaptations. Alice is a dark character, obviously tormented by her past and that's personalty. Her looks make her dark as well, the long black hair, the eyeliner/shadow (I'm clueless on that stuff) Madhatter/Red Queen and everyone else are different looking and have different personalities much much darker than the originals. They fit in very well which would be obvious because Alices version of Wonderland is very different and her mental state effects everyone and everything in there. Trophies There isn't anything to challenging when it comes to the trophies I suppose. If you were to play through the Nightmare difficulty properly than I guess it would be more of a challenge for you but there is a glitch where you can basically finish the end of each chapter on Nightmare and it will unlock the trophies so it's actually really good that it could happen if you only want to play through it once. I used it because it felt like it took a while to get through the game due to the collectibles. I know I wouldn't of had to do it again but the chapters are quite long in all honesty. The rest are acquiring the weapons, upgrading them, chapter specific trophies, collectibles and a few miscs here and there. That's the reason for a 3/10 difficulty. I'm sure without the nightmare glitch the difficulty would of been a little bit higher. Conclussion Very good game that's worth exploring if you're feeling like something dark. It's not happy, it's not light hearted it's heavy and psychotic right from the get go and there may be some themes that could be sensitive to some people. I personally loved it and feel like it may be a very underrated game. I still think there are a few more stories that could be told within the universe and hopefully a sequel where Alice finally gets her self back on track. That would be the most ideal ending but you never know. Overall give it a go if you've been thinking about it or backlog etc. It should be really cheap as well now it's been that long. Popular Post Ala-Arska
Remember Me Remember you soon Unlock all trophies Nice view, ahem, I mean..."Trophy earned: I swear! I did it by mistake!" This has been sitting on my backlog a long-ass time, only roughly ~70 titles to go I've been feeling very nostalgic lately. I started reading Most Recent Platinum-thread from the scratch, currently at page 575... That's where I remembered (no pun intended) Remember Me from. In 2013 this was a free PS+ title, and quite a few aced it back then. And now it was my turn. No way was I gonna half-ass this one. The journey to the bottom of Neo-Paris awaited. Asstastic Right of the bat I can tell that those mixed reviews I had read were true...and false, depending who reads them. My first impressions were "Great story! Awesome music! Flowing combat! Cool platforming! Nice ass...ets!" Those impressions didn't last long. Story about memories and remixing them was quite good, but with clichès and unsurprising twists. And with mechanics used later in dev's Life is Strange. I also think Olga looks and acts disturbingly the same as Victoria from Life Is Strange: (Okay, not disturbingly same, but you'll have to see 'em on the move to believe it. What? I'm not crazy ?) Music was friggin' awesome, I'll give 'em that. That and the whole mood combined gave me a huge The Fifth Element-vibe. Leeloo Multipass! Combat and platforming had crumbs dropped from juggernauts like Batman and Uncharted games. Tiny crumbs, which I picked up and devoured. I shouldn't write about Lilin's ass, but it's hard not to. It's right there in front of you 100% of the time. A shameful distraction, which I won't tolerate! Asses Aside (what a great name for a band/skin flick!), Remember Me has nothing grand, but nothing awful either. It's a 7,5/10 game overall Edited April 26, 2018 by Ala-Arska

Popular Post Yrva
Platinum #36 - God of War Even while putting a fair amount of my own trophies and enjoyment aside while writing the Trophy Guide for this game, I had an absolute blast with this game on every single front. It's been awhile since a game has been so immersive through gameplay and visuals, as well as had such well told characters and narrative. On a technical level, I think this is one of, if not the most impressive video games out there currently. There were countless moments in my several dozen hours of play time where I was simply in awe at something the game had did, even if it were just minor conversation details, not to mention the stunning scale and cinematic visuals at every opportunity. Admittedly, with such amazing reviews the game got before I had a chance to play it, I went in with absurdly high expectations, but it still managed to blow them out of the water. In my opinion, this is a must play for Playstation fans and one of the greatest games of this generation. Popular Post Lilseb93
#122 - God of WarDifficulty: 3/10 Most of the trophies are just collecting everything and story quests. There are trophies for crafting two sets of armor, doing trials, full upgrading the weapons and collecting items in a maze. It's definitely time consuming, but not difficult at all.Enjoyment: 10/10 This game is a true masterpiece in every sense of the word. You just have to play it yourself. NaRayquaza
The Sims 4. I swear the next time I'll start this game will be on PC with every expansion cracked and nude mod. This is what you can call a bad port. Emulate the mouse with the controller's stick is something awful, plus the game lags and randomly interrupts actions, causing Sims to auto-reset or being put into T-stance, or worse, sometimes the time keep going while your Sims are stuck in the same action even though the bar says that the action is ended. You can fix that by pausing the game with Options for a few second, but it is still an annoying way to fix things. Other than that, the game itself is something... different from The Sims 3. There are things I liked and things where I said "Meh, I've seen better". Anyway the Trophy list is kind of lazy and can become exhausting, when I had to max the last three careers it really felt like it would never end, and the Trophy about triplets, JESUS HELP ME, even though only after almost 40 kids I tried the method on the guide here and it became less... frustrating. Popular Post Redgrave
#127: C: R Master - Code: Realize Another one for the Visual Novel games. I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did, especially since I'm not really into romance stuff. But ze emotions certainly caught up to me at a few parts, and the fantastic art style certainly helped with that. Seriously, if there's one thing that stands out for this game it's the art style and how pretty much everything shown could be a wallpaper. The other thing that stood out to me was the way the writer wrote out certain story bits. I don't know how to explain it but I felt like they did good expressing the main characters feelings towards other characters and events well. Perhaps it's because it's an Otome, so it was my first experience with that. Otherwise yes I certainly enjoyed this one, and I was glad there wasn't a mini-game it makes you grind out for a certain trophy.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#87 - God of War (2018) \ "Father and Son" Obtain all other trophies I could go on forever about how much I loved this game, but I'll summarise it in this statement: this game is an absolute masterpiece. If you own a PS4, you owe it to yourself to play what is - in my eyes at least - one of the best games of this generation. Combat, music, world design, enemies, character development, lore... everything comes together to create a cohesive whole that pays homage to the Kratos of old while bringing something very new to his character. Without any spoilers, the ending (as well as - hot tip - a secret cutscene back at your house after completing the story) leaves the story open for some more incredible world-building. If anything, some of the finicky menus (such as an inability to see which skills you have from all your armour and enchantments) are annoying... but I haven't been this addicted to a single-player game in a long time. There was something special about this game that drew me in like few games can (TLoU and Bioshock being recent examples). There was also no overt sexual content that seems to permeate any games these days, which I personally appreciated. It's not that I hate the inclusion of these things in games, it's just refreshing to have a game that is about a Father and His son... with a little bit of violence thrown in there Having played all of the God of War games (GoW III, Chains of Olympus, and II being my favourites, for reference), I can confidently say that this game lives up to the legacy of the series, while also evolving it beautifully. Trophy-wise, there's nothing missable. It's actually quite easy if you play on an easier difficulty. That said, if you want a tough but fair (and incredibly fun) experience, I recommend playing on 'Give me a Challenge' difficulty; beyond the final Valkyrie fight, I rarely died more than a few times on the 'tougher' encounters. I did have an issue w/ the 'Death Happened here trophy' initially (unable to turn the lever), but this glitch has been fixed (for me at least) with Patch 1.16. Go get that platinum, fellow-Veithurgard-bug people! Enjoyment rating: 10/10 And I don't give these out all the time, haha Plat difficulty: 2.5/10 4/10 if you play on hard Edited April 27, 2018 by FluffyAssassin64 Formatting
Popular Post Inuty
#87 Undertale (PS Vita) Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 1 Time: 13 hours I loved the idea of the game and that you can solve the whole game without killing anything. It was a Little bit short but I had fun with this different experience of game so if you are not scared of Pixel you should give it a try #88 Secret of Mana (PS Vita) Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3 Time: 25 hours Best game for my Holiday in Japan and the Long flight. I loved Secret of Mana on the SNES System so there was no way around the Remake. I had some game crashes on my vita but I can´t Count them on 2 Hands so it was okay for me. The Remake itself is in my opinion fine even if you don´t like the grafic style or the Synchronisation of characters. New things to the old SNES game are for example a Little Chat between the Heros everytime you stay in a Inn to rest after you get to specific Points in the Story and you are not stuck in if a character is stuck between things and reaches the end of the Screen. All in all I really like the game #89 God of War (PS4) Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 4 Time: 35 hours So God of War a game that a lot of People waited Long for. I bought it in a Supermarket here in Germany for a lower Price because of a sale on Video games. This was the only reason why I bought it this early. Grafics are fantastic and the developers did a really good Job about the Background plot about the nordic myths. You learn a lot about the myths and you receive a lot of short conversation about different characters which is just brilliant. The new gameplay is a lot slower then the previous games but you will get used to it. Difficulty is for me a 4 because I get my ass kicked by the valkyries especially the last one even after putting down the difficulty on easy. One of the best expierience so far on PS4 and I can´t wait how all of this will come to an end

Popular Post markcavan
#215 - Until Dawn on PS4 (#39 of 2018) Tremendous game. I really liked the story, enjoyed the collectibles element and having to play through a few times to get the 'save all' or 'kill all' based trophies. I feel telltale could learn from this format as players normally only play one path to the end and fail to experience all the endings. One down point is for the QTE's which can be tedious at some points and the story in parts has its holes but overall this is a very entertaining experience and one I will certainly look back on having fully enjoyed. Popular Post Vanilla
#158: Croixleur sigma (vita) #10,025 - 7.66% struggled with this one the past few days. there's no trophy guide but luckily all the trophies are pretty straight forward. the dialogue is generic anime garbage, the gameplay is fast paced and took a bit to gitgud at. the hard part is you need to beat "local" scores in every mode which are just in games times and scores you have to beat. the only ones that really gave me trouble were extra mode and dungeon and i ended up getting 7th for one of the characters and 11th for dungeon mode in worldwide scores. it's a decent game and i'm surprised it's not a rarer plat. might even do a guide for it since there is none

I play a lot of point-and-click adventures and this has to be the worst one yet. The characters are dull, the story is dull. The puzzles, especially the Hexipal/Hexigal ones, were stupid. Let's not even mention how retarded the 'Let's Get this Good Time Over With' speedrun is. It's so tight, I literally had only a minute or two to spare. Stressful, to say the least. I really liked playing through the game. It was a lot of stuff after that I could have done without.. Mostly those damn cards and their horrible RNG. And another dungeon with no map appears. Star Ocean 5 wasn't enough, I guess. Really gets annoying having to look down at my tablet, back at the TV, down at the tablet, back at the TV, down at the tablet, back at the TV... But there was a lot I did like, so it even outs to a pretty positive experience. The story was entertaining, and I liked a lot of the new characters (especially Uzume and Steamax). Gameplay was solid, and the new battle mechanics were fun. And I love, love, loved a lot of the music. Definitely worth playing.
