Popular Post Undead Wolf
#200 - Dark Souls: Remastered The Dark Soul All trophies obtained. Congratulations! And with that, my 200th platinum is in the bag. Dark Souls is one of my all-time favourite games - I've replayed it more times than I can remember. I had a blast coming back to it, this time on PS4. The remaster was getting quite a negative reception before launch, but in my opinion, it was blown out of proportion. There might be some texture changes which don't look as good, but it's incredibly hard to tell without comparing them side by side. For the most part, it looks prettier thanks to the increased resolution, but by far the biggest improvement was the switch to 60fps. The game runs like a dream now, even during areas like Blighttown known for its frame rate drops. They also made it much easier to play with friends due thanks to the password system, which you could argue takes away some of the game's charm, but I think it's an improvement. It's just a shame that people will use it to cheat more easily by dropping items and what not. This game is an absolute classic. If you've never played it before, I can't recommend it enough! Just remember to Praise the Sun! ☀️

Popular Post Cake
Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut Platinum Trophy Zach, it's over, all finished. It's time for you to leave town. Are you ready to go? Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 (Mainly the story) I heard this was one of those games that is so bad that it's good. I agree, gameplay wise the game is awful (but in a funny way). Terrible combat, no hit detection what so ever. Clunky controls, glitches, you name it, this had it. On the other hand though, I really like the story. It was a point I would just rush through combat sections just to get back to the cut scenes.
Popular Post Zach
#84 Late Shift Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 2hrs 44minutes (90th faster achiever. ) This game actually surprised me. I caught this on sale last week for about $6.50. The original price is about 12,49, which I think is still a really good deal. I didn't expect this, but the story was surprisingly good. The choices actually mattered unlike a lot of choice-heavy games. I'm looking at you Telltale! Anyways, the full price is worth it. 12.49 is not bad at all for an easy platinum since the story is actually pretty decent.

I could have gotten the plat sooner too, but I was helping a friend get through the game. As for the leaderboard, it's looks like I'm the 113th person to get the platinum. I'm currently 124th on the fastest achiever list, although I expect this to change pretty quick. Popular Post OobiGod
Platinum #3 Teslagrad Full Completion Find all 36 scrolls in the game This game is kind of trash. I mainly bought it due to its incredibly cheap price of 3 dollars on psn. The game feels very poorly optimized and probably runs better on the ps4. The difficulty is really weird. The bosses are way too hard and don't feel right for this type of gameplay. Yet the puzzles were usually pretty easy to find out. Hell I didn't even beat the final boss when i realized how hard of a time I was having with it. I deleted the game from my console itself after playing it to save space so like yeah lol. Overall next plat for me will either be finally finishing the 3 madagascar kartz trophies or perhaps GoW (2005 lol). Don't buy Teslagrad for 15 dollars. For 5 dollars less you can buy the Jak and Daxter Collection (PS3 Digital version) a much more worthwhile purchase.
Popular Post SquidBaronet
Platinum #27: World of Final Fantasy Now I can finally trade it in to GameStop! Don't get wrong, it was fun playing the game while it lasted, but those four mini-games were complete BS. The worst was the one where you had to have Tidus kick blitzballs into robots, I kept missing the shots and ran out of balls, took me two days to get Blitzball Ace. Since there is nothing left after beating the final post-game boss and getting every trophy, this game needs to go to another person. The grinding was not too bad and the story was really deep and you really cared about Reynn and Lann and what happened to them to cause them to be trapped in this ghost city of Nine Wood Hills. I had to watch the cutscenes for the post-script final battle because I had skipped them the first time I played this game. And yes, I have the platinum on two accounts. Maybe Square-Enix will be inspired to make a sequel with a Lillikin Payne, Noctis, Ignis, Prompto, and Gladious. But for now I am done. It was a fun ride but it's time to move on to Ni no Kuni and King Evan Pettywhisker. 4 hours ago, OobiGod said: Don't buy Teslagrad Too late for that, buddy. I plan on platinuming it for the Camp Wannalottaplat event in June. But I find the inverse true - the bosses were not too bad after a few deaths, but the scrolls and means to reach them were frustratingly hard. You have to be precise in your jumps and using the magnetic powers you gain to get all 36 scrolls. Thankfully that's all you need to do for the platinum.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#91 - Old Man's Journey "Life, loss, reconciliation, and hope" Collect all trophies. This game was adorable . I bought this game on a whim, based on a random glance at the 'new trophy lists' section on this website. It was only $10 AUD, and it just came out today (well, technically midnight last night, my time). It's not very long (about 2hrs), relatively simple in terms of puzzles (clicking and dragging the geometry) and is pretty simple... but this game is truly gorgeous. The art style as a whole is beautiful, and the 'memory' scenes in particular are spectacular. The music also works with the beautiful scenes and backdrops to create a sense of wonder and evoke the emotions that the game is for; and it mostly succeeds. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game, but it's not perfect. Some wonky controls and the simple (yet still quite pretty) animations persist throughout. However, they never really detracted from my enjoyment of the game. The heartfelt story at the centre made this old man's journey (sorry, I had to) one worth experiencing. If you've got a spare $10 and want to enjoy a short yet emotional and calming game, absolutely pick this up. It's not the best Indie game I've ever played, but I really enjoyed the adventure Oh, and the platinum is super easy... heaps of golds, and you'll get most (if not all) simply by playing. I had to replay one short section because I didn't look at the trophy list first (didn't want to spoil anything), but I never had to really 'hunt' for them. Just explore / click on things as you play and you'll be fine! Enjoyment rating: 7.5/10 Plat difficulty: 1.5/10
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#276 - Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed Was fun for the most part. The grind at the end was boring, but not as bad as I thought it would be. So far it's my favourite HDN game, alhough that might have to do with the genre itself. Rebirth 1 and Goddess Black Heart just seemed really dull gameplay-wise, and that only after a few hours of play. Popular Post Donkrieg1011
Plat #100: Thumper Bought this game long ago but wanted to save it for #100. I'm so glad the trophy list is so simple and pretty much doesn't require a guide at all. No collectibles, no grindy bullshit, the list is pretty much just "git gud" lol. Fortunately that helped me focus on the game itself. To be honest the first half of Thumper is pretty much a slog because the game has to teach you the mechanics first before throwing the crazy stuff at you. However, the last couple of levels was an absolute joy to play and I think this is where the game shines the most, by throwing the most insane obstacles and bosses your way. It might be frustrating for some players but the feeling when you complete a level flawlessly is so satisfying. Such a shame that only 10% of people completed this game. It sometimes goes on sale and I recommend you buy and finish it because this is such a rare gem that doesn't get mentioned enough. 9/10.
Popular Post GoodbyeBread
#70-72: Ratchet and Clank Trilogy Like Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank was a series I never got to play during the PS2 era. I had played demos in Walmart, but never could buy the whole game. Once I bought the trilogy pack, I was excited to get right in. High point was the characters, the jokes and the weapons. Aside from Ratchet and Clanks hilarious banter, the games were filled with such personality, I wonder if the developers had fun with this. Weapons were always a treat. Flamethrower, Bouncer , Chicken gun, RYNO and Rift Ripper were my favorite to use. Low point was the farming for bolts. Looking at the cost of bolt to upgrade a better version was ridiculous. The trophies to get 1 million to 10 million felt like ages. Despite this, I liked the game. Like Sly cooper, I'm not sure whether to play the other games or find a brand new one. Either way, I'm hoping this series builds up to something greater.
Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum trophy #33 Late Shift Platinum Trophy Current rarity: 69.39% Personal Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This interactive movie/game is very much worth playing. Good story, good acting, & lots of possible endings/choices. A single session can be accomplished quickly, and because of the overall quality, the several sessions it takes to achieve the platinum trophy (without the assistance of a guide) isn't troublesome at all.

Popular Post MeteorHawk
#94- BIOSHOCK 2 (PS3) Platinum Trophy Enjoyment: 7/10 (Campaign)/ 1/10 (Multiplayer) / 9/10 (Minerva's Den DLC) Difficulty: 4/10 Rarity: 5.88% Very Rare (PSN Profiles) / 1.1% Ultra Rare (PSN) Time Taken: 7 years, 10 months, 6 days, 14 hours, 54 minutes Second plat of 2018 since and first since my triumphant return to gaming after my sabbatical to focus on work for a few months! Well, this took an embarrassingly long time, didn't it?! I bought BioShock 2 for very cheap very soon after acquiring my PS3 but just couldn't get into it. I was advised by my friends to wait until after I had played the first one, which I really enjoyed. However, I still wasn't all too pushed about this. Eventually, I decided I would go for the platinum and grinded out the multiplayer online (ugh) and was so demotivated that it took me over a year and a half to get around to completing the single player. But once I gave it a proper chance, I found I was enjoying the game quite a bit more than I did at first. It was quite novel to be playing as a Big Daddy and I liked being able to dual-wield plasmids and guns rather than having to manually swap like in the original. However, Lamb's constant bleating was tedious and I overall didn't enjoy the story as much as the first. Worth mentioning is the Minerva's Den DLC which was far more enjoyable in my opinion, one of the best DLC packs I've ever played. Hard Mode wasn't all that hard (not a touch on the original's Survivor difficulty) so playing through a second time was fine. Overall, BioShock 2 didn't hold a candle to the first one for me but I'm glad that I have finally cleared this from my backlog. Popular Post TugaSonic
#95 SEGA Mega Drive Classics (PS4) Retro God Unlocked all trophies. Although I enjoy the collection of games that it comes with I feel like the trophy hunting is kinda laking. Half of the games you don't even have to play just start them for the play 50 games trophy and the majority of the trophies can be obtained in the first few levels of the games. They added the whole challenge thing so I was kinda hoping they made a challenge for all the games but they just made 20 and only 6 of them are for games that don't already have a trophy. The difficulty of the challenges are also kinda out there, some are extremely annoying like the beat the twins in Streets of Rage 3 with only a single continue and a full health pickup available but the fight must end with having less than 10% health remaining (which is hard since 10% means one hit and you're dead and the twins like to jump around the stage and sometimes spam attacks so you might die while trying to lower the health when it comes to the finishing blow). And then there are the easier challenges like beat Act 2 of Green Hill of Sonic 1 in under a minute with the game mirrored. While mirror mode gives an additional challenge act 2 is still part of the first level so the difficulty of the level is still low. All I did was get the invincibility power-up hidden in the tree next to the spikes platforming then jump like a madman to the left and I reached the goal with time to spare. Either way, I still recommend the game if you want to play some MegaDrive/Genesis games since it does have a pretty good collection of games (even found a game I played as a kid and loved it even though I wasn't able to finish it but never found it again since I forgot the name and it belonged to an old friend who moved away). At the moment I'm the 9th to obtain the platinum which is nice.

I've played this game quite a few times and it's one of my favorites in this genre. If you're looking for a game thats great for stealth with many pathways of getting by your enemies unnoticed, or looking to savagely kill your way through the game with many weapons/superpowers, then this is the game for you.
