MakotoKaCun
Platinum # 57 Enslaved: Odyssey to the West Platinum Trophy So far only completed the main game with platinum. did't use much guide so i spend quick some time repalying the level to get 100% tech orb. It still have all those old game issue like control got some slight delay. But if you can let it pass, This game is worthy. Too bad my game can't access the DLC so i might need some time to find a solution for getting it. Anyway glad i finish it might as well get heavenly sword next time.
Janire1911
God of War (#24) Had to cheat a bit at the end, after 20+ attempts I came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to beat the Valkyrie Queen on normal so I gave up and lowered the difficulty to easy and beat her on the first attempt.

Don't believe everything that comes out in the reviews, it's a good game, I liked its gameplay very much, it's ugly, but it's very entertaining
Popular Post JaM
#240 Tears to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord Overlord Acquire all trophies. Once again, huge thanks to @Leon Hasegawa's guide (in .org). It helped me a lot. A hidden gem. I loved playing it from start til the end... of story (post game is definitely a different story). A solid SRPG with fun characters and pretty good story. The road to plat is a torture to me though. That Post-game dungeon was brutal to me. Overall, would definitely recommend to anyone that likes SRPG.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #148: God of War (June 19th, 2018) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement: 8/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 40 - 45 Hours I will admit that I am a big God of War fan. I played the original back in early 2005 and found myself really immersed in the game, being a nice change of pace from the Grand Theft Auto craze that was happening at the time. I've finished every God of War game with a platinum and even gone back and played some of the older ones on a harder difficulty. So when I heard of a new God of War being revealed at E3 2016 I was ecstatic. Here was Kratos shown in full 1080p/4K glory with his son Arteus. Apparently the crowd at E3 was ecstatic as well, and fast forward two years later I buy the game at full price just two days after release. So what can I say about this game? While the game looked fantastic upon playing it the first time, something in the early going didn't make me feel at ease with it. It felt far too different from past God of Wars. I ended up shelving this game for a few weeks until I finally decided to come back and finish what I had left. It felt too much like Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn with it's open world feel and atmosphere. But I finally ended up going back to finish this game. The entire goal of the game is to bury Mother's ashes, with Kratos and his son Arteus. There's a lot of emotions, arguments and apologies on the journey. Along the way they meet two dwarves who prove to be valuable allies in their quest. They serve as NPCs who can craft the best armor, improve Kratos weapons, and offer favors, which are side quests. There is some humor thrown here and there, but compared to Uncharted 4 it fails miserably. Kratos and Arteus clearly aren't Nathan Drake, Sully or Sam Drake. Thankfully a talking head that Kratos picks up a bit later serves as a companion for the rest of the game, and provides some comic relief in contrast to the seriousness of Kratos. After playing for about 40 to 45 hours, I can honestly say that God of War, to me, does not feel like a 10 out of 10 game. Maybe I should of played this game on a Playstation 4 Pro to get the most out of it, but it never strikes me as being one of the very best. The graphics, and the fact that there is absolutely no loading screens at all in the game, are it's strongest points. But unfortunately it just feels far too much like other Playstation exclusives, such as the games I mentioned. Santa Monica decided this time around to make God of War more open ended, with side quests and areas to explore on your own without being overly linear. The side quests were nice, as I went about helping the two dwarves and the fallen spirits with their favors. The hub world was well done, making for some fantastic looking scenery. The World Serpent is one of my favorite things about this game, he is absolutely colossal and titanic. I just wish that more could of been done with him. But a number of flaws I felt were apparently in this installment were a bit too hard to ignore. I was very disappointed in the lack of big enemies and just the variety in general. I would of liked to see more enemies like trolls, who can put up a fight. On the easiest difficulty however, they pose no challenge at all. Out of all the enemies I had to face, the main antagonist (the Stranger), the dragon boss, and the Valkyries were my favorites. Most of the enemies really didn't stand out to me at all, even when I spent a good two hours tackling the trials I was pretty disappointed that there was no real threat in regards to size and stature. Compared to God of War 3 and even God of War 2 I wasn't particularly happy getting the same five or six enemies over and over. Most of them just happen to have one or two variations that are different, while they are all the same otherwise. Quick time events were a stable in this series, but just like the variety of enemies, I felt they were lacking here too. I loved mashing the circle button on my controller to thrust Kratos Blades of Chaos into a minotaur's mouth, and just being able to latch onto enemies with the blade to throw them into a whole crowd. There is no crowd to speak of, you get no more than a few enemies at a time and when you are able to press R3 to gore an enemy it is usually a quick animation. Most of the time you are using Arteus to spam arrows to quickly kill or stun enemies like the floating eyes, who have several variations. But mostly you are going to be facing Drahgr, and it's usually the same three to five types of Drahgr who only have one or two different characteristics. And my god, the collectibles. Going after four different types of collectibles, on top of using portals with absolutely no way to skip the animations and the boring sequence that follows, was painful. Normally I don't gripe too badly on collectibles but in this game they were a complete chore to go after. Odin's Ravens took me over two hours of running from portal to portal to hunt them all down. The other three types, the buried treasure, the artifacts, and the shrines took another few hours to collect them. It was just a pain going from point A to point B. It is next to impossible trying to find all the ravens on your own, since a few of them are incredibly well hidden and camouflaged in with the scenery. Digging up the buried treasure was okay, but by that point I had already finished the trials and obtained the best gear out of Nilheim, so none of it was all that useful anyway. Kratos has two main weapons, and I did appreciate that both were useful not just in killing enemies but also in solving certain puzzles. Like past games in the series, God of War has it's share of puzzles, but they are rather easy to solve, because this game is targeting the general public. Freeing the dragons was alright, would of been nice if I could fight one of them or have one offer me some assistance. The Valkyries are the only thing that posed any sort of challenge. The Queen Valkyrie was a foe to behold, easily the toughest enemy in the entire game. Makes me ashamed to know how much of a pussy and a whiny bitch the main antagonist is in comparison. God of War is a solid game, worth the $59.99 I paid for it and worth the attention of any God of War fan. But in my opinion it just felt very lackluster at times. Parts of the story, such as the Light Elf conflict were interesting. The bond between Kratos and Arteus was well done. But I just cannot give this title a 10 out of 10 because I feel that gameplay came up a bit short. Santa Monica definitely went for that Dark Souls esque style, making Kratos feel heavier and not as mobile as he was in past games. He's an old man, sure, but cmon, you could of done a bit more to him. Graphics are the big selling point here. Like with Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War sports some of the most impressive visuals and background details of any console game I ever played. We have gone a long way to proving just how beautiful and magnificent graphics can be in a console game, not even mentioning how capable today's custom desktops are when it comes to showcasing awesome graphics. Seeing the World Serpent for the first time, just wow. I've already rambled on far enough. But God of War to me just doesn't deserve a perfect score. Perhaps we should treat this game as a new IP, as there's not exactly a lot here that ties in strongly with the older games. I think a lot of people rated this a 10 out of 10 because of how amazing the graphics are, but video games have to have more than just graphics for me to give them due justice. The game was fun, I felt the story was solid, but I can't really give it any more praise than that. Edited June 20, 2018 by Spaz

Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#93 - Crash Bandicoot: Warped (Remastered) "The N. Vincible Crash Bandicoot!" Collect all the Crash Bandicoot: Warped trophies. Well, I finally got around to playing the 3rd game in the Remastered trilogy I got ages ago I enjoyed this game for sure, but it's probably my least favourite of the bunch. There's an over-reliance on vehicles (none of which control particularly well, but you get better with practice) and the different themed levels - while initially cool - overstay their welcome pretty quickly. It's hard to put my finger on exactly what it is, but there's something that just felt a bit... empty about this one. The 1st game had you feel like you were on an adventure (with coloured tiles around the map) and the 2nd at least had a different 'feel' to each 'level' of the warp chamber. Overall, it's a resounding 'meh' for me. Trophy-wise, this is probably (actually, almost definitely) the easiest of the trilogy. You'll still be hunting down boxes, backtracking, and getting frustrated at time trials, but they all feel easier than in past games. No 'The High Road' here Times for time trials also felt more generous, with many able to be completed even with some missed boxes and a mistake or two (for the gold relic at least). If you bought the remastered trilogy, I still think this game is worth a play. Just don't expect it to blow you away. Popular Post RedRodriguez87
Dream Drop Distance Master I found it. I found my favorite KH game. I also found my favorite KH trophy list. I already said alot of what I wanted to in my All for One, and One for All post, is I'll try to sum up and add where I need to. Again, everything right and lazy about the KH is present in this game. Again, this game is a clear example of "MC watches a Disney movie play out", and whats worst is when they are connected to previous worlds. For example, the events of Prankster's Paradise. Riku's story had a good opportunity to really reflect back on the person he used to be, to really examine the hurt he caused, but most we get are a few throwaway lines. There could've been a moment where a Xehanort messes with his mind by having Gepetto or Pinocchio be afraid or wary of him, causing him to realize he's never gonna fully gain everyone's trust again, which would have had a bigger impact. The worst of them would have to be Sora's story during the Grid. We go from Tron world's being a key moment in moving the story along in KH2, to being just another instance of Sora having little influence. They took a plot point that could've had a huge impact (Tron's self being erased) but because it's no longer a part of a greater picture, they can't do anything with it. I'll say it right now, I would love for them to revisit the Grid/Space Paranoids and write their own sequel like they are with Big Hero 6 to wrap things up, but... I'm not holding my breath on this one. Thankfully, the only negative things to say revolve around gameplay, and are mostly nitpicks. First is how abilities work. Having abilities permanently mapped to certain Dream Eaters is a good way to experiment, but... it's also stupid in that you are pretty much restricted from decking yourself out AND having a party team of your choice. The other dumb thing is the Drop System. Yeah yeah, its easy to manage with a cheap item, but that's the thing; its so easy to manage that you wonder why it was even implemented. What purpose does it serve? For stat boosts, which one could've gotten from Dream Eaters? All it is is pointless piece of micromanaging that at best takes up a portion of your screen, and at worst completely interrupts game flow. I understand them wanting to not you to get so far ahead with one character that it breaks important story elements, but this is a problem the game already solved by preventing moving to another set of worlds until the first set is completed with both characters. Alright, now that we got that outta the way, time for the good stuff. The Dream Eaters? Well.... they're alright. Not great, but not bad either. I can't say they really helped me in many cases, outside of giving me more moves, but they also don't get in the way, and are interesting company to have around. The designs are of course cute and cuddly for most, though some are easily forgettable, and its easy to pick out favorites (if you don't mind sacrificing abilities). The music? Also great. It really feels like the team is really starting to diversify the tracks, especially the original content. We get alot more than just piano keys and violin strings this time around. And of course, there is Fantasia, and yes, this was a world where I would leave the game running paused just so I can hear the background music. But what really won me over, what makes this my favorite KH game, are the worlds and gameplay. I'll say it again, the size and scope of ALL the world is great, so much so that i can't believe that this actually came from a 3ds game. The Country of the Musketeers remains my favorite, but all the worlds were a lot of fun to explore. And a big reason they were fun to explore is the presence of the Flowmotion, which to me is the greatest gimmick a KH game has ever had. Never has it been so fun to rocket off walls, grind rails like a pro skater, spin around lampposts like a graceful ballerina, and to end every one of these moments with a wonderfully broken specialized attack. And it's not like the game is sluggish by itself. Whether its running from point A to B, combat, or just exploring, basic game-play is the quickest most fluid the series has ever been. This is a FAR CRY from Birth By Sleep, which every second after performing ANY type of move felt like an eternity to me, making me beg for control again while my character would sit/float/pose there like a sitting duck. One at last thing about the trophy list, is that the choice of NOT playing on the hardest difficulty setting for 100% went a LONG way in keeping this game entertaining to me, and kept me coming back for a little more every time. It may be hoping for a miracle, but I hope Kingdom Hearts 3 follows suit and give us this choice once again. Popular Post Eddy_C_Kan
It Can't Be For Nothing The Last Of Us Probably one of the best gaming experiences I've had in my life. Great story with a lot of character development. This was a game that left me thinking about it even days after I had finished it. AI can be stupid sometimes so that's the down side. Multiplayer trophies were a little grindy but the multiplayer is very unique and definitely an overlooked part of the game. On a personal note, I really loved how the trophy names were taken from actual dialogue from important and extremely emotional cutscenes in the game. I thought this was a very nice way of tying these trophies in with the actual game. Popular Post Guu-chan
Final Fantasy Type 0 HD Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 I'm an Agito now. Story was alright, gameplay is pretty bad due to the camera and the targeting system. Only enemies that pose a challenge are ones that can 2 shot you. Most missions devolve into follow the yellow markers on your map, only missions that deviate from this massively (that I did) was the last one, which ended up causing more frustration than anything. Platinum took about 20 hours of actual gametime since 95% of side content can be ignored, so it's a fairly quick plat if you're going for that. thefourfoldroot
#39 Darksiders Warmastered Edition Difficulty: 2.5 Enjoyment: 8 Extremely fun combat, mostly melee based, with a surprisingly decent story. Really enjoyed the game, and the platinum. Only a few missable trophies that you can save before to ensure you don't miss them, but all pretty easy and did them first time. A couple of grindy trophies, especially if you don't use environmental items in your playthrough, but nothing that would take more than a couple of hours (be sure not to destroy cars if you can avoid it, they can be used to kill enemies and will respawn as long as they aren't blown up). Overall, I'm happy to jump into the sequel straight away (was free from PS plus).

Couldve stood to pick up the other 2 types of weapons sooner as it was rather dull only having the reflector for the start but oh well. More importanly you play as a deity that quickly drowns, specifically a sun deity that can also be frozen by normal ice, and also is seemingly the only god it its universe that is incapable of talking...but i forgive it cause its a wolf o: All in all an easy plat. The forest race took me a couple retries but thats it. Popular Post Redgrave
#131: I'll Get Everything Back! - Tekken 7 I'm not really into fighting games but I had my eye on this Platinum for a while since as far as fighting games go it's one of the easier ones to get. I actually wound up enjoying the game more than I thought I would. I really liked the over the top moments in the story too with the Heihachi bits. But as far as the difficulty of the game I felt it was easier to learn the characters a bit better and I'm not sure why, but I wound up enjoying it as a result so that's something at least. I also liked it a lot because the music and stages give me that classic arcade-y nostalgia But yeah, if there's a fighting game to start with I would say go with this. It's also pretty fitting the Platinum image has Kazuya on it since I main'd him online and in the Treasure Battles.
