Popular Post Sergen
Starhawk: Platinum #112 Difficulty: 2/10 I actually did have no plans of doing this game any time soon, however the random server shutdown announcement got me into wanting to do this game. There is nothing special about this game to me, it's just a very simple sub-1% platinum that might become unobtainable on June 30th, 2018. There's still enough time to do it from this date, even if you take your time with the game. The competitive online grind took me 19 hours, Prospector took 10 hours and the campaign took 6 hours. I did have the benefit of doing the competitive grind with someone else who had 2 PS3s, as well as doing Prospector with that person and I did do the role in Prospector that had less work required. I did Prospector by mainly healing the Ox Tank on Ballard's Crossing, as well as sometimes competing against the Hawks and healing the rig to avoid failure. Although I have done significantly more lengthy games than this, I still found this to be more boring than most grinds I've done, I think the boring map and repetitiveness of the grind was what killed it for me. People overestimate the boredom factor of Prospector, but I never found that too boring, the competitive grind is definitely the most boring part by a mile. The campaign luckily has a glitch for the retail copy of this game which allows you to change your difficulty setting from Easy to Mercenary any time you want, so you can often just change the difficulty exactly when you're about to finish the mission and keep playing it and still get credit towards beating that level. I did beat the whole final boss fight on Mercenary without changing the difficulty, mainly because I didn't know exactly when the game was going to end, otherwise I'd have kept it on easy. The last boss is incredibly simple to beat, but it reminded me of Binary Domain with the fact that the boss took literally 20 minutes of simply shooting bullets at it and restocking on ammo, it's always annoying when a game puts that kind of fight into the game rather than coming up with a way that the boss could be beaten with skill. At least now I can free-up more than 13GB of space on my hard drive, as I am sure I will never play or have the need to play this game again.
Popular Post demonoutcast
#75 - Far Cry 3: Classic Edition Thought very long on what my 75th platinum would be and what better game to achieve it with one of Ubisoft's best open-world titles to date. I first played it back 2012 and immediately quit it after the first Radio-Tower. 6 years later, my cherish for open-world games have expanded. After boycotting this for so many years, It felt it was a perfect time to give it a second chance; All thanks to the Season pass; Totally worth it . Playing open-world games like this during the summer, really sets the tone and brings back that euphoric feeling I grew to enjoy. Experiencing this gave me the true definition on what open-world games are truly about Breathtaking setting, Bad-ass Antagonist (Seriously wish Vaas had more screen time), Flawless map size/design,Tons of variety and crafting, Excellent story, etc. Very few negatives but overall I had a fucking blast! Definitely a true classic open-world Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Edited June 21, 2018 by demonoutcast
Popular Post fantrig99
#99 Reach Transcendence Unlock all trophies Star Ocean Till the End of time is the 3rd game in the SO series developed by Tri-Ace. Back in the PS2 days, I picked up this game from my local game store and it soon became one of my favorite JRPG games. Years later, the game has been re-released as a remaster via digital download on the PSN store. I got this game at a recent Japan sale and eagerly looking forward to experience this journey once again. It follows the story of Fayt Leingod, a college student who has a great interest in playing video games and a compassionate individual. Amidst a nice and relaxing holiday resort with his parents and childhood friend, a sudden invasion by a mysterious force broke the peace of tranquility. The story of the young hero begins on an epic RPG journey to find out what's been happening and many revelations begins to unfold. Graphics are pretty good for its time being a remaster of the original PS2 game. The different geographical locations are unique separating between medieval and high technological setting. Gameplay is action oriented and three characters are available in battle each time. Enemies can be seen on the overworld map and approaching them initiates the battle. When it comes to customization, characters can equip their style of weapons, armor, two accessories slots, assign four battle skills, and two additional support skills. One of the unique features in this game is the presence of MP kills for both allies and enemies alike. Further into the game the availability of Item Creation (IC) opens up and allows characters to become inventors and create better equipment and items with money. The IC system is pretty interesting though the RNG based factor in trying to acquire the stronger equipment and their abilities requires high amounts of money and constant resets are very frequent getting quite tedious though the end result is worth it. The remaster contains a quite time consuming trophy list. It involves completing the main story three times on the higher difficulties, completing all the optional dungeons, one unique trophy that requires going to an postgame dungeon and acquire an item before completing the story, and collecting 80% of battle trophies (BTs). Some of the memorable gaming experience I had were some of the battle trophies involved. Nearly every boss battles have BTs that gives the player to defeat them under time limit or without damage. Others such as defeating different types of enemies, chain of 500 (I had the game crash twice when working towards this one), win by certain HP left, and attack or heal at certain HP like 7777. Optional areas are a long dungeon crawling experience with the longest being 211 sphere having 211 floors. The post game bosses are a highlight like Gabriel Celeste, Lenneth, Ethereal Queen and Freya. Each strong boss fights are exciting and overcoming them feels like an accomplishment. The most tedious trophy is the bunny race one which requires getting 1000 points in the complete RNG based minigame. I always bet on Perfecta 1 and 2 and hoping for two wins each time with points range from 3-9 points per race. As the credits roll, the journey reaches its conclusion and the beautiful vocal theme plays. I felt emotional to experience Fayt's journey once again as if time went back to the past with nostalgic feelings. This is a good JRPG and I recommend for its good story, unique characters, catchy battle themes with some heartwarming tracks, and the overall fun factor. A beautiful vocal theme in my opinion Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Time Taken: Around 200 hours Edited June 21, 2018 by fantrig99

Popular Post madbuk
#256 - The Amazing Spider-Man I was looking forward to playing an open-world Spider-Man game after Shattered Dimensions, and while there was nothing overly special about the open world here and none of the side activities were particularly great, it was still a nice change of pace from the linear level-based system in Shattered Dimensions. Swinging around and finding comic book pages was actually surprisingly enjoyable. The levels themselves are quite a step down from Shattered Dimensions, they all feel rather bland and the combat mechanics aren't as enjoyable, there are basically no combos whereas SD had loads, and the stealth doesn't really feel quite as well done as it was in the Noir stages in Shattered Dimensions. The story was better here than it was in Shattered Dimensions, but that's not really saying much because the one in SD wasn't very special to begin with. Despite thinking that this was nothing special, I am still looking forward to redoing it on PS3. The Vita version had some pretty ugly textures and pop-in and I wonder what it'll look like on a PS3. I'll be a bit disappointed if it's just as bad lol. Also had several crashes and occasional frame rate drops. I'll definitely be doing Edge of Time first though, excited to see what that'll be like, seems to have a lot in common with Shattered Dimensions, gameplay wise.

Popular Post MoneyBagMav
6-21-18 Platinum #74 (Trophy #4000) 7.5/10 This is my second FarCry if I count Primal. It was really cool at the start, although it started to feel kind of grindy toward the end. The only annoying trophy in my opinion was the Arcade Competitor. Could definitely be a blast going at it Co-Op although your friend wouldn't be getting the trophies from my understanding. Decided I'd make this my 4000th trophy milestone as I liked the description "We Always Had Faith In You" and its icon. Overall, it's a really good game with a lot of cool features and mechanics. Airdropping in, playing stealthy, than whipping out a grenade launcher is always a... blast? Not sure I'd buy the top tier edition of it again though.
In2umniaKillH3r
Platinum#186 - Syberia 3 Had to do 3 playthroughs of this awful game, since i missed 1 trophy on my 1st one, i blame the guide i was using. PSA: DON'T power up BARANOUR PARK as soon as you leave your ship. Did that on my 2nd playthrough and the game was crashing all the time on that level and it caused a corrupted save. At the end of the day, i'm still not sure what's the name of the main protagonist, is it Kate Walker!?

Popular Post Valinor90
#26 Watch Dogs 100% Clear This is the platinum trophy and is unlocked automatically when all the trophies have been unlocked. Finally done with the base game of Watch Dogs ? in the beginning I was enjoying it a lot (maybe due the fact that it was my first open-world game in a while)! The environment and Chicago were beautiful with a lot of details, the story interesting and most of the characters were ok. However, after a while I more and more realized how tedious the side missions and collectibles are...I mean its great to have stuff to do next to the main story but in this case its done in a wrong way. All of them followed the same pattern over and over again and the final ones were as anti-climatic as it can get. And don't get me started with the Traced Trophy...? Popular Post Z-Yux
Have a set of platinums: Platinum #41: Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy I haven't really played through a Jak and Daxter game before. This entry was pretty good I thought. As someone who, overall, likes 3D collectathons, this game was a nice surprise for me in general. As for the platinum, it's not really difficult at all and it's a pretty straight-forward game. Platinum Difficulty: 2/10 Time To Platinum: ~12 Hours Enjoyment: 7/10 Platinum #42: Jak II I certainly didn't expect to run into a huge difficulty spike from the first to the second game. In my opinion, this entry is the most difficult in terms of just simply finishing the game: Naughty Dog weren't very forgiving when it came to checkpoints during most of the missions throughout the game, which in turn making a mistake could cost multiple minutes of progression. It did get fairly frustrating from time-to-time, but it still was a pretty decent game in my opinion. Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 Time To Platinum: ~18 Hours Enjoyment: 6/10 Platinum #43: Jak 3 In my opinion, I think this entry was the best in the trilogy: It had a nice balanced difficulty along with great missions, setting, etc. Also, the gun combat in this game was very fun with all the extra gun modifications added in this entry. A great closure to the trilogy if I may say so myself. Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Time To Platinum: ~11 Hours Enjoyment: 8/10

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#204 - Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night ダンシング☆ムーンナイト 全てのトロフィーを取得した #205 - Persona 5: Dancing Star Night ダンシング☆スターナイト 全てのトロフィーを取得した These games were so much fun that I never wanted to stop playing! I'm a big fan of the Persona series, and I've listened to the OST for these games so much over the years. I really do think they have some of the best music in video games. I also happen to quite enjoy rhythm games, so these spin-off titles are a match made in heaven for me. Lots of great songs here, both new and old favourites, and it's always a joy to spend time with these characters again (especially Futaba ). I can't bring myself to pick a favourite between the two games - I love them both. I'm really glad I imported these, especially since it came with the soundtrack that I will no doubt be having on repeat for a while. Also, Vita physical >>>> everything else. The trophies aren't very difficult at all, and the language barrier wasn't much of a hindrance either. I'm currently 20th on the fastest achiever list for P5D for what that's worth. I'll probably pick these up again once they release in the west so I can see what was going on in those COMMU events.

Popular Post LimitedTimeGamer
22# - Uncharted:Drake's Fortune PS4 El Dorado Seeker Date Earned: 23rd June 2018 Platinum in 2 Years, 8 Months, 90% Completion Ahhh, Uncharted. This is a testament to my skills. I dont play shooters, and im mostly a JRPG type of guy. When someone reccomended it to me, i thought yeah, id give it a shot. And so i bought the game on ps3. I struggled with Hard mode then, and i couldnt even touch Crushing. Fast forward to the new 60FPS release, with added difficulty modes, and other bonuses, and i had to try again. So i got to chapter 4 on crushing, got ultra stuck, and didnt continue it for a long time. Then, someone showed me that i shouldnt be using the cover option with circle, and just shooting without cover, and then i found crushing a lot easier. Beating Crushing gives you a infinite ammo option and One Shot Kills. Il go back and finish off the two extra trophy's for 100 percent later.
