Popular Post FarSideOfSaturn
#27 Assassin's Creed II - Unlock all trophies Originally I was going wait until I'd finished the Ezio Trilogy and post all three games together, but I have so much to say about Brotherhood despite having barely started it, and with Revelations still to come...it's probably best I do this one by one, otherwise I'd need an entire page to myself. I'd already platinumed Assassin's Creed II on PS3, so I've finally broken my own rule about platinuming the same game twice (which paves the way for a second Skyrim platinum someday). Considering I came into this on the back of the Origins platinum and 100% it seemed like bad timing at first. It was pretty jarring with how slow AC II's gameplay is in comparison to Origins (understandably) but after a few hours of shaking it off I didn't notice it at all and remembered just how good a game this is all over again. I started thinking about the first game when I was playing this, specifically all the faults of the first game. I don't think I've ever seen a game like AC II that improves upon its predecessor so well in every possible way. From the narrative, a beautiful open world in various cities to the combat system, the soundtrack, voice acting, it's on a different planet to AC I. About the only major criticism I could level at it is the playing area in Rome is incredibly small, but even that doesn't matter like it did in 2009 since we get the entirety of Rome to play with in Brotherhood. So gameplay seems clunky at first and I've heard a lot of complaints about it, but I think it just needs time, it didn't take long before I was able to freerun around at top speed without errors. Graphically, you can tell it's from a generation old console that was halfway through it's lifespan when this was released but it still looks great in parts, particularly within cities. Though some NPC facial animations are absolutely monstrous, it's pretty funny to look at and I found myself spending some time stalking poor NPC's for a closer look in first person. One NPC in particular comes across as half clown, half cheap prostitute. I love him. I think any comments on the story is best left until I've finished the trilogy for the bigger picture. Although I've played this before I haven't played Brotherhood (just begun last week and haven't gotten very far) or Revelations before and I've managed to avoid spoilers over the last few years so I've no idea where this is going. I think the gist is the Assassins and Templars differ in philosophy with the Assassins fighting for peace through free will while the Templars believe in peace via order and control and they've launched a millennia old war because of this but I could be way off. Maybe there's some overarching story or theme that isn't obvious yet so I'm looking forward to finding out. Platinuming the game isn't too much hassle. I've seen a lot of complaints about the feather collectables but with a guide I was able to collect them all in just under four hours, I'm sure anyone who trophy hunts has had much worse. Most trophies are pretty easy with a couple of annoying combat trophies, and watch out for the single missable trophy during the flying sequence if you're going for this. Overall, even after nine years the game holds up well, great narrative, fantastic setting and environment, fun combat, great atmosphere and soundtrack, controls might seem clunky at first but stick with it and an easy platinum with a typical time being around 20 hours if you're quick, closer to or above 30 hours if you take your time. Popular Post Donkrieg1011
Plat 104: The Evil Within 2 Never played the first game so I don't know how this game stacks up compared to it. Overall it's a pretty solid survival horror experience where the open world is actually interesting. My only gripe was with the game's bosses. For all the teasing in the first half of the game I expected the boss battles to be challenging and tense. Turns out it's the easiest part of the game lol. General tip is to find a corridor that is long enough to maneuver in and just run around it. Also, if you have to add a trophy for the hardest difficulty, maybe don't make it crash in certain chapters? I lost my progress 3 times in chapter 7 on Classic mode because the game flipped out at a certain part and booted me back to the home screen . For anyone struggling with this on Classic I suggest you keep trying and watching difficult parts on Youtube for tips. But seriously once you get past chapter 3 the game is pretty much a cakewalk so don't be discouraged and just keep trying . My 7 saves just in case someone needs it: - Save 1 at beginning of chapter 3 - Save 2 before City Hall boss fight - Save 3 before getting the 2nd painting in chapter 7 since the game has a tendency to crash here - Save 4 after the 3 fire men fight in chapter 9 - Save 5 after defeating BBQ man in chapter 11 - Save 6 before fire walk in chapter 13 - Save 7 before you fight the boss in chapter 14 Edited June 26, 2018 by Donkrieg1011

Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
#84: Hitman: Absolution Top of Your Game Collect all trophies This is the fourth Hitman game that I've played, after really starting the series with the HD trilogy last year. And with every game that I finish from it, I find myself liking the series even more than I have before. I took my time and really enjoyed playing this, even with it being a considerable change from the originals. And to think that I almost missed out on it because of the server shutdown. It isn't faultless: it seems to perfect some of its predecessors greatest strengths in some aspects, before deviating from what worked well in the original trilogy for something worse. But in majorly everything else, I thought Absolution really shined. The music was wonderful. The connected story was more gripping, and compelling than at least Contracts and Silent Assassin's were. There were several memorable moments throughout the game, including particular kills, direct confrontations with the targets, and even some of the scenes. Combat and firefighting is much improved. The character dialogue each level is filled to the brim with is worth stopping to listen to. Then, of course in comparison to the earlier games, there is even wider freedom of choice in attacking the various targets. Nearly every re-run of a chapter to discover the unique traps, accident opportunities, and paths to kill targets makes them as interesting, if not more so, than the first time through. This especially fits with the Blackwater Park chapter and the six distinctly different ways to engage the target there, my personal favorite contract from the game. I even completed all of the chapters using solely the starting suit and not being seen by anyone, to see how the approach to the chapter would change. I'm not sure that I can pick between this and Blood Money as my favorites of the series, but I loved a majority of my time with this. Now I'm even more interested in completing the series entirely, and getting to Hitman GO and the 2016 reboot than I was before. Popular Post Yoey_666
#242 - Detroic: Become Human Another David Cage masterpiece which I highly enjoyed. He made the completely right improvements with decision diagrams and the way you can play chapters from specific checkpoints again. The story was amazing and you have nearly "endless" options to fuck everything up or how your story ends. Looking forward to the day, Quantic Dream will release their next game.
sh4d0wzcs
#47 The Order 1886 Story was pretty good, gameplay could've been better but I still liked it enough to finish it. Game honestly reminded me of a Telltale version of Uncharted with the ammount of cutscenes..

Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #50 Atelier Rorona - The Alchemist of Arland Complete - Obtained after getting all other trophies. Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Current Rarity: 6.50% Before I go into the "platinum journey" that shows on this profile, I have to explain that that I played this game several times previously on a different profile, before I started trophy hunting. This game is not meant for casual trophy hunters that just want to get as many trophies in as little time as possible. It takes time, planning, and patience. It takes a great understanding of the game's mechanics, which are not easy, and there aren't many in-depth explanations in the game that will help you with those mechanics. However, I am actually glad that this game could deter casual trophy hunters as this game is fantastic and would be a shame for people to gloss it over just for a quick couple trophies. The story, while there isn't much of one, is done well. The game's real star, though, is character story and development. All of the characters have really good back stories, which you will fully explore with all the character endings. And the game has really good humor-- which fits with the light story. Everything in this game gets so much easier if you understand the alchemy. You get overpowered bombs to use in battle... you get buffed so much with your equipment... you get extra friendship points from turning in high-quality items... you get your kingdom assignments done more quickly. The only downsides to this game are: There's a Plus version which is much more fun, which makes the synthesis a lot more fun and also got rid of the need to prioritize the endings. It freezes. A lot.

Popular Post Honor_Hand
Platinum #82 - Rayman Origins (PS Vita) Rarity: 11,80% It was nice to have a chance to replay this game again on the Vita. Got the Platinum on the PS3 version some time ago so I knew what to expect from this game. Anyways, Rayman Origins is just flat out great. Rayman controls like a dream and the level design and tight challenge make up for some intense and fun platforming sections. I'd also say that this one of the most whimsical games I have played in a while and I loved it for that. It sometimes made me think where the hell happened to all these colorful characters and environments in modern big-budget video games. Different to this Vita version is the inclusion of touch controls in order to zoom in or out the camera from Rayman, to pop item bubbles or bubblized enemies from far away (which made completing those medallions considerably easier) and to look out for relics hidden on the stage's background. I wasn't really to keen on hunting for those relics. I didn't even know it was a thing until I was about to finish the game and I felt that stopping to carefully look on the environment to find the relics kind of dragged the experience to a halt. What was really fun were those speed trophies. I found them slightly harder on this version only because the Vita screen is obviously smaller than if you play on a proper big screen TV but nailing a good time on a stage or keeping the pace with one of those running chests were both an exhilarating experience. Is the game hard? Not really and the rarity shows this. I'd say that it has a tight difficulty but nothing that some good practice and memorization cannot beat. ^^ Platinum #83 - Mecho Tales (PSN / PS VIta) Rarity: 77,44% This one, on the other side, was kind of a disappointment. Despite the colorful aesthetics and the nice idea of implementing a twin-stick shooter with a sidescroller, the game definitely falls flat on its face. Simple platforming, repetitive enemies, glitchy gameplay, and a total lack of replay value for a rather short game made this experience totally forgettable. The music, the few there is, was great. And the shooting-while-moving mechanic seems well thought out but there is really not much fun stuff to jump at on this game. I'd say the main issue with the game is how simple and repetitive it is. Trophy wise, it is a total cakewalk, just progress through the game normally picking up everything and you should have all the trophies when you kill the final boss, which should take roughly 3-4 hours of actual gameplay. One final note for this game is how bullet-spongy the final boss was. Really! The rest of the bosses were ridiculously easy up to this point and required almost no effort whatsoever but the final guy made me think my game had glitched out some point due to the considerable amount of time I spent with it compared to the rest of the bosses. Had to look for a video on Youtube to make sure that the strategy I was following was right. >.>
Popular Post Fire
#185 - Infamous Second Son Enjoy Your Powers Collect all trophies Very enjoyable game and easy platinum to add to the collection. Collectibles were all marked on the map and Expert mode was not much more difficult then easy mode. Great looking game, but the main story itself was not very good, especially in comparison with Infamous games on ps3. I liked the variance of the powers although most of the time i only used Neon power. Difficulty 3/10 - Enjoyment 7/10

Popular Post WhipLashM
So after like a year of not getting any plats I just went on a roll this past month with 5 platinums, 2 ultra rares and a rare and 2 easy as cake ones. Starting off with #25 Injustice 2 World Destroyer 2.75% Ultra Rare #26 Ghost Recon Wildlands Master of the Wildlands 14.48% Rare #27 Resistance Burning Skies Platinum 41.91% Common #28 Zero Time Dilemma Zero Escape 72.83% Common And now for my rarest trophy yet #29 Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Platinum 0.88% Ultra Rare Getting this was absolute torture, getting the Giant Accomplishment trophy was hell, 160 challenges that don't register a lot of times was a pain. But I'm glad I did finish it in the end, seeing as some trophies are no longer possible to get and knowing how hard it is to get done it will possibly get even rarer as time goes on.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#326- Virginia Virginia I never made decisions. Things always came up and made them for me. "Very strange" is the best way to describe this one. Does give off some heavy Twin Peaks's vibes, which I appreciate. But even after 2 playthroughs, I still don't fully grasp what is going on. #327- Chaos on Deponia Platinum Chalice You unlocked all other trophies. This one was as funny as its predecessor, and I really hope we get the third game soon. But for whatever reason, Pin-Up Goal didn't pop.. Did everything I was supposed to do, so not sure why. Only thing I can think of is my game breaking, forcing me to reload an earlier save could have had something to do with it. This seems to happen when you skip certain things with the start button. I would advise saving here and there, as not having a manual save to fall back on will result in having to start from scratch. And speaking of Pin-Up Goal... that is definitely more skin than I ever expected to see in this game. :/ Spoiler

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #140 Planet of the Eyes Eye of the Storm Collect all other trophies. It was okay. Got it on the flash sale. Short game, had to purposefully wait so I would make sure that I didn't beat my current fastest plat [Ms. Pac-Man] which I'd rather be there instead of something like this. The gameplay felt a bit clunky, music was pretty good. Story was serviceable. The guy who did the narrator was pretty good. I feel like this game sold almost entirely to trophy hunters with how common the PSN rarity is for the plat. I mean some of the trophies are out of the way. So I feel normal people would miss at least a couple and not bother. *shrug* Nice plat icon. Edited June 27, 2018 by Elvick_
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#281 - Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Didn't hold up to the memories I had of this when I played it on PS3. Maybe it's because I'm older now and I don't appreciate a game wasting my time for the sake of it by making me run across the map to initiate side missions instead of letting me start them where I pick them up. Lip sync was a disaster as well, but other than that it's still a fun game for the most part. Enjoyment: 6.5 Difficulty: 3
Popular Post Emillius-Maximus
Platinum #71: KnackUltimate KnackReceived all trophies. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 This game was enjoyable at first, but going for the platinum is a pain. In the same difficulty you chose in the beginning you'll need to collect all relics. ALL relics. Those freakin' diamond relics cost me about 5 playthroughs. Thank god the cutscenes were skippable. After you got ALL of the relics you would need to play the game twice again... One for hard and on for very hard. It bored me so much since you already knew what's going to come at you and you don't even have to think about how you are doing it. It wasn't a hard game at all but just plain boring. Never would've bought it but got it with the ps+ free games of february so I gave it a shot.
