This and Kotor are my favorite bioware games. Great characters, great world, good story, combat is good and skill system has enough variety. Only trophy i had trouble with was kill 1000 darkspawn.

Odin Sphere Leithrasir is a remake of the 2007 PS2 game original. The game follows the story of 5 distinct characters, each of those stories branches into one another allowing us players to witness every single predicaments through their eyes. Gwendolyn, a Valkyrie, daughter of Odin, Cornelius, a prince cursed into a Pooka, Oswald a shadow knight cursed to serve for eternity, Mercedes, a fairy that becomes queen prematurely and Velvet a survivor of the late Valentine Capital.

 

 

As a remake, expect the same glorious story from Leiftrasir, this time however with tons of new stuff. New features include new stages and enemies, new defense mechanism, reworked AI, new bosses and POW gauge that allows new combos to be made and a reworked Psypher system. All that with a new HD graphics and sound.

 

By the end of my journey, it was impossible not to witness the brilliance of Vanillaware, this is definitely a game that I recommend to all Vita, PS4 and PS3 owners. Truly a Gem.

Resident Evil Revelations is a survivor horror game originally released in 2012 for the 3DS. The game is set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and 5 and follows Jill and Parker as they embark on a hellish ride to stop a bioterrorist organization know as Veltro from infecting the Earth waters with a new virus know as T-Abyss virus.  Unlike previous installments from the series at the time, namely 5 and 6, Revelations took the series back to it's roots, delivering a tenser experience with limited resources. The result was to me at least one if not the best one in series since 4.

 

 

Revelations on the PS4 is a enhanced version of the original and based on the 2014 PS3 version, which delivered enhanced graphics, new enemy and new tweaks for the coop mode Raid mode. On the PS4, Capcom added a new stage for the latter mode know as Ghost Ship Chaos, with even more tougher enemies and a new powerful boss.

 

Revelations was a 3 times is a charm for me, I originally played on the 3DS, platinumed on PS3 and four years after that shiny reward I decided to embark on this cruise ship once more. The result was just as good as the first time, a game that I truly recommend to any fan of survivor horror and all Resident Evil fans.

I almost can't believe how easy that was. The most annoying part of the platinum (live missions) only has to be done once, which I already did in Volume 1. The unlocked songs carry over to the other two games, so that part of the game can be completely ignored. 

 

Again, I don't have much to say about these. Anyone who likes Love Live will probably like these games. The gameplay isn't the best, but it's not bad. It's also one of the easier rhythm games I've played.

Difficulty: 2/10
It's really easy to get all the story trophies just by following a guide. It would be really difficult without one because the game doesn't tell you anything. The hardest part (which is more grindy than hard) is the mini game where you need to get at least 600,000 points. 

Enjoyment: 6/10
Story was decent. I started to get bored after a while. The mini-game was actually pretty fun.

Life is Strange Before The Storm

 

Gotta start somewhere, and this is where I chose. I love this game. Some people may say that Before The Storm falls a bit short compared to the original Life is Strange, and I totally get it. However. I personally think that: It is once again, a fantastic example of excellent writing with a gorgeous soundtrack to match. What it may be lacking in terms of exciting gameplay mechanics, compared to the original Life is Strange; it sure makes up for with an immersive world rich in story and full with characters that are actually interesting.

 

The above picture is from one of my absolute favourite scenes, gets me every time!

I'm not ashamed to say that I usually try to take advantage of easy PS Plus platinums and this is the case of this game.It's currently free on the Portuguese PS Store for PS Plus subscribers and I saw that the trophies seemed easy, so why not? 

The game itself isn't very good, but it's playable and it's reasonably fun. It isn't very player friendly, since there's no way to upgrade your ship or your weapons; there isn't even a way to cycle between the normal and special ammo that the game gives you, which would be useful if you wanted to keep the more powerful ammo for the tougher enemies. Instead, you just have to use it in one go, until it depletes. You may have some trouble, in the beginning, but as you become more experienced and once you have a better knowledge of the game and the enemies, it becomes easier.

The trophies are easy and none is missable, since there's chapter select. All of the nine gold trophies are story related and the six silver ones are just about completing certain tasks in each mission.

Like I said, the game is playable and it doesn't have any bugs, that I noticed, but it's far from being amazing. However, if you like easy and fast platinums, you may want to give it a try.

I personally don't consider this like a hard ultra rare platinium trophy its just a time consuming one and due to the fact that the 80% - 90% of the people that play it never go for the trophies there you got your answer.

 

But still I feel proud to had got it and personally I think is not a bad game the worst thing is farming kill with all the weapons but you can do that pretty fast in one - two days!

#258 - Yakuza Kiwami

This series has won me over. I loved this just as much as 0, although the story felt like it had more filler and there weren't as many substories. That's fine though, this is a remake of a PS2 game, I can't expect it to match the amount of content of a PS3 game. I'm very glad I played 0 first, some of the characters here didn't really get enough development if you were to play this game alone, but 0 fixes that by developing all the returning characters really well. The minigames in this were basically replicas of what was available in 0, with the addition of new karaoke songs, different Shogi patterns, and a much better catfighting game than the one in 0.That was a little disappointing, I was hoping there'd be more than that, but on the bright side they removed disco dancing which I hated in 0. The substories weren't as entertaining as the ones in 0, but they were still worth playing through. The Majima Everywhere system was just an annoyance though, constantly being interrupted by him got very tiring, I hope the other games don't have anything like that. I'm interested to see where this franchise goes next and I may actually decide to pre-order Kiwami 2, which releases next month, so I won't have long to wait until I can continue from where this left off.

Quite the clusterfuck this one. Not a fan of the fragment system, the bad character animations and atrocious lip sync stop me from being able to consider this a good game. What saved it were the puzzles for the most part as well as the decision/consequence sections.

I like interactive stories like that. This one wasn't as good as games by Quantic Dream, imho, but it was still an enjoyable game. Platinum could be a pain if it wasn't for backup saves; I don't think I would have enjoyed 5 playthroughs of it  Also, I was wondering where I knew Becky from, and then I read that she was played by Katie Cassidy. I loved her in Arrow and Supernatural.
