Popular Post Ala-Arska
Late Shift Platinum Trophy Acquire all trophies Surprisingly good. An interactive movie, much like The Bunker. Only better acted. The main reason why I didn't play (or watch, LOL) this sooner was the main image (same as Plat image). I thought that the main dude looks kind of ill in those shots and I didn't want to watch hours of that face Well, spoiler alert: he looks just normal and does a fine job in acting as well. What weirdos we humans are Plus points for having a setting in London. The British are coming and all that, I love England and hope they'll win the World Cup ?? Late Shift is a swell combination of game and movie. A good way to spend a hung-over weekend. Film buffs! In an Adventure with Trophies

Popular Post Bullstomp
Conan: Exiles Fun Factor: 1/2 a point of 10 Difficulty: Variable (see below) I bought the collector's edition day one because I am a huge Conan fan. Let me say up front the last time I was so disappointed with a licensed video game I was playing E.T. on the Atari VCS. Ridiculously buggy and glitchy, EVEN after a 14gb day one patch. Terrible fight mechanics. Incoherent story. The only redeeming quality is being able to plat this in less than an hour with the admin page which I wanted to avoid. Oh, and you HAVE to boost one trophy for the platinum because its impossible to get legit. If you are going for a quick platinum this meets your criteria. If you want to play a game that's fun, you would likely get more entertainment picking your nose.
Popular Post Kristycism
#53 - Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2 to everyone else) Past, Present, and Future Final Time: ~85 hours This was one of my favourite games on my PS2, so it's nice to have the PS4 port on my profile as a tribute to one of my most-played games. There was nothing difficult about the plat really, it was just time consuming getting all the medals, and Spheda can be somewhat annoying at times (more because you have to go through the whole level again any time you fail). But I had a lot of fun reminscing with the game, so the 85 hours mostly breezed by and I'll probably do the whole thing again at some point in the future because I love this game so much. Plus I spent like 400 hours across various save files playing this on the PS2, so 85 hours is nothing. If you didn't play the game on the PS2 and have those fond memories, it might not be so great though. It's a dungeon crawler style game I guess, with a very simple combat system (though not as simple as Dark Cloud), but there's a variety of other things to do in the game that keep it fun. I personally spent loads more time than I needed playing with fish until I bred a giant Bobo (it's a fish type, I swear) to destroy everyone with in the Finny Frenzy (it's a fish race). As PS2 games go, I still think it holds up fairly well. Obviously it's got nothing on modern games, so don't play it expecting anything next-gen, but if you're happy playing older games then I'd definitely recommend this one. Also, side note, why does Max only have three fingers (and a thumb) on each hand in the plat image?
Popular Post zizimonster
#48 Chaos on Deponia After platinuming the original Deponia last week, I decided to continue my journey with the sequel. Chaos on Deponia is more or less the same as its predecessor. An amazing adventure full of jokes and great characters. I think Rufus and Goal may be one of the finest duos in gaming history. Their conversations are always amusing, that I've never got bored listening to them. Hehe! Now bring on Goodbye Deponia and Deponia Doomsday, Daedalic!
Popular Post Major_Kiba
172: Dust: An Elysian Tail A fairly fun and easy platinum. I will admit that the first hour of this game completely failed to grab me which is why I ended up putting it down for 2 weeks but after coming back to it I foumd myself throughly enjoying the game and though the story was mostly predictable there were still a few surpises that kept me going to the end. Popular Post Dead Weight
#190: God of War Dad of Boi I do like the new focus and perspective they did for this game. Story were in the previous games but the main focus was gameplay and presentation. The journey presented here felt out of place at first but felt like a good driving force for Kratos, and Atreus especially. The gameplay is okay, its slower paced and has a strict over the shoulder third person perspective. It gets better when you unlock more weapon skills and runic attacks. All in all I enjoyed playing in this, albeit in a different way compared to the Greek Pantheon games.

Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#184: Adventures of Mana It's a fun oldschool RPG that reminded me a lot of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Time in terms of gameplay and mechanics with its top-down view, tile world, and beating dungeons to obtain items that are needed to progress further. The bosses were hardly a challenge and grinding to level 99 was completely unnecessary, as the game is easy enough already. The story was surprisingly sad. Characters and some parts of the plot could also be fleshed out more. On 7/7/2018 at 11:50 PM, killivincent said: #122 冒険を極めし者全てのトロフィーを獲得した。 Platinum of Ys: Memores of Celceta JPN! Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#287 - Fe Another artsy game, similar to Rime and Aer. I wasn't much of a fan of either and this was the same. While it has some cool mechanics and artstyle that's just not enough for me, The half-arsed stealth segments didn't help either, nor did the collectible grind, which took almost as long as the game itself. Popular Post merciful84
Prince of Persia Obtain all other trophies How I ended up feeling about this game: Meh. I'm probably one of the few people ever who overall doesn't care for this game. The story was good but the fighting system was too bare-bones and the puzzles & parkour sections slow the pacing down way too much. They dragged the game out longer than it should've been. Hopefully, the other games in series improved upon these areas.

Popular Post Durandal
Make it Home My seventh platinum. Hob is a wonderful game which mixes a few genres very well together. There is a lot of exploration and puzzle solving in this game but also quite a lot of hack n' slay combat. But the most interesting, and probably even the best part is the ability to transform the entire landscape of the world. Basically the world is one big mechanical puzzle! Easiest way to describe this is to compare the game to the early Tomb Raider games only on bigger scale and it is one world instead of many smaller levels. I really like this game and it is well worth playing it. But the best way to describe it is to check out a few videos on youtube. Collecting trophies is not that hard but sometimes a bit boring due to the grind. But there aren't that many collectables only the locations are sometimes hard to find. But with a good map this is relatively easy, there is on on the game subforum here. There are three harder trophies however. One requires the completion of the game under five hours while another only allows 4 death for one playthrough. And for the third you have to complete the game without any upgrades whatsoever. But it is easier then it might sound. Overall a very fun game, with a lot of great moments and a mostly enjoyable trophy hunt! Popular Post Leon Castle
#116 Dragon Age II 9th Jul 2018 Sequel to Dragon Age. I liked the Mage side/Canon of the Story, but not the Templar side/Non-Canon, but it was a little funny playing as a Mage during my Templar side run. Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #142 Unholy Heights Unholy Heights You have conquered the world. The biggest grip for this game is the tutorials don't really tell you too much of what you need to know. And the guide here didn't even mention how to unlock tier 4 Abyssals so I wasted hours trying to get that stupid quest to show up. Only to google it later and find the answer elsewhere. Lame. You have to setup the tier 1 Abyssals with a Bloody Alter before the quest will show up. They have to pray a certain amount until their "prayers are answered". It was a fun game though. I like games like this where you build a tower or whatever and defend against oncoming enemies. It's not too difficult. Skeletons, Zombies, the ranged chicks and the pirate cats are all great default tenants to have. Go through a few generations and you can pretty much ride them to the end. And setting them up by stairs so you take on enemies one at a time makes the game easy as hell honestly. Worth the sale price it was on for sure.
