Popular Post cr1s
#368 - Prototype (PS4) Platinum Trophy Obtain all trophies. Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Man, I had such a blast replaying this game. I initially played it on the PS3 in 2012. I did my first playthrough and then got sidetracked with other games before going back to it in 2014 and getting the platinum. 4 years later and it's still as fun as I remember it, even though this version is merely a port and not a remaster, which is slightly disappointing. It still holds up well after all this time, though. You play as Alex Mercer, who wakes up in a genetic engineering facility just before a couple of scientists were to perform an autopsy on him. He then escapes the facility and discovers he has superhuman abilities. In addition to that, he can also consume people and gain their memories, skills, and physical form. With no recollection of his past, he will use that his advantage in order to uncover the truth behind his true identity as well as the events that unfold in Manhattan. The story is pretty interesting and holds your attention all the way through the game. I like the way it builds up over time and as you get closer and closer to its climax, although I feel like a certain part could've been documented a bit better. You can also unlock additional memories through the Web of Intrigue, where you hunt various people related to the events of the game and consume them in order to obtain their memories. It certainly helps to keep you interested in the story by revealing more information on the background of the events. The combat is a lot of fun, and very rarely does it feel boring or repetitive. Alex can transform his arms in order to "equip" powers such as Blades, Claws, Whipfist, and Hammerfists. He also has defensive powers like a Shield that absorbs damage from a specific direction until it breaks, or Armor that lets him sustain more damage. Most of these can be upgraded by gaining Experience Points, which can be obtained by completing missions, obtaining medals in events, getting collectibles, etc. He can also pick up enemies' weapons. Depending on the situation, these can be helpful in turning the tide of a battle. However, you'll be relying on the powers most of the time. The combat is also made more exciting thanks to the soundtrack, which really helps when it comes to accentuating the intense bits. The game takes place in Manhattan and depicts many real-life landmarks: Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, etc. I don't know how accurate of a depiction it is as I've never been there, but the world is large enough for a game that was released in 2009 and doesn't feel bland, although I would've liked to see "random events" take place throughout the city. But now that I think of it, I guess the in-game events kinda fulfill that purpose. The platinum trophy is quite challenging due to: Events: These can be really tricky depending on their type. I didn't struggle with Glide and Movement events as much this time, but some of the War and Kill events still took me many tries. Hard difficulty: This difficulty is a fair bit tougher than your typical hardest difficulty, especially early on when your health is low and your powers are limited. Your survival skills are put to the test during those parts, especially in the enclosed areas, so you gotta play it smart and know how to defeat the enemies using the limited resources that you have. Speaking of which, I gotta mention that one boss fight that drags on and on and on as a result... Although you can cheese the above using a couple of exploits, they're by no means foolproof ways to make them a breeze. But if you want an easier time with the platinum then they're definitely the way to go. But yeah, it was nice revisiting this game after all these years, and I look forward to playing Prototype 2 again (next). Popular Post Jiano_Vera
Platinum #82 - The Order: 1886 Going into this game I really didn’t expect much due to the mixed reviews, but I actually liked this game! The game looks beautiful even though it was a 2015 title, and even the fight animations rivals those in other games like The Last of Us. It was damn satisfying to watch different ways melee-ing enemies in different scenarios, like against a table or next to a wall. The story was decent but the voice acting was on point. In terms of gameplay, I enjoyed it. The game is however, short and linear, and its ending leaves you on a cliffhanger as some plot lines are left hanging. I wouldn’t mind playing a sequel and it deserves a play through at best. I was able to pick it up on this PSN sale so I personally wouldn’t pay for it for a full price. The platinum is extremely easy and it can be done in one day and the collectibles aren’t too difficult if you explore everything. Overall Score: 8/10 Platinum Difficulty: 2/10

Popular Post madbuk
#259 - Batman: Arkham Asylum Without a doubt, the best Arkham game in my opinion. Later games add so much bloat and the open world robs it of the atmosphere that Asylum had. Arkham Asylum is a very finely tuned and curated experience, the only reason you have to deviate from the main path is to get riddler trophies and solve riddles (which can actually be pretty fun, especially in this game where there were only 240 of them instead of the ridiculous number in City). This helps keep the story moving at a brisk pace and ensures that the quality of the game never wavers, it's great fun from start to finish. Combat isn't as good as later entries, which is to be expected, but it's serviceable and the stealth sections aren't much of a step back from what we get later in the series. Combat challenges were much easier than I remembered them being, whereas the predator challenges ended up being harder than what I remembered (still fairly easy though). I replayed this in the hope that it would re-adjust me to PS3 Arkham so I could appreciate Arkham Origins more. Going straight from Arkham Knight on PS4 to Arkham Origins on PS3 was rough. Unfortunately, this game is so much better than I recall Origins being from what I played of that game, so I still have no desire to go back to it lol. Very big thanks to GiussepeG11 for giving me this game, took 5 months to get here but it was worth the wait, I enjoyed it even more stacking than I was expecting to and I look forward to doing it yet again on PS4 eventually.
Popular Post Den_Punisher
Master of the Secret Arts Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 8/10 So here we go a legendary Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2! an Amazing game and one of the best hack n slash of all time, but sadly with most laggy online I ever saw in videogames... sadly! Very enjoyed base game ?did it without cheesing with DS,BOTA,Tonfa,Claws most of the time. Sadly can't say the same about Team Missions eheh. Every team mission was done with 2x Ryu in fair way... except UN2... was trying to fight Fiend Genshin, but game is way 2 laggy for that sadly... so only here we used a glitch to beat it. Not proud of using that way, but blame devs for such a bad connection and optimization. The only mission without laggs was UN3 did it in 3rd try with 2x BOTA Special Thanks to Legendary Player and my very good friend SoundDreamer! ? even with that hella laggy online he managed to help me... easy for him haha Back then no doubt game was hella hard and doing it fair with 2x the same skill players was 10of10 but using Rachel and twirling can't be 10of10 lmao ? or waiting till pro will destroy everyone... but anyways. Janire1911
#29 Platinum Midnight (Midnight Deluxe) Ugh, I feel dirty now. Yesterday I had a very busy and hectic day and it was close to midnight before I was home and my streak of consecutive days with at least one trophy threatened to end so I needed some quick trophies. I bought and downloaded Midnight Deluxe and within 10 minutes I had 2 silver and 5 gold. Feels like I cheated though

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#207 - Tokyo Xanadu The Legend of the X.R.C. Obtain all trophys. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this gem. The best way I can describe it is Trails of Cold Steel with a Ys combat system, and yes, that is as awesome as it sounds. JRPG fans should absolutely give this game a go. In addition to the great combat system, It has a lovable cast of characters and tons of stuff to do. I kinda screwed up and was forced to do a third playthough to cleanup the trophies, but even so, I spent like 70 hours with the game. Never felt like a chore to me. Oh yeah, and they brought back the Blade card game that was in Trails of Cold Steel (maybe more of their games?). Of course I got really into that all over again - up there with Gwent from The Witcher 3 for me. Here's hoping they make Tokyo Xanadu into a franchise. I'll definitely have to play the eX+ version of the game someday. Edited July 10, 2018 by Undead Wolf
Popular Post DamagingRob
#329- Bloodborne Bloodborne All trophies acquired. Hats off! This was a pleasant surprise. Didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Thanks, PS Plus! Most of it went pretty smoothly, but some areas were pretty rough. I likely got killed more by regular enemies than bosses, though. Until the postgame, at least. Some of those Chalice dungeon bosses were brutal. With the ones in a dungeon where you had your health cut in half the entire time being the worst.. But I prevailed. Eventually. Also wrote a very detailed and lengthy KYC review, if you want more info. One thing I forgot to mention there, is that you can't pause the game.. But I got used to it. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#288 - Aerea While the game looks pretty good visually, the rest kind of falls flat. The combat is too basic and provides no challenge and the game is also marred by technical issues. The grinding in this is the most boring thing ever and took 21 hours to farm 75k coins to buy the upgrades needed. Popular Post Lars
Two very easy platinums today: #147: Zeus Quest Remastered: This game is a point and click title which tells the story of Zeus, who does some weird stuff in his adventure. This one is a more classic title and these games are all the same, very easy to finish with a guide. Very difficult to finish without one. I followed the story but also used a guide, the game made me laugh some times but in the end i played it for the plat. But it definetely wasn't boring. Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 #148: Survive Mr. Cube This game is also fairly easy, you need some luck though. You get a random character every time and when you die it is game over. Then you get back at the starting point and get a new character with a selected weapon. In my opinion you need a ranged weapon otherwise you die too quickly. I got mine really quick but it took me a long time to find the level with the final boss because that is randomised. You have loads of stages with portals in them, one random stage contains the final boss fight. It took me about 15 stages with multiple backtracking actions to finally find it. Just that playthrough costed me 4 hours. But it says enough that the die 5 times trophy was my last one. Quite fun, but also really repetitive. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10
