Popular Post xh117
#78 - Ultimate Shifter - Gravity Rush 2 I enjoyed this one more than the first, even though some parts could have been better like the stealth sections and gem grind. Wanted to get this one out of the way before the servers shut down, not that it matters for the trophies. It's also somewhat underrated, hopefully we'll see another in the series because it's very unique in its gameplay. Overall solid 8/10 Enjoyment 2/10 Difficulty Edited July 13, 2018 by xh117
Popular Post Metroid-Prime
PLATINUM #75: STAR OCEAN: FAITHLESSNESS & INTEGRITY Warden of the Stars Took a year and a half (I played many other games in between playthroughs) but I finally did it. I promised myself I'd platinum this one since I didn't have the patience for SO4 on the ps3 lol

Same, dude! Plus the soundtrack, style and vibes from this game are awesome! I'm still playing it even after the platinum! ?
Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #205: Dragon Quest Builders (Vita) Took me a year to complete Chapter 1 ( had to play it 1.5 times, first time missed speedrun completion by 3 days). Went back to day 12 save, and speed run to get chapter 1. Finished Chapter 2-4 within a week. Keeping an eye out for the sequel, just hoping the challenges ave complete within X days. Like to take my time with these building games. Finished first chapter with Platinum Speedrun guide. Had far easier time following the video below, then watching separate vids for the challenges. Popular Post SilentMake1992
Platinum #116: Bound By Flame Platinum Trophy Win all of the trophies in Bound by Flame 4.80% - Ultra Rare Decent RPG that feels bit unpolished. Story tries to build up to something but ends up dull. There are few characters that could been interesting, but most of them are pretty flat. Gameplay is okay, but weapons are very unbalanced, daggers are so much far better than any two handed weapons.
Popular Post cr1s
#369 - Prototype 2 (PS4) Platinum Trophy Unlock all Trophies. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 The story is decent but less interesting than Prototype 1's. It takes place a year after the events of the previous game. You play as James Heller, a man on a quest of revenge. It might sound exciting and all, but I just couldn't really get into it. It seems forced at times, what with the excessive profanity and over-the-top voice acting. And for the record, I don't mind the former, I just thought it was unnecessary in this particular game. I did like some of Heller's snarky remarks, though. I also gotta admit that there's a pretty interesting turn of events... Let's just say that a certain role is reversed. On the other hand, the gameplay is more refined this time. You have all the offensive powers from Prototype 1 plus new ones such as Tendrils and Claws. Some of the new gameplay features include performing awesome finishers on APCs, tanks, and helicopters, using enemies as powerful bombs, and relying on a sonar ability that you will use to hunt a lot of enemies. There aren't really any boss fights besides the one in the ending, but there are new types of enemies, making for a nice variety. The platinum is much easier than Prototype 1's. While there are events, they were added after the game was released, hence why there was no trophy attached to them. Hard difficulty is a joke this time, especially if you do it on a NG+. I'm glad to have all stacks in the Prototype series done now. If you love open-world games, Prototype is a series worth playing for sure! Popular Post Buje-Boy
Platinum #37: InkSplosion -------------------------------------------------------------------- Platinum-explosion: Complete all the trophies. Difficulty: 4/10 Fun: 1/10 Common: 83.20% Includes 14 Trophies [1.230 Points] (1x...11x...2x...0x) Another retro themed game by @RatalaikaGames. Sometimes it was very difficult for me to reach the required 100,000 points in classical mode. But I never gave up and finally got the Platinum. Maybe some of you would say "It's easy!", but for me it was really hard because the controls are terrible as hell and I'm not familiar with those kind of games. It took me several attempts and I'm so happy that I beaten this game. Annoyance Level was OVER 9000! Edited July 19, 2018 by Buje-Boy
Popular Post JaM
#241 Tales of Berseria Champion of Berseria Proof of conquering the world with Velvet and company. Thank you for playing! I was skeptical with people saying that this is a great Tales of game since I was really disappointed with Zestiria. Glad that I have finally gave this a shot because it was an awesome Tales of game. Fun Gameplay. Great Characters. Solid Plot. My only gripe is the EX Dungeon has very cheap sponge enemies that lessen the fun and made the grind worse. One sad note though, it made me want more for Xillia to have Japanese Dub Overall, would definitely recommend if you like JRPGs. Vesperia Hype? IntroPhenom
Platinum #35 & #36 Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom & Lost Grimoires 2: Shard of Mystery Platinum & Platinum Current rarity: 84.69% & 86.82% Personal difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Knowing very little about these games, aside from their high platinum trophy percentages, I went in thinking they were basic hidden object puzzle games, perhaps without much else. I was wrong! These games have nifty stories, numerous and different varieties of puzzles, and even some simple combat. Some of the puzzles had me thinking on them a bit, more so in the first game, since I chose not to follow a guide. I found all of the kestrels and roses on my first runs through. Had to repeat the first game almost four times, thanks to some odd glitch that had me uninstalling and re-installing, and fun frustrating stuff like that, but everything worked out in the end. Very much looking forward to playing other games from this developer.
Wannalottaplat
I don't have any yet. However, I have borrowed a game from someone else on this website. It was their first platinum years ago and I will be using the same exact disc to get it as my first platinum. Kind of cool to me.

Popular Post Jelloycat
Platinum #56 -Night in the Woods Overall I really enjoyed this game. It had a lot of interesting characters, the art style was nice, and some of the dialogue was really great. It definitely took a turn I wasn't expecting at the end - not too sure about that part, but it was still a good game. Also, the Demon Tower mini-game was actually pretty fun.

Popular Post Icebrand1270
And so it happened again! For the second time as OohYeah127, I had a Triple Plat Day! July 10th of 2018 saw me earn 3 Platinums! And here they are: 33. Toro 7/10/2018 at 9:50 AM A bullfighting game that is extremely repetitive. It's all about cape pass combos with proper timing to complete bullfights to lead to an off-screen QTE kill. The game was 15 dollars when originally released and when I bought it on my old profile (Icebrand1270) but was 3 dollars by the time I acquired it on my current profile, a much more suitable cost. 34. Nightmares from the Deep 3: Davy Jones 7/10/2018 at 4:13 PM One of several Artifex Mundi hidden object games ported from PC and Steam to PS4 and XB1 console formats, this is the conclusion of the trilogy of museum curator Sarah Black using her intelligence and resourcefulness to outwit and defeat the legendary pirate Davy Jones. Hidden objects, Mahjong and other minigames are what it's about. The graphics are very much like a painting but not artsy or snobbish. Good music as well. 35. Late Shift 7/10/2018 at 10:33 PM This game gained great fame as a "choose your own adventure movie" almost immediately upon release, and understandably so. A classic action movie plot with 7 possible endings and a "film reel" that cannot be paused or rewound, this was a definite thrill ride. Whether there will be more of this format of FMV games or this remains an oddity remains to be seen, but this was special. I'll take a brief break for now to refocus. Then it's back to the hunt!
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #143 Gryphon Knight Epic Gryphon Knight Epic Collect all Trophies in Gryphon Knight Epic That was overall fun. I wish they would've given the ability to switch which way you were facing with the right stick, it's circle and L2/R2 [L2 for left, R2 for right] and the way Squires work was kind of annoying given if you get hit too much they do literally nothing until you collect enough gems to level them back to at least 1. :/ Would've at least been nice if they did something all the time and the upgrades were a reward, rather than how it was done. Other than the Epic difficulty glitching I didn't have any problems. Rebeating it, which was made easier with the dark bow's special ability doing tons of damage to bosses, wasn't as bad as the first time. You get the dark bow for beating the game on Epic. Given how many internal trackers and rewards there are for beating the game on Epic, I'm surprised the trophy doesn't work properly. Maybe it does if you go directly for Epic, but I did it via chapter select. Oh well. After I beat Epic, which was a pain in the ass for me, I figured it wouldn't be too bad to finish on Knight. First playthrough I barely used any other weapons anyway. Other than two stages (the second war one, against the bull rushing dude -- and the second temple one with the guy with the lion/sling shot, just getting through the stages was a pain in the ass). Speed run was actually really easy, got it in just over an hour. The easiest difficulty is super easy. The puzzle boss is the worst thing ever invented though. Needing to actually do the puzzles on the bow only run was a pain in the ass. Otherwise the slingshot kills her like nothing through the stupid barrier so you don't even have to bother to do it. If you've played the game you'll know what I'm talking about by "puzzles". In short you have to shoot these little things to go a particular direction so they hit a barrier and dissolve it so the boss comes down (temporarily). Most puzzles have 5 or more things to shoot and it's a huge pain while the boss is attacking you to do it. It's kind of got some Mega Man aspects to it which I respect. I'm glad I picked it up on sale, and glad I was able to plat it, because I wasn't sure I would be able to do so. But if you can beat it on Epic, then you can definitely do the no upgrade/no buying anything/only bow run, because Knight's checkpoints really make things 10000x easier than Epic. edit; also if you're looking for a neat milestone trophy icon the speedrun for this game has you covered Edited July 14, 2018 by Elvick_

Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#218 F1 2012 I finally went back to finished this one off and it now holds the record for my longest platinum at 5 years and 5 months. It's also my first PS3 platinum in quite some time. As a huge F1 fan, I'm annoyed at myself for not finishing this one off sooner and for not giving the subsequent games the time of day so I've decided I'm going to plat all of the other F1 games as well and I'll be starting F1 2013 next week. #219 Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends More from Artifex Mundi. I enjoyed this as always. They removed the dialogue choices you had to make in Eventide 2 and whilst on that occasion it meant you had to do a second playthrough to get the choices you missed for the final trophy, you only need to do the one playthrough in Eventide 3. As ever, you need to complete the game on Expert difficulty and there also collectibles to find plus plenty of Hidden Object scenes to solve. No bonus chapter to complete this time around.

Popular Post HellcoreFire
#98: Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Hong Kong Legend It wasn't a hard platinum but a fun one. The only thing that made me think I wasn't going to be able to get it was that one long bike race I think it's called Enduro. I don't know how long it took me to win it but then it suddenly happened with the weakest bike on the first try without using the shortcuts because I was too tense to think about them once I got in the lead, lol. It wasn't the first time I lost a big lead with one of the fastest bikes. And when "Chief Insptector" and the plat didn't pop I was like: "What's going on?" But than I saw I still had to do Tran missions, luckily it was only three.
